Ein neues Format geht an den Start und wie schon in der Vergangenheit präsentiert Headlock die erste Folge als Bonus im Free-Feed und auf YouTube. In unserem neuen Format Year 1 beleuchten wir das erste Jahr eines Talents bei einer neuen Promotion. Für die Premierenepisode finden sich daher Headlock-Host Olaf Bleich und Michael "Shaggy" Schwarz zusammen und knüpfen sich das Debüt-Jahr des Undertakers vor. Von seinem ersten Auftritt bei der WWF Survivor Series 1990 als Mystery Partner des Million Dollar Teams bis zum ersten großen Titelgewinn und der Fehde mit Hulk Hogan: Der Undertaker sorgte bei der World Wrestling Federation für Angst und Schrecken. Was aber geschah zwischen diesen beiden großen Meilensteinen in der Karriere des Undertakers: Was wurde aus seiner Fehde mit dem Ultimate Warrior? Welche Matches bestritt der Taker bei House Shows und wie veränderte sich der Charakter in diesem ersten Jahr?
Bis heute gilt "Rowdy" Roddy Piper als Vorbild und Inspiration für viele Wrestler: Nicht nur seine Matches, aber sein Können am Mikrofon ist bis heute prägend. Nicht zu Unrecht gilt Piper als der beste Bösewicht aller Zeiten und als einer der ersten coolen Schurken im Wrestling-Geschäft. Headlock-Host Olaf Bleich und Michael "Shaggy" Schwarz widmen sich im ausführlichen Personality-Podcast der einzigartigen Karriere von "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.
