The are a member of the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicine's working group for Women, Gender-Diversity, and Sexual Minorities. Dee Dee has been a presenter in the Sex Therapy Collaborative and a faculty instructor in the Trauma Therapy program at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. They have presented at the Interdisciplinary Conference on Psychedelic Research (ICPR), The Alt Sex Conference Speaker's Series, The Center for Optimal Living, Ante Up! and are contributing author in the book Queering Psychedelics. They have been featured in articles by Vice Magazine, Chacruna, The Albany Times Union, Medium, Brides, Psymposia, Refinery 29, and Psychology Today. Dee Dee runs therapist consultation groups in Psychedelic Integration Therapy. Dee Dee holds a Master's Degree from the Hunter College School of Social Work. They have received training at the C.J. Jung Foundation and the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. They are fully trained in EMDR through the Parnell Institute and offer EMDR in their practice and have additional training in Internal Family Systems Psychotherapy. During a time in which social justice efforts for adult professionals are silenced, we welcome the iconic Jessica Stoya to discuss the globalization of the adult film industry and its impact on adult industry professionals. Along with discussing historical events that have led to changes in the adult industry, we discuss some of the hurdles that adult performers experience in their personal life that put their basic needs for food and shelter in jeopardy. These hurdles exist due to right wing, sex negative influences in our culture and can result in, for example, the performer being “unbanked” meaning that the performer may have trouble finding and keeping a bank that will allow them to have an account and other banking fundamentals, or they may be refused housing when looking to rent or buy property which can lead to a very real fear of homelessness. This all sounds heavy, but Stoya's impromptu Les Mis musical parody makes it all worth the emotional labor. Trust me. Then, we go on to discuss Stoya's bold career transition from mostly being an adult performer to focusing on writing and being an intimacy coach for Pam Shaffer's clinic Best Self Psych. Scott Sharrard is an acclaimed American guitarist, singer, and songwriter, known for his extensive contributions to the blues, rock, and soul genres. Born on December 28, 1976, in Dearborn, Michigan, Sharrard developed a passion for music early on, influenced by legendary guitarists like Duane Allman, B.B. King, and Jimi Hendrix. He gained widespread recognition as the lead guitarist and musical director for the Gregg Allman Band from 2008 until Allman's passing in 2017, playing a crucial role in shaping the band's sound during his tenure. Meet Jonathan Salemi Jonathan Salemi is a feature film director and producer as well as television producer.
