Hosts Mark Bland and Jason Kull deliver a fiery episode of The Q Now on KYRO News Radio, airing April 24, 2025, from Gateway Fiber Studios. Shortened to one hour due to a Blues playoff game, the show blends sharp political critique with pop culture banter, focusing on Trump's foreign policy and administration chaos. The episode opens with a Moscow Times report alleging Trump's involvement in a planned Moscow Trump Tower, explaining his pro-Russia stance amid stalled Ukraine-Russia peace talks. Bland and Cole criticize Trump for prioritizing personal gain over U.S. interests, noting Ukraine's rejection of U.S. proposals to cede territory and its shift to NATO allies. They highlight Trump's ineffective Truth Social pleas to Putin and dismiss his real estate focus as irrelevant to domestic issues like infrastructure. The hosts then address dysfunction in Trump's circle, citing a near-physical clash between Elon Musk and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent over IRS leadership, devolving into accusations of being a “Soros agent.” They debunk Trump's claims of low grocery prices, using Grok to confirm egg prices nearly doubled from $3.37 to $6.23 per dozen since April 2024. Bland calls Trump's team “whiny” and urges Republicans to offer substantive solutions. For levity, the hosts discuss BuzzFeed's gross behind-the-scenes facts from films like The Paperboy (Nicole Kidman urinating on Zac Efron) and Texas Chainsaw Massacre (unwashed costumes in 100-degree heat). They tangent into It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia debates, maintaining their irreverent charm. Closing with thanks to listeners and Gateway Fiber, Bland and Kull vow to “make everyone proud.” The episode appeals to politically engaged moderates, blending outrage at Trump's leadership with humor, reflecting the polarized climate of 2025.
The hosts of "the queue now," Mark Bland and Jason Cole, marked their show's 15th anniversary, with Bland announcing the retirement of his traditional intro for a more free-flowing approach. The main topic of discussion quickly became "Liberation Day," which coincided with the implementation of new tariffs by Donald Trump. The hosts expressed significant concern about the economic fallout, drawing parallels to the historically damaging Smoot-Hawley Act. They highlighted the negative reaction in the stock market and the potential for job losses in sectors like automaking. The tariffs were portrayed as illogical and harmful to US allies, potentially driving them towards alternative partnerships, such as with China. The conversation also touched on Elon Musk's waning influence after an unsuccessful political investment and his reported upcoming departure from Trump's administration. A significant segment focused on Laura Loomer, who allegedly presented Trump with a list of disloyal government officials, leading to the firing of several individuals based on loyalty. The hosts deemed this a dangerous precedent. The latter part of the show featured an interview with Dr. Julie Scott, the current vice president running for re-election to the Wentzville School Board. Dr. Scott advocated for the importance of local elections, the Propel proposition to fund schools, and a focus on students' needs over political agendas. She voiced her frustrations with the current board's functionality and discussed the negative campaigning she had experienced. Bland and Cole strongly endorsed Dr. Scott, encouraging listeners in the Wentzville district to vote for her. The hosts identified themselves as "Midwestern moderate liberals".

On this episode of The Qnow, Don Looney returns to the scene of the crime from his last show and the boys are too excited to see him. First off the guys decide to discuss local web boards and the typr of people that are on them and how they should act. What should and shouldn't be posted as well as anything else that falls into the peripheral discussion, the guys tackle it. Next up it seems Russia is be coming best friends with the United States. After a recent yelling match at the White House with Zalensky, Donald Trump kicked the Ukrainian crew out of the White House and they left without a peace deal on the table. This shocked the rest of the world as they started to pour in with their opinions regarding NATO and Ukraine and the United States. Meanwhile Trump decided to try and make English the official national language of America.... Because that is more important than people dying in war. Finally Donald Trump decided to release the Epstein list. To do this he grabbed a bunch of social media influencers and flew them the Washington DC so that he could hand them big white binders with all of the pages redacted. Then they went out on TV like a WWE skit and pretended that they had gotten something important. But none of the influencers could hold back so they ended up posting all the stuff they got and everybody was completely disappointed. The guys finally talk about this. All this and much more on the newest episode of The Qnow.
First up, Mark Bland and Jasom Kull do a deep dive into Trumps latest decree of "Long Live the King". Trump seems to have forgotten that Washington and the forefathers specifically forbode there being a King because that is what caused all their issues in the first place. So why make the new place like the old place. So being a king was looked down on. But is it in 2025. There is a group of people so hell bent on being slaves to the rich that they are willing to cheer someone like Trump for these things. Mark warns everyone of the dangers of normalizing sensationalism as a joke or some thing of no real value. Eventually it becomes the norm. Next up is the special guests of the show. Liam and Aimee Robertson join the show to discuss the White House and the Missouri government to go after Section 504 Protections in the USA. A Lawsuit originating in Texas targeted section 504 because of their own states vague language that they want to apply in a weird way to LGBTQ, and more specific Trans children. The reasoning is just as foreign originating idea that there needs to be a law for helping our disabled ever. This sets of Mark and Jason....and....LIAM!!! Liam is excited to be on the show and lets everyone know where he stands and how he feels about the entire Section 504 discussion.
Here's a cleaned-up and polished version of your podcast episode summary: On this episode of The QNow… It turns out Elon Musk is actually the president—at least according to a surprising source: his own 5-year-old son, Little X. After overhearing private conversations between Musk and Donald Trump, the child reportedly strolled into the Oval Office and declared that Trump needs to "shush his mouth" because he is not the President of the United States. Mark and Jason break down the implications of this unexpected revelation and how, as fathers, they recognize when kids are simply repeating what they hear at home. Plus, the hosts revisit a key moment from Trump's first term—when CNN and other major networks began cutting away from his press conferences as he spewed falsehoods and nonsense. No matter where you stand politically, one thing is clear: Trump's presidency has been a disaster, not just in the eyes of political analysts, world leaders, and everyday Americans—but even in the judgment of a 5-year-old. Meanwhile, Elon Musk remains glued to Trump's side, despite not being the VP. That honor goes to JD Vance—who, let's be honest, has become the biggest cuck in politics, while Musk steals the spotlight week after week. All this and more, on The QNow!
On this epsiode of the show, Mark and Jason are once again joined by John Scheper from 105.3 KYRO! The gentlemen discuss the entire situation. Then Mark and Jason discuss the USAID closure with Schep. USAID is a governemtn agency that helped with internetional development. But like everything in MAGALand it starts with conspiracy and then they go "WE don't like that" and shut it down. Ruining peoples lives, making the US look worse and putting the country on the fast track to losing everything. We voted for this? Finally, The SuperBowl is around the corner and there are foods that different parts of the country like to rock with. We put Jason kull to the test and try to find out if he knows what makes for a good superbowl catering line or not! Plus there are always prop bets with the SuperBowl...will Tavis ask Tay Tay to marry him and much more! We also find out would jay bet on the props and what are the chances they come true!

Despite these serious offenses, Trump's pardon allowed him to evade accountability, putting public safety at risk. Mark and Jason offered their unflinching commentary on how incidents like this validate concerns raised by Democrats about Trump's unrepentant supporters. Well still in the bunker until January 2nd but that is okay, we are slowly drawing back to our situation with 105.3 KYRO and FOX News. After being told to take a break because of cussing on the air from a guest...and because we are liberal in our stances and Kamala lost the election....the first STL people to be suspended by the Feds....which makes us the HOWARD STERN of the 2020's. The Liberal rogan. For sure! So get on the train now while you can, we are taking off with this thing! So now we walk into 2025 with the president of the United States having dementia and a bunch of people who were not elected making all the decisions. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
In the latest episode of The QNow, hosts Mark Bland and Jason Kull dive into the unraveling of Trump's empty promises as he preps for a potential second term. Before even reclaiming the presidency, Trump's Project 2025 is a clear sign of betrayal: slashing Social Security, gutting Medicare, and prioritizing corporate profits over the very voters who elected him. Mark and Jason lay out the facts and expose the consequences of these policies for everyday Americans, particularly in red states like Missouri, where the impact will be severe. But it doesn't stop there. The duo also tackles the growing influence of Elon Musk, dissecting how his unchecked power and agenda could reshape society in troubling ways. From pushing his political beliefs to flexing his influence on platforms like X, Elon's rise is as dangerous as it is unchecked. Engaging, unfiltered, and bold, Mark Bland and Jason Kull deliver another thought-provoking episode packed with hard truths and sharp analysis. On this week's episode of The QNow, Mark Bland and Jason Kull dove into an eclectic mix of topics that showcased their sharp wit and unfiltered commentary. The discussion kicked off with a look at DOGE and a playful take on the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Mark and Jason envisioned this satirical department as a reflection of bureaucratic absurdities, highlighting the challenges of holding public institutions accountable. The segment combined humor and critique to emphasize the need for better governance. Next, the conversation turned to a controversial move by Elon Musk—dubbed “Ironbolt”—and his alleged involvement in cutting Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits. The hosts dissected the potential motivations and repercussions of such a decision, critiquing how billionaires like Musk can wield outsized influence over policy. Mark emphasized the ethical implications, while Jason offered insights into how veterans might mobilize in response. The episode reached a dramatic peak with a segment on the "United Healthcare Assassination" of Brian Thompson and the subsequent manhunt. This mysterious figure, reportedly linked to the insurance giant, became a metaphor for the frustrations Americans face with the healthcare system. Mark and Jason discussed the pervasive inequities in healthcare, using the "assassination" and ensuing manhunt as a tongue-in-cheek symbol for the bureaucracy that undermines patient care.
Well it has been a whirlwind of a week for Mark and Jason the purveyors of our show. After the Thanksgiving show they were told by the station head that the FCC was alerted to them and their cussing and liberal ways on this FOX station. And evidently after a conversation from Arlington, VA....Mark and Jason were removed from the radio. So this show is more a break down of what happened and how we view the entire situation. I'm sure other broadcasters will find out the truth for themselves and probably end up in the same boat we are with it. As of the taping of this show, the gentlemen DID NOT KNOW their fates. There special guest on this episode is Matt Krueger!

A lot has changed since he was on the show so we pick his brain to find out what he thinks about Kamala Harris as well as her VP pick Tim Walz. This leads to a discussion about local elections and the August 6th primaries. Corey Bush seems to be one of the individuals who was beat out in her primary and the gentleman discuss why this was. Next up we have a tournament of pop culture for the best Marvel character in the MCU. Jonathan considers himself sort of a savant when it comes to the Marvel Universe and so we wanted to really put it up to him and see what he thought about the best characters overall. Could it be Spider-Man, could it be the Hulk? What about Thor or even Stan Lee himself. Download and find out! Finally there are a lot of deadly jobs in the world but there are only six that top the list. Do you do one of these jobs? Would you be willing to do one of these jobs? The crew breaks down the list and we find out what are the most dangerous jobs on planet Earth in 2024.
Mark Bland and Jason Kull welcome guests Jenna Roberson & Political candidate Bethany Mann! Plus discussion on Tim Walz as the new VP candidate and a conversation with Jenna Robersona and Bethany Mann about Political Strategy!
On this Episode of the QNow we welcome political candidates Liz Callahan and Amanda Taylor running in Missouri for House district 103. Also Jenna Roberson steps back in to hang out and chat. Joe Biden has exited the 2024 Presidential Race and Republicans are heated that he can choose not to run for president. It's because their guy looks like the old and dementia ridden candidate at this point. The guys discus all the ramifications and what the future is looking like for the USA! Amanda Taylor and Lizz Callahan are running for State House District 103 in the St. Charles County area! These two amazing ladies jump in to discuss their campaigns and some of the topics they are focusing on in the up coming August 6th primary election! Affordable Housing, Social Justices and many more topics are on the table as both these two join the show to get the word out! Finally, there are appetizers and then their are finger foods. Both seem to be in the same vein, but maybe there is slight differences. On this episode they focus on the FINGER FOODS specifically and break down if this Ranker list holds up with thousands of people voting on all these foods. Will Pizza reign supreme, what about Chocolate Strawberries...so many options...all figured out on this episode!
On this episode of the show, Andy Echle Joins to discuss the attempted assassination of Donald Trump and going out to Vegas to play in the World Series of Poker. First up, Donald Trump was almost assassinated by a man name Thomas Crooks. Crooks was able to get on a roof of a building and take a few shots at the former President. The guys discuss the events that took place and how this bodes for the country moving forward in the 2024 election. Next up, is the Republican National Convention and all the stories coming out of it. Even the boring Trump speech at the end. But before all that, JD VANCE was picked as the VP candidate to go along with Trump. Mark and the guys seem to think that JD is a yes man and that he brings nothing of value to the table. The gentlemen discuss this new nominee pick! Finally, there are ways to tell if someone is very intelligent. How many of these things do you tick off on the list...so how intelligent are you? And Andy discusses his trip out to Las Vegas to play in the World Series of Poker tournament. Now Andy didn't win the millions of the main table, but he held his own when had to play...plus he discusses being sick while on vacation...which always sucks!
Welcome welcome welcome to another amazing episode of The Qnow with Mark Bland and Jason Kull. This weeks guest is former candidate and political advisor to the show John Scheper! First things first, it seems that Biden is still battling the demons from the Debate a few weeks ago. Everyone wants him to step down and/or pivot to another candidate. But are there any that could potentially handle the onslaught from the Trump supporters. The guys discuss the debate, and the options on the board for Biden moving forward. Next up it seems that Project 2025 (we discussed on the last show) is gaining a ton of steam from the right people. It looks a like a doom and gloom novel that republicans seem to be alright with. It strips people of many services including public education? Now are they really gonna try and find a baby sitter now, when their kids were fine in school as it stands currently? Finally we have three so we are doing the Mid-summer classic Tournament of Pop Culture. This time we focus on baseball movies and which one is the best overall. Mark saw this bracket broke down somehwere else and couldn't believe that one movie beat all the others. The Qnow is setting out to prove what is the best overall baseball movie of all time!
Jenna Roberson is back to discuss her running for a seat with the Missouri State House of Reps and joining to help breakdown Project 2025. First up, There was a presidential debate and everyone knows that Biden looked bad, but the guys and gals breakdown more of this debate and put the proper context on how things should be viewed. Yes, Biden is old, but he answered the questions. Trump is also the same old and he didn't answer any of them really. Would you rather have a focused leader or some idiot that is all over the place. They will discuss. Trump is battling tons of issues right now, but the SCOTUS just decided that they are unwilling to hear the Trump immunity case before the election in November. Problem for everyone is that this is pretty open and shut. But with this new decision, it's making people think that the president gets unlimited power and control. Which makes Trump look dangerous and bad person. Finally, Project 2025 is a sycophant's fever dream of revamping the federal government into a conservative windfall. Replacing all employees with ones only loyal to the republican party and Trump (currently) as well as forcing other issues and creating a generally not useful government system. It's really a scary thing and the guys talk about all the aspects and whether this will come to pass or not.
The debates are upon us and everyone is chomping at the bit to find out what is going to happen. First up, Mark and Jason Kull decide to do a little housekeeping and promote a parade walking event in the St. Louis area for multiple municipalities. But when we start talking, we start discussing. And when that happens we want news of the week. This week Trump lost a few keep battles for primaries and they were some eye opening losses. Especially since he has a favorable Republican national position. But alas, Trump lost those players because they got primaried. This leads to talk of Boebert, MTG and reckless people on the fringe of politics. Next up It's a Tournament of Pop culture: Best 2000's Comedy movie. Oh yes, the movies that brought Rated R comedy back to the movie theaters. And we have 4 strong sections: Will Ferrell, Jud Apatow, Teen and Wildcard. Which movie will stand above the others as the best comedy of the 2000's. Well tune in and find out. Finally, Quid Pro Quo is a bad thing. But with current SCOTUS members being chastised for accepting LAVISH GIFTS (their words) for services to help their businesses through the courts...It looks like the court is able to be bought. Only after Trump did the world even consider the court could be bought. Mark and Jason look at this new decision where they made it legal to accept gifts for services. As long as they don't say what the service is today, and wait a while to throw you a couple bones for it. Our country is literally a cheap house for sale at all times. Crazy this is 2024.
Transition is a part of life. It can be difficult. But not for the best radio duo in the STL and on FOX News KYRO! No guest this week, so it's just Mark and Jason. But to start things off, it seems Trump is in more trouble with moves he has been making in business. This time regarding his campaign and a company that recieved 3.1 Million in donations in 6 total months. The company is not known to be in the Political game, but it's Trumps war chest that paid out the money to them. The guys discuss! Up next might be the craziest story we have ever discussed on this St. Louis based radio program in it's history. This give the werewolf show with Jonathan a run for it's money! Cori Bush is a Congressional Rep from St. Louis City. Cori Recently went on an interview and stated that she can heal people through touch. Like jesus. She even recounted the story for PBS and their news division...which led to a viral clip of her explaining she can do it. It's wild and make Jay and Mark ask so many other questions...take a listen and enjoy this ride. Finally a Ranker review was what was in order for this episode. And the guys deliver on this promise at all levels. This might be one of the best topics ever. Best Action Movie Duo's/Partners! There are so many great action movies...Tango and Cash...Riggs and Murtaugh...Dom and Brian. With so many options and some iconinc ones in there, it is tough to figure out if this list holds up or falls apart. Find out on this episode of the QNow.
Susan Shumway joins the show to talk about running for state congress in Missouri's 108th district! First up, state politics always baffles the minds of our stalwart national politico's such as Jason Kull and Mark Bland. But not for Jenna roberson who is also a candidate and running for a state representative position too. But why do the idiots act the way they do. The team discusses and then onto the real game, can Jenna get a debate with her oppoenent at all for their upcoming matchup? Everyone discusses! Next up, Reverend Susan Shumway is in the middle of her third attempt at office but that has only made her stronger and smarter regarding campaigning. Susan joins to discuss growing up and where the penchant to jump into politics comes from. Susan also puts forth her positions and stances for Heatlhcare, Abortion and Education...along with many other things she wants to focus on once she wins in November. Finally it was Hunter Bidens day in court, but to what extent did it help his family??? Well it did not. It made Trump look more guilty and like the system was still working good...and...it helped the democrats moving forward with their arguments against Trump. But Hunter didn't want to spend 25 yrs in prison and this was not some false flag black op BS thiing the republicans made up to try and downplay Biden's issues. The team discusses the impact moving forward toward November!
On this episode of The QNow we welcome Missouri State Senate candidate Matt Williams to the show. Also joining us on this episode is the first lady of the Qnow, Jenna Roberson. So Elon must decided that he was going to give the Brazilian Rainforest his Starlink internet Wi-Fi. And of course a Brazilian tribe was super excited to get access to this. The only problem was the same problem parents have with all of their children and the internet...the people couldn't handle it. We discuss what happened and other aspects of this attempt at helping those who do not have access. Matt Williams joins to discuss his plans for if/when he is elected for the Missouri State Senate. The St. Charles native decided to throw his hat into the ring and focus on the importance of education and all it's tenets in Missouri. Plus Matt ways in on the Trump verdict and what thinks (being a lawyer also)! Plus they discuss so other focal points that Matt wants to focus on when he gets to Jeff City. Finally, A radio show is a family of sorts. Everyone works together and not always is the team on the same page. Well Mark went out and found a game where everyone on the team needs to discuss and defend their stances on various topics like: Pizza Toppings, Burger Toppings, Music and other topics.

Next up John Combest is a multi-talented individual, but he cut his teeth in the early days of the internet creating a Missouri version of the Drudge Report. It became wildly successful, but along with that also came some bad things. This lead to John writing a book about Stalking and how to deal with it. John is the author of: Stalking, Harassment, Internet Trolling: A Guide to Recovering and Rebuilding After Online Attacks. Mark and Jason discuss why he wrote the book and some of the things people need to factor into their dealings with people that stalk them. And finally, The guys get a chance to talk about some national politics. Trump is in the news for a bevy of things, but Mark straight asks John if he is going to vote for Trump in the November election. John answers honestly and this leads to a very good discussion about viewing Trump from the conservative mindset moving forward in 2024. All this and he does THE HOT SEAT! Check it out and share it with a friend!
On this episode of the QNow comedian Jonathan made returns to hang out and talk about politics. First up it seems that Donald Trump is grabbing more people from Capitol Hill than Capitol Hill actually has. A group of congressional individuals showed up at Trump's New York trial to support him. All while there is tons of American Business that needs to be handled in Washington DC and these people are gallivanting off to other cities. The gentleman discuss. Plus Biden accepts the terms to 2 debates with Trump and this is going to be a shxt show.. Next up it's the great 2024 video game draft. The guys go around in a three round draft picking the best video game characters for their team. All teams can be judged at all times and this quickly gets out of hand. But who is really the person pushing the issue here... You listen and you decide. Who had the better team? Who's got the strongest character? Did one of your favorites make the list? First up, Donald Trump has been hit with multiple issues during these trials and everyone finally thought the GAG orders would be the final straw. Except it wasn't and they offered him a 10th gag order and threat of arrest. 9 others weren't good enough? This is wild!
