C.J. Stroud's performance vs the Patriots was labeled “a disgrace” after a brutal four-interception day that could have been even worse. The guys break down what looks like real regression: sloppy fundamentals, indecision, and turnovers that are no longer just “bad luck.” Plus, Troy Aikman delivers a cold, direct assessment of Stroud on the broadcast, and the discussion turns to the bigger issue for Houston: is this a quarterback problem, a coordinator problem, or both? They also rip Demeco Ryans for punting late while down two scores, debate how much the weather mattered, and why the Texans' elite defense made the missed opportunity feel even more painful. Then the hour swings to a wild list of “best plays by losers,” and finishes with MLB hot stove talk as the Cody Bellinger sweepstakes heats up, including what the Yankees should do if the Mets come with a huge short-term offer.
Craig Carton and Chris “C-Mac” McMonigle dive deep into the real details behind the Mets' pursuit of Kyle Tucker and explain why Steve Cohen didn't actually get outbid by the Dodgers. The guys reveal the contract structure, opt-outs, signing bonuses, and deferred money that shaped Tucker's decision.
Rumors broke that the Mets have offered free agent OF Kyle Tucker a short-term, high-AAV deal. Chris and Jack break down what it could mean for their offseason outlook and 2026 lineup. The Democrats are accused of overplaying their response to the Rene Good murder in Minnesota, which has sparked national outrage and could potentially harm their electoral prospects if they use the event to target ICE. Mark provides a recap of last night's Golden Globe Awards. Political strategist Ed Rollins joins Mark for an interview. Ed argues that President Trump and the GOP need a clear issue to rally behind for the midterms. He notes that the administration is juggling many priorities, making it difficult to establish a central focus for Republican campaigns. Zohran Mamdani is about to propose significant spending on new public restrooms in NYC. Mark questions whether Mamdani will deliver real change or is just making promises. Did Nick Reiner's son's mental health medications contribute to the murder of his parents, actor Rob Reiner and his wife? Mark interviews Fox Business Analyst Charlie Gasparino. Charlie suggests that protests about Rene Good's murder could increase frustration among Democrats and left-leaning individuals with the state of the country. He also discusses how the media's handling of the story and related issues could impact the GOP. Additionally, Gasparino provides an update on the Warner Bros. business deal, including news involving Paramount, Skydance, Netflix, and more.

The Chicago Bulls are suddenly one of the most fascinating teams in the NBA — and the trade deadline is about to test everything.
In this heated segment, Marc "Moose" Malusis tackles the ultimate New York Jets dilemma: whether to mortgage the future to move up from the No. 4 spot for Indiana's Heisman-winning quarterback, Fernando Mendoza. Malusis argues passionately that "if you get the quarterback, it's all worth it," regardless of the draft capital surrendered. Reflecting on the organization's past failures with Sam Darnold and Zach Wilson, he challenges the Jets to finally prioritize quarterback development over draft-pick hoarding. With the Giants potentially sitting on the No. 1 pick and already rostered with Jaxson Dart, Malusis explores the possibility of an "all-New York" blockbuster trade that could finally provide the Jets with a 15-year solution under center.
In this high-octane episode, Marc "Moose" Malusis breaks down a pivotal Monday in New York football. Following a heartbreaking 16-13 Giants loss to the Vikings, Moose debates whether Jaxson Dart is the franchise savior or if the team should entertain a massive trade-down for Indiana's Mendoza. Meanwhile, the Jets' side of the city is in a state of "pure desperation" as fans call for a complete culture overhaul, questioning Aaron Glenn's leadership and Woody Johnson's interference. From Mike McCarthy rumors to the potential of a John Harbaugh exit in Baltimore, Moose tackles the coaching carousels and the "quarterback-or-bust" reality facing both local franchises as they head into 2026.
The media war you're watching on the news is NOTHING compared to the media war happening behind the news. In this episode, I'm breaking down how Netflix – the same company that crushed the entire streaming game – just ran into the REAL bosses of media… and why a $108 billion hostile takeover tells you everything you need to know about power, propaganda, and who really runs America.Netflix tried to level up from “just streaming” to owning the airwaves – TNT, TBS, CNN, the whole Warner Bros Discovery empire. Then Paramount + Skydance pulled up like, “Nah… we want ALL of that” – with an all-cash, $108B offer straight to the shareholders, backed by Larry Ellison's money, Saudi wealth funds, and Trump's son-in-law's capital. This ain't just about movies. This is about who controls the narrative. And they don't let just anybody touch that.Join our Exclusive Patreon!!! Send us a text0-21:30: PSKY / WBD Deal breakdown21:30-51:08 The Fed Breakdown51:08-56:27: Donor Approved Funds for CharityIn this episode, Kristen and Jen continue to unpack Warner Brothers Discover bidding war from what the media is constantly getting wrong including missing the non apples to apples bids from PSKY and NFLX as well as why Paramount's bid looks nothign like traditional M&A and is basically a straight-up leveraged buyout. They also break down the question everyone's up in arms about: who is in control when this deal goes through. Then Jen shifts gears into the Fed…and why the headlines are missing what actually matters. Yes, there was a 25bp rate cut — but the bigger story is the Fed's new plan to support funding markets through reserve management purchases (RMPs) and short-dated Treasury buying. Jen translates the Fed's most painfully dry policy language into plain English, explains what “ample reserves” really means, and walks through why the Fed is stepping in now — with historical parallels to 2019's repo market stress and the post-2008 era of balance-sheet whiplash. The takeaway: this isn't a red-alert crisis moment, but it is a meaningful shift in liquidity support… and it sets up some very interesting asymmetry heading into 2026.Finally, they end with a practical PSA that could save high earners real money: a tax change coming in 2026 (and why there's urgency before year-end) makes donor-advised funds newly relevant if you give to charity consistently. They explain how “bunching” donations can potentially maximize deductibility — and how donating appreciated stock can help you avoid capital gains taxes while still supporting the causes you care about. Not tax advice (seriously: ask your CPA), but if you're philanthropic and market-savvy, this is one of those “tiny line in a bill, huge impact” moments you don't want to miss.Want to get an intense education in the world of corporate finance typically reserved for investment bankers and private equity professionals? For more than a century, Warner Bros has been one of Hollywood's biggest players, a legacy studio that helped define the Golden Age of cinema with iconic blockbuster movies. Now, it's at the centre of a contentious, billion-dollar bidding war between Netflix, the world's leading streaming platform, and Paramount Skydance, owned by the powerful Ellison family, which has close ties to President Trump. Whichever way this goes, the outcome isn't looking great. Welcome to Multiverse News, Your source for Information about all your favorite fictional universesThe potential sale of Warner Bros Discovery has been a hot topic in recent weeks, but no one could have predicted the escalation and heightened stakes the bidding war has reached as Paramount CEO David Ellison announced a hostile takeover bid to the tune of $108.4 billion in response to what he described as Netflix's inferior $82.7 billion deal; a deal that seemed like an all but assured thing just days ago. It's been an uncharacteristically long time since James Gunn has given us a headline, but we may still be a day late and dollar short, as on Sunday the DC Studios head released a 10 second first look at Supergirl via social media, with the promise of the teaser trailer later in the week; which many have speculated to mean Thursday… Thanks, James! Also concerning DC: Four years after leaving the Marvel Cinematic Universe behind, Scarlett Johansson seems headed for Gotham City, with the actress in final negotiations to join The Batman Part II. Details about Johansson's potential role are being closely guarded, though speculation has already run rampant about which iconic Batman character she might portray, though being a new love interest for Bruce Wayne in some capacity is a popular guess in the wake of unconfirmed reports that Zoe Kravitz might not reprise her role in the sequel.More than seven years after its original theatrical run, Marvel Studios is bringing Avengers: Endgame, the second-highest-grossing film of all time, back to theaters September 25, 2026 just months before Avengers: Doomsday later that December. While it's still unknown how long the Russos Brothers' last MCU contribution will be back to the big screen, the placement between the releases of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in July and Doomsday in December, has fueled industry insider speculation suggesting the new Avengers film will act as a direct sequel to Endgame rather than closely following the events of Phases 4 through 6.HBO has revealed that the third season of Euphoria will begin streaming in April of 2026. This comes more than four years after Season 2 finished in February 2022.Hulu has renewed the Glen Powell led sports comedy series Chad Powers for a second season.20th Century Studios announced The Simpsons Movie 2 has been delayed from July 23, 2027 to September 3, 2027. Paramount and Blumhouse are reviving the Paranormal Activity franchise and bringing on James Wan to produce a new feature film in the franchise according to the Hollywood Reporter. Variety and CNN have revealed the star-studded lineup for the 23rd season of Actors on Actors. Some of the participants include Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Dwayne Johnson, Julia Roberts, and Ariana Grande. Sony Pictures has tapped Bad Boys For Life writer Chris Bremner to pen a new Men In Black film. Although plot details are not public, sources tell Deadline that when the script is complete, original series star Will Smith will be the first to read it in hopes that he will return to the franchise in some capacity. Prime Video has released the first trailer for the final season of The Boys. The show has an updated release date of April 8, 2026, which will see the release of two episodes. Episodes will then drop weekly, leading to the series finale on May 20th. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 opened to $109 million dollars worldwide over the weekend, a strong opening for the franchise. Additionally, last weekend's champion Zootopia 2 is nearing the one billion dollar mark with $915 million dollars worldwide so far. Sigourney Weaver is in talks to join the upcoming Tomb Raider series for Prime Video. Sophie Turner is set to star as Lara Croft, with Phoebe Waller-Bridge on as writer and executive producer.
Two of the biggest media companies in the world are going to war over Warner Bros. Discovery, a massive media conglomerate that owns a historic Hollywood studio, as well as the likes of HBO and CNN. This week, Paramount put in a hostile all-cash takeover bid for Warner Brothers worth more than $108 billion. This followed Netflix's announcement a few days earlier that they had won a bid to buy the company's film, studio and streaming divisions, which alarmed many people in the industry. The Paramount bid is led by big time MAGA donor Larry Ellison and is backed by U.S President Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Trump has already signaled he will be involved in whatever deal comes through. Lucas Shaw, who writes the Screentime newsletter for Bloomberg, talks us through what this means for media concentration, influence over the news and the future of the entertainment industry.
