Episode 89: Nina's Heavenly Delights Hello lovely queers! Welcome to this month's podcast, wherein Alicia introduces Sarah to one of her favorite Lesbian Films, Nina's Heavenly Delights. This 2006 romcom was done dirty by critics and even its own producers but it's kind of a joy to watch, for the most part. It's real cheesy in the best way, with family drama, a cooking competition that needs winning, a quintessential early aughts GBF, and a good amount of kissing! Enjoy! If you've been a long time listener of Gal Pals you know we are very pro-therapy over here. Today's episode is all about our personal experiences with therapy: when we first started going, how we found a good fit, when we started to see “results”, and overall how we've evolved because of what we've learned in therapy. What to Expect From This Episode: This is meant to be a conversation where we share what prompted us to go to therapy, how we found our therapists, and when we started noticing “results”. Just a friendly reminder these are just our experiences and we realize they do not represent the wide array of experiences folks have with therapy. Our intention is to simply share what this was like for us in hopes to inspire a dialogue with the people in your life and demystify the therapy experience. As always, take what you like and the rest. IN THIS EPISODE: When we first started going to therapy and what prompted it How therapy was talked about in your families growing up How we found the therapists' we have now When did we started to see “results” Ways we've changed/evolved BECAUSE of what we've learned in therapy When we took breaks from therapy or changed therapist and how we knew it was it time to go back What a typical therapy session is like ADDITIONAL EPISODES YOU MIGHT ALSO ENJOY: Apologizing Receiving Feedback Giving Feedback Nuances of Friendships, Not Taking It Personally, & Overthinking CONNECT WITH US Instagram Join: Gal Pal Corral ENGRID Instagram: @livengproof Email: engrid@livengproof.com Liveng Proof Podcast livengproof.com GEORGIE Instagram: @georgiemorley The Chasing Joy Podcast www.georgiemorleyphoto.com
