Yes.But that's because there wasn't much bloody transforming to do!I know you've spent this episode trying to convince everyone that GoBots deserve another chance, Dange, but I'm not buying it.For me... Front Row Classics is celebrating one of television's greatest shows. Brandon welcomes writer/producer Marc Scott Zicree to discuss his third edition of "The Twilight Zone Companion". Brandon and Marc chat about the show's origins and Rod Serling's impact on popular culture. They also discuss some of the most memorable episodes along with Marc's journey through researching the show. Marc Scott Zicree has written and produced hundreds of hours of TV for most of the major studios and networks. His credits include Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Babylon 5, Sliders, Friday the 13th: The Series, He-Man, The Real Ghostbusters, The Smurfs, and numerous other shows. Regarded as one of the country's top media experts, Zicree is a regular guest on late-night radio's Coast to Coast and has lectured at many colleges (including USC, UCLA, Stanford, and Ithaca College), professional conferences, and museums throughout the world. The Twilight Zone Companion has been credited with creating the modern genre of books on TV series and inspiring a generation of series creators and filmmakers. Zicree has also co-written (with Guillermo del Toro, Barbara Hambly, and others) four additional books. Along with his wife, Elaine, Marc is currently writing, directing, and producing Space Command, an epic science-fiction TV series.

It is really hard to make a good comedy sequel, and the Ghostbusters team did their best. While it is not even close to the original, Ghostbusters II has to be considered one of the better comedy sequels. We pinpoint what prevented it from being as good as the first, which has a lot to do with its shift to a more family-friendly script off the success of The REAL Ghostbusters cartoon. I've got Ken Kessler from Sounds of Christmas and Scott Leopold from Holly Jolly X'masu here to talk the wonky version of “A Christmas Carol!” Yes, it's “Scrooge's Rock 'N' Roll Christmas” starring Jack Elam and ‘60s/‘70s musical acts!Airing in 1984, the special shows Ebenezer Scrooge in his counting house. Enigmatically, a young girl goes through an unseen time slip à la the Real Ghostbusters and winds up in his place. Subsequently, she attempts to enliven his Christmas spirit with a magical snowglobe that grants wishes. Her wish: teach Scrooge about Three Dog Night.The rest of the show is the duo arguing about Christmas and rock and roll, and watching various bands and singers. Everyone from Merrilee Rush to Paul Revere & the Raiders show up and sing Christmas songs and carols.
