On this episode of No Brains No Headache Podcast the guys are joined by the trans-Atlantic trio 'Raynes'. Joe Berger, Mat Charley and Mark Race were all in studio for a few fizzy drinks and enlightening conversation. With some true NBNH moments throughout, we learned of how they all became to meet each other from all different places and how they came up with the band name. Performing in Phoenix, Los Angeles and even in England there was plenty to talk about including long road trips, appearing on a reality TV show and who would be most likely to start a cult. It was a good one! Thank you to Raynes for joining the in studio interview and make sure you're following them on your favorite music streaming platform and social media (@RaynesMusic). The trio stayed around for the Cleary's Comments portion of the show that was focused on the first ever NBNH Comedy Night. Since everyone was in attendance it made for a great roundtable of what it's like putting on your own show and all the funny moments that came along with it. In the segment where random things are bantered about Matt gets it started off with a local road report and the impressive amount of potholes that are only good for two things - a flat tire and a visit to the chiropractor. In smaller engine news, a nationwide golf cart bandit has been caught and we can all sleep a lot better. Jordan has a textbook rant about taxes before realizing he falls below the poverty line and tells us about his drunken decision to buy a USFL fan page (follow @USFLStallionsHub on Instagram). No Brains No Headache Podcast welcomed a very special guest this week in studio. Weston Hartman, professional bull rider from Mandan, ND, joined the boys for some beers and conversation centered around the life of rodeo and bull riding. After getting to know Weston's background the questions rolled in about the intricacies of bull riding including the breakdown of events and levels of competition, the value of bullfighters and so much more. The conversation got very comfortable as jokes were flying and the peanut gallery (Joe Berger and JD Tollefson) was roaring with laughter as the slang term "rank" and the film '8 Seconds' was discussed to finish up a good time. Thank you to Weston for joining the show in the Dugout Studio! Be sure to follow him on Instagram [ https://www.instagram.com/weston_hartman/ ]. After the interview, Matt and Jordan get into Cleary's Comments where random things are discussed usually in a yelling fashion. This week featured ridiculous items people attempt to get through TSA, dick moves, and an analytical breakdown of the drinks that Molson Coors has discontinued. RIP Keystone Ice. Happy New Year! On the first episode of 2021 the boys reflect on their weekend activities of binge drinking, watching football and bum fights (1:14). Things get weird in Cleary's Comments (4:01) with Jordan teaching us about a new term: lip service and Wolverine makes another appearance. Matt stays true to the theme of this segment with outrageous comments starting with his favorite dollar store chains, then proceeds to talk about tee-ball before getting shamed off the subject and finishes strong with texting the same random/wrong number about fantasy football when he gets drunk. Open for interpretation is taken to the next level in Olympics of Power Moves (22:25). Upper Decker's were a unanimous Gold Medal recipient and taken out of competition almost immediately. The podiums were so packed with good picks there were several honorable mentions including parallel parking successfully on the first attempt and randomly quitting your job. In the NFL Cat Scan (33:30) portion of the show the guys start with resolving the Kirk Cousins-Teddy Bridgewater bet made involving pass yards, pass touchdowns and overall QB rating. Both our teams suck and didn't make the playoffs but the Washington Football Team did so we breakdown their interesting matchup with the Eagles in Week 17. Carson Wentz jokes were surprisingly held to a minimum. Playoff preview and more wagers to wrap up the sports talk. To conclude Episode 34 we have our extras from our interview with Joe Berger (49:53), native of Mandan, ND and member of the band Raynes. We talk about how the band is connecting with fans and trying to grow as well as a wine review. Lots of good stuff from Joe so thank you to him for joining us! Follow us on Twitter-IG-FB @NBNHPod.

While Pandora likes things to be normal (ish), her Granny just loves to magic things along, and their trip to the supermarket is anything but ordinary. As fishfingers start flying around, Pandora tells Granny to behave herself. But when Pandora spots a couple of robbers up to no good, an extra-ordinary Granny is exactly what’s needed! In this podcast, I am joined by Dan Boykis and Anatoly Polinsky, two of our Chariot consultants who attended The Strange Loop conference in September. I also have some reflections from Chariot consultant Joe Berger, provided via email. Strange Loop is a 2-day conference with wraparound tutorials, and also contained a language "un-conference" by Alex Payne. The post TechCast #81 – Recap of the StrangeLoop 2013 conference with Joe Berger, Dan Boykis and Anatoly Polinsky appeared first on Chariot Solutions.
Granny just loves to help – a little bit of magic always speeds things along – and she’s happy to whizz out her ‘helping kit’ at the drop of a pointy hat. However, sometimes all her granddaughter wants is to do things under her own steam, and to spend some quality time – well, normal(ish) time – with her beloved granny. But is her birthday party the right time to choose to turn down the magic? The Stories Aloud audio edition of Whizz Pop, Granny Stop! by Tracey Corderoy and Joe Berger, published by Nosy Crow. If your granny was a little bit, well, different from other grannies, would you want to change her… or would you end up thinking you love her just the way she is? In this rhyming story, a little girl whose granny is (whisper it) a witch, gets fed up with dealing with the problems she creates, so she tries to reform her, but a reformed granny is bored and boring, and maybe it’s more fun to cook up a big pot of gloop with granny’s witchy friends after all.
