Do you want to time travel back to the era of Elvis Presley, the undisputed 'King of Rock 'n' Roll', and take a deep dive into his filmography? Buckle up! We promise a roller-coaster ride, exploring classics such as 'Kissing Cousins', 'Tickle Me', and 'Viva Las Vegas'. We'll scrutinize sound mixing, dissect plot lines, and reminisce about Elvis's undeniable sex appeal. We'll also draw comparisons with modern-day hotties like Jensen Akles and Steven Amell, all while discussing the more than questionable age gaps and courtship rituals in Elvis's films. We don't just stop there. We'll tackle some controversial moments in Elvis movies and delve into the somewhat touchy subject of foot fetishes. We'll unravel the onscreen chemistry between Elvis and his numerous co-stars, explore the comedic bits and moral codes, and question the messaging behind certain scenes. The depiction of women in these movies? We've got that covered too, by analyzing the dimensions used to describe them and the way they were treated. As if that wasn't enough, we'll also step into the realm of John Travolta's worst movies and the controversial remarks surrounding Elvis's drug issues. Our conversation will take a surprising turn to Christopher Nolan's sound mixing techniques and the influence of cable television. Quite a mixed bag, don't you think? We look forward to having you join us for this fun, light-hearted, and often controversial conversation about all things Elvis and a lot more.Be our friend!Dan: @shakybaconTony: @tonydczechAnd follow the podcast on IG: @hatewatchingDAT

Check out Broadswords magazine at http://dmdave.com/broadsword-magazine-preorder-1/San Diego ComicCon brought such an amazing amount of announcements, nut just the expected Marvel Phase 4, but also a lot of new details about the DCEU including a LOT of CW TV business.Let’s start with DC, and the amazing amount of effort WB and CW Network have put in to making us really want to watch not just Legends of Tomorrow, SuperGirl, The Flash and Arrow, but the upcoming Batwoman series and on DC Streaming Service both Domo Patrol (greenlit for Season 2) and Titans Season 2 where it is hinted we will see Jason Todd become the Red Mask. The costume leaks for Season 5 of Supergirl and Season 6 of The Flash look amazing as Kara Danvers finally gets to wear the pants! (Amazing suit very much tied to the rest of the DC universe). On a sad note there were many moments of memories and fond wishes as Arrow went to their last Hall H panel. Steven Amell is bringing us the best Oliver Queen that he can in the final season. Moving on to Marvel and an outstanding Hall H, Marvel’s Kevin Faige introduced the 90-minute panel session that included almost all of our favorite Marvel personalities. Both the Disney+ streaming programs as well as standard theatrical release productions were hyped in this amazing panel session. Particularly we are all looking forward to Black Widow, and the Doc Strange II films. Disney/Marvel television will be amazing; however, it was shortly before the Hall H extravaganza that ABC and Marvel did announce the end of Agents of Shield. This week's episode brought to you by Indy Wrestling US, Slice on Broadway, Occupy Pro Wrestling, and IndyWrestling Network! It's that time of year when we reminisce on what has happened throughout the course of wrestling. Mad Mike, Sorg, and Larry take a trip through old show notes to pull up last year's predictions, and we make some bold predictions heading into 2019: It's the end of the year, which means we're running through last year's WWE predictions. Mad Mike is rewriting Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer for the RAW women's match. We're running through our 2018 predictions for our show! This week's Big Question: What gift would you like Wrestling Santa to bring you? Sorg checked out Rockstar Pro for their live stream with IMPACT at Ohio vs Everyone. He shares some thoughts about the show. What did YOU learn in wrestling this year? Speaking of predictions, here's what we expect for the big wrestling shows in 2019: Mad Mike: Brock Lesnar will be UFC and WWE champion. Pentagon will be NXT Champion. Sometime during 2019 we will see the match between David Arquette and Steven Amell. Sorg: WWE will not go back to the Middle East, but will do a supershow in another country. The Elite (All In) promotion will not have television, but will still be an ROH competitor by the end of 2019. The Elite (All In) promotion will be part of the WWE Network. Larry: Ronda Rousey will not be with WWE throughout 2019. The Elite (All In) promotion is BS and they will be part of WWE. Our Mayhem Show predictions for 2019: Larry: Mad Mike will visit the studio in 2019. Sorg: There will be more IMPACT discussion in 2019. Mad Mike will be unblocked by IMPACT’s main account. Mad Mike will make one of Sorg’s business relationships awkward in 2019. Mad Mike: He will do something to get himself reblocked by IMPACT in 2019. Sorg will have to ask a luchador a question in Spanish during 2019. Tina: WMS will do a live show from the west coast. Carlins: Larry will earn himself a lifetime ban from Mayhem Mania. Ty Cross: He will visit the studio in 2019. Bobby: A puppet will interview a wrestler for a WMS show. Alex Miller: The Sorg will get hit in the nuts. Coming to us from the Hero Unabridged podcast, Murf adds his considerable powers of observation to our crew in a vain attempt to discern what in this show is real and what is an insane reality created by its main character David. In Chapter Three we get more memory work with Ptomony and Dr. Melanie Bird, with Syd coming along for the ride, in order to determine what Davids amazing powers might be. Exposition abounds and we feel like were finally getting a grasp on our place in this bizarre alternate X-Universe. Then Chapter Four happens and the rug is slowly and systematically removed from under our feet. To even attempt a description here would be folly so just go ahead and watch and listen and well do the group therapy together. It feels like theatrical madness worthy of a Greenwich Village improv group, but is probably more accurately a methodical mind fuck from the magnificent bastards making this show. First, we finally get more of the secret origin of the Martian Manhunter as we learn about the slaughter Jonn's people met at the hands of the White Martians. Coincidentally enough this is brought on by an attack from a White Martian on an anti-alien politician. Also, bonus soapy in the arrival of Cat Grant's estranged son Adam. Next, Supergirl and the team must figure out how to fight her bizarre evil doppelganger/Max Lord science project. We'll leave you to figure out what her name is. And remember kids, try not to schedule your dates on the night a supervillain might attack. Bonus discussion with David about Rogue One and his thoughts on the CW Superverse. Stay tuned!

The season one Supergirl recaps continue this week with Chris and Scott covering episodes nine and ten. First, it's more Kryptonian fun as the DEO faces of against Non and Astra's forces. Hank gets captured and Kara is desperately trying to get Cat to stop thinking that she's Supergirl (even though she's totally Supergirl). Next, we get a break from Kara's angry kin to delve into Winn's daddy issues as The Toyman comes for some overdue family bonding with his son. Also, lots of James and Lucy soapy stuff and poor Winn is officially friendzoned forever. Bonus Maxwell Lord stuff as Hank/Jonn proves that as the leader of a covert government agency, he actually kind of sucks at one on one espionage work. Don't forget to put away your toys when you're done playing with them kids, and always remember to deactivate the explosive ones! Only two more weeks of Supergirl recaps after this one, so get them while the heat vision is hot!

Meanwhile the DEO has a super villain running around the compound who has incredible mental powers. Damn, if only there was a super powered alien with amazing psychic powers on this show who could save the day. Also, Scott mourns for the dearly departed DEO agents (Other than Hank and Alex) who seem to die in droves every episode. Next, in a story ripped from some political headline on some alternate earth, Cat Grant is dealing with the aftermath of having her private emails hacked and the impending threat of her secrets being released. Oh yeah, and the Kryptonians are back with a vengeance and Kara has to battle her Aunt Astra. Me and Hero are Bingestorming in National City for a few more weeks so we hope you'll stay tuned with us. Worst. Babysitters. Ever. Next we get a windy and wonderful appearance from the pages of DC comics when Supergirl is asked to test her powers against the Red Tornado. No heroics from this android though, as Kara must stop its rampage before it destroys the city. We also get some nice character building about Cat's relationships with her mother and James and Lucy play "Guess who's coming to dinner?" with angry daddy General Lane.
