Do You Believe that “He {God} gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life”? MESSAGE SUMMARY:  You have got to believe; but until you get your thinking right, your life will not change – you have got to believe! It is hard for some people, today, to believe in the miraculous birth of Jesus celebrated on Christmas day. Ok, just start where you are in what you believe. Can you believe that you are a sinner? Can you believe that you are not perfect? Can you believe that you have violated God's laws? Despite this life background, can you believe that God loves you just as you now are? Can you believe that God sent His Only Son, Jesus, to save all that believe in Him so that you would not perish but have eternal life? Maybe this is where you start in believing in the miraculous birth of Jesus; you need to start where you are. Jesus' life was defined by His death on the cross and by His resurrection, thereby, living up to the translation of His name, Jesus – “Salvation”. The Apostle John succinctly summarized the purpose of Jesus birth in John3:16-17: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.".   TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, fill me with the simple trust that even out of the most awful evil around me, you are able to bring great good — for me, for others, and for your great glory. In Jesus' name, amen.     Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 91). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that because I am in Jesus Christ, I will seek God's perspective on my situation. For I know that in all things God works together for good to those of us who love Him and are called according to His purpose. From Romans 8:28 SCRIPTURE REFERENCE (ESV): John 1:1-18; Luke 1:27-38; Luke 2:1-22; John 20:27-29; Psalms 69b:13-24. A WORD FROM THE LORD WEBSITE: www.AWFTL.org. “King of Kings” animated film makes $65 million, Tentative trade agreement between China and America, United Kingdom's disturbing euthanasia bill

It's Tuesday, May 13th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Four Christian families evicted in Laos Four Christian families have lost their homes, after being evicted from their village in north-western Laos a week ago.  They were forced to leave their possessions behind, and leave their home in the Luang Namtha province in northern Laos, near the border of Thailand.   BarnabasAid.org has provided funds to cover the believers' immediate needs for rice, cooking oil, hygiene products, and other essentials. United Kingdom's disturbing euthanasia bill The United Kingdom House of Commons is considering a euthanasia bill.   A rather macabre government appraisal has estimated a cost savings of 59.6 million pounds for the killing of 1,000 and 4,500 people per year. The government report also noted other cost savings from the “social care sector and in social security payments.” The bill would allow the killing of a person whom doctors prophesy to only have six months or less to live. Deuteronomy 27:25 speaks to this when the leaders of Israel said, “Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!'” Christian clerk, who refused to certify homosexual “marriage,” goes before Supremes Liberty Counsel, a Christian legal advocacy group, will be appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court for Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis of Rowan County. She is arguing that the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment protects her from liability and damages for refusing to issue a “same-sex marriage” license against her religious beliefs. Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver said that the case “underscores why the U.S. Supreme Court should overturn Obergefell v. Hodges because that decision threatens the religious liberty of many Americans who believe that marriage is a sacred institution between one man and one woman.” Closer to nuclear war today The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists has moved the Doomsday Clock to 89 seconds before midnight. The clock, which estimates the risks of nuclear war, has been in operation for 70 years.   During the Cuban Missile Crisis, the clock moved to 7 minutes to midnight. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the clock moved to 17 minutes. The clock moved to 2 minutes in 2018, and now 89 seconds to midnight in 2025. The organization attributes “profound global instability and geopolitical tension” to the moving of the needle. “King of Kings” animated film makes $65 million The Mormon-owned Angel Studios has succeeded again — with the film “King of Kings,” an animated story of a little boy who takes a journey through events in the life of Jesus. (audio clip of trailer) FATHER: “Our story begins 2,000 years ago, when baby Jesus came into the world.” SON: “Wait, wait, stop. If it's not about a king, then I'm not interested!” FATHER: “This story is about the King of kings.” SON: “Wow!” FATHER: “It has angels and wicked kings and miracles.” SON: “Look at all the fish.” FATHER: “Oh, so you want to hear the story now?” SON: “Uh-huh!” So far, the film has collected $65 million at the box office. That exceeds the Angel Studios' previous box office total of $14 million for the film, “His Only Son” on Abraham's trek to Mount Moriah. Last year's film, “Cabrini,” produced by Angel Studios, was a treatment of the Roman Catholic saint by the name of Maria Francesca Cabrini who established 67 schools and orphanages in New York City in the late 1800s for poor, Italian immigrants. This production earned $21 million at the box office. The Mormon-owned studio's top box office hit was “The Sound of Freedom,” earning $251 million in 2023 — a film on the subject of sex trafficking. The Chief Executive Officer of Angel Studios is Neal Harmon, a Mormon. Tentative trade agreement between China and America U.S. President Donald Trump announced Monday a temporary China-US trade agreement, which would cut U.S. tariffs on Chinese imports from 145% to 30%. China would cut their tariffs on U.S. imports from 125% to 10%. TRUMP: “Yesterday, we achieved a total reset with China. After productive talks in Geneva, both sides now agree to reduce the tariffs imposed after April 2nd to 10% for 90 days as negotiators continue in the largest structural issues. “That doesn't include the tariffs that are already on, that are our tariffs, and it doesn't include tariffs on cars, steel, aluminum, or tariffs that may be imposed on pharmaceuticals because we want to bring the pharmaceutical businesses back to the United States. They're already starting to come back now, based on tariffs, because they don't want to pay 25%, 50%, or 100% tariffs. So, they're moving them back to the United States. “The talks in Geneva were very friendly. The relationship is very good. We're not looking to hurt China. China was being hurt very badly. They were closing up factories. They were having a lot of unrest, and they were very happy to be able to do something with us. The relationship is very, very good. I'll speak to President Xi maybe at the end of the week.” The deal will operate during a trial period of 90 days. U.S. government debt spirals higher The U.S. government is still on a big spending spree. The U.S. Treasury records a $1.049 trillion budget deficit for the first seven months of fiscal 2025. That's up 23% over a year earlier. Social Security spending is up 9% year-over-year. Outlays reached a record number of $4.159 trillion for the year to date. Gutsy GOP Congresswoman wants to defund Planned Parenthood And finally, Breitbart News reports that Republican Congresswoman Mary Miller of Illinois is behind a move to defund Planned Parenthood's abortion funding through the budget reconciliation process. Miller noted that “abortions made up 97.1% of Planned Parenthood's pregnancy services from 2021-2022, performing nearly 400,000 abortions.” The House Committee on Energy and Commerce released a portion of the proposed bill on Monday, with the provision to strip abortion providers of funding.   Mary Miller is a homeschooling mom of seven and grandmother of 20, hailing from the state of Illinois. Proverbs 24:11-12 reminds us, “Deliver those who are drawn toward death, and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, ‘Surely we did not know this,' does not He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?” Close And that's The Worldview on this Tuesday, May 13th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Subscribe for free by Spotify, Amazon Music or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com. Matthew 21 When they had approached Jerusalem and had come to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus then sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a colt with it. Untie them and bring them to Me. 3 And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,' and he will send them on immediately.” 4 Now this took place so that what was spoken through the prophet would be fulfilled: 5 “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold your King is coming to you, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.'”   Shameless plug for swag for our listeners/donors! https://www.redpillprints.com/stand-up-for-the-truth - Thanks for YOUR Support!

David Helling has made it his life's mission to bring Scripture's Truth from the page to the screen. This endeavor has resulted in many short films and scripts, garnering numerous awards, accolades and international attention– all which now culminate in his debut feature film, His Only Son. David grew up in Southern Louisiana but spent the bulk of his teens in Texas. Upon graduating high school, David shipped to California for a five-year-stint in the United States Marine Corps– a commitment which eventually took him to the sands of Al-Anbar Province in Iraq. There in the desert, near the edge of ancient Babylon, in a combat zone, another battle was raging in David himself– a war within that eventually drove to the Bible. The result was a transformed heart, sincere faith and a burning desire to tell others of those Biblical accounts. Here is what David had to say about this movie: “The account at the core of His Only Son is one of the most controversial narratives in all Scripture. You would be hard-pressed to find another passage so scrutinized, scoffed at or misunderstood as the twenty-second chapter of the book of Genesis. With this film, I endeavor to answer the critics as well as the confused by exploring the meaning and purpose of God's testing of Abraham, when He asked him to do the unthinkable 4,000 years ago. I look to shine a light on the plan the Lord had in place from the beginning, His promise of redemption and the part Abraham's walk of faith so boldly played.  For us now, the days seem darker than many of us can remember, and at a time when humanity is so downcast, we are in dire need of inspiration to lift us up again. May this film serve as a reminder that in the hard times, in the hurt, in the sadness and in the loss, there is a plan, and there is a purpose for it all. Personally, the last five years of working on this film have been the most trying and heart-wrenching of my life, but I pray, like me, you find encouragement in the testimony of Abraham. His faith was tested. Our hope was born.” HIS ONLY SON is a cinematic exploration of the story of Abraham, as his faith is tested on his three-day journey to sacrifice his son. The film is a quiet exploration of the scripture, ultimately challenging the viewer to examine their own commitment to hearing and obeying God's voice. The film stars Nicolas Mouawad as Abraham (Khtarab El Hay, Ruby), and Sara Seyed as Sarah (Black Warrant). On the show, we chat about how God is always with us during our darkest days (just as He was with Abraham). David shares some of the struggles he experienced as he pursued this mission to share the Good News via putting Biblical Truths to the big screen. The movie which debuted this past Easter weekend was a blockbuster surprise hit! Please support David's endeavors by now renting or buying this film. Today on the podcast I'm thrilled to introduce you to writer/director David Helling. David wrote and directed the recently released to theaters movie His Only Son. We had a great conversation about his journey into film making and I asked why he wanted to share this story of when God asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, David said when he lived in San Fransisco while attending film school that time and time again this story would be a point of contention. Not only did he see non-believers have an issue with this passage, but he also saw believers not knowing how to answer it. The movie beautifully shares Abraham and Sara's struggle through the years of longing for a son as Abraham and Isaac make the three-day journey to Mount Moriah. His only Son received a 72% rating from the Angel Guild-- the group of over 64,000 Angel Studio crowd funders who review and greenlight creator projects. This is one of the highest scores ever given. David is a U.S. Marine corp. veteran whose time in the deserts of Iraq was the impetus for the film. He shares in this interview how he'd have to spend nights in the desert near where the biblical story of Daniel took place and the effect that had on him and his relationship with God and His word. I found David to be a genuine person who loves the Lord and wants to lead others to read and study the scriptures for themselves, so they'll grow in their relationship with Christ too. I know you're going to enjoy getting to know the man behind the movie.

Therefore I beg you to listen to me patiently. 4 “My manner of life from my youth, spent from the beginning among my own nation and in Jerusalem, is known by all the Jews. 5 They have known for a long time, if they are willing to testify, that according to the strictest party of our religion I have lived as a Pharisee. 6 And now I stand here on trial because of my hope in the promise made by God to our fathers, 7 to which our twelve tribes hope to attain, as they earnestly worship night and day. And for this hope I am accused by Jews, O king! 8 Why is it thought incredible by any of you that God raises the dead? 9 “I myself was convinced that I ought to do many things in opposing the name of Jesus of Nazareth. 10 And I did so in Jerusalem. I not only locked up many of the saints in prison after receiving authority from the chief priests, but when they were put to death I cast my vote against them. 11 And I punished them often in all the synagogues and tried to make them blaspheme, and in raging fury against them I persecuted them even to foreign cities. Paul Tells of His Conversion 12 “In this connection I journeyed to Damascus with the authority and commission of the chief priests. 13 At midday, O king, I saw on the way a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, that shone around me and those who journeyed with me. 14 And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.' 15 And I said, ‘Who are you, Lord?' And the Lord said, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. 16 But rise and stand upon your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and witness to the things in which you have seen me and to those in which I will appear to you, 17 delivering you from your people and from the Gentiles—to whom I am sending you 18 to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.' ------------------ 5 Core Values of SWAT 1. God gave His ONLY Son, so that In Him and through Him WE WOULD BE SAVED. Not because of anything that we did, not because we deserved or earned it but because HE LOVED US FIRST & because of His grace and mercy. (Titus 3:5) ☀️Christ went and died for our sins, was buried, so that He was raised on the 3rd day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) so that we may live in righteousness and no longer be slaves to sin. It's impossible to remain the same after knowing the truth—because He came to save us completely, not half way (Hebrews 7:25). ☀️Just like the children then, we're reminded of this day and are “cut at heart” they're question then was: WHAT SHALL WE DO? But Now the true question is: WHAT WILL WE DO? After knowing the TRUTH!Peter said it simply: if you're cut at heart about this…..Repent and be baptized!(Acts 2:36-38). ☀️Don't crucify the Son of God all over again and subject him to public disgrace by remaining the same—as if what He went to the cross for meant nothing. But embrace this day as an inheritance to BE SAVED + RENEWED. (Hebrews 6:4-6 | 1 Corinthians 15:16-17) - Let's talk about this episode at thebeingofher | Facebook | The Being of Her. Christians around the world are celebrating one of the holiest, if not the holiest, times of year for believers -- Easter -- which recognizes the sacrifices of Jesus Christ on the cross, when he died for all of humanity's sins and then was resurrected three days later. But even for steadfast believers there are certain stories in the Bible the prove a challenge to faith. One of them is the Genesis account of God telling Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac. At the last second, God stayed his command and prevented Abraham from inflicting the fatal stab. But Christians nonetheless wonder: Why did God order Abraham to sacrifice his son, anyway? Isn't that evidence of God's cruelty? And for the non-believer, this biblical story has historically proven a sticking point. Now comes a new movie about just this story to show a) God is not cruel and b) God loves his creations and would never harm them. David Helling discusses "His Only Son," a movie in nearly 2,000 theaters in America about the famous Genesis story.

Is anyone else standing on a promise God has spoken over them? I recently saw ‘His Only Son' and it sparked a renewed hope and enthusiasm for standing on and waiting for the authentic promise God has given me over two years ago! Whether you're believing to be healed from a sickness or addiction, believing for a mate, or something else…God longs to fulfill His promises to you and give you the desires of your heart. But after long periods of not seeing anything come to pass, it can be discouraging and we sometimes find ourselves like the paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda. What can we learn about our own trials, our own suffering, our own need to persevere and perhaps even lift up a sacrifice from the new feature film coming out right now, His Only Son? That's the topic we're going to address today on Flourish-Meant in this. Easter episode. Flourish-Meant is sponsored by Access More. Today I have with me an award-winning director, David Helling. He was a Marine for five years, which sent him into the desert, and there's through some battling even within himself, he discovered that his calling was to help bring scripture. From the page to the screen,  and he's here to talk to us today about his new film, His Only Son. Welcome David. I am so pleased to have you on Flourish-Meant. David:  I'm looking forward to talking about just what the Lord did in the life of Abraham and what he's been doing in, in this. Tina: Tell us a little bit about that personal journey that you went through when you were a Marine and you went through this war inside that brought you to know more of who God is in your life and more desire to delve into scripture and then share it with the world. David: Yeah, well, you gave the summary of it and really it was during my time as a Marine in Iraq. I grew up in a Christian home and asked Jesus into my heart when I was eight years old at church camp. But really I was just kind of living morally for moral's sake Whenever I went to Iraq, by God's grace, I had taken my Bible with me. And I just got really convicted. It was over there primarily. My team was holed up in one of Saddam Hussein's old missile bunkers in Al Ambar province near the town of Hoban, right on the edge of ancient Babylon. The Lord really began to work in my heart through those long and lonely nights and show me my sin and showed me just how deep it actually ran and that even though I confessed to be a Christian, I had no desire to read his word. And I got really convicted about that. And so I started reading the Bible. And as I started reading the Bible, I actually started in First Samuel. Cause I didn't even know where to start. I thought, well, my name is David. I'll start with the life of David. And so through going through his life and cross-referencing to the gospels, to the epistles, to the Psalms, just seeing the depth of my own sin and the heights of his grace and the gospel came alive to me and it was like, wait, did I ever get it before? Did I ever really understand what it meant that Jesus died for my sins? That God's standard is holy, but we all fall short of that standard, so the Lord himself came and met that standard in his son Jesus Christ. And through that perfect life, in spite of that perfect life, he was put to death anyway, the just for the unjust. And he atoned for the punishment that we were due. He died the death that we deserve, and he conquered death for all those who believe. Our eternal life with him is by faith in his finished work alone. And all that came alive to me. And not only that, but the people in scripture came alive to me as well. It was no longer letters on a page. It was people in real life. From that moment I had a strong desire to, show people what I was seeing when I read the Bible and to illustrate these accounts we find in in history to show that these are real people. When you paint that vividly and you see them as real, that's a proper hermeneutic. Hermeneutics is how you study the Bible, and a proper hermeneutic is you start with the text. Who was the writer? Who was the audience? What did the word mean to these people in that time? Then once you have that fleshed out, then you see the true meaning of the text. Then from that point, you see how it applies to you.  There's a lot of scripture in the film, but this is a tool, which the homiletics is preaching essentially. And I mean, just a pastor would prepare a sermon and you dig from the text and then you set the context in the world so that people better understand the text of scripture. That's what I'm trying to do with this film. Not everything in the film is scripture, so lemme be clear about that. So this isn't supposed to be a replacement for scripture at all. This is not, you don't go see this movie and think you got your Bible time in for the day. You want to go home and dig into the word. But I know there are many things in this film that are touching on, not only with Abraham's trial and his testing of faith, but for the first time ever, I think there is a richness that is given to Sarah's struggle with infertility and as she works her way to the birth of Isaac . That will resonate differently than, Abraham's story will resonate with people. And so the Lord will use it just like our own testimonies, right? We bear witness of how the Lord has brought us from death to life. And there's different parts of our testimony that the Lord will use in shining that light or sparking that spark in people's lives. So yes, so I can see the film being used in that regard, and I think it already, As far as local churches going to see this film and giving talking points, especially even now during Easter, because you know so many of us, we like to invite our lost friends and family to church on Easter. But there are those that won't even go to church on Easter, but they'll go see a movie. And so what that'll do is you're able to then have those discussions with your lost friends and family and, and be able to talk about what the Lord was doing in Abraham's life and, and what that means for us today. It's not for entertainment primarily, it's for eternal. The Lord's perfect timing in having it come out right now, in Easter. I was actually praying for an Easter release. If you haven't entered into that relationship with Christ, if you're not covered by his righteousness, by his finished work, and you know that you can't cut it, you can't do it. So the Lord himself did it. Christ did it. He lived the perfect life. He went and died to death that you rightly deserve. And in the proof that atoning work was sufficient before the father is, he's risen from the grave. And so all we need to do is put our faith in that. And what we put our faith in that, yes, his work is finished. I now can stand before the Lord, before the throne blameless because it's his righteousness that covers me. When you put your faith in that. Then we love him and if we love him, then we keep his commandments. We are saved to good works. We are not saved by good works. You wanna be careful you don't flip down on its head. So if you haven't put your faith in Christ, then do that now. This life is hard and it's difficult. We have to consider the amount of affliction that Christ, the only innocent one went through. Otherwise, we become weary in our own affliction. We're called to do hard things and in the hard things we see that Christ's Grace is sufficient. His strength is made perfect in our weakness.  Tina: So how can people access all the resources available along with the movie and how can they find theaters to invite their friends and family members and their church community to go visit those theaters to see the movie this weekend? David: If you go to angel.com/son, you can get your tickets there. You type in your zip code, it'll show you where it's playing near you, and. It's cool because Angel Studios actually came up with brand-new technology. Technology that they've been using for The Chosen to get The Chosen out to over a hundred million people around the world for free. Their pay-it-forward model that people pay for The Chosen so that it stays free for other people that can't afford it. I know it's a hard time economically for all of us, including me. There are many families that can't afford to go to the movies ever. And I think the last time I checked as of yesterday, there had been, already 16,000 tickets that have been purchased through Pay it Forward so that people can take their families to go and see His Only Son in theaters if they can't even afford it. And so if you wanna get tickets or pay it forward for others so that others that can't afford it can go see it in Easter, you go to angel.com.  I think there are resources for churches and things like that at hisonlysonmovie.com. You might be able to see that also on angel.com/son.

It's Tuesday, April 4th, A.D. 2023. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus.  (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson The persecuted “Mayflower Church” of China They call themselves the Mayflower Church.  First, members of Shenzhen Holy Reformed Church in China left their homeland in 2019.  Then, they tried unsuccessfully to get asylum in South Korea. And now, as of March 30th, they have been stymied in Thailand, reports ChinaAid. Evidently, China is putting pressure on Thailand to return the 63 members of the church to the communist country. Christianity Today reported that the congregation noticed one member acting strangely last week.  He admitted that he had compromised the group's location with China's state security.  He was subsequently escorted away by Chinese operatives, without his wife and daughter, and has not been seen since. The rest of the group is presently under arrest in a police station near Bangkok.   Mongolian Christians imprisoned for selling Bibles Nine Christians have been in prison in Inner Mongolia for almost two years now on charges of selling Bibles, reports Bitter Winter Magazine. Their trial will take place in April. A 66-year-old woman, named Wong Honglan, is facing a 15-year prison sentence. She's been a Christian for 42 years. According to China Aid, these church members have “held a morning prayer meeting every day at 6:00am. The morning prayer meeting never stopped for a single day, regardless of any weather conditions.” Tornadoes kill 32 people across 8 states In the providence of God, dozens of violent tornadoes have resulted in at least 32 fatalities over the weekend in Tennessee, Arkansas, Illinois, Delaware, Indiana, Alabama, and Mississippi, reports ABC News. This is in addition to the 26 people killed in the Mississippi and Alabama tornadoes just 10 days ago. So far, there have been 63 deaths caused by tornadoes in the U.S. this year. That compares to a total of 23 deaths for all of 2022, 103 deaths in 2021, and 76 deaths in 2020.  Trump to be arraigned in New York court today The former president of the United States, Donald Trump, is expected to be arraigned in a Manhattan New York courtroom this morning, on 34 felony charges, reports The Independent. Trump flew into New York from Florida yesterday.  What may be most troubling for Trump is the threat of a gag order following the first hearing. The Daily Mail claimed sources that have revealed the judge in the case might place a gag order as part of the trial proceedings.  If Trump breaks an imposed gag order, he risks a $1,000 fine and as much as 30 days in prison under New York law.   The charges in the case relate to alleged payoffs made to a Proverbs 7-type woman. On Monday, the former president noted on Truth Social that “The Corrupt D.A. has no case. What he does have is a venue where it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to get a Fair Trial … [with] a Trump-Hating Judge, hand selected by the Soros-backed D.A.” 76% of Americans think Trump charges are political A recent CNN poll found that 76% of Americans believe the charges are politically-motivated while still 60% approve of the indictments.  However, Trump has only increased in popularity among Republican voters of late.  Now, a Yahoo News/YouGov Survey found that Trump was leading Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis by 26 percentage points (57% to 31%). That's quite an improvement from two weeks ago when he was only leading by 8 percentage points.  And, back in February, he trailed the Florida governor 45% to 41%. But let us keep in mind the wise counsel of Psalm 75:7and 8.  “God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another.  For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red. It is fully mixed, and He pours it out; Surely, the wicked of the earth will drink it down to its very dregs.” 6-year-old shoots teacher Violence in the classrooms has spread to 6-year-olds now.   A 6-year-old child deliberately shot his teacher in the chest at an elementary school in Newport News, Virginia a month ago. And now, the teacher, Abby Zwerner, will be suing the school administration for $40 million, reports the Associated Press. "His Only Son" Biblical film took third place And finally, a just-released Biblical film tells the dramatized story of Abraham's faith test when called to sacrifice his son to God on Mount Moriah. The movie called “His Only Son” came in at third place on the U.S. Box Office reports over the weekend, taking in $5.5 million.  Watch the trailer through a special link in our transcript today. The other Christian movie on the silver screen, “Jesus Revolution,” held out at 10th place over the weekend, having taken in $51 million in box office receipts, reports BoxOfficeMojo. Let's remember today, that God gave His Son for us, as a sacrifice for our sins. John 3:16 declares, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Close And that's The Worldview in 5 Minutes on this Tuesday, April 4th in the year of our Lord 2023. Subscribe by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com. “After these things God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here am I.” He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Mori′ah, and offer him there as a burnt offering upon one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” It is one of the most controversial moments in all Scripture, when the Lord tested Abraham by commanding him to take his son, his only son, and sacrifice him on the mountain of Moriah. Episode 224 is with David Helling - Director of the new film "His Only Son."It is one of the most controversial moments in all Scripture-- when the Lord God tested Abraham by commanding him to take his son, his only son, and sacrifice him on the mountain of Moriah. This feature film illustrates that striking account, following Abraham, his son and their two servants as they journey for three days to the place of the offering. Along the way, the men encounter dangers and trials as Abraham silently relives memories spanning the decades he and his wife, Sarah, longed for the son God had promised… the son he must now lay upon the altar. Answering age-old questions as to why the Lord would require such a sacrifice, His Only Son profoundly explores mankind's relationship to God and encourages viewers to turn inward and ask: Can your faith still stand when you are asked to give everything?David Helling grew up in Southern Louisiana but spent the bulk of his teens in Texas. Since then, David has made it his life's mission to bring Scripture's Truth from the page to the screen. This endeavor has resulted in many short films and scripts, garnering numerous awards, accolades and international attention– all which now culminate in his debut feature film, His Only Son.https://HisOnlySonMovie.com
