We look at the DOSS SoundBox Pro+, first launched in 2018. Yes, we were wondering why they wanted us to review a product that is 6 years old too. You can see more about it on their website here. DOSS SoundBox Pro+, reviewed Sound on the go, for summer is always appealing. The price is reasonable too. There is some weight to it, that eternal trade off between it being light to transport, but heavy enough to give some volume to your tunes. It does seem to manage that balance well, and with good tunes too. Our testers liked it, and found it a fun product. As there is a new one out, DOSS Extreme Boom+ speaker, it naturally made them keen to try that one out too, rather than something that has been on the market for over six years now. Who knows, maybe Santa will hear their wishes and enable them to review the new product too? More about DOSS SoundBox Pro+ Brilliant Sound: This portable speaker has two full-range drivers and dual passive radiators produce 24W incredible sound with booming bass, tight mids, and crystal clear highs without distortion at any volume. Booming Bass: Make the bass richer and volume louder via a single press of a button. And feel the deep low ends to hit every note with this DOSS SoundBox Pro+ bass Bluetooth speaker. Wireless Stereo Pairing: Connect 2 SoundBox Pro+ wireless speakers via a single device for expansive stereo sound and double the volume. Boom your backyard, barbeque, or patio parties to exhilarating. Beat-Driven Party Lights: The mixed colors flashing lights that sync to the beat including line lights and speaker lights. The Bluetooth speakers with lights create a pulsing light show for any song and turn up the party vibe. Extended Playtime: Built in a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, this battery-powered portable speaker plays seamless music for up to 15 hours at 50% volume without light. (battery life will vary with use, settings, and environmental conditions). See more product reviews here.

We look at the budget range DOSS SoundBox Pro+. See more on their home page here. DOSS SoundBox Pro+, reviewed First up this music box is not big. This could work well as long as it delivers enough sound for it's size. It seems to be splash proof too. Naturally you are not going to want to dunk it to see just how water resistant it is, and our testers did not push it that far, so we can't offer any more detailed insights about just how wet you can get it. Suffice to say, it looks like it could stand being out on an Irish summers day, but, if you leave it outside when the weather turns you may have to do your crying in the rain all on your lonesome. The controls are simple to use, and the battery life is good. As always it will depend just how loud you are playing your tunes, but you should get the day's use out of this device. There are good visual indicators to show you how much power you have left, and it recharges quite quickly too at the end of the day. Our testers enjoyed playing around with it. Although we have just been sent this review sample, it looks like it has been out for a while too, so maybe the market has moved on since this particular model debuted. Either way our tester enjoyed using it and give it a positive thumbs up rating. One for the kids this summer perhaps? Lisa Sun is Founder & CEO of GRAVITAS, a company whose origin story dates back to Lisa's first professional review: that she “lacked gravitas” and “should go buy a new dress, big jewelry, and great shoes.” Realizing the transformative power that clothing can have, Lisa secured the patent on building shapewear into dresses and launched Gravitas as a Confidence Company that offers innovative apparel and styling solutions designed to makeover women from the inside-out. Prior to founding Gravitas, Lisa spent 11 years at McKinsey & Company where she advised leading luxury, fashion, and beauty brands globally on strategic and operational issues. Lisa graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University with distinction in Biology and Political Science. Represented exclusively by Leading Authorities: https://www.leadingauthorities.com/speakers/lisa-sun   About GRAVITAS Our mission is to Catalyze Confidence. GRAVITAS is intelligent function meets versatile fashion. Our patented innovations and styling solutions empower every woman to have a confident sense of self, inspired by our founder Lisa Sun's own life story. The figure-flattering collections are designed for every woman, shape, and size, offered in Sizes 0-24W. Since its Q4 2013 launch, GRAVITAS has garnered a loyal customer following and received over 80 press features, including stories in Oprah Magazine, W Magazine, ELLE, New York Magazine, InStyle, Marie Claire (US, China), People, Cosmopolitan, WWD, Fast Company, Forbes, to name a few, and features on TODAY Show, CNN, and ABC News.    Listen to this Takin' Care of Lady Business Jennifer Justice speaks with Lisa Sun, CEO and founder of Gravitas. Lisa shares her inspiring story of being the daughter of immigrants who came to America with little money and how she became an entrepreneur. She also explains how she founded Gravitas to catalyze confidence and started out by making clothing with shapewear built in.   Here is what to expect on this week's show: - Why believing in yourself is the foundation for achieving success. - How self-worth is an internal process, not an external one. - The importance of using experiences to inform your company. - Why it is important to recognize our own strengths, be kind to ourselves, and find a support group to help us through difficult times.     Quotes: "Dumbo did not need a feather to fly, but it reminded him that he could." - Lisa Sun "Not every journey is just like a linear thing... it's not all roses. Everybody hears about the things that come out and make you an instant billionaire, but that's very rare, and it usually happens to men... you should know what you're getting into." – Jennifer Justice "You don't get written about until you've succeeded, okay? And we never read about the 90% plus of women entrepreneurs who every single day feel alone, especially if you don't have a co-founder, and the burden is solely on you." - Lisa Sun “I tied so much of myself worth to certain metrics…That the sales target, the number, all of these things, I really tied up my self-worth with these external benchmarks... I realized that I could tie my self-worth to the quality of my character... I had to take stock of these other metrics that are not public facing. There's no award documenting your success for yourself." – Lisa Sun Lisa's Book: https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/731156/gravitas-by-lisa-sun/ Gravitas: https://gravitasnewyork.com Learn more about your ad choices. Today we'll go over how to start your seeds and some common questions you may have. Starting seeds doesn't have to be hard or complicated. It may be an initial upfront cost, but will save you money in the long run. Find my favorite seed company and grow lights below. Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds is an amazing seed company. They have a great website catalog, but they also have a free catalog you can get in the mail and a paid full catalog I have ordered the free one to share with people at work because the pictures are absolutely beautiful and last year I bought the full catalog and I leave it out on my end table in the living room. rareseeds.com. To use these Amazon links please copy and pasted the https web address and paste it into a new tab on your browser. This was one of the first grow lights that I ordered. I liked that it had a built in timer (6, 9, and 12 hours) so I could automate the lights turning on. I also loved that it was on a clip so in my closets with the white metal shelves that would be a pain to adjust I could clip it on and easily bend the lights to whatever height I needed. This was also a great price point for me just starting with seeds. I do still use these grow lights if I am starting a smaller batch of seeds. I have upgraded to the ones below. EZORKAS Grow Light, 150W Equivalent Tri Head Timing 80 LED 9 Dimmable Levels Plant Grow Lights for Indoor Plants with Red Blue Spectrum, Adjustable Gooseneck, 3 9 12H Timer, 3 Switch Modes https://a.co/d/j8lO53f These grow lights are amazing. More expensive, but more grow light for your dollar. Very easy to use. You do need something to hang them from. I did buy a mechanical timer to automate them turning on and off. Barrina LED Grow Light, 144W( 6 x 24W, 800W Equivalent), 2ft T8, Full Spectrum, High Output, Linkable Design, T8 Integrated Bulb+Fixture, Plant Lights for Indoor Plants, 6-Pack https://a.co/d/0GkejpZ

MacroFab Engineering Podcast

Dueling OpAmp Inputs Parker Article is lagging behind. Will be done on Friday, promise! Rewiring the Jeep Turn signals. The old wiring was interesting. The side marker bulb socket is isolated from ground. One bulb lead goes to the front marker parking lamp positive circuit. The other lead of the side marker is tied into the front marker turn signal positive circuit. When the parking lights are on and the turn signal off, the side marker grounds through the front marker turn signal filament and illuminates the marker lamp. When the turn signal flashes, it interrupts the ground and the marker will flash by dimming. The front marker gets brighter. So they alternate. When the parking lights are off, the filament which the side marker grounds through is reversed. Thus they blink at the same time. This works cause the wattage difference in the side marker and front marker. 4W for the side marker and 24W for the front. High wattage filament looks like a low resistance path to ground and the side marker doesn’t send enough current to turn them on. Problem when you convert to LED. The system works great with LEDs as is. But because LEDs great have a voltage drop they create a little voltage on the turn signal line. This voltage isnt enough to turn on the turn signal markers up front but it does turn on the indicators on the dash. ANNOYING!
