Analysing the video game Death Stranding (2019), exploring the connection from our reality to the world of the game, and the realisation of how close to the world of the dead we really are. Death Stranding, within it's created universe, has different strands that both connect and tangle within each other. How the history behind a made up world can reflect certain aspects of ours, whether that be through past events, beliefs or emotional connections, and the need for a better future, a change, that essentially saves lives around the main protagonist that we might take for granted. When I first met Raven, a tattoo artist at West Coast Tattoo Parlor, I was immediately struck by her passion and dedication. I remember her telling me about how her clothing choices had a significant impact on her career and how she navigated a challenging customer interaction. We're pulling back the curtain on the notorious Storm Area 51 event with Frank Demaggio, Valerie Demaggio, and Rob Diavolo—a chaotic spectacle born from a viral meme that corralled 3.6 million people towards a bizarre mission. Buckle up as we navigate the tumultuous journey of last-minute venue shifting to Las Vegas, tickle your funny bone with the humorous faux pas of misnaming an FBI agent live on air, and shed light on the unexpected legal brouhaha and the potential of a documentary series. From memes to lawsuits, join us as we stroll down memory lane, recounting the unforeseen hurdles, the struggle to co-promote with big-names like Bud Light, Blink 182, and Life is Beautiful, and how this massive event didn't quite turn into the goldmine that the organizers had hoped for. Our narrative takes a deeper turn as we share a riveting backstory about transitioning from a nightmarish group home existence to becoming a proud tattoo parlor owner, revealing some of society's darkest corners along the way. To wrap up, we take a deep dive into Frank Demaggio's journey—a tale of resilience and determination that'll inspire you. From his headstrong childhood to his mentorship during the Storm Area 51 event, Frank's life is a testament to the indomitable spirit of human willpower. This episode serves as a reminder of the power of community, the importance of hope, self-belief, and the incredible strength of the human spirit. Happy Monday October 10th! On this episode the BMN podcast, we review the Adam Sandler/Netflix Love Baby film - "The Do Over". Which wasn't an absolute train wreck, but it's also nowhere near a Happy Gilmore caliber Sandler Joint. Jeff watched a kung-fu delight, "Journey West", and Aaron watched (a part of) a new Netflix pilot called, "Jean Claude Van Johnson", with the one and only JCVD. Unfortunately Nazli didn't watch anything, ruining everyone's day. The triumvirate also delves into the "Netflix Machine", and how they've achived such a pinnacle of excellent self producer/distributoed TV and Features. Please enjoy this edition of the Bad Movie Nite Podcast!

Earn Your Spurs: Exploring the Cowboy, Horses and All Things Western
Sam Finden is a 29 year old blogger, author, hunter, horseman, and all-around good guy who made his way from Minnesota to Montana with the intention of living the western lifestyle. He grew up with limited horse experience and came to the cowboy way of life later than most, starting at 24. Shortly after moving to Montana, Sam published his first book, Saddle My Good Horse, a clean educational fiction about high school rodeo and teenage ranching life. Many of the characters in the book were inspired by people Sam met in his travels, and many of the lessons contained in the book were not so easily learned by the author.
Invitado: Leo Prieto. Música: The Strokes - On The Other Side.
