BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO ARE PERSECUTED

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Monday| November 29th| 21 ******************************* *BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO ARE PERSECUTED* Matthew 5:10(KJV) _Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake_ : _For theirs is the kingdom of heaven_ In my early life as a young believer in Christ Several years ago, I saw persecution, it was a close relative whom his father practically sent him out of the house simply because he was propagating the kingdom. This brother went out after series of pleading with the father and intervention from some quarter, he went out and was staying with another friend close to the house where his father stays. Eventually the father got saved and soon became one off and likely men as the apostle. What is the meaning of being persecuted for righteousness sake? What is the implications of being righteous. To be righteous means to be abstained from things that could attract filthiness in our lives. *Those who portraits in their lives this character will be sons of God.* Being such will bring persecution from those of the world who do not understand such life style (Act14:22; Gal 4:29; 2Tim 2:3-10). Several Christian today are being persecuted because they refuse to walk and operate in darkness of this world (1 Pet. 3:14; 4:4). *Jesus' list of people who are blessed, which we know as the Beatitudes, continues to grow* . The word used for blessed can sometimes mean happy. However, in this context, mere feeling is not the point. In fact, some people Jesus mentioned may feel deep unhappiness due to their circumstances (Matthew 5:1–9). Despite hard situations, however, *they are blessed they are doing what is right and will experience eternal good in the kingdom of heaven* . Now Jesus says those persecuted for the *sake of righteousness are blessed,* *and part of the kingdom of heaven* . His early preaching ministry has focused entirely on this kingdom. Both Christ and John the Baptist have called the Jewish people to repent of sin *, to be ready for the kingdom of heaven* (Matthew 3:1–2; 4:17). John made it clear that nobody would be able to enter it simply because they were Jewish. Bearing fruit, being used by God for good, being faithful to God in your choices, these have been described as the signs of those who would enter the kingdom Messiah would bring to earth. The implication here is that those being persecuted have some choice in the matter. In other words, *they did not choose to avoid doing what is right, in order to avoid being harassed or harmed.* *They made a conscious choice to honor God, and to be faithful to Him, despite persecution from those who are unrighteous* . Beloved, what is your righteousness content. Are you still righteousness? Are you still in the world enjoying yourself, Jesus bids to Come. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father, grant me grace to be righteous in this perverse world of enterprise. *MEDITATION* Matthew 7:1-20 *SURE PROPHECY* I prophecy into your life and destiny, timely Helpers who Gods has sent your way will locate you in Jesus name. *Shalom* : Apostle Thomas Adegbile Senior Pastor Revealed Life Christian Centre Akure, Nigeria 08035868741

BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Thursday| November 25th| 21 ********************************* *BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART* Matthew 5:8 (KJV) _Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God._ What does it mean to be pure in heart? What is the biblical implications of being pure in heart. *To be pure in heart means, to have a single-minded commitment to God* , *not double minded distraction.* _Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded_ .(James 4:8.) *The purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith* , (1Tim 1:5). _I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day_ , (2Tim 1:3). _Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart_ . (2 Tim. 2:22) *The pure in heart are those who do not hold out on God* . The word “pure” carries the idea of simplicity from the root meaning clean, *unmixed, without alloy* . The Greek used “pure” for corn sifted of chaff, carrying the idea of unmixed. A *pure heart is unmixed* , *not holding anything contrary to God's will.* It *operates with singleness of motive* . The only motive is the singleness of heart to do God's will. _But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart_ . (Mt 5:28). But let your Yes be Yes, and your No, No. For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. (Mt 5:37) The Implications of this is that for this is that, the pure in heart shall see God. Seeing God here means fellowship with God. This is seeing now in time. *If we commit to unadulterated devotion to knowing God* , *we will fellowship with Him.* One who sees God *is without a divided self, a person of singleness of heart.* *This requires exacting self assessment.* Jesus answered and said to him, _“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him_ . (Jn 14:23). The direct interpretation probably refers to seeing God in the Messiah. *Those with a single minded heart for God will experience fellowship with Him* . _Purity in heart has to do with integrity of personhood_ . This person operates with unmixed motives. *Purity of heart commits to one purpose* ; *it does not allow any mixture of purpose.* A pure heart and a clean heart are not the same. *God cleansed our hearts when we accepted the finished work on the cross to forgive us of all sin past, present, and future* . However, a pure heart does not allow itself to be diverted by things outside God's will. It does not concern itself with outside options but with clarity of purpose in pleasing God. In Ps 86:11 _Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name_ . You cannot serve two master at a time (Mt 6:24; 1 Co 7:35). Beloved, what is the content of your hearts? What is the dimensions of the purity of your heart.? May the lord grant you a correct heart in Jesus name. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father in the name of Jesus give me a correct and pure heart, focused on you *MEDITATION* Mathew 7:1-0 *SURE PROPHECY* As God helped Esther in a strange land, the lord will help you where you least expect in Jesus name. *LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Wednesday| November 24th| 21 ********************************** *BLESSED ARE THE MERCIFUL* _Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Matthew_ 5:7(KJV) What does it mean to be merciful? What is the implications of been merciful? "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy" (Matthew 5:7). Are those who realize their own spiritual poverty and are merciful to others. They sympathies and have genuine pity on others. They seek to relieve the suffering of others because God has mercy on them in relations to their sin. (Psalm 41:1, Heb 2:17. This is contrary to the legalistically proud who seek to judge, the meek have mercy ( James 2:13). Their mercy will reap mercy from ( Matt. 18:35; Luke 7:27). *Generally, the merciful are those people who are affected by the suffering of others.* *They are affected in a manner that causes them, not only to offer encouragement to one who is experiencing a rough spot in his life, but also to work to lessen his suffering* . The New Unger's Bible Dictionary defines mercy as a form of love determined by the state or condition of its objects. Their state is one of suffering and need, while they may be unworthy or ill deserving. *Mercy is at once the disposition of love respecting such, and the kindly ministry of love for their relief.* " *Mercy is the kind, compassionate treatment of an offender, adversary, prisoner in one's power; compassion where severity is expected, or deserved* . Among its synonyms are leniency, compassion, forgiveness, pity, kindness, tolerance, charity, benevolence, clemency, and forbearance. The primary idea behind mercy is rendering a kindness when harshness or condemnation is expected or even deserved. A merciful person looks beyond the present state of affairs to the potential good that may result from his compassionate handling of the matter. He is willing to forgo the other's punishment, his just deserts, or his own desire for revenge in an attempt to produce good fruit from a bad situation. The nature of God is to be merciful to those He calls. We know that He calls the weak, foolish, and base (I Corinthians 1:26-28), those who are undesirable in society's eyes and guilty of sin in His eyes. He extends great mercy to them, redeeming them from the death penalty and setting them on the path toward eternal life in the Kingdom of God. In doing so, He sets us an example to follow (1peter 2:21)5:7 This should not be the major reason for being kind. It is a promise we can claim whenever we get into a bind. He who enabled us to be kind and generous to others in their need will respond by providing us a helper in our need. Jesus says in Luke 6:38 says, _Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom._ For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. This is very wonderful motivation for those who believe God's Word, but perhaps there is even greater. Being merciful and kind is evidence that God has given us His Spirit, that the love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts and is producing fruit( Gal 5:22-26). For proof of the importance of passing on God's kindness expressed in His calling, forgiving, giving us His Spirit, and promising we will receive yet more mercy for being merciful, listen to Jesus' words in Matthew 25:34-36, 40 The grace to be compassionate and to be merciful , receive it *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father, grant me grace for merciful. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Monday| November 22nd| 21 ******************************* *BLESSED ARE THEY WHICH DO HUNGER AND THIRST* _Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled_ . Matt 5:6 (KJV). What does it mean to be hunger and thirst for righteousness? What is the biblical implications to be righteous in this modern day. Understanding the fourth beatitude turns on understanding what Jesus meant by righteousness. In ancient Judaism, righteousness meant *to acquit, vindicate, restore to a right relationship* . The righteous are those who maintain right relationships, with God and with the people around them. On the basis of right relationships, those who commit infractions are acquitted of guilt. *Have you received the blessing of being filled with right relationships* ? It flows from meekness (the third beatitude) because we can only form right relationships with others when we cease making all our actions revolve around ourselves. *Do you hunger and thirst for right relationships with God, with your co-workers, with your family, and your community* ? Hunger is a sign of life. We are genuinely hungry for good relationships if we yearn for others for their own sake, not just as snack food for meeting our own needs. If we see that we have God's grace for this, we will hunger and thirst for right relationships, not only with God, but with the people with whom we work or live. Jesus says that those who have this hunger will find their appetites filled. *It is easy to see the wrongs in our workplaces and to want to do battle to fix them. If we do this, we are hungering and thirsting for righteousness, desiring to see wrongs righted.* The Christian faith has been the source of many of the greatest reforms in the work world, perhaps most notably the abolition of slavery in Great Britain and the United States, and the genesis of the Civil Rights movement. But again, the flow of the beatitudes is important. We don't take on these battles in our own strength, but only in recognition of our own emptiness, mourning our own unrighteousness, submitting our power to God. *Beloved, Righteousness exalt a nation and sin is a reproach.* Until your righteousness exceed that of the Pharisees and Sadducee, one good requirement for entering the kingdom is to be righteous. *The dimensions of hunger for God determine the dimensions of hunger for righteousness.* Righteousness must become our lifestyle as believers. Being righteous is a characteristic we found in the life and ministries of our lord Jesus Christ. Hunger for righteousness is a functions of the fact that you have a right relationship with the Master. I pray that the Lord will cause more hunger for his presence in your live in Jesus name. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father in the name of Jesus, create in me more hunger for you. *MEDITATION* Matthew 6:1-10 *SURE PROPHECY* I decree tireless helpers sent to help you this Month to locate you in Jesus name. Matthew 5:5_ (KJV). What does it mean to be meek? What is the benefit of this be attitude Jesus continues to describe the Beatitudes, sayings about who is blessed and why, especially as it relates to the coming kingdom of heaven. *Now Jesus declares those who are meek to be blessed because they will inherit the earth.* The word meek does not mean weak, though that's how many misinterpret it. The word is best understood as gentleness, or a refusal to take control by brute force or manipulation. Meekness, from a Christian perspective, is about faith. It is about trusting God to win the battle in the end instead of going to extremes to win the battle on our own terms. The concept is often referred to as strength under control, rather than strength seeking control. This is exactly backwards from the world's common understanding. Most believe the world to be controlled by those strong and ambitious enough to take what they want. The world belongs to the rich, the dominant, and the bold. Jesus flips that around. *He declares that the true inheritors of the earth are the meek* . Once again, Jesus' meaning here is in connection to those who have faith in Him. If we belong to the Lord, and if the Lord becomes king of the earth, as the Messiah will, then all those who are His will inherit the earth with Him. *Meekness is not a requirement for becoming a true Christian, but meekness is something which naturally comes from having a saving knowledge of Christ* . It should be said that true meekness takes courage; we must fight with ourselves to trust God's plan and His character. It's hard to be humble and patient when we cannot fully understand how good will win in the end. God told Aaron and Miriam in Numbers 12:3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.). There are blessing attached to meek. Beloved, how meek are you. *LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Friday| November 19th| 21 ******************************* *BLESSED ARE THEY THAT MOURN* _Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew_ 5:4 (KJV) What does it mean to mourn? What does it mean to be comforted? This mourning has to do with mourning over sin and not over a loss of a person or object. *This is mourning over loss of fellowship with the Lord* . The word for mourn is the strongest word in the Greek for mourning. It is the word used for mourning for the dead. When some one lost his life, people come together to mourn. But in this context mourning is not self pity. *We do not use pity for self as the instrument of forgiveness* . *_Our forgiveness comes from the One who died on the cross for our sins*_ . That is why there is blessedness in conviction over sin. (Romans 10:9-10) *Blessed emphasizes God's part in forgiveness* . Our comfort does not rest in who we are or even in the act of mourning but in God's provision. *God provides for us in grace* . *God frees us from the penalty of sin through the death of Christ on the cross* . There remains no barrier between God and man. God forgives us because of who Jesus is and what He did on the cross. *He does not forgive us because of the sincerity or intensity of our mourning* . For they shall be comforted. The comfort here has to do with forgiveness. God directly comforts His people by forgiving their sin (Romans 3:23-26). In the immediate context, all mourning will cease when the King sets up His kingdom because He will pardon the sins of Israel. Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the Lord's hand double for all her sins. (Is 40:1-2). *Those who mourn sense their personal bankruptcy and utilize God's forgiveness as a tool for them* . What is the blessing attached to those who mourn over the state of their spiritual poverty? *Spiritual poverty comes from conviction of personal sin* . *Those who seek close fellowship with the Lord mourn over their sin by seeing sin the way God sees it* . *They sense their spiritual poverty and unworthiness before God* . Consider how David viewed his adultery with Bathsheba. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. (Psalm 51:17). God blesses us because we have His forgiveness by the sacrifice of his sons death( Christ) for our sins. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace........ (Eph 1:7). Beloved, you cannot continue in sins and say grace be abound. May I ask how comfortable are you with that sins in your life. Can you come boldly to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus. Heb 4:16. Mourn now over your sinful life and regain your consciousness over that sins in your life and you will be comforted in Jesus name. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father, In the name of Jesus, I come to the saving grace of your cleansing blood, help me Lord. *MEDITATION* John 3:1-6 *SURE PROPHECY* I decree into your life and destiny, your exact and expected miracle this month will delivered to you in Jesus name. *LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Thursday| November 18th| 21 ********************************* *BLESSED ARE THE POOR IN SPIRITS* _Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the of heaven_ . Mathew 5:3 We are in a world of spiritual arrogance, spiritual poverty is never in any one's diary. In the fallen world, poverty of spirit may seem to be a hindrance to success and advancement. Apparently, this is an illusion. What does it to be poor in the spirits? The poor in spirit are those who cast themselves on God's grace. Happy are those who are not proud, conceited or arrogant concerning their spiritual relationship with God. One must recognize his humanity, his spiritual poverty and destitution(Romans 7:24-25). One must empty himself of self - reliance and learn to humble himself before God. Those with such an attitude of mind will submit to the kingdom reign of God( Lk 6:20; Isa 61:3). *Those who personally acknowledge their spiritual bankruptcy before God.* The tax collector in the temple, beating his breast and chest by saying, God, be merciful to me, a sinner (Luke 18:9-14). *It is an honest confession that we are sinful and utterly without moral virtues needed to please God* . It is the opposite of arrogance. In its deepest form, *it acknowledges our desperate need for God* . Jesus is declaring that it is a blessing to recognize our need to be filled by God's grace. *Blessed are those who realize they are spiritually bankrupt, for this realization turns them to God,* without whom they cannot fulfill what they are created to do and be. Much of the rest of the sermon rips away from us the self delusion that we are capable of acquiring a state of blessedness on our own. *It aims to produce in us a genuine poverty of spirit* . What is the practical result of this blessing? If *we are poor in spirit, we are able to bring an honest appraisal of ourselves to our work* . We don't inflate our résumé or boast about our position. We know how difficult it is to work with people who cannot learn, grow, or accept correction because they are trying to maintain an *_inflated picture of themselves_* . So we commit ourselves to honesty about ourselves. Do you remember that even Jesus, when he started working with wood, must have needed guidance and instruction. At the same time, we acknowledge that only with God at work within us can we put Jesus' teachings into practice on the job (Phil 2:12-13). We seek God's presence and strength in our lives each day as we live as Christians where we work. For instance, who is likely to be more successful in the long run? A leader who says, Fear not, I can handle anything, just do as I say; or a leader who says, together, we can do it, but everyone will have to perform better than ever before. If there was ever a time when an arrogant, self promoting leader was considered greater than a humble, empowering leader, that time is passing, at least within the best organizations. Beloved, what is the spiritual state of your heart, are you spiritually arrogant or poor. I pray that you will encounter him afresh in Jesus name. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father, in the name of Jesus, give me a gentle heart, humble, self emptied life. *MEDITATION* Matthew 6: 1-11 *SURE PROPHECY* I prophecy into your life and destiny the unimaginable, the unexpected will happen to your life in the name of Jesus Christ. Whatever, battles you are facing is of the lord and not yours. Let Jesus fight your battles. There are differences between wining your battle and wining your war. We are not carrying on a physical war, but the battle for us is no less real. *We need to understand that we are not fighting for material success, earthly power, or social prestige* . We are not even trying to make our enemies look bad. The real issue is the victory or defeat of God's purpose for our lives. We must realize that we have merciless, implacable, and powerful spiritual enemies, so that such things as human cleverness, ingenuity, organizing ability, eloquent arguments, charm, or forcefulness of personality are simply not the answer. Those things may impress men, but they in no way impress demons. Those things are the weapons of carnality, of flesh. John 14:17(KJV) Jesus had referred to Himself as “the truth” a few verses earlier (John 14:6) and now the Holy Spirit was called the Spirit of truth. Not only would He indwell the believer permanently, but He is also the Spirit of truth (John 15:26;  16:13). *Jesus had given the corpus of His teaching, but the Spirit would inform the church of God's truth* . *The Spirit's major role is to communicate this truth. He is the successive witness to God's truth to people since Jesus' departure to heaven.* The Holy Spirit reveals God's truth (1Cor 2:10-11), inspires it in words (1Cor 2: 12-13), and illumines or makes God's truth clear (1Cor. 2:14 -16). *Those who are not converted cannot connect to God's truth because they do not have spiritual life (1Cor 2:14)* . The world represents those who are in system of rebellion  against God. This system cannot accept the truth of God or the Spirit of truth because it is profoundly hostile against Him. Note that Jesus did not say that the world would not receive the Spirit but that it cannot receive Him. Yet this does not mean that there will not be some who will receive Him. It means that those operating under the world system will not be able to accept Him. Whom is in the neuter gender. This does not mean that the Holy Spirit is not a person, but it is simply a grammatical issue because whom agrees with Spirit, which is in the neuter. Elsewhere the masculine gender is used of the Holy Spirit as a person (John 14:26; 15: 26; 16: 7-8; 13-14). The Holy Spirit is invisible to lost people. *The world cannot perceive the Spirit; it cannot grasp how He works in the world. This is especially true when it comes to truth* . The world system begins with man and limits itself to finite knowledge. *The Spirit of truth functions supernaturally* ; it is only through the Spirit that people can break through finite understanding to infinite understanding. The world cannot personally know the activities of the Spirit because it does not have the means of doing so. It is no surprise that the world did not know the Spirit, because it did not know Jesus when He came into the world (John 1:10).It is impossible to become a Christian by operation bootstraps. People want to assume for themselves the right to determine what is true. If man begins with man, he will go no further than man. Finiteness can never find infiniteness. If God is the only infinite being, then man is at the mercy of God to reveal Himself. To use a philosophical term, man is logically at the mercy of God. If truth lies beyond finiteness, then the Holy Spirit must take the initiative to communicate what is real, and man must open his will to it. Beloved, Are you frustrated in the attempt to find God on your own terms, If so, why not let the Holy Spirit speak to you through the Bible. The Bible is God's revelation about His infinite being and His plan for you. LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS (Life Transforming Words) Day:175|Thursday|June 24th| 21 ************************************* THE SON OF MAN BE GLORIFIED. And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. John 12:23(KJV). Jesus begin to speak in paradoxes concerning his death, resurrection and ascension. This passage chronicles the winding down of Jesus public ministry. Jesus talks about his death, which he refers to as being glorified and lifted up and has a final exchange with the Jewish leaders who are intent on discrediting and killing him. Being glorified (doxazō) seems like a strange way to describe one's death, but we see this idea in the great Suffering as prophecy by prophet Isaiah See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. (Isaiah 52:13). Jesus seems to use being glorified to refer to his death, resurrection, and ascension. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified (doxazō). (John 7:39b) Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that they had done these things to him. (John 12:16b). Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus' glory and spoke about him. (John 12:41). To the men on the road to Emmaus, Jesus explained the Scriptures and then said: Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter his glory? (Luke 24:26) It's like us humans to think that suffering and pain are bad, and ease is good. But when do we learn the most. When do we make the greatest strides forward. When we're really struggling. We look back at some of those times and marvel how God has helped us. It's in the afflictions that God's glory shines its brightest (Rom 8:18-19). When a lame man walks. When a man born blind sees, the dead raised back to life, with all these, It's at times like that the Jesus glory peeks out for all to see. And on dark day of the cross, when Jesus says, It is finished, and breathes his last, his glory blazes out once more as the power of Satan and sin are broken, sin is atoned, and men and women are set free. One of the comforting verse of the scripture that has been comfort to believers is Hebrew 4:15. *It is not surprising that this is one of the most shared verses* . Christians often feel the weight of weakness. *It is comforting to know that Christ was tempted in the same way that we are* . *It is a great comfort to know that in the midst of our struggles we have one that truly understands what it means to be human* . It is also comforting to know that Christ endured the difficulty of temptation and he did it without sin. It is one thing to have someone empathize as a fellow struggler. It is quite another thing to have someone empathize but to do so from the position of a conqueror. It is also worth noting that Hebrews 4:15 provides the meat to a sandwich of exhortation. In Hebrews 4:14 we are told that since we have such a high priest we must hold fast our confession. And in Hebrews 4:16 we are encouraged to confidently draw near the throne of grace. On one side you have a subtle warning that to not hold fast our confession will lead to us rejecting the only fitting high priest to atone for our sins. *And on the other side we have a precious encouragement to boldly enter into the presence of the Lord to receive the grace that has been purchased for us* . Christ is like an immovable doorstop into the throne room of heaven. Grace is always ours. Our High Priest,  Jesus Christ, was trained perfected, as it were for the position He now holds. The Bible says that we will be priests and kings under Him (Rev 5:10). A God being had never experienced life as a human being until the Word became flesh, when He was encompassed with the same kind of frame we are. He then also had a mind that was subject to satan the Devil, if He would allow it. He suffered many things: He went through difficulties and angers. Beloved, always be encouraged in the lord, in that life threatening challenges Jesus is there as your high priest because he has gone through what you are going through now. Remain focus in him. *LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:173|Tuesday|June 22nd| 21 ************************************** *THE JUDGEMENT OF THIS WORLD* _Now is the judgement of this world: now shall the Prince of this world be cast out_ John 12:31 (KJV). There was a decisive point coming in the life of Jesus Christ whereby He would draw both Jew and Gentile to Himself, defeat Satan, and pay for the sins of mankind. John used the word ''now'' two times in this verse. The time had come for the Son of Man to be gloried. The word Cast out is the language of violence, of warfare. Jesus is in the business of judgment. The rallying point was when He was lifted up to the cross. The Lord now proceeded to the impact of the cross, that it represents judgment on the world. These Gentiles came at a time of the most significant events in salvation history. The world would be judged for its rejection of Christ. The death of Jesus Christ on the cross was a judgment on the world alone. Because Jesus paid the price for the sin of the world. The world will also judge itself by its actions toward Christ. The judgment is the cross of Christ. That judgment will dispossess the ruler of this world. Jesus death on the cross will strike a fatal blow to Satan. *Jesus would defeat the devil in the power by His death on the cross.* *Satan's authority over people was conquered by Christ* . He delivered them out of the domain of darkness. The idea here is not that the defeat of the devil would end active evil in the world. The thought is that the devil was decisively condemned by Jesus death on the cross. *The death of Christ finally judged him* . The Holy Spirit will make that fact evident by conviction (John 16:11). *The cross is a symbol of victory in God's viewpoint* . Satan will go through four dimensions of cast out. He was to be cast out at the cross. He was cast out of heaven to earth previously(Rev 12:10). He will be cast into the bottomless pit.(Rev 20:3). He will be cast into the lake of fire(Rev 20:10). *Christ will reign where Satan is cast out.* (Re 11:15; Rev. 12:9-10). The world is a victim of the deceptions of Satan. People follow demonic delusions that lead them away from the truth in Jesus. *Satan seeks to sponsor unbiblical ideas and false belief systems and ideology, through which he seeks to gain dominance over the individual soul and the human race* . Jesus, however, judged this false religious system on the cross. That was His first act against Satan. The final act is when Jesus casts him into the lake of fire forever. The cross demonstrates what is wrong with the world, its philosophy and values. Jesus will expose what is so bad about this world system. The defeat of the devil at the cross does not mean that the believer will not face temptation to sin again. It simply means that the believer has participated in the death of Jesus so that the devil no longer has authority over him. The devil has been decisively condemned, but believers must deal with the present extant evil in the world. And I pray, this event will not stand against us at the judgement day of the saints. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father in the name of Jesus, grant me grace to walk in the consciousness if your death and resurrection. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* Job 25-29 *MEDITATION* Revelation 12:1-20 *SURE PROPHECY* . *LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:172|Monday|June 21st| 21 ************************************* *WHO IS THIS SON OF MAN* _The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever_ : and how sayest thou, _The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man_ ? John 12:34(KJV). A crowd of people was speaking with Jesus in Jerusalem, not long before Passover (John 12:20–22). In this conversation, Jesus has mentioned His impending death, and received a response from heaven, in the form of audible words (John 12:23–28). Some in the crowd dismissed this as thunder, while others ascribed it to an angel (John 12:29). *_Jesus pointed out that these signs were meant for the people as proof they needed to respond_* (John 12:30–31). All people are faced with a certain level of evidence for God (Romans 1:18–20), and the crucifixion of Christ represents the ultimate call that people must either accept or deny (John 12:32–33). Old Testament prophecy looked forward to the Messiah. However, that perspective didn't include a clear separation of time between events. Most people in this crowd expect the Messiah will come and immediately establish a permanent rule on earth. *The question being asked here implies that Jesus words are not falling on completely deaf ears* . Being lifted up, to some, might suggest ascending to heaven, while others might understand the veiled reference to crucifixion. Either way, this implies that Jesus will not be on earth forever. Earlier, Jesus used the title Son of Man for Himself (John 12:23). This is part of the people's confusion, so they ask Jesus to clarify what He means. There is no doubt that He has claimed that phrase, but the people don't understand how that connects to being lifted up. In a sense, they're asking if Jesus means Son of Man in a different way than He's been using it. His answer will flow from prior comments that there's a clear choice between belief and disbelief, and a person's time to make that decision is limited (John 12:35–36). None believing Israel expected a triumphant Messiah, so they questioned whether Jesus could be the Messiah. Daniel 7:13-14 said that the Son of Man would establish an eternal kingdom. It was difficult for these Jews to reconciled conquering Messiah with a dying one. It is important to approach the Bible without biase. Nonbelievers reject Christ because of their biases. These prejudices are of greater value and importance to them than what God has to say explicitly in His Word. *SHALL WE PRAY* :Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I operate in the dynamic faith. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* Job 25-29 *MEDITATION* John 4:1-10 *SURE PROPHECY* . Neither hath this Man Sinned

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:171|Sunday|June 20th| 21 ************************************** *NEITHER HATH THIS MAN SINNED* _Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents_ : _but that the works of God should be made manifest in him_ . John 9:3(KJV)   several people today, have this erroneous mindset that ones some is afflicted is either the person has committed a sin or suffering from a punishment due to his inadequacy. Not all suffering is due to ones sin or not. Jesus  replied to His disciples' question in verse 2, about who sinned, this man or his parents. Instead of responding to His disciple's question about the cause of this man's blindness, Jesus gave the purpose of his situation. Jesus concern was not to assign blame nor point out who has sinned. His answer was that the man's blindness was not related to neither his sinning nor his parents. No specific sin caused this blindness. Jesus rejected the idea that our challenges in health and prosperity is the result of whether we sin or not. The man's blindness was not the result of his sin or his parents' sin. God does not give His favor strictly on whether we sin or not. Bildad was wrong in his view that only the righteous prosper (Job 8:6). *Sometimes the righteous suffer* . *God has a  providential design behind all suffering* . Jesus redirected the disciples' focus to the Father's mission for Him on earth. He shifted the emphasis from the healing of the blind man itself to the purpose of his healing. Jesus did not imply here that the man or his parents never sinned. His words do not contradict the idea that men sin universally (Rom 3:23). Rather, He meant that the blindness was not caused by a specific sin. There is no universal tenet implied in this statement, because it relates to Christ and His ministry on earth. Suffering is an opportunity for God to demonstrate His grace. All our personal sufferings are occasions whereby we can manifest God's glory in our lives (John 11:4). This is His purpose for us. Our pain is an opportunity to manifest God's grace on us and through us. God does not always reveal why He does what He does. We can praise Him in any circumstance because of His providential care. God never allows anything to happen to us that does not occasion His glory. God created us for His glory and not that we might be a success in life. If we do not understand this point then we will develop distortions of God's purpose for our lives. God uses our physical problems to manifest who He is and the dimensions of his mightiness. God showed His glory through the healing of the blind man. The blind man became a testimony when his eyes were healed to all that knew him to be a blind person. If we hold on to the idea that we must be free from trouble and that we must be comfortable in all situations, then we are not living in a real world. This will lead to resentment and hostility against God and others. The proper attitude is to give thanks in everything, not for everything (1The 5:18). This perspective will influence others on how to deal with pain in one's life (2 Cor 1: 3-11). Beloved, not every ugly situation you are going through is as a result of the sins you committed. Misfortune is not God's primary will. He works in us through and in our problems, he share in our challenges( Hebrew 4:14-15). Sin and its consequences is due to rebellion again Him. Suffering is a test of our faith. We do not deny or avoid pain because of this. Not all disease can be traced to sin. Some sinful behavior can result in sickness. Neither is the degree of sickness is not always related to sinful behavior (Luke 13:2-5). However, all sin is remotely due to the sin of Adam and Eve. And less remotely, personal sin is sometimes the cause of suffering. God does not give tit for tat in every situation. If our suffering is the direct result of our sin, then it occasions us to receive God's grace of forgiveness. Thomas Adegbile RLCC AKURE

Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. John 12:27-28(KJV) Jesus our lord came to this earth with the destiny of fulfilling the eternal and the mandate of the God. (John 18: 37). *The death of the cross was now at hand, even the disciples couldn't understand fully the purpose of his coming to earth* . The lord Jesus knew since the foundation of the world, that he was the sacrificial lamb( Rev 13:8). He repeated several time that he was going to be crucified for the sins of the world. When he was faced with the reality of death on the cross, a deep agony of death took over him. He pleaded in the garden of Gethsemane saying my father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me( 26:39). *It was God's cup of wrath over sin and the sinner, it caused him great anxiety.* This was the baptism he was distressed about(Luke 12:50). The dressing moment, he talked about frequently. He came to the world because of that moment. All epochs was pointing to it and in the spirits all prophet foresaw ahead (1Peter 1:10-11). *One of the greater sacrificial work of God at all times was consummated at that moment* (Hebrew 9:26). All creatures were focused on that moment that made Satan and his host trembled as it destroyed his last hope of victory. The immeasurable horror which Jesus went through was the physical agony (Psalm 22; 69; Isaiah 53), such as the the agonies of the soul (Isaiah 53:10-11), Which He should drink from was the bitter cup. This very was the most difficult moment which separate the relationship between father and son, and break the cords that binds the relationship of the trinity and this took him to the deepest darkness in his life experience. Behold loneliness came, despised by all and forsaken by his own father simply for your sin and mine. An understandable plea was denied when he shouted Father spare me of this hour. The conflict in the Gethsemane, the physical agonies, the deep darkness, what about dishonour, shame, contempt and mocking, to our lord, it was as if he was been faced with an insurmountable hurdle, all these were some of his reason for his pleading. Save me my father. He surrender totally to the will of the father and he said, the time has come. He knew the word of the scripture which says it pleased the lord to bruise him. It is as if he wanted to say should I now ask the father to relieve me from my responsibility. No I must go through this for this moment that the will of the father will honored (Matt. 26:45-46). Beloved, this was what Jesus went through purposely for our sake and this implies that who ever that didn't accepts this offered is condemned because of the wrath of God that is upon him. *Will you at this look up to that rugged Cross at Calvary where Jesus died, and that precious blood of the begotten son of the father was released to the earth, which cries for the atonement and propitiation of our sins* (Rom. 3:24-26), this happened so that we can be accepted in the beloved. Jesus says come, I will give you rest from all your labours. The hands that were nailed on the cross is still calling and he says come unto me. I pray you will not miss that glorious day in eternity in Jesus name. Shalom!!! SHALL WE PRAY. To the one we are the aroma from death to death, and to the other the aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things? 2Cor 2:15-16(KJV). It is God who works in our lives in order to give us victory by the gospel over the powers of darkness. *The Christian is the vessels through whom God propagates the aroma of the gospel of Christ* ( Matt.28:19-20; Mk. 16:15-16. The Greek word here for aroma means ''Osman'' Which refers to a smell that is given off which affects those who smell it. The preaching of the word of God is the aroma that is given off from the life of a Christian. It is a sweet smelling to those who favourably respond to the preaching of the gospel(Col. 1:18; 15:1-4). It is a sweet smelling because the gospel is the opportunity for the sinner to be redeemed from sin. It is an opportunity for freedom for those who have all their lives been subjected to the bondage of man made religion. (Gal 1:5). When the romans soldiers returned from battles, they would burn incense of victory. Some of the captives were set free, while others are executed. The fragrance of their incense meant life to some and death to others. However, the fragrance of the aroma of the Christian manifest that there is life. The gospel is life to those who are under a sentence of condemnation because of sin(Rom 6:3-6). However, to those who reject the gospel, it is sentence to condemnation (Thes 1:7-9; 1Peter 4:17). Beloved, what Paul is saying here is that there no hope for those who do not obey the gospel (Act 4:12; 2The 1:6-9). For those who choose to remain spiritually dead, the preaching of the gospel is the occasion where their spiritual death is manifested. But those who spiritually alive because their searching hearts, the gospel is life, for when they heat, they response (Act 18:9-10 Rom. 9:18; Phil 9:28; 1Peter 2:7). *LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:167|Wed|June 16th| 21 ************************************** *BOUGHT WITH A PRICE* _For you have been bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body._ 1Cor 6:20 (KJV) Beloved, Not only has God created us but He has redeemed us. We not only belong to the Lord because He formed and fashioned us out of the dust of the earth(Gen. 2:7), but we are His precious possession for a second reason. We have been bought with a price, the precious blood of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, and so we are challenged by Paul to glorify God in our body. *We are not only the Lord's by means of creation, but also because we have been purchased for an enormous price* . We have been redeemed by God from the subtle kingdom of darkness and so God not only created us but He has also purchased us. He owns us because He also loves us( Rom 3:24-25). Christ died for the sins of the whole world so that whosever believes on Him would not perish but have everlasting life(John 3:16-17, 36). And all who trust the Lord Jesus for salvation belong to God by right of creation and by right of ownership(Rom 10:9- 10), for we were bought with a price, redeemed from the pit of hell, by the blood of the Lamb. *The precious blood of the sinless Son of God was shed at Calvary as the purchase price for all who would one day trust in Him as Saviour, and God's ownerships of all believers dates back to that pivotal day in history when Christ cried out with a jubilant shout, It is finished.* We belong to God for we are His own purchased possession, which is a position of great honour and tremendous responsibility. *Our spirit, soul and body belongs to the Lord, for we are no longer slaves to sin, for He paid a high price to buy us back from the slave market of sin. A price is that which is paid for an article, and which, in the view of the seller, is a fair compensation, or a valuable consideration why he should part with it; that is the price paid is as valuable to him as the thing itself would be* . How important therefore is it to glorify God in our actions, attitudes, words and bodies. We can no longer think of our body as our own, thereby following our own selfish fancies, our carnal desires and our worldly lusts, for our body, soul and spirit belongs to the Lord. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit(1Cor 3:16), for we are in-dwelt by the Spirit of God and our body belongs to Him. He created us and he purchased us with His own blood. Let us therefore glorify God in all we are and in all we do. The language here is figurative. It does not mean that there was strictly a commercial transaction in the redemption of the church. 1. Christians have been redeemed, recovered to God; 2. This has been done by a valuable consideration. 3. This valuable consideration was the blood of Jesus, used as an atoning sacrifice, an offering, a ransom, which would accomplish the same great ends in maintaining the truth and honor of God. Therefore, may be called, figuratively, the price which was paid. 4. Nothing else could or would have done to this. There was no price which the sinner could pay, no atonement which he could make. 5. As *we are purchased, ransomed, redeemed, we are bound to devote ourself to God only, and to keep his commands, and to flee from a licentious life* . Glorify God, Honor God; live to him; and to please him(Matt. 5:16; John 12:28 17:1). Beloved, God did not only created you he died for you, by shedding his blood and purchased you as his own precious possession. _In your body, Let your entire person be subservient to the glory of God. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon_ . 1Corinthian 3:10(KJV). Describing Paul's work among the Corinthians, begins with a declaration of grace. He knew that his status as a worker in God's field, or on God's building, was based on God's undeserved favor, not on his own deserving or merit. It is an exalted thing to be a fellow worker with God. But God doesn't choose exalted people to do His work. It isn't anything in them that makes them worthy to be His worker, it is according to the grace of God. *The design or the plan of the building is from God; all things must be done according to the pattern which he has exhibited* (Hebrew 12:1-2);but the  execution of this plan was entrusted chiefly to Paul; he was the wise or experienced architect which God used in order to lay the foundation; to ascertain the essential and immutable doctrines of the Gospel those alone which came from God, and which alone he would bless to the salvation of mankind. Let each one take heed how he builds on it. There is only one foundation for the church. If it isn't founded on Jesus Christ, it isn't a church at all. So one can't build on any other foundation; but one can build unworthily on the one foundation. Each one's work will become clear, God will test the building work of all His fellow workers, so each one's work will become clear. Some build with precious things like gold, silver, precious stones; others build with unworthy materials like wood, hay, and straw. Let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. Let him take care that the doctrines which he preaches be answerable to those which I have preached; let him also take heed that he enjoin no other practice than that which is suitable to the doctrine, and in every sense accords with it. *LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:165|Monday|June 14th| 21 ************************************** *TREASURE IN EARTHEN VESSELS* _But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us_ . 2 Corin 4:7(KJV). 2Timothy 2:20 refers to the vast collection of jars, pots and similar objects that rich people had in their houses. Some of these were gold or silver, others were of wood or clay. *Clay is a kind of earth that people bake to make cheap pots* . Rich people needed these objects in order to store the things that they had bought. Of course, they would choose a gold or silver jar to store a very precious thing. Cheap pots were for the cheapest things. Such pots were not beautiful and they broke very easily. In 2 Corinthians 4:7, the idea of a pot that someone makes from the earth interested Paul. Genesis 2:7 says that God made the first man from the earth. Genesis 3:19 says that, at death, the human body returns to the earth. Like a cheap clay pot, the human body is very weak. Paul had suffered much. He understood how weak he really was. *Christ is present in the lives of God's people.* Paul compared that fact to a very precious object, as Jesus did in (Matt 13:44-46). *Then Paul said that God has done something extraordinary. God has placed Christ in the hearts of his people* . He is precious, but they are weak, like clay pots. Paul compared themselves to the church and to one another. He confesses his humanity and thus his frailty by referring to himself and others as pot made of clay (2Cor 5:1). The value of the pot is not the pot itself, but in what it contains. It is the power of the gospel that is important. *The gospel is exemplified by the fragile nature of the earthen pot who is the medium through whom it is proclaimed* . It was because of the grace of God that the gospel was entrusted to the hands human messenger as He whose strength was limited by their humanity (Judg 7:2,1; Col. 2:5). Due to the power of God, the messengers of God went forth with power regardless of their human fallibility. *God has a purpose for everything that he does. Therefore, there is a reason why God's power works through weak people* . It is so that other people can clearly see the power and greatness of God. If God only used powerful and impressive people, then other people would give honour to them, and not to God. However when God shows his power through weak people, he alone receives the honour. And I pray we will become a useful vessel in the hand of God in Jesus name. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father in the name of Jesus, thank for entrusting the gospel into my care thereby operating the dynamics of your spirit in me. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* Esther 8-10 *MEDITATION* Ezekiel 37 *SURE PROPHECY* : I stand against every evil prophecy spoken against your life and destiny from today they will never come to pass(Isaiah 7:7) in the name of Jesus Christ.

And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will_ . Acts 13:21-22(KJV). God Almighty in his mercy brought Israel out of the hand of tyrant king into their own city. Israel clamoured for a king after they had been on the land for about 400years(1Samuel 15:23-28). *They wanted to be like the nation around them. Though it was not God's original plan that Israel be ruled by an earthly king.* He allowed them to make Saul their king. It was God's original plan that He remain the heavenly king of Israel and rule them from heaven through the law he gave to them on mount Sinai. Israel accepted this system of government for forty years in the wilderness for about four hundred years in Canaan (1Sam. 10:20-24). *When Saul left God, God also left him. Because he forsook the will of God, he was subsequently rejected as King over Israel(1Sam 13:1,14* ; 15:23-28; Isa. 44:28). *The throne of David was given because David was a man after Gods own heart* (1Sam 13:14; 16:1-13; Psalm 89:20). He was a man who understood the dynamics of God's grace and mercy towards people and sought to do the will of God out of pure heart (Matt. 5:8). Due to this godly attribute in David in lifestyle, God promised David that in the future He would raise up one of his descendant to sit on his throne (2Sam. 7:12; Ps 132:11, Isa. 11:1,10; Jer. 23:5-6; Zach. 3:8; Matt 1: 21). Paul announced that Jesus was the one God that had raised up and seated on Davids throne(Luke 1:30-33; Acts 2:29-35. Jesus was the prophesied Messiah of Israel. Beloved, the challenge here is that are you a man after Gods heart. You need to be a man after God heart, winning Gods heart has to do with obeying his will. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more_ . John 8:11(KJV) In the days of Jesus Christ, as his ministries grow wider the more, the religious leaders sought for someone to use for their own means in order to trap Jesus. *They found this married woman who was caught in the very act of sexual immortality with someone other than her own husband* . The man she was caught in the very act of violating the sanctity of her marriage contract by immoral behavior with another man. As the religious leaders brought her to Jesus, He practically manifested the loving grace of God towards her. *All of us, both small of old deserved the wrath and condemnation of God because of sin, the religious leaders had forgotten that if God was to mark sin who will be justified also they had forgotten that all our righteousness is as filthy rags before the lord* . They were men who uphold the laws and Law says that sin must receive just punishment. Mercy, therefore, sets aside law for the moment in order to manifest the grace of God. God here forgives, and this is not the fact that God ignores the sins the woman had committed. *Who is without sin among you, let him be the first to cast a stone,* he asked them and no one could stoned this woman (John 8:7-8), and they began to take their leave one by one, ordinarily in Jewish law, any one caught in the act of adultery is stoned to death. But Jesus disregarded every human law and manifested God's love towards this woman, not that he harbours sin. The fact remains that we who deserve his wrath are forgiven inspite of ourselves. Paul said, but God demonstrates his own love towards us, in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us ( Rom 5:8). The woman had sinned. Nevertheless, she received the forgiveness of a God who extends grace, while he said *''SIN NO MORE''.* The motivation of Christianity is practically based on grace. By grace are ye saved(Eph 2:8-10, 1Cor 15:10, 2Cor 4:15). God has extended great mercy towards us( Rom 3:24), it is only our natural response, therefore, to manifest mercy towards others. The behavior of our lives as Christian is motivated by the realization that we have been forgiven so much that we must not in any way condemn other rather to show love towards sinners. We must keep in mind that those who show no mercy towards sinners do not understand the nature of their wretchedness while in sin(Matt 18:21-35, James 2:13). Beloved, will you at this point respond to the saving grace of God which God bestowed upon his only begotten son of the father who is full of grace and truth. Jesus Christ is ready to forgive you and to accept you into the beloved, all you need do is to acknowledge your sinful life in humility and confess them. I pray as you deeply response to this call, the saving grace of God will locate you in Jesus name. One of the dimensions of our confession of faith in Christ Jesus is the fact that we were raised along with Christ Jesus in his resurrection. *Paul was speaking of obeying the gospel in the preceding verse of the scripture of being saved from old sins,* of becoming a part of Christ, being made alive with Christ. In that light, this clause is a plain reference to Christian baptism, the same being the means by which God makes the penitent believer to be in Christ. How astounding are the comments which would make raised up with Christ in this place to mean. *The resurrection of believers at the last day, will be a spiritual transformation, believers are viewed in this dimension as already seated there,* that is, seated in heaven with Christ, in spirit already, and ere long our bodies too will be raised. *Believers are buried with him through baptism into death that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life* (Rom 6:4). Having been buried with him in baptism:, wherein ye were also raised with him, through faith in the working of God who raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; You, I say, did he make alive together with him. (Col. 2:12-13). The full meaning of this verse is that Christians, believers, saints who have been baptized into Christ, therein being made alive together with Christ and being raised up with him, therefore, are partakers of the full rights and privileges of the heavenly kingdom. *Beloved, this is who you are, you are not just an ordinary being, you are a special being, raised in together in the resurrection of Christ Jesus* . *LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:161|Thursday|June 10th| 21 ************************************** *FULLNESS OF LIFE IN CHRIST* _For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power_ : Colossians 2:9-10(KJV) The fullness of the Godhead gives its complete expression of the divine nature in Christ. Since Jesus is the exact image of God and His fullness dwells in Him (Col 1:15), this should trump everything. Many things try to dethrone Jesus, one of the most subtle ways is through ideas, traditions and philosophies that are seemingly harmless. However we must evaluate in light of what is revealed about God through Christ. Paul faced this issue regularly and this was his remedy in (2Cor. 10:5). Secondly, *we also have been brought into the fullness in Christ.* The scripture speaking and said And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit and reach full spiritual stature] (Colossians 1:10Amp) This is an amazing statement; it almost seems impossible. We are made full in Christ; filled with Him living in us and we will continue to experience this saturation. Paul said this was one of the glorious mystery revealed which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Col. 1:27) If we have been given completeness and fullness in Christ then philosophies and traditions that are counter to this should have no power to deceive. Lastly, Christ is the head over every power and authority ( Matt 28:18-20); why not let the source of life dictate worldviews. Jesus said, If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free (John 8:31 -32).To be free you have to know and remain in the truth. This comes through the transformation of renewing your mind to God's word and knowing His will concerning you. Paul gives the key to figuring this out in (Rom 12:1-2). Beloved, *we need to be thankful to God that we know this amazing truth; I have been given fullness in Christ.* I pray that these issues penetrate your thoughts so you think deeply about them. I hope it helps to both priorities what you face today as well as encourages you to continue in Christ, built on His foundation and strengthened in faith (Col 2:6-7). *LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:149|Monday|May 31st| 21 ************************************** *THE NATURE OF GODS KINGDOM* For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Rom. 14:17 KJV The kingdom of God is spiritual, a natural man cannot understand nor enter or know what its entails. Until you are genuinely saved, you cannot understand the mysteries of the kingdom of God. What is the nature of the Kingdom of God, What does the scriptures reveal about the Kingdom of God. Are we to expect a physical Kingdom here on earth, Jesus Christ manifested Himself to bring this Kingdom into reality. The kingdom of God appears sixty nine time in the bible, That fact alone should give us a sense of the importance of the Kingdom of God. The phrase Kingdom of Heaven is found thirty-two (32) times in the bible,  Other phrases used by Jesus such as my kingdom are used five (5) times. The main message that Jesus and John the Baptist proclaimed was the arrival of the Kingdom of God (Matthew 3:2; 4:17). Now, how does the Jews of the first century received the message of the kingdom of God. The Jews of the first century, living under the heavy yoke of the Roman government, yearned for a conquering King that would throw off that yoke. But these first century Jews got the Kingdom of God all wrong as do many Christians today. Their misunderstanding of the nature of the Kingdom of God caused them to reject Jesus Christ as their Messiah. In their minds and opinions, they thought that the city of Jerusalem and it's magnificent Temple was their future. They assumed that this earthly Kingdom was theirs alone and that it would last forever. What the Jews failed to realize is that God would never again live in a Temple on this earth.  God would never again live in a Temple made with human hands. The Kingdom of God that Jesus promised was not a physical kingdom that could be destroyed or lost.  It is a Kingdom that would never decay. The scripture speaking in Acts 7: 48, Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet. Acts 7:48. Is there any mystery to the nature of the Kingdom of God, Not according to Scripture. Jesus revealed the nature as well as the timing of the Kingdom of God clearly and plainly. Those that opposed Jesus as well as many of His followers were looking for a physical Kingdom led by an earthly King. To illustrate this, we turn to the story of Nicodemus (John 3:1-9). Nicodemus was a Pharisee, a ruler of the Jews who sought out Jesus under cover of night. Jesus immediately spoke of the Kingdom of God. There is an exchange between Jesus Christ and Nicodemus. What's interesting in this exchange is that the scriptures do not even mention Nicodemus asking about the Kingdom of God yet Jesus Christ immediately brings the subject up.  Jesus Christ is clearly stating that the Kingdom of God is a spiritual Kingdom. It is not a physical Kingdom. Of course, this is not what the Jews of the first century expected.  In fact, it was just the opposite of what they expected. Most of them missed the meaning of their Old Testament prophets. And in rejecting the message of the Kingdom of God they also rejected and lost that kingdom.(Matt. 21: 42-43). What then is the nature of the kingdom of God. God was and is looking for a different kind of people. The people that God seeks for are not those looking for an earthly, physical temple.  God seeks believers who want to be part of an eternal Kingdom that is beyond this world. (John 4:23-24, 2Cor 4:18 Mark 19:23-24). Many Christians believe that the reality of the Kingdom of God is some future, far away event.  Scripture reveals the timing of the Kingdom.  The kingdom is come unto you, the kingdom is at hand. shall not taste of death till they have seen the kingdom come with power, and the kingdom is come nigh unto you. All this give us a sense of the timing and arrival of the Kingdom of God.

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:145|Thursday|May 27th| 21 ********************************* *CONTENDING FOR THE FAITH* Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Jude 1:3(KJV)  We have different confession of faith today, several confession of faith were not actually upon the death and resurrection of Jesus so it doesn't worth contending for. Contending for the faith simply means to fight for the faith we believed, to contend for the faith we professed, if you actually know the dimensions of faith you have received, then it worth contending for. Believers have been called to contend for what they professed. This the way Jude begins and ends his letter. But in the middle his concern is different. It is not to help believers feel content, but to help them feel vigilant. Having shown them the electing love of God and the unsurpassed power of God (vs 2–5) to keep them safe. Jude now shows them the danger that surrounds them. And he tells them to fight for the faith. In other words, the assured victory of the believing church does not mean that we don't have to fight to win. Just because the brilliant Commander in Chief promises( Jesus Christ) victory on the beaches doesn't mean the troops can throw their weapons overboard. The promise of victory assumes valor in battle. When God promises that his church will be kept from defeat, his purpose is not that we lay down our sword and go to lunch or sleep, but that we pick up the sword of the Spirit and look confidently to God for the strength to fight and win. Wherever the promised security of God is used to justify going. The main point of this little book written by Jude is the contending for the faith, that is, fighting for the faith, and that is what I want to make the main point of my devotion. An adage says What is not worth dieing for is not believing. It is what you believed that you share, it is the duty of every genuine believer to contend for the faith once for all delivered to the saints. There are things to be noted in the verse above. 1. There is a faith once for all delivered to the saints. 2 .This faith is worth contending for. 3.This faith is repeatedly threatened from within the church. 4. Every genuine believer should contend for the faith. As believers, the kind of faith we professed should propelled us to contend for it. Our confession of faith in Christ Jesus should not be hidden, less we miss the purpose of our confession. The apostle also fight and defended their own faith confession in Christ before the elders in Jerusalem. You are a believer, but no one knows you are born again, is a signs that you are yet to be identify with Christ. Shalom!!! We have been promised eternal life and we must do everything to ensure we gain eternity, this is the reason why we must keep fighting, until we receive the crown. The world fight does not a physical fight, it connote, a spiritual fight, Battle in the realms of the spirits. Those who will get to heaven must fight their way toward it. There must be a conflict with corruption and temptations, and the opposition of the powers of darkness. It is a good fight, it is a good cause, and it will have a good results. It is the fight of faith; we do not war after the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal (2Cor. 10:3; 2 Cor. 10:4). He exhorts him to lay hold on eternal life and the following parameters 1. Eternal life is the crown proposed to us, for our encouragement to war, and to fight the good fight of faith, the good warfare.  2. This we must lay hold on, as those that are afraid of coming short of it and losing it. Lay hold, and take heed of losing your hold. Hold fast that which thou hast, that no man take thy crown (Revelation 3:11).  3. We are called to the fight, and to lay hold on eternal life. 4. The profession Timothy and all faithful ministers make before many witnesses is a good profession; for they profess and engage to fight the good fight of faith, and to lay hold on eternal life; their calling and their own profession oblige them to this. Apostle paul suggests to Timothy, that he had other business to do than to mind the things of this world. His life was a state of warfare as he was a soldier, and was not to entangle himself with the things of this life. He had many enemies to engage with, including Satan, and his principalities and powers; sin, and the lusts of the flesh; the world, and the men of it, and a great fight of afflictions to endure with them; as also false teachers, with, whom particularly he was to fight the good fight of faith, that shows the truth of the Gospel, which they resisted, might continue with the saints. This fight is called the fight of faith, partly in opposition to the law, and in which the false teachers, in the apostle's time, were so much engaged, and against whom the apostles set themselves. And partly because the doctrine of faith, the faith of the Gospel, the faith once delivered to the saints, is what they earnestly contended, strove, and fought for; and because the grace of faith, as conversant with the Scriptures of truth, was the weapon they fought with. This may be called a good fight, because it is in a good cause, the cause of God and truth; and under a good Captain, Jesus Christ the Captain of our salvation; for which good weapons are provided, even the whole armor of God, and which are not carnal, but spiritual and mighty; to which may be added, that those who are engaged in this fight may be sure of victory, and the crown of glory, life, and righteousness.( 2Cor 10:4-5, Eph. 6:12-15). As believers we are expected to be soldier at the war front because of the homogeneous terrain we found yourself. If I may ask, what kind of fight are you fighting? The fight of faith or the fight of flesh. Shalom!!! SHALL WE PRAY: Father in the name of Jesus Christ, help me to always fight the good fight of faith, advancing the cause of the kingdom. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure_ . Phil. 2:12-13(KJV). Obedience to the will of God in response to God's grace is essential for the saving of our soul (1Cor 15:10, Gal 5:6, Heb. 5:8-9). Several people finds it difficult to possess the spirits of obedience because of lack of proper discipline. When you are discipline, you will obey every instruction. When you are discipline, every instruction given to you by God or man over you, you will want to obey them. It is not that one obeys in order to be saved. We obeyed because we are saved by Gods grace through the obedience of the gospel. The disciples at Philippian began their obedience to the will of the Lord when Paul was in their presence. They were obedience to the gospel in order to be saved by the blood of Jesus(Roman 6:3-6). However, after their initial obedience to the gospel, they continued their obedience even when Paul was absent from them. They were obedience because of the grace of God that was preached by Paul. They responded to the grace of God by immersion into Christ for the remission of sins (Act 2:38, 22:16). In appreciation of their salvation by Grace of God, they continued to work. Their work for the lord does not depend on the presence of any evangelist. God works in us as we have responded to his work for us. He works for us through the Cross. Our sense of gratitude to the work of God in reference to our salvation therefore should move us into action Rom. 12:3, 1Cor 15:10, 2Cor. 12:6, 15:10). In this way God lives inside of us (Gal 2:20, 1Tim. 4:16). When we are motivated into action by the redemptive work of God, then we work according to his purpose ( 2Cor 3:5). And when we work according to his purpose, it is God who works in us. We don't work because in order to be saved, we work our salvation for we are saved. Will you also at this point respond to complete obedience to Christ and his salvation. Shalom!!! SHALL WE PRAY Father in the name of Jesus, grant me complete obedience to the gospel of Christ. This is the reason why our pursuit in life is quite different. But there is one pursuit which must become every ones pursuit also, and that is To gain Christ for the purpose of eternity. Paul was a Christ sent apostle with strong religious background in Judaism, he still had much room for both growth in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, as well as spiritual growth within his heart. There will be a time when we all come to the greater knowledge of Jesus Christ in the heavenly realm, and while we are in this world. Meanwhile our knowledge and relationship with Jesus will always be limited. Our understanding of Jesus Christ will excel only when we have been taken from the confines of this world into the next to be in the presence of Jesus. The motivation for pressing on lies in one's realization that he does not yet fully know what he desires to know of Christ. When you realizes that great spiritual growth will occur in the presence of Jesus, then he thirst to be with Jesus. As believers there must an hunger for more of God. Galatians 2:2 Revelation is light In accessing destiny. In life we need revelation, revelation is what birth light, and lights birth destiny. When you access into Gods word by revelational insight , you gain divine light because Gods word is birth divine inspiration. Show me a man who is running with a vision and I will show you a man who has contacted revelation. Revelation is a powerful tool for moving in the dimensions of Gods word. Any time a man lacks revelation, lights becomes difficult to access. And I went up by revelation, Paul did not go to the Jerusalem Council because of pressure from the apostles in Jerusalem. He went there because God told him to go. Paul did not go to Jerusalem because the leaders had called him on the carpet. The church at Antioch had sent his delegation there. Antioch was the third-largest city in the Roman Empire and 500 kilometers from Jerusalem. Going up even though Jerusalem was south, the New Testament refers to it as up to Jerusalem by revelation does not contradict the Antioch church sending his delegation to Jerusalem, for both can be true. The word communicated means to set forth, to lay before. Paul laid his case of the gospel of grace before the leaders in Jerusalem(Galatians 2:9). But privately to those who were of reputation, Paul took the precaution to deal with the issue privately because he did not want to surprise those in leadership in Jerusalem, such as Peter, James, and John, by dealing with the issue in public first if he came in like a bolt from the blue then his mission to the Jerusalem Council would have been in vain. Paul used discernment in the way he handled the doctrinal crisis at the Jerusalem Council. He took the precaution to present the facts to the apostles privately before the issue came to public debate. He did not want to offend the leaders there unnecessarily and stir up opposition against his position before he could objectively present it to the Council. The word “run” stresses strenuous running. Paul ran strenuously in his cause at the Jerusalem Council. He viewed his presentation as a footrace in a stadium. If the Judaizers won, he would have lost a lot of territory in advancing the gospel. Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it” (1 Corinthians 9:24). Discernment is very important in successfully advancing the gospel. By revelation has to do with receiving the leading of the Holy spirit. As Christians, we should use discernment in the way we fight for doctrinal positions. If it requires going through private meetings, then so be it. It is not wise to embarrass publicly those we attempt to persuade. A priority of Christian living is to keep our eye on what we want to accomplish. By using unwise approaches, we can undermine what we try to accomplish. holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain” (Philippians 2:16). Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 1John 5:4-5(KJV) Living a victorious life style demand the reinforcements of a faith life. There is a dimension of Faith we need to be operating upon in other to live a victorious life style, because faith is a spirit (2Cor 4:13). The spirit of faith need to be possessed in other to be victorious in life. There is a dimension of Faith we need to professes in christ, and also there is a dimension of faith (believe) for the impossibility to be come possible. We are in a world that wickedness is on the increase, but faith in Christ assures us that we can overcome them. The scripture speaking and said in 1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. Living a victorious life style in a wicked world demands faith to overcome the wiles of the devil. Since, we have obeyed the gospel and thus have been born of water and the spirit, we have the overcoming spirit(John 3:3-5, Rom 6:3-6). Our faith is our victory as we respond to the will of God (Joshua 2:14-26). A dead faith has no victory, those who have obeyed the gospel have overcome the mentality and behavior of this world(John 2:15, John 16:33). Romans 8:37 says Yet in all this things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. As active faith gave the Old Testament patriarchs victory, so it will give us victory over the world. In other words our faith is that which makes it possible for us to overcome the world. We are able to overcome temptation and false teachings of the world by putting our trust in God. When we truly believe that Jesus is the son of God, we are moved to actively put our trust in him. Our life, therefore is guided by the will of God, and thus we overcome the temptation and false teaching of this world by our obedient response to his will and word(John 16:33, 1 Cor. 15:57). The one who believes is the one living the lives style of the Kingdom. I pray you will live by faith to overcome every challenges facing your destiny in Jesus name. Shalom!!? Romans 12:2KJV) There is an image portray for us as believers. This image is the image of God. The scripture described Jesus Christ as the image of the invisible God in (Col. 2:14-15). Who is the invisible God? our God the creator of the heaven and earth is the invisible God. The scripture above tells us how passionate Paul was to the romans Christians, he beseech them, encouraged them to live in the consciousness of the fact that their body was fully atoned for and that they should presents their bodies as a living sacrifice. In today's world, we see how several people are forming and conforming to different ideology and images, several people even go to the extent of forming their own mindset and reasonings. We are encourage not conform to the system of this world but the system of Christ. What are you conforming to. The world has away of influence on people but as believers we are in the world, but not of the world, and at the same time not to conform to it, irrespective of the dictate of the system, we are not in any way permitted to conform to the world system. The only one the scripture showed us to conform our lives to is the image of Christ, there is a pattern and doctrine of Christ we need to imbibe, outside this all other pattern is unapproved. How do we conform to his image, we must be ready to summit to his leadership and allow his life to be rubbed on us. As we look daily to him every facet of life, Jesus become formed in you, until Christ be formed in you, you are yet to conform to his image. Salvation cannot be taken to be conforming to his image, salvation is just a medium to knowing him, after knowing him(Rom 10:9-10), what come next is to begin to learn of him (Matthew 11:29), how does he do things, If Jesus does not lie, as a little Christ, lies should be absent from my life completely. What is essence? We are in a wicked world and the whole world lieth in wickedness (1Jobn 5:19). I once read a book by a popular man of God, the book is titled Catch the anointing. I read that, several men of God that he came in contact with were doubting the call of God upon his life to the extent that he resolved to catch the anointing from God and other distance men, he further said the anointing is not what you learn but what you catch, just how Elisha catch it from Elijah. Beloved, you need to catch the anointing for maximum operation. The anointing is the empowering, empowerment of the Holy spirit for supernatural accomplishments. Being anointed is not for funfair, but for a purpose, the fulfilling your assignment. what distinguish us from other religion is the anointing for supernatural, the anointing of the Holy spirit is what distinguished Christianity from other religious gathering because God himself is involved. Burdens are lifted by the anointing (Isaiah 10:27), divine speed is guarantee when you are anointed(Psalm 45:6-7). *LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:122|Monday|May 3rd| 21 ************************************** *JESUS MAKES INTERCESSION* Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Romans 8:34(KJV) There are two main men in the divinity tray who until now intercedes for the saint. Jesus Christ, the second man in trinity and the Holy spirits the third man in trinity. Jesus is with the father most especially at the right Hand of the father making intercession for us while the Holy is with us, is within us and inside of us helping our weaknesses in the place of intercession. From the above scripture, Who shall bring any charges against God's elect or God's chosen ones? God is the one who justifies. By this Paul meant that once God has justified one of His chosen ones declared that person righteous because of his or her faith in Christ (Romans 3:23–26), no accusation about any sin could convince God to overrule His own verdict. If that is God's position, how could anyone condemn us? That's what Paul now asks. His answer can be read in one of two ways. Paul may be implying that nobody can condemn those of us who are in Christ, because Jesus is the one who died, Paul may mean that only Christ can condemn us, but instead He has already taken our condemnation on Himself.(Isaiah 53:3-5). The result is the same in either. The Scripture speaking in Romans 8:1 and said, There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. We are in Christ by faith, so closely associated with Him in God's eyes that His death has already paid the price of our sin. He was resurrected and now stands at the Father's right hand interceding for us. This is available to those who put their faith in Jesus, but only to those who do so (John 3:16–18). The picture he paints is of Jesus standing by to advocate against anyone who would accuse us to God for our sin. He might say, I died for that sin. The penalty is paid. Now that God has justified us in Christ, and because God is for us, no accusation or condemnation can stand against us in the throne room of God. No one shall be able to condemn you because of radiant glory of God shall be seen in you. Amen. Shalom!!! *SHALL WE PRAY* .... Romans_ 8:26(KJV). How does the spirits intercede for us as a believers is our next focus. Several time we want to intercedes but our flesh is not in alignment with the spirits of prayer. The verse begins by stating that the Spirit helpeth our infirmities. Then after describing our weakness in prayer, apostle Paul explained how the Spirit helps us in prayer. He maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Here we are told that we are not alone in our prayers. The Spirit is with us. He is within us. Not only do we have the second Person of the Trinity, Jesus Christ, at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25-26; 9:24), we also have the Third Person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, here with us making intercession for us. We have two intercessors, when we pray. One with the Father and One with us. What a glorious privilege we have as believer's. But how does the Spirit make intercession for us? The Bible says that, it is with groanings that cannot be uttered. These are unspoken groanings that cannot be uttered. I don't believe this verse means literal groans, but metaphorical groans as in verses 22 and 23 which refer to the groanings of creation and the redeemed. Also, in verse 27, specifically says that God knoweth the mind of the Spirit (the unarticulated), not the groans of the Spirit. Now, what does all this mean? I believe it means that while we pray audibly (often times ignorantly), the Spirit is making intercession for us inaudibly (without words). In other words, the Spirt translates for us by praying for us what we should be praying. *SHALL WE PRAY...* Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for your divine intercession over my life and destiny. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* : 1King 19-20 *MEDITATION* John 16:1-20 *SURE PROPHECY.* The blood of Jesus speak for you in Jesus name. *Gifted Hands!!!* ©Apostle Thomas & Testimony Adegbile. Romans 8:26(KJV) What is intercession of the spirits. The Intercession of  the Spirit is needed by every believers and it is the Christian belief that the Holy spirit helps and guides believers who search for God in their hearts. There have been different theological interpretations of the intercession of the Spirit. According to John Calvin, he taught that the spirits of intercession refers to the teaching ministry of the Spirit which instructs believers what to pray for and what to ask for in their prayers, Also Abraham Kuyper viewed the activity of the Spirit as separate and distinct from the efforts of the believers who pray. Why do we need the intercession of the Spirit? How does the Spirit intercede for us? What is the result of the Spirit's intercession for us? We need the Spirit's intercession because of our infirmities (v. 26a). This is a reference to our weakness in our mortal bodies that we experience even though our souls have been saved. There are many weaknesses in our natural bodies that burden us as we await our glorification. One of the most troubling weaknesses for the Christian, however, is our ineptness in prayer. This is the specific weakness that is in view in this morning's text. The problem with most believers is that we don't know how to pray this way in our specific circumstances. What keeps coming is that should I pray for this sickness to be healed to show God's glory or pray for grace to endure this sickness in order to show God's glory? This is our primary weakness in prayer. We don't know God's will. This is why we need the intercessory work of the Holy Spirit. Engage the Holy spirit and he will teach you all things. *LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:112|Friday|April 23rd| 21 ************************************** *THE MYSTERY OF ETERNAL LIFE* And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1John 5:11-12(KJV) Eternal life refers to a continued life after death. Eternal Life is mostly regarded as a future experience, but the Gospel of John differs from others in its emphasis on the mystery of eternal life as a present possession. In the New Testament, the Greek word most often translated as *eternal* is ' *aionios* It means unending, but also focuses on the quality of that which is age long or eternal. Combined with the Greek zoe for "life," which indicates not only biological existence but a fullness or genuineness of life, eternal life includes both the ideas of quality and quantity of life. Eternal life is not simply life that never ends, but a fullness of life that is unending. In fact, in many ways, eternal life really has nothing to do with time as it can be experienced apart from time as well as within time. From the scriptural understanding everyone will exist eternally, it is the quality of that existence that separates us. For those who accept the gift of salvation, through the Lord Jesus Christ.(Rom 6:23), that quality life will be with God amazing. It will be true life. For those who reject God's way, which stay in rebellion to Him, that eternity is described as death. Jesus is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25), and that life is eternal and perpetual. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him (John 3:36). It occurs now, today. Eternal life does not start when we die, but as soon as we put our faith in Christ. Though it does include our future in heaven, eternal life does not refer exclusively to it; eternal life is something believers in Jesus currently possess ( John 5:24 , John 6:47). In Scripture, eternal life is strongly connected with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we experience and receive eternal life (John 17:3 ;John 14:6, 9;  Luke 10:22).  Therefore, to have this eternal life with God, you must know Jesus. To know Jesus, you need to confess your sin (your disinterest, rebellion, or disagreement with and of God), then accept God's arrangement for your salvation). For the Scripture says, Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame. There is no distinction between Jew and Greek, For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved(Rom 10:11-13). Jesus came to this earth to live a sinless life, die in our place, and then rise from the dead in power over death. When we believe this, we are saved (Acts 16:31; Rom 10:9–10). Belief in Jesus is not just an intellectual knowledge, but a more personal, faiths based reliance. The Bible says some people will say they know of Jesus, but He will say He doesn't know them (Matt 7:23). Salvation is all about receiving forgiveness of sins and eternal life, is not about intellectual assent, but about relationship with God. God bless you dearly *SHALL WE PRAY* .... Isaiah 55:10-11(KJV). The integrity of the word of God cannot be questioned or disdained. Every word that comes from God's mouth has power and authority. The word that I speak to you, they are life and they are spirits (John 6:63). There is power in the spoken Word of God, and this power produces unspeakable signs and wonders. The entire universe was formed by the spoken Word of God (2Peter 3:5, Gen. 1:1-5). The word is Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ is the word(John1:1). When we make a declaration or a confession, it is an expression of our faith. The Lord, through the prophet Isaiah, uses the example of rain. He said in the same way that it falls from the sky and waters the ground, so that seeds yield fruit for the one who sowed them and bread to the eater, so is the Word that comes from the mouth of God. It will not return to Him empty, but will accomplish everything He wants it to and will achieve the purpose for which He sent it. The Word of God is a messenger that cannot return until it has fulfilled His mission. When you make a confession, it becomes a decree. As you confess it, you are activating it in the spiritual realm. In the same way, if someone speaks a negative word, that word is activated in the demonic spiritual realm. This allows the demonic powers to follow you, so that everything you are said comes to pass. On the other hand, if you declare the promises of God, you are activating the angelic realm that will come to your aide so that you can reach everything you desire in your heart. Solomon said, you have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth (Proverbs 6:2,). The sort of declarations you make will be reflected in your life, whether it is a positive word or a negative word. Decide to speak words that will build you up and strengthen your faith in God. Until you believe in the word, there would be results. Therefore, we must give more earnest heed to the spoken Word of God emanating from genuine men of God. Many people have missed their miracles because they mistook the Word of God for the words of a pastor. They fail to realise that God will not come down to speak His word, but He speaks through His genuine servant. Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper(2Chr 20:20, Hosea 12:13) How then can one identify a word as being genuinely spoken by God through His servants? The written word, which is the Bible, authenticates it and must be aligned with the spoken word (John 16:13, Galatians 1:8). After you have ascertained that the source of a spoken word is clean, and that the word is directly from God, it is your responsibility to believe it. Only then you will receive the miracle you so much desire from God, The scripture speaking and said, He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. The centurion knows the power in the word) Matthew 8:8).Elijah, spoke concerning the shameful death of the wicked, kkng Ahab in 1kkng 21:19, the wonder working power of the spoken word produced the negative effect of Ahab's death in (1Kings 22:38). The spoken word of God which came to the widow of Zarephath through Elijah in (1 Kings 17:14) was fulfilled. We see the power in this spoken word, working positively in (1King 17:16). I pray the word of God will work mightily in your situation in Jesus name. Shalom!!! *SHALL WE PRAY* Father in the name of Jesus, grant me grace to live my life in you mighty word.

There are three kinds words that must come upon our lives and if ever we want to break forth in life and destiny, this words must be encountered. The sent words, the words in seasons, and the Right word. The word of God, spoken in faith in the Name of Jesus, has awesome power to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. The scripture speaking and said So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11). There is an irresistible supernatural power in God's right word; it will not return to Him empty. God's Word will accomplish His desires and purposes. The King James Version descriptively says that the word of God will not return void to Him (Isaiah 55:11). The Word of God is powerful, because it is guaranteed by God to be effective. When you speak the Word of God, you are tapping into the limitless power. The word I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63). Speak His words, speak the Scriptures, because the word of God is life. The word of God is living and active. (Hebrews 4:12). God's words have life, they bring life, as did Jesus' spoken words to dead Lazarus. The life of Abraham in Genesis 15:1-10, was a challenging one, he was childless at a old age and this has caused him some levels of feeling if God actually hears Prayers. Then God spoke to him in vs 4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. Isaiah 50:4(KJV) To every season in the lives and destiny of a man, there is always a word in season sent for it. There is no how difficult and scary a season may be or appears in our lives, once it encounter the right word in season, everything becomes normal. Successful life style is not measured by the quantity of accumulated possession, neither is it measured by popularity. Rather, it consists in the attainment of God's goals and purposes for one's life. Everyone who is born of God has a divine plan for his life, so says the Lord in Jeremiah (29:11), For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God has plans for you, this plans are embedded in his word. They have been there before you were born again, waiting for you to step into the kingdom and step into them. It is your duty to discover these plans and step into your divine assignment. Every men who walks in divine destiny discovered their God given assignment through the word in season, they pursued it and they have a ministry. Ministry is neither a dream nor a trance. It is not a church title or leadership position held in a local church. It is not an organization or an association. It is a divine assignment handed down to a person by God. There is a word in season that set one free from bondages and difficulties. Genesis 26:1-12, The life of Isaac in the land of Gera was an example of how God sent a word to his own season. He was contemplating of exiting the land of Gera for there was famine and the second famine so to say, Genesis 26:2 And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of. This man, despite the famine, he received the word in season from the Lord which he obeyed and key into it. The lord told him again Genesis 26:3, *Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father* ; This is the word in season which God sent to him and in verse in 6, *And Isaac dwelt in Gerar* : He obeyed the word in season which he received by Staying back in the same land where there was famine, difficulties and life threatening situation. God blessed him as he has promised in verse 12, *Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him* . The word in season came to his life at a point of loosing hope and was ready to take desperate decision. God showed up by sending his word to him. Joseph was also in a difficult situation of his life, but he patiently sought God and God showed up in Psalms 105:19-21 Until the time that his word came the word of the LORD tried him. The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance. You don't every word. What your life need is the right word in season. There is a word for every season and that is the word you need, not every one word is anointed, but the word in season, not every carries a seal, but the words of the Lord possess the seal for liberation. Isaiah_ 9:8(KJV). In life one need the sent word to be liberated for supernatural breakthroughs. Several people struggle today because they lack the sent word from the lord to operate in every sphere of life. Whatever spheres of life you are operating in, the sent word from the Lord is what gives you breakthroughs in life. In Genesis 32:22-32, Jacob had many struggled in his life time, at a point he was struggling to become the first born by taking his brother birthright, deceived his own father isaac and later fled away unto Laban's house, where he was deceived by serving for two wives for 14years, and at last he became married to four wives. On his way coming, the lord of host encountered him at a certain night and he fought with the angel, he came to certain point he realise that his struggles must come to end, he told the angel, until you bless me I will never let you go. And the angel of the Lord said unto him what is thy name? And he said Jacob. And he said, thy name shall no more be called Jacob, but Israel, for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men and has prevailed. This is the word that was sent unto Jacob that finishes his struggles, the same word was what lighting his destiny to be changed from being a Jacob the traitor to Israel the chosen one of God. Jacob and Israel means the same thing; but the diversity of expression is elegant, and is intended to show that the wicked gain nothing. Abraham received the sent word from the lord, and received his own promised child and also he became a full time and successful Farmer. (Genesis 15:1-6). Isaac his own son also received the sent word from the Lord in the land of Gera, when there was famine in the land, I perceived he was planing to exit the city of Gera when the lord appeared to him and told him not to live that city, by obedience, he sown in the same land and reap in 100% and he became a successful farm irrigator (Genesis 26:1-12) In psalm 107:20 the lord sent his word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction. What you need is not every word, but just the sent word, just a word that can end every struggle. I decree your life struggles ends today in the name of Jesus Christ. *SHALL WE PRAY* Father in the name of Jesus, I received the sent word to be liberated. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* 2Samuel 21,22 *MEDITATION* Ps 105:11-20 SURE PROPHECY. Rom 8:11 (KJV). The Spirit is life because of righteousness. God promises resurrection of the body for believers. The Spirit's life leads to resurrection. Eternal life in time leads to the eternal existence of the resurrected life. Paul established the reality that the Spirit who raised Jesus out of the dead dwells in believers. There was no doubt on Paul's part here. The Holy Spirit continually indwells in each believer. The use of the name Jesus emphasizes the fact that the human being of Jesus rose from the dead. He [the Spirit] who raised Christ from the dead. The Father raised Christ from the dead; He did the doing. Since the Father did that, He will raise the believer from the dead as well. God gathers our resurrection from the resurrection of Christ. The repetition of the word resurrection of Christ in this verse emphasizes the surety of it. Our identity in Christ puts prominence on the fact that what was true of Him is true of us. Since it is a certainty that Jesus was raised from the dead, it is certain that believers will be raised also. This accounts for the change from Jesus in the previous phrase to Christ in this phrase. The former emphasized the humanity of Christ, while Christ represents both Jesus the person and those who are raised with Him. Jesus was never called Christ until after the resurrection. This Person will give life to our mortal bodies. The power of the resurrection conquers the power of sin in our lives; resurrection power is no mere idle power. The veracity of the Father who raised Jesus from the dead will send the Spirit of God to raise us from the dead. Christ is the prototype of the believer's resurrection. The way the Father raised Jesus from the dead is the way He will raise us from the dead. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is the down payment for our resurrection. One day we will be finished with the sin capacity. *SHALL WE PRAY* Father in the name of Jesus, Continue to pour your outpouring spirits upon my life. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* 2Samuel 3,4,5 *MEDITATION* John 16 *SURE PROPHECY* . *LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:99 |Friday April 9th|2021 ************************************** *LED BY THE SPIRIT* _For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Romans 8:14 (KJV). Different people are led today by different means, and this is the reason why many are led astray. Some have gone into making wrong decisions, because the Holy spirits has not totally taken his place. Until the Holy spirit takes his place, we would not attain the standard of God in accessing divine Gods leading. The first thing that strikes me is that the leading of the Spirit of God of which it speaks is not something peculiar to eminent saints, but something common to all God's children, the universal possession of the people of God. As many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. We have here, in effect, a definition of the sons of God. The primary purpose of the sentence is not, indeed, to give this definition. But the statement is so framed as to equate its two members, and even to throw a stress upon the co-extensiveness of the two designations. As many as are led by the Spirit of God, these and these only are sons of God. Therefore, the leading of the Spirit is presented as the very characteristic of the children of God. This is what differentiates them from all others. All who are led by the Spirit of God are thereby constituted the sons of God, and none can claim the high title of sons of God who are not led by the Spirit of God. The leading of the Spirit thus appears as the constitutive fact of sonship. And we dare not deny that we are led by God's Spirit, lest we therewith repudiate our part in the hopes of a Christian life. In this aspect of it, our text is the exact parallel of the immediately preceding declaration, which it therefore takes up and repeats But if any one hath not the Spirit of Christ, that one is not His(Rom. 8:9). It is obviously a mistake, therefore, to look upon the claim to be led by God's Spirit as an evidence of spiritual pride. It is rather a mark of spiritual humility. This leading of the Spirit is not some peculiar gift reserved for special sanctity and granted as the reward of high merit alone. It is the common gift poured out on all God's children to meet their common need, and is the evidence, therefore, of their common weakness and their common unworthiness. The dimensions of being led by the spirits is an aftermath of the results of the conquered over the dictate of the old man. Any one who walks after the spirit will be directed by the spirits. It is what you allow into your life that dictate to you, if you walk according to the leading of the flesh, the flesh dictate for you, but if you walk by the spirits, the spirits directs you(Gal 5:16, Rom 8:1). No reasonable person will like to make free moral choice to live according to the deeds of the flesh( Eph 4:22, col 3:5). Those who have submitted to the will of God are identified as the sons of God ( Gal 5:18). One must keep this in mind that this is not a subjective urge supposedly given by the spirits, else we return to what Paul was refuting in this context. Those who are led by the flesh are following the inventions of human emotional and traditional religion that lead men away from dependence on God for direction. Those who are led by the spirits of God seek the will of God in order to determine their lives(Rom 3:31). Those who behave according to the spirits-inspired direction of God are not living according to their desires to live after their own wills. Walking in the spirits is the same as walking in the light. By walking in the light, the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. The person who live after the spirit has crucified the old man of sin(Rom 6:6; Gal 2:20). He has put to death the desire to flesh to direct the affairs of his or her lives( Eph. 2:1-3). The person who lives according to desires to live after the flesh in order to follow his own will is headed.

By default we lost the divine nature, our dominion and freedom. We became completely alienated from our marker and we are subjected to oppression by the devil, sickness, diseases and death and eternity in hell. This was going to be our pitiable state, the destiny of all sinner's, until God in his infinity mercy manifested his love towards us and gave us his only begotten son(John 3:16). Jesus destroyed all the works of the devil (1John 3:8). Opened our prison doors, healed our sicknesses and diseases, pour a new song in our mouth. What could be greater than this? This is the greatest love that has been demonstrated in the history of mankind and the highest sacrifice ever made since the world began. Our redemption from slavery market of sin was purchased by a price far too much for any mortal to pay. Although it cost us nothing, it was enormous price for God. It cost him his only begotten son and Jesus life. The blood of Jesus is the only currency that could buy us from slavery market of sin and set us free from his damming consequences. Jesus was willing and humbly chose become the propitiation for our sins. The price paid by our saviour is what gave us access to the father, he left his glory zone, glory circle for this dark world, He gave up his immortal body and took a mortal body that is susceptible to pains and corruption, He was destitute and suffer hunger, He was tempted, falsely accused, tried, sentenced to die in the most gruesome way, He was mocked, reviled and rejected, he was scourged, tormented and crowned with many Thorny crowns. As a beloved son of the father who has always enjoyed of being with the father, Jesus suffered the agony of beings momentarily forsaken by his father, the moment he carried on himself the iniquity of the whole world on the cross. He bore all the punishment of our sins in his flesh(Isaiah 53:3-5). When he was arrested, tortured and cruelly crucified on the Cross by those he came to save from hell fire. Jesus became our atonement for our sins (Matthew 27:1-66). Beloved, this is a great sacrifice in the history of mankind and every one of us needs to acknowledge this and then retrace our lives and see the finished works of the cross which Christ achieved for us. Shalom!!! SHALL WE PRAY Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for the finished work of redemption. Let the sacrifice of your blood not go in vain over my lives. Through faith in Christ we have received an *inheritance* , the hearth filling joy of beholding God's glory in Christ forever. (Eph 1:11; Col 1:12; 1Peter 1:3-4). This inheritance is most naturally understood as the heart filling joy of beholding God's glory, because Paul says the inheritance is in light (Col 1:12) and light often describes God's glory in Christ(2 Corin 4:3,6; Rev. 21:23); and because Peter also says this inheritance will be revealed to us, and later says that what will be revealed to us is God's glory (1 Peter 5:1). So, because you are trusting Christ, you have an inheritance, the all-satisfying joy of beholding God's glory in Christ forever and ever and ever. Not only does God give us this inheritance, he gives us the Holy Spirit as the guarantee of this inheritance (Eph 1:13-14; 2Corin. 1:22; 2 Corin 5:5). But how is the Holy Spirit the guarantee? This is because we trust Christ we have the Spirit, and since the Spirit will keep us in the faith, we can be assured that we will receive the inheritance. The Greek word translated guarantee has to do with money.  If someone wants buys a property, he would give the seller a guarantee, which mean he would give some money as first installment or a deposits with a guarantee that the rest would be paid. This deposit was an actual first installment of the total money to be paid. Earnest or guarantee money was given with the promise that the full payment was to come later. The holy spirit was given as a guarantee, or assurance that there was the possession yet to come of all that God promised. That is exactly what God does for us through the Holy Spirit. When God gives us the Holy Spirit as a guarantee, he takes a portion of what we will experience in heaven, and gives it to us now as a first installment, so we can know for sure heaven is real, and that it is all satisfying(Rom 5:5). The Holy Spirit enables us to behold the glory of the Lord.   Heaven is where we will receive the full revelation of God's glory in Christ (1Peter 4:12-13; Rev 21:23). *How Can one experience this* ? God is sovereign. He pours out this gracious work of the Spirit where and when he chooses. And he promises that as we fight to hear his word with faith, he will provide us with this work of the Spirit(Gal 3:5; Ephesians 6:17; John 6:35; John 7:37-38). God promised, that as we seek him with fervent prayer and meditation on God's Word, he will give us times when we so feel his love, so behold his glory, that we will experientially know heaven is real and its worth it all. That's how the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our inheritance. *_Shalom_* !!! *SHALL WE PRAY* Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for granting me your inheritance through the Holy spirits. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* Judges 20,21 *MEDITATION* Hebrew 1:1-5 *SURE PROPHECY* . And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept Matth. 28:11-13(KJV). There are alot of conspiracy about the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As the first day of the week began to down, it was after the Sabbath was over that the women proceeds to the tomb. It was early Sunday morning, they had prepared spices to be taken to be tomb, *it was early on Sunday morning that Jesus rose from the dead* (Mark 16:9). An earthquake took place while the women were on their way to the tomb. The earthquake happened when the angel of the lord rolled away the stone from the entrance of the tomb, the significance of this, is to allow witness to enter and see that Our lord Jesus had risen from the dead and also this is to be announced to the entire world. Two angels were present at this events(Mark 16:5; Luke 24;4). This is the mystery some of the Chief priest couldn't understand. The resurrection of Jesus became a mystery in that The Soldiers couldn't explain what and how it took place. The attempt to cover up the event that took place at the tomb is the real evidence that something actually happened that the chief priests didn't want the soldiers to be away. The event at the tomb has been traumatic and undeniable by the guards. They offered them a large sum of money just to keep them quiet. Off course, they knew that earthquake took place. According to the roman, those soldiers should have been executed for letting a seal and guarded tomb be entered. The very fact that this explanation was dreamed up by the chief priests and elders is the evidence that affirms it, that the body was stolen never happened. The disciples didn't stole the body of Jesus Christ and claimed that he was resurrected. They conspired together by offering the soldiers large sum of money to lied that the body was stolen. This is the conspiracy about his death and resurrection. The side of this story, which we are mostly concern about is the fact that the Father sent angels to rolled away the stone and our Lord is alive. Death and grave couldn't stopped him, not even soldiers could stopped him. Finally the was resurrected, Atlas my lord liveth. Hallelujah!!! *LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:85 Friday March 26th 2021 ************************************** *OBJECT OF FAITH* *For ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus* . Gal 3:26(KJV). The word of God told us to believe solemnly in the Christ and his finished works. What is the object of hope, belief and confidence? The object of faith for a sinner is Christ Jesus. Several people make this mistake of believing on God the father. Though belief on God is an after result of faith in Jesus Christ. We became believer in the eternal love of God the father as the result of trusting the precious blood of the son of God. We are sons through faith not through law keeping. The faith we have in Christ has produced grace for us. The believers living under grace has three benefits. Paul, includes both the Jewish and Gentile Christians in his statements that they are all sons of God. No more segregation that I am a Jew or gentiles because they have been engrafted into the common wealth of Israel. The first benefit of living under grace is believers become *sons of God* . The word sons here means fully *grown sons* . This is a much stronger term than children of God. When a child reached the age of adulthood, his father would give him a coat of manhood. Now his son could operate with all the privileges of adulthood. The son was no longer bound by the slave teacher [the law]. The word, all means every person who becomes a child of God becomes a full-grown son (Gal.4: 6). Every believers hold special privileges before God through faith. We receive the privilege of adult status with God by faith, not by works ( Eph 2:5,8). The scripture does not say everyone in the world is a son of God. Although, we are all creatures of God, that does not mean we are God's children. No one is a child of God without placing an exclusive faith in Christ Jesus. Those who do not exercise faith in Christ are mere creatures of God, just like a bird or donkey. They do not have a personal relationship with God. The New Testament believers has adult privileges with God. In the New Testament salvation, Christians hold adult privileges. Our status with God rests on faith in Christ, not on our works. We do not gain God's approbation by what we do. We have it by what Christ did. We have it by faith. SHALL WE PRAY Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for the finished works on the cross and for adopting me as your son with all privileges. One of the weapons of battle against the roaring of the devil is to possess faith, not just any kind of faith, but a strong faith. There is no power Satan may have that can breakthrough the armour of God that the Christian exercises in life( Rom 8:37-39). And this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith(1 John 5:17). As the shield protect the soldier body against any attacks of the enemy, so the faith of the Christians functions as a shield to ward off attacks of doubt, discouragement and despair. Above everything else a believer is to wield the shield of faith. From the scripture above, Faith is of the greatest importance in the Christian life. It is the shield that protects the Christian in a fundamental way. The Roman soldier's shield was made of wood and was 2 ½ feet wide by 4 feet long. They overlaid this oval like shield with leather. It was a shield of protection especially from fiery arrows, spears, and swords. Of faith conveys the idea that the shield consists of faith itself. The idea of faith here is not a body of doctrine but appropriation of truth to experience. The shield that the Christian soldier uses is faith as an ongoing exercise against the attacks of Satan. This is a present faith, a faith that claims the promises of God for both eternity and time. It is the faith of which Christ is the primary object. By increasing faith through the study of the word of God( Rom 10:17), the Christian is able to stand against every deception of Satan. Every arrows that Satan may throw against the Christian can be stopped by truth that is learned through the study of the word of God. Faith works out the implications of what we believe. We should not lose sight of the idea that we are to take hold of faith. Exercising faith is a major part of the Christian life. It is what we do to depend on God rather than ourselves. It is the method by which we can defend ourselves against Satan. We cannot fight the devil in our own strength. The shield of faith is not the shield of belief. Faith is more than belief. Faith acts on belief. Faith works out the implications of belief. Faith particularizes belief; it applies truth to experience. It is to take a biblical fact and experience it. I pray that your faith will stand the test of time, it will overcomes the antics of the devil in Jesus name. Shalom!!! March 24th 2021 ************************************** *FELLOWCITIZEN* **Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God* ; Ephesians 2:19* (KJV) The gentiles were strangers and Foreigners before been engrafted into the Commonwealth of Israel. Do you also want to be engrafted into this community of saint?. The last four verses of chapter two enumerate. The  prerogatives of being in Christ. Christians are no longer what they were but are something entirely new. The church is not patched onto the nation Israel; it is an entirely new entity. This verse, set forth Jesus as our chief Cornerstone. This cornerstone brings together all the elements of the building we call the church. Both Jew and Gentile can now become part of the same family. They are no long estranged from each other. The Greek indication of the word ''so then'' draws a conclusion  from previous the statements (vs. 14-18). This conclusion centers on the word '' *one* '' in the previous verses. The Jews and Gentiles were distinctly different, but now they are '' *one* '' in Christ. The word Strangers and foreigners were Jewish terms for Gentiles. Gentiles were foreigners living in their native lands. Strangers were Gentiles living in the land of Israel. The Gentiles were outside the blessings of the nation Israel, but now Gentile believers are no longer alien to God's economy. Christians belong to a new, eternal nation (Phil 3:20). The polar opposite of strangers and foreigners is fellow citizens. The new status in the church is a spiritual citizenship holding this standing with the saints. Who is a saint? A saint is someone who is set apart unto God. God separated saints from both Jews and Gentiles and formed a new entity, the church, the household of faith. Saint is a title of honor for one who belongs to the universal church. The old national theocracy of Israel no longer exists. The household here is not the same as what the Jews held in the nation of Israel. This is an entirely new family entity (v. 20), not a national entity. Christians are members of God's household. What a wonderful new identity that is achieved for all believers. The implications of this to us as believer's is that there are no second class citizens in the household of faith. Everyone of us is a first class citizen and we are equal before the master. There are no strangers, foreigners or outcasts in God's family, no second-class citizens. We have a citizenship located in heaven (Philp 3:20). God views us as members of His eternal family. Our eternal citizenship and family are the same thing. Every believer holds the same status before God. To treat a fellow member of the eternal citizenship or family with disregard is to trash what God values. Christians belong in a way that we never did before. We are not second-class citizens or aliens to God's community. No believer is homeless. We now have a homeland. We eagerly wait for the time when we will go home to be with our Lord. Meanwhile, we represent Him in time on earth as His personal representatives, ambassadors for Christ (2Ccor 5:20). *SHALL WE PRAY* Father in the name of Jesus, Thank for being a citizens of the Gods kingdom. I possess my total right as a citizens of Gods kingdom. *READ THE BIBLE* *THROUGH* Judges 6-8 *MEDITATION* Eph 2:1-15 *SURE PROPHECY.* You need divine Connection, I decree supernatural angels will connect you with your helpers In Jesus name. THE COMMONWEALTH OF ISRAEL

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day: 82 Tuesday March 23rd 2021 *********************************** *COMMONWEALTH OF ISRAEL.* *That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:* Ephesians 2:12(KJV) Five things are very common to the gentiles. 1. They were without Christ, 2. They were alien from the Commonwealth of Israel. 3. They were strangers from the covenant promises, 4 they have no hope, 5. They were without God. Who are the gentiles? The gentiles are the people who are without Christ. these people who have no knowledge of God, rather they formed their own God. Paul calls on the gentiles to remember where they were spiritually before they responded to the grace of God. The Jews referred to the gentiles as the uncircumcised. The designation was given to the gentiles by the Jews for the purpose of maintaining the Jews separation from the gentiles who were not in a national covenant relationship with God as were the Jews. However, this culture of been separate from the gentiles was dissolved in Christ. From the above scripture above, Paul explains the deplorable situations one is in, when he is outside the grace of God. He explains the situation of the gentiles who were outside the covenant relationship that God had established with Israel. When one is outside Christ, he is without hope. Being without Christ means that one is outside the mediatorial work of Jesus before God (Act 4:12). The gentiles as a whole had no citizenship with the people with whom God had established a covenant relationship with. They were therefore separated from Israel because they were not included in the covenant that God established with national Israel. They were separated from God because of sin( Isaiah 59:1-2). The gentiles had no part in the covenant of God that he established with the fathers of Israel and the Israelite nation itself (Rom. 9:4,8, Gen 12:1-3, 26:1, 28:13). Because the gentiles were without a covenant relationship with God, they had nothing upon which to base their hope. Therefore they had no hope for a deliverer that would deliver them from sin (1Thes. 4:13). The gentiles were in a world where they created gods after their own imagination. Such gods could never be substitute for the one true God. Therefore, if one could conceives of a god in his mind that is not according to God's definition of himself in his revealed word, then such a one is without God. He is without the true and the living God (Eph. 4:17-19; Rom 1:30, Gal 4:8). Before they were far away from God because of sin, the gentiles were spiritually separated from God and without hope in a world of sin ( John 10:15-16, Act 2:26). However, through grace of God that was manifested by the sacrificial blood of Jesus on the cross they have opportunity to come near through obedience of the gospel. They were engrafted into the Commonwealth of Israel through obedience to the gospel. Will you also access the grace of God and accept the finished works of Christ on the cross so that you can be accepted among his brethren. Jesus says come. Shalom!!! *SHALL WE PRAY* Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for the finished works of the cross and thanks for engrafting me into the Commonwealth of Israel. *READ THE BIBLE THROUGH* Judges 3-5 *MEDITATION* John 4:24-25. *SURE PROPHECY* : I prophecy into your life and destiny, the hand of the lord will manifest greatly in your life today in Jesus name *Gifted hands!!!* © Apostle Thomas & Testimony Adegbile.
