When Captain Archer brings Porthos on an important diplomatic mission, peeing on a sacred tree earns the Kreetassans another elaborate apology. But when the pathogen Porthos picked up turns him into a puppet, Dr. Phlox starts digging into the psychology of Archer's hot-headed reactions. Does the actor who plays Porthos have a side hustle? Who is a roll-off danger in a biobed? What will make a comeback on iPad 17? It's the episode that's dead inside in different ways.Support the production of The Greatest GenerationGet a thing at podshop.biz!Sign up for our mailing list!Follow The Game of Buttholes: The Will of the Riker - Quantum LeapThe Greatest Generation is produced by Wynde PriddySocial media is managed by Rob Adler and Bill TilleyMusic by Adam Ragusea & Dark MateriaFriends of DeSoto for: Labor | Democracy | JusticeDiscuss the show using the hashtag #GreatestGen and find us on social media:YouTube | Facebook | X | Instagram | TikTok | Mastodon | Bluesky | ThreadsAnd check out these online communities run by FODs: Reddit | USS Hood Discord | Facebook group | Wikia | FriendsOfDeSoto.social

AJ and Rhys review a wet n wild weekend of footy. Some teams had great difficulty adapting to the slippery conditions as Origin restings took a toll on some. We discuss the Sharks mid year demise, Canterbury's improved defence. The problems facing Brisbane's forward pack, the re-emergence of Te-Marie Martin as well as the Knights finding the right Pryce for their attack. We dissect Parramatta's improvement despite the recent form slump as well as praise and criticise Canberra's performance against Melbourne as Bronson Garlick gives Bellamy food for thought. Sunday saw the Dragons breathe fire on the Dolphins as they lost JMK for the year. We dissect some question marks at Penrith as the Cowboys find their Mr Fix It as well as analyse the Roosters big win over the hapless Tigers (we're easy on the tigers). We look at our Lower Grade Report, our LOLCOW of the week and pay tribute to one of league's passionate fans. RIP Brian Cooley.
This week Rage had a weird work schedule so we were unable to record this week. I pulled franken content from the newest and oldest episode on the backlog, so we have some things from last week, and things from January. Hope you enjoy, and we'll see you next week!
Welcome to Slip N Slide! Get ready for another hour of vibrant vocal circuit house music, specially curated for those of you who have been craving more of it lately. In this mixshow, I experimented with what I like to call orchestra layering (it's very Jimmy Page of me I suppose) blending multiple tracks to create fresh harmonies and beats. (Listen to some Led Zeppelin the guitars are layered sometimes 40 over) Your support means the world to me, so don't forget to leave some love in the comments below. Your feedback is always valued as we groove our way closer to the summer vibes!

Everyone knows that there will be highs and lows in life; however, the mindset of ‘progress is a process' will help you navigate your pivots. My conversation with Free the Vision helps frame highs, lows, momentum and keeping the focus on progress. More about Free: Free Warren, creatively known as Free The Vision, is a creative director and tv producer that lives at the intersection of music, storytelling, and live experiences. He is a world traveler driven by curiosity and the inner workings of culture. Free is originally from New Jersey, and raised in Atlanta, GA where he got his start as the innovator behind music videos for notable artists like Tyrese and Birdman, which landed him in the world of production. He has directed commercial campaigns for the Mark Zuckerberg Foundation in addition to spirit brands such as Tito's and Jack Daniels. Free has produced for networks that include BET, WeTv, AMC and ALLBLK. However his artistic journey has always been quite unique. Free started his creative consulting and production company, Free 3 Creative as a means to serve as a vision architect for strategy and development. One of the many things that has set him apart is his talent reflecting that of a marketing chameleon building 360 experiences into his work. This distinct skill has afforded him the ability to move beyond just the art of visual storytelling and into a world of developing the roll out executions for artist releases as well as consulting record labels (UMG's Cinematic, Slip-N-Slide). As an intentional builder of relationships and community, Free began to bridge his love for artistry and experience by producing live music events and partnering with global brands like Soho House. Taking his wealth of industry connections, he began to construct platforms for artists to perform and touch their audiences in intimately impactful spaces. Free's signature events, “Turn Up the Volume” and “On the Mic,” have given artists like Coco Jones, Eric Bellinger, India Shawn and Grammy winning and multi-platinum producers Bryan Michael Cox and Kosine the opportunity to perform to sold out crowds. Free The Vision is a multifaceted talent that exercises all of his creative prowess. He is the author of three published book titles, Fragment Reality, Hypocrites Know Best and Sh!t I Learned in Route to 30, and was named “Top Influencer to Work With” by Huffington Post. He relentlessly strives to unify the worlds of storytelling and experience. As a tv producer of shows like Social Society, he materializes his passion for amplifying Black culture and bringing their narratives to the forefront. There is no space or team that Free The Vision encounters that he does not leave positively impacted. He is a vision architect that insistently sets his mission on bringing the world creativity that inspires and shows the multiplicity of those who look like him. Free The Vision is beyond a moniker, it is a calling.

This week, Maureen is too hot and too wet. New York is not easy in the summer. Dan has ideas to help, but Maureen is not interested. She's also not the only person who is too hot and too wet. It's a Climate Change Summer! How do people keep doing normal stuff while the world changes around us? Not sure!Meanwhile, Dan is preparing to send his oldest child off to college and he is…not okay! Neither is Rudy Giuliani, for that matter. And possibly Donald Trump. Their problems continue to attack Dan personally. Also, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are having an online platform fight, and possibly a cage match. Maureen devolves into Friends plotlines and reveals her ultimate dream, which, as it turns out, is pretty achievable.Get the hose and the Slip n Slide, SaysWhovia! It's time to cool off!

Some long awaited news finally came down the federal pipeline to Nevada: Avi Kwa Ame, the sacred land to Indigenous communities, has officially been declared a national monument. We find out which jobs promote better sleep and Susie's mind is blown about why certain jobs might be advantageous. Hello lovely readers and listeners! I'm back and I survived my first medical school exam. I am not a dummy! Woot Woot! But back to business which is a bunch of accents and nonsense as usual. I wrecked your heart last time and I'm not so sure I'm gonna make it better this episode with Chapter 55 and 56. Crolexander got demolished last week and this week we suffer through the aftermath. Annabeth will just have to deal with her breakup while also facing the deadly Masters at Vanderwyn Manor. I'm evil like that. This week on our EMS segment we see what happens when a man that can walk perfectly with assless scrubs tries to get in an ambulance. Miami Dolphins Tales From The Deep From the moment he was featured on the Luther “Luke” Campbell track “Scarred,” Trick Daddy instantly became a staple in the Miami music scene. After singing to Slip-N-Slide records, Trick released back-to-back albums, receiving national acclaim and climbing to the third spot on the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart with “Nann” featuring Trina. Hits including “Shut Up,” “I'm a Thug,” “Let's Go” and “Bet That” followed as Trick solidified his place in Miami music history. But it was the cover of his Thugs Are Us album where Trick revealed his passion for Miami sports as he donned an aqua Sam Madison jersey. Joined by his Love & Hip Hop Miami co-star, Gunplay, Trick discusses his love for the Miami Dolphins, his frustrations with Ryan Tannehill, his friendship with Channing Crowder and why he feels today's society is lacking in family values and morals.
