Finding the good in situations-even undesirable ones-and feeling grateful is a spiritual superpower. When we express gratitude, we're living with faith that blessings of all kinds are constantly unfolding and the goodness of God is in all things. Living with gratitude activates the Law of Increase. When you live with an attitude of gratitude, you are simply magnetic. Send us a textCan the words we speak and the intentions we hold truly shape our physical reality? Journey with means we explore this fascinating possibility. We'll revisit the controversial experiments of Masaru Emoto, who posited that words could influence the crystalline structure of water. Though often dismissed as pseudoscience, a new study by Feng et al. (2023), revitalizes this idea and examines if written words can influence biological systems. This research reveals that human embryonic kidney cells exposed to positive words show significant improvements in health markers. While this concept might echo Emoto's work, it opens a Pandora's box of questions about whether words act as energetic emitters affecting cellular structures. The possibility of language influencing biology through information fields or biofields may sound speculative, but it offers compelling directions for future research and leads us to consider the impact of positive self-talk on personal growth & health. The resonant effects of affirmations and the physiological responses they evoke may not be as "out there" as we once thought.takeawaysA new study suggests a link between words and cellular function. The implications of this research challenge traditional views Our thoughts and intentions may influence our physical health. This resurrects Masaru Emoto's water experiments The scientific community largely viewed Emoto's work as pseudoscience.Gerald Pollock's research introduces the concept of structured water.Structured water behaves differently around biological substances.Water can have a memory for substances it interacts with. While we don't know is these effects are real and what is causing them, it would fundamentally alter our understanding if this proved to be reproducibleChapters00:00Introduction to the Power of Thoughts04:45Gerald Pollock's Research on Water Structure6:50The Structure of Biological Water10:00How Water May Carry Information12:19The Feng et al. Speaking positive words over your life, over yourself is important.
Every time you affirm an idea, a dream or a wish that you hold in your heart, it sends out a vibration that brings that intention closer to you. This episode talks about how your positive words attract positive change and results. I remember reading books that reinforce how powerful our words are. Words ripple through the universe, sending different signals about what we want to attract in our lives. Naturally, this book resonated with me since I already believe in the power of manifestation. To me, positive words bring about positive changes that overflow into all areas of life. I'm here to spend quality solo time with you for EP188's Wise Walk as we discover our True Stride. There's been different situations in my life recently that are coming up and are reinforcing this idea of positive words. It's a chance to reshape how we speak so we're intentionally giving energy to positive results. On our Wise Walk, we discuss how your positive words attract positive results. You deserve to honor what you know to be true for yourself without feeling pressured to pacify others. Come with me as we reflect on these Wise Walk questions: How are you using words to attract what you are seeking right now? Do you find yourself in a negative headspace where you say things you don't want but are attracting them? Are you able to shift your energy into the positive and affirm what you do want? Are you taking time to acknowledge the internal beliefs you hold about what's acceptable in your life? As you reflect on this past week, how many times have you agreed to do something to humor someone even when it didn't feel aligned for you? As you did that thing, what did your heart say to you and how did you feel? Is that a feeling you want to keep attracting in your life? What was your big takeaway from living in this unaligned situation? I invite you to think about your words and what signals they're sending out. Think of how the universe is receiving and interpreting what you share. Positively attract all the good that's already seeking you. Create more space for your intuition with these Wise Walk questions: Where can you create more space for you to honor your intuition? How can you step into your authentic power to affirm and encourage what you do want to see in life? Where are we putting our energy? How can we bring our most important intentions to the forefront of our focus? What are you looking forward to the most and how can you clearly articulate that for manifestation? What positive words support the positive changes you seek? Can you share your positive intentions with the support system around you? Join this inspiring community to uncover a new sense of freedom, and be sure to follow and review the True Stride podcast as we continue to exchange our light and Heart Value with each other. Have you heard of not using the word no with your littles? Did that sound crazy to you? Because it did to me…… until this episode! I learned the brain work behind it and how it actually helps gain our littles cooperation. I used to think we would be raising brats by not saying no do them or using these “negative” words. But it is not only with our littles that we can improve cooperation and listening, even in our other relationships this will help. I know it may seem difficult but the first step is NOTICING. So we want you to atleast start noticing and paying attention to the times you do say “no” or “don't do this.”Then to learn how to change it we give you the tool of giving information so you know what to say next.Instead of “DON'T LEAVE YOUR SHOES HERE, PICK THEM UPAND PUT THEM AWAY!”You can try “I see some shoes in the entrance.” This will work when your child knows what is expected so those boundaries should be set first so when you say this they can, with more willingness, go put their shoes away.It is pretty magical and will help connect you as well when you can learn how to speak to each other in this way.Goodluck and go try it out!Support the showPlease share and tag us on our platforms below if you enjoyed this episode!Instagram: The Nurturing ParentFacebook Page: The Nurturing ParentEmail Us: TheNurturingparent.Pod@gmail.comOriginal music ©Lisa K Sigurgeirson 1986

They would self-destruct. They would find a reason to destroy themselves or go jump into something else. And I can see it now. As long as you're willing to stay the course of something and master it, you know, you cannot become the elite, the top 1 percent of something if you don't you don't work on that craft and you don't you're not in it long enough. I never know when it's sore. But right now, I'm having a great time because I was able to pay early on. Yep. So that I can now enjoy a little bit of this this wild ride we get to experience the world of."[00:21:55] "And I remember at the end of that book, man, when it when it showed that that that depiction of him on that that edge of the edge of the cliff and he started talking to the wind and he started talking to the sun and then he turns and then he talks to the creator. And then he realized at that point that he actually had the creator inside him the whole time and that we are magical beings and we have the creator inside us and we can create anything that we want."[00:22:30] "And at that point, my whole reality shifted. And I was like, man, I can manifest anything I want because I have the creator. I have this power within me and I need to spread this light."[00:22:44] "And so it definitely shifted the way the world of possibilities and my ability to dream and create."[00:22:52] "And as well, it just got me to understand that everyone has this personal legend. And if you're not on the path of this of your personal legend, and you don't see these omens hitting you because as it talks about in the story, he's seeing these omens too to let him know that he's on the right path."[00:23:17] "Your soul is a part of the creator. They most definitely do."[00:24:27] "It's so important to be aware of how we're showing up. You definitely know how to show up because that's why we're having a conversation right now and we're buddies now, man."[00:25:04] "Some people say they want shit, but they don't really want it. And that's why they don't get it."[00:25:46] "You got to really ask yourself whatever you're wanting in this life, whatever your goals are, your targets, like, do you really want it? Does it burn to the point where you get so emotional because if you do, if you put that feeling into it and you get behind it with actions daily and consistency, the universe is going to help you get it. It's just a matter of time."[00:26:23] "I find myself emotional in those states. I find myself going back to live in Miami here. So we had beautiful landscapes all over the place to catch a sunrise and walk."[00:26:40] "But sometimes I've been emotional on that walk because I I have worked through some shit on that bridge. I've worked through some shit on that beach and being able to to see how far I've been able to to come from where it used to be and be."[00:26:57] "Don't ever forget where you came from. That's not just a neighborhood. That's not just a city. That's like where were you emotionally when you got on this on this adventure to become the best version of yourself."[00:27:36] "My boy Gary Vee has said that for the past decade. Everybody wants it. Nobody wants to work for it."[00:27:44] "You can't fake pushups. It's another famous, you know, the famous quote from."[00:28:23] "We got into a space where others, when we started in the space, you know, they were like, are you crazy? You're coming into the roofing space in the hottest area in the country, and you think you're gonna be able to compete with all these other national roofing companies and we're like, hold my beer. Right?"[00:28:42] "We came from building a multibillion dollar business already. That's what people don't realize."[00:29:34] "We help homeowners do the insurance claims process, and we're able to put their home back to pre storm conditions, and we don't just do roofs."[00:29:48] "We wanted to get into the arena where, you know, when a hailstorm comes through or or a hurricane comes through, we can restore the entire property."[00:30:01] "We would meet adjusters on-site, make sure, you know, at these million dollar properties, that everything that a homeowner had on this property was getting accounted for by the insurance company."[00:30:41] "If we knew we could come in with that type of business acumen, we didn't know roofing, but we knew how to take care of customers. We knew how to sell. We knew how to build value. We knew how to deliver excellent customer service. And if we just did what we said we were going to do, we were already going to separate ourselves."[00:31:08] "We use social media to our advantage. And what happened is we would bring people in, we would get them winning at such a high level to where we took guys from the fitness industry that were making a hundred k a year all of a sudden, they're making 4 or 500 k a year."[00:31:35] "We actually have this thing trademarked. It's bought. By our platform. I mean, it's bought. Right? So we take pride in that because in the roofing space, when a storm comes through, homeowners get knocked on their door by all these different types of roofing companies and they're pitching all these different things. You know, what is truly making you different. You gotta have certain separators."[00:31:56] "Being able to teach our guys what makes us not the same. The fact that we are a plus rated. The fact that we were voted the elite contractor of the year. The fact that we're now on the cover of the biggest roofing magazine actually this month. Roofing contractor magazine. We're on the cover. Right. We're on an HGTV show. Like, there's not many."[00:32:20] "If I was getting my open heart surgery and I was getting cut open on the table and I know I just have to pay a deductible and a surgeon's gonna perform on me. Am I gonna go to the surgeon who just got out of college who basically doesn't have many surgeries performed? Or I'm not gonna go with the guy with all the credentials with 20 years of experience and has all the accolades. I'm gonna go with that guy because my life's on the line."[00:29:57] "We got very good at getting all the credentials we needed, separating ourselves, recruiting high level talent, and then we blew this thing up."[00:33:34] "When you think about companies like Brink's ADT, you know, Apple, you know, big companies in their industry. You know, a lot of them didn't get there by just hiring people internally. They get there a lot of times by acquiring other businesses, bringing them in and making them a part of theirs. That's how you grow very fast. So that's what we're doing now."[00:33:55] "There's not a lot of platforms backed by private equity that are purchasing and acquiring companies to scale at that level because ultimately what's gonna happen is insurance carriers are gonna wanna work directly with these type platforms. Because now we can help."[00:34:45] "You wanna win. You gotta get around winners. You gotta make sure you're in the right room with people winning and also make sure you're not the richest and smartest guy in the room. And when I get in the linear room, I'm definitely not here, which In which I'm real grateful for."[00:34:57] "Tony Man has been so great to hang out with you for a few minutes here, man, and get to know you. I appreciate you carving some time. Out of your day to to to have a conversation with me and I just wish you guys nothing but the best."[00:34:15] "Most roofing companies are just local. They're just in 1 little city, so they can't tie in to an insurance carrier like a chubb. So this thing is about to get way bigger than we could have even imagined. I love it. I absolutely love it. I'm so encouraged by you guys' story and I, you know, being associated with you guys. I mean, I just, you know, I know who Kurt is. We haven't had a chance yet to get him on the show, we're gonna make that happen, of course."[00:35:25] "You know, not only have we now grown this business, but I also, you know, was able to take off in bodybuilding. In the last couple of years. You know, I won the overall. So as we were growing this business, as I was able to go on HGTV, I was able to win the overall universe turn pro, you know, people don't actually know this story. I know that this podcast is about storytelling, so I'll be quick about this 1."[00:35:54] "I had a hole in my stomach. Most people don't know that."[00:36:10] "After that, I became an Olympian. I was invited to the Arnold by Arnold Swartz and Nager, so I competed in the 2 largest shows on Earth, and won the Dallas Europa."[00:36:26] "My goal is to have 1 of the largest shows in the world to get back to athletes because I know that it takes extreme discipline and consistency and the traits that you have in bodybuilding, if you can put those into your business, which that's what I've done."[00:36:41] "Put some of that discipline and consistency and what I've learned in bodybuilding into business, you can be ultimately very successful."TopicsThe Inspirational Influence of Eric Thomas (the hip hop preacher)Success in Business: The Story of Tony Newton and Insurance RestorationOvercoming Adversity: The Story of the "Goat"The Negative Impact of Having a Single-Minded Focus on Life Goalsfollowing your passion: the story of a college dropout's journey to the top of the fitness industryfrom his brother. The Value of "Staying the Course" and "Trust the Process"The Impact of Appearing on a National Television ShowThe Power of Positive Words and How They Impact PeopleAre you willing to do everything you can to get it?The Importance of Investing Hard Work to Achieve Success"Scaling a Multibillion Dollar Business in Homeowner Insurance Claims"The Benefits of Using Social Media to Grow a BusinessFriendship and WinningThe Inspirational Journey of Tony X: How He Helped People Find PurposeEpisode LinksConnect with Sebastian Rusk:Beyond The Story PodcastInstagramFacebookConnect with Tony TaverasLinkedInInstagramCall to ActionIf you enjoyed this podcast and want to support us, please subscribe on the platform you listen to podcasts from, leave a review and share with your friends. We are living in a time in the world where many strange things are occurring, like never before in history. It can be easy for Christians to gather together and end up talking about everything the devil has been doing, instead of focusing on what God is doing. Our time together as Christian believers is crucial, and we must use it to edify one another and glorify God. This past week after getting off the phone with someone where we discussed some of the negative things happening in the world right now, I was reminded of the passage Philippians 4:8. Open there now and listen in on how we can use positive words and a positive mind to keep ourselves renewed.

We have been talking over the past weeks about sins of the tongue. Today we look at another aspect of the use of the tongue and that is the creative use of the tongue, and we asked, what does the Bible say about it? Our proof scripture? For today's discussion is Proverbs 18:21. It says death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Well now let's think about this. Root comes from seed, the power of the tongue is to produce seed and the seed produced by the power of the tongue, are your words particularly words that you put Faith in whether - Faith or positive faith. If you speak fear, which is nothing more than faith in the - that empowers, the power of death over your life, death to relationships, death, two, marriages death to employment, death to your business.Listen for more...Scripture referenced:Proverbs 18:21, 23:7James 1:6-7, 3:10Matthew 12:34-35, 15:11-19Luke 6:45, 7:14Romans 8:1John 5:8, 14:12-14, 6:63Mark 3:5, 5:41, 11:23-24For more Free books, Sunday teachings and bible studies, please visit us at: https://www.walkinginpower.orgDr. Bern Zumpano is a Pastor and Teacher of the Word of God who has authored several books on Spirit-filled living through relationship with Jesus Christ and walking in the Power of the Holy Spirit. This episode was inspired by an Instagram DM I received 2 weeks ago asking me, “How do I stay so positive?” It's taken me 2 weeks to ask myself questions like… “What is it?” “What do I choose to do that keeps me choosing greater even when it feels like the world is falling down?” After 2 weeks I got the awareness of the overall umbrella of what it is…a continued obsession with education and investing in ME! In this episode I share how I invest in me first. I share how much I have invested over the years in me, my body, my mind and my education. Every penny was worth it and it saved my life! IN THIS EPISODE, I TALK ABOUT:The difference between college and education. How education saved my life! The difference between an investment and a cost.If you loved this episode, it would mean the world to me if you SUBSCRIBED to the podcast on your favorite podcast app and give it a 5 star review. We are talking about The Power of Words and how it affects our energies more than we might think. As a bonus, Sissel has prepared some affirmations for you who might struggle with a certain tough internal dialogue. Enjoy!
Our words have the power to change mindsets which in turn affect behavior. "A single word has power to influence the expression of genes that regulate physical and emotional stress." That is from the book, Words Can Change Your Brain, by Dr. Andrew Newberg and Mark Robert Waldman. We want to help students change the way they think so that they can do their best in school and be their best always. It starts with positive words! Pastor Harris teaches from the story of David Ben Jesse and Goliath of Gath and how David was motivated by the Holy Spirit and uses positive words that align with God's will to defeat the giant. David uses the ABC's of faith. David takes ACTION, he BELIEVED because he had CONFIDENCE.In the story, David takes his rod in his hand and goes to the brooke and collects his five flat stones. There is an interesting fact pointed out in the introduction to this message that Rabbi's believe that the staff of Moses was passed down to Joshua and then passed down to Samual; he gave it to David when he anointed him.We are in war, this life of ours is in a war, a spiritual war, and whether we win or whether we lose is in the power of our words. Guard your words.

Have we given thought to how powerful our words can be to someone? They can either build someone up or can tear someone down. Let's examine Scripture as well as a recent movie about Mr. Rogers to focus on saying what God wants us to share with others! Our challenge also will be focused on a saying by missionary, Amy Carmichael, that will give us a guideline if what we want to say to others is worth saying at all!
