"Outrageous!"-"Ridiculous!"-"Offensive!"-"Fabulous!"Well, enough about me. Let's talk about SLEEPWALKERS!Join me, Patrick Walsh, and my guest, everyone's favorite New York City-based undead horror host Unkle Spooky on a deranged deep dive into the delicious chaos that is STEPHEN KING'S SLEEPWALKERS, a film as taboo and flawed as it is wildly entertaining.Tanya and Charles are the perfect All-American high school couple about to go on their first date. Unfortunately for Tanya, Charles and his mother are unkillable incestuous shapeshifting werecats who feed on the souls of young virgins, and Tanya is next on their menu! Will Tanya fall prey to these kinky beasts? Or is there an adorable four-legged hero somewhere who knows the one thing that can stop this monstrous duo forever? Look, I know this movie is a hot mess, but I still love it, warts and all, because hiding under all the absurdity, there's true greatness just waiting for someone to find it.And that someone is ME.SLEEPWALKERS was directed by Mick Garris, written by Stephen King and stars Mädchen Amick, Brian Krause, Alice Krige and Ron Perlman.Links referenced in this episode:univozpods.netflyingfoxtavern.comicepalace.clubUnkle SpookyThis podcast uses the following third-party services for analysis: Podtrac - https://analytics.podtrac.com/privacy-policy-gdrp

#cryptids #bigfoothunting #bigfoot #cryptids #creepypasta #findingbigfoot #bigfootstories #dogman #sasquatch #yeti #landbetweenthelakes This Thursday at 5:30 PM EST Time! Come Join Us with Patrick Walsh! The legends of Bigfoot go back beyond recorded history and cover the world. In North America – and particularly the Northwest – you can hear tales of seven-foot-tall hairy men stalking the woods, occasionally scaring campers, lumberjacks, hikers and the like. Bigfoot is known by many titles with many different cultures although the name Bigfoot is generally attributed to the mountainous Western region of North America. The common name Sasquatch comes from the Salish Sasquits, while the Algonquin of the north-central region of the continent refer to a Witiko or Wendigo. Other nations tell of a large creature much like a man but imbued with special powers and characteristics. The Ojibway of the Northern Plains believed the Rugaru appeared in times of danger and other nations agreed that the hairy apparition was a messenger of warning, telling man to change his ways. https://grizzlyllc.myshopify.com https://grizzly.spiritsale.com https://paranormalhub.com/grizzly-hunt For Trail Cams and More Click the Link Below! Iarnród Éireann and Dogpatch Labs have embarked on an innovation partnership called 'Future Track,' that will use a startup approach to transform rail transportation in Ireland. This programme will focus on driving impactful innovation across Iarnród Éireann - from platform to boardroom - to significantly enhance and support Iarnród Éireann's goal of becoming the backbone of sustainable transport in Ireland. Iarnród Éireann colleagues will be immersed into an entrepreneurial community, mentored by real entrepreneurs, and engage in an annual programme run over three months, aimed at accelerating ideas into commercially viable solutions within Iarnród Éireann. With Dogpatch Labs' extensive innovation expertise and global network, Iarnród Éireann teams will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a live entrepreneurial environment with unrivalled access to top entrepreneurs, global sector experts, and startups to propel their ideas forward. The programme will culminate in a "Demo Day," where Iarnród Éireann teams will present their groundbreaking ideas directly to senior leadership. This will not only promote innovative thinking but also empower Iarnród Éireann's own employees to be catalysts of change in shaping the transportation landscape of Ireland. Jim Meade, the CEO of Irish Rail, states, "We have big ambitions for rail to become the backbone of a sustainable transport system for Ireland, for both passengers and freight. To achieve these we want to further build our innovation capacity, encouraging and developing new ideas that can enhance customer experience and support rail decarbonisation. We're delighted to work with Dogpatch Labs who will give our colleagues an opportunity to bring new impactful innovations to life." Patrick Walsh, CEO at Dogpatch Labs, highlighting the critical role of innovation in the transport sector and why this partnership is a perfect fit: "There is so much innovation already happening within the organisation and we're looking forward to adding to this by instilling a startup mindset in their staff and giving them access to the entrepreneurial community, ecosystem and network to tackle the most pressing sustainability challenges head-on." Iarnród Éireann is investing in state-of-the-art technology and modern engineering practices to improve the efficiency, safety and sustainability of its entire network. Prioritising the needs of its customers, Iarnród Éireann will continue to develop sustainable and innovative transportation solutions that improve the passenger experience and set the standard for safe and reliable rail travel. Iarnród Éireann has long been a key player in Ireland's transportation landscape, catering to the needs of more than 46 million passengers who travelled by rail in 2023 alone. Recognising the increasing demand for their services, Iarnród Éireann, funded by the National Transport Authority as part of the Ireland 2040 investment programme is currently embarking on major infrastructure projects such as DART+, Cork Area Commuter Rail, the reopening of the Foynes line, and Ceannt Station Redevelopment. Yet, their commitment to progress extends beyond mere evolution; with the company's Climate Action Plan aims for a 51% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030, while building passenger demand to 80 million journeys per annum. The partnership between Iarnród Éireann and Dogpatch Labs signifies a significant milestone in Ireland's transport landscape. Together, they are forging tracks that will redefine the way people travel, making sustainability the core of Ireland's transportation future. See more stories here. Richo and Jill are supremely lucky to chat to Patrick Walsh from Cellarhand. Without him the German and Austrian wine offering in Australia would be pretty bleak. Did I also mention that he distributes Mount Mary, Yeringberg and Wantirna Estate. To quote Wayne's World; 'we're not worthy... we're not worthy' Thanks Patrick and Virginia. You have truly influenced and changed the industry for the best.

In this episode of the podcast, BeyondNetZero Managing Director Eli Aheto sits down with Patrick Walsh and Anish Thakkar, the Co-Founders of Sun King, one of the largest providers of solar energy products for off-grid homes in Africa and Asia, to discuss providing access to sustainable and affordable solar power for nearly 82 million people across 40 countries to date. They discuss how they bonded at the University of Illinois over a shared desire to use engineering to solve the world's “existential problems”; their unique experiences traveling to India and other parts of the developing world, where they witnessed the needs of those living off the electric grid; working on the product throughout their undergraduate years in between classes; sleeping on friends' couches while getting the product off the ground and navigating the difficulties securing fundraising at a time when ESG impact funds were few and far between; how Anish successfully pitched ZS Associates Co-Founder Prabha Sinha at a party on becoming an angel investor in Sun King; the decline in the cost of solar in the years following Sun King's founding and its impact on democratizing access to clean energy solutions for consumers; the realization that retail was not a best environment for selling Sun King products and how they created a word-of-mouth network for direct-to-consumer sales to grow the business; Sun King's impact on reducing emissions and how its products have enabled many communities in developing countries leapfrog the electrical grid entirely; the importance of pay-as-you-go financing and how they worked to minimize the problem of affordability by allowing users to pay down their solar assets incrementally over time; the potential future of Sun King and plans to build larger energy systems that can power a broader range of appliances; the additional steps they believe are needed to support people without consistent access to energy in a sustainable way; lessons learned from their collective journey and partnership, and how they prefer to be in the “mode of being students” and constantly learning; and other topics.

Our guests today run a global cleantech powerhouse that recently closed $260 million in a series D funding round. They've served 90 million customers so far and they're adding two million households a year at their current connection rates. If that isn't inspiring enough, what makes these two scrappy entrepreneurs even more inspiring is the fact that they have looked beyond the wealthy markets of the US and Europe and built their company in emerging markets like Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, and other countries in Africa. In just over a decade, these founders have built a team of 2,000 employees, created a field distribution team of 15,000 people, and helped pioneer a novel financing mechanism that allows some of the lowest income people on earth to benefit from safe, affordable lighting and other benefits of electricity. Join in as host Bill Nussey talks with Patrick Walsh and Anish Thakkar, co-founders of Sun King, the global solar PV giant that is improving the lives of millions.

“Our energy source for our brotherhood is love for one another.” - Patrick Walsh This Real Talk features lessons on leadership, community and purpose fueled by active love for the people you link arms with. Coach Patrick Walsh joined me on this episode, and I was inspired by his insight and training philosophy as Head Coach of the Junipero Serra High School football team. As Head Coach, Coach Walsh has led his Padre team to over 170 victories that have culminated in visiting the CA State Championship 4 out of the past 6 years, and winning the CIF State Championship in 2017. He also played an integral role in the restart of California youth sports in December 2020, which literally affected millions of young lives. One of the most eye-opening parts of this conversation was Patrick's approach to football: To him, the sport is less about football, and more about the opportunity for young men to partake in a shared competitive activity that nurtures humility, commitment, discipline, and ultimately, love for the other people on the field with them. He explains that the energy source for the brotherhood he's created for his athletes is love for one another, and that purpose is what the Padre community rallies around. Coach Walsh also highlights aspects that allow leaders to be effective and bring out the best in their people, and how delegation in itself is a form of love because of how it empowers others to grow. If you're drawn to leadership and sports, and have a bit of an underdog competitive streak in you, then you're really going to enjoy this Real Talk! If you enjoyed this episode please rate, subscribe and share this episode! We appreciate you! With so much love & gratitude, Grace
Conditional statements or as they're more commonly known, IF-THEN statements, are the foundation of almost all programming languages. They allow an automation that looks for a certain circumstance, and if that circumstance exists then an action happens. The action may be the end result or it may send the automation down a path searching for more circumstances, but it is the building block for decision making processes, cyber or otherwise. That's why it's so odd that when it comes to defining cyber warfare there doesn't seem to be a clear set of rules for decision making. A BETTER PEACE welcomes Patrick Walsh to look at defining the red line in cyberspace. What defines an act of warfare, versus crime, versus terrorism in cyberspace. Patrick joins podcast editor Ron Granieri in the studio to share his years of experience prosecuting cybercrimes and how he feels laws can better inform decision making and responses to actions in the cyber realm.
