The Earth Ancients podcast is a brilliant and fascinating show that I have been listening to for almost a year now. Hosted by Cliff, this podcast offers deep insights, diligent research, passion, and well-thought-out questions that make it the perfect listen for anyone with a curious mind. The guests on the show are captivating, providing unique and liberating outlooks on life and our incredible prehistory. This podcast is a must-listen for those seeking intriguing and thought-provoking content.

One of the best aspects of The Earth Ancients podcast is its wide range of well-known researchers, authors, and explorers who offer their expertise on various topics. Whether it's ancient civilizations, alternative theories, or extraterrestrial encounters, this show covers it all. The host's commitment to embracing diverse perspectives and giving everyone a voice is commendable. It creates an engaging atmosphere where listeners can explore different viewpoints and expand their understanding of the world.

However, like any podcast, there are some drawbacks to consider. While Cliff remains tactful in his interviews and strives to present balanced viewpoints, some listeners may detect his own opinions seeping into the discussions. While this may not bother everyone, it could be seen as biased by those seeking completely objective journalism. Additionally, there have been occasional criticisms about the inclusion of guests with unconventional or "crazy" ideas. However, these instances are few and far between in comparison to the overall quality of the show.

In conclusion, The Earth Ancients podcast provides authentic and thought-provoking journalism in a time when it is often lacking. Cliff's dedication to uncovering the truth and exploring diverse perspectives is commendable. From ancient civilizations to alternative theories about our past, this podcast covers fascinating topics that will keep you engaged and eager for more each week. Despite minor flaws here and there, The Earth Ancients podcast remains one of the best in its genre, delivering informative content that expands our understanding of our world's history.

From the executive director of Zen Caregiving Project and creator of the Mindful Caregiving Education course comes a much-needed guide offering practical advice, emotional support, and a path to spiritual solace for the millions of undersupported caregivers in the USRosalynn Carter said, “There are only four kinds of people in the world: those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers, and those who will need caregivers.” The past ten years have supported this observation, as the number of caregivers in the US has grown from 42 million to more than 53 million. With one in five American adults now in this role, many have found that they are emotionally and spiritually unprepared for the difficult and emotionally taxing task of caring for a seriously ill family member or patient. As a caregiver himself, and executive director of Zen Caregiving Project, Roy Remer was inspired to write Zen Caregiving to help support the emotional burden many caregivers experience and to augment this essential component of our healthcare system. After developing the Mindful Caregiving Education (MCE) curriculum and teaching MCE courses for many years, Remer was motivated to share what he had learned and taught about mindfulness-based approaches to care.Designed to be motivational, therapeutic, and practical, Zen Caregiving covers:the four components of the Zen approach to caregiving—mindfulness, compassion, loss literacy, and self-carehow to quiet the “thinking mind” to find solace and stay groundedmethods and approaches for expanding compassion and avoiding burnoutthe value of grief and processing losspractical advice for preparing medical directives and end-of-life arrangementshow to create intimacy with oneself to prioritize self-care one breath at a timeZen Caregiving is an essential resource for those in need of spiritual guidance and emotional support as they navigate the often turbulent and uncharted waters of caring for a loved one.Roy Remer is the Executive Director of Zen Caregiving Project (formerly known as Zen Hospice Project). He has been an end-of-life caregiver and educator since 1997 when he trained with Zen Hospice Project (ZHP) to become a volunteer. He served at the bedside for six years at the Guest House facility before serving for seven years on San Francisco's Laguna Honda Hospital's Palliative Care Ward. In 2008, Roy completed a yearlong end-of-life caregiver training at the Metta Institute in Sausalito, CA. A dedicated practitioner in Soto Zen tradition, Roy is a student at the San Francisco Zen Center. Ed Barnhart: The Olmec Enigma, Unearthing MesoAmericas Lost Empire

Play Episode Listen Later Apr 11, 2026 104:16 Transcription Available

In this compelling new episode of Earth Ancients, Cliff Dunning welcomes archaeologist Dr. Ed Barnhart for an in-depth exploration of the Olmec—the mysterious civilization widely regarded as the mother culture of Mesoamerica. Together they journey through the rise of the earliest Olmec centers, including San Lorenzo, La Venta, and Tres Zapotes, examining how these remarkable people emerged in the Gulf Coast lowlands and laid the intellectual and cultural foundations for later civilizations such as the Maya and Zapotec.Listeners will gain rare insight into some of the most fascinating unresolved mysteries surrounding the Olmec, including the meaning of the colossal stone heads, the political structure behind their ceremonial cities, and the extraordinary engineering required to transport multi-ton basalt monuments across vast distances. Dr. Barnhart also explores cutting-edge interpretations of Olmec mathematics, astronomical knowledge, cosmology, and sacred architecture—revealing a society far more intellectually advanced than many realize.A major centerpiece of the discussion examines the startling implications of Aguada Fénix, the enormous ceremonial complex uncovered by Takeshi Inomata and his team in the Middle Usumacinta region of Mexico. Officially classified as an early Maya monumental site, Aguada Fénix has reshaped scholarly understanding because of its immense scale and unexpectedly early construction date. In this episode, Cliff and Dr. Barnhart explore the provocative possibility that Aguada Fénix may in fact preserve strong Olmec cultural fingerprints—or perhaps represent an Olmec ceremonial legacy later absorbed into Maya history. This opens a broader debate about whether some of the earliest monumental constructions traditionally labeled “Maya” may belong to a deeper Olmec horizon that has yet to be fully recognized.By downloading this episode, listeners will come away with a deeper understanding of who the Olmec were, why they matter profoundly in the story of human civilization, and how new discoveries like Aguada Fénix are forcing archaeologists to reconsider the origins of complex society in Mesoamerica. This is not simply a history lesson—it is an archaeological investigation into one of the ancient world's most sophisticated and least understood civilizations, filled with revelations that challenge conventional narratives and invite fresh wonder about humanity's earliest achievements.Dr. Edwin Barnhart, director of the Maya Exploration Center, has over twenty five years of experience in Central, South, and North America as an archaeologist, an explorer, and an instructor. He has appeared in over a dozen documentaries and given presentations all over the world. His involvement in Maya studies began in 1990 as an archaeological intern in the ruins of Copan, Honduras. In January of 1996 he was invited to return to Copan and help the University of Pennsylvania excavate the early acropolis and the tomb of the city's lineage founder. From 1992-1995 he studied art, iconography, and epigraphy (hieroglyphic translation) under the late Dr. Linda Schele at the University of Texas at Austin. During that same time he worked across the state of Texas as a contract archaeologist. https://archaeoed.com/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.

Scott Creighton: The Great Pyramid Hoax 2

Play Episode Listen Later Apr 4, 2026 128:43 Transcription Available

In 1837, deep within the Great Pyramid of Giza, British army officer Colonel Richard W. Howard Vyse made a claim that would define Egyptology for generations: the “discovery” of painted hieroglyphs, including the royal cartouche of Khufu, the pyramid's builder. This single event helped cement forever the idea that the Great Pyramid and all other pyramids at Giza were merely royal tombs.Yet when the surviving notebooks, sketches, and first-hand accounts from Vyse's time are carefully examined, a different and deeply unsettling picture begins to emerge. These accounts reveal troubling discrepancies—erasures, manipulated dates, and contradictory statements—suggesting that the famous “Khufu cartouche” may not be ancient at all, but the product of a Victorian deception. In The Great Pyramid Hoax II, IT engineer and independent researcher, Scott Creighton, returns to the original 1837 evidence to conduct a forensic re-evaluation of what really happened inside those hidden chambers of the Great Pyramid.Through detailed textual, epigraphic, and contextual analysis, he demonstrates how Colonel Vyse's actions—whether through ambition, desperation, or misunderstanding—effectively set Egyptology down a wrong path; a path from which it has never (yet) found its way back. But if the Giza pyramids weren't simple tombs, then what were they? Creighton revisits the ancient Legend of Surid, preserved in early Coptic and Arabic sources, in which a pre-diluvian Egyptian king builds the pyramids to safeguard the wisdom of his age against a looming cataclysm. When this “legend” is read alongside the physical and astronomical layout of the Giza complex, a striking and compelling coherence begins to take shape. What emerges is a radical reappraisal of both the pyramid's function and humanity's own deep history—a reminder that beneath centuries of scholarly orthodoxy may lie the echo of an ancient science, and a warning recorded in stone by a civilization determined that its message should survive the apocalyptic Earth cataclysm that would bring its demise.Meticulously researched and boldly reasoned, The Great Pyramid Hoax II is an inquiry into how one nineteenth-century hoax helped shape our present understanding of Egypt's most ancient past—and how its unraveling may yet reshape our own future.“Egyptologists consider the ochre-painted Khufu cartouche in the Great Pyramid as the ultimate proof that this pyramid belongs to the Fourth Dynasty pharaoh Khufu. But much controversy surrounds its authenticity. If the Khufu cartouche is indeed a hoax, then the implications are tremendous. Scott Creighton has undertaken a very bold and meticulous investigation into this mystery. The Great Pyramid Hoax is a must-read book for all seekers of truth.” Robert Bauval, author of The Soul of Ancient Egypt ― Robert Bauval, author of The Soul of Ancient Egypt“An intriguing narrative, The Great Pyramid Hoax expertly weaves its way through the sands of time, as it revisits one of Egyptology's most contentious issues--the dating of the Great Pyramid. In the best traditions of alternative research Creighton takes the reader on a personal journey of exploration, skillfully weaving powerful themes upon clear emotional expression, as he attempts to uncover the veracity behind one of Egypt's most endearing mysteries. A must-read for those searching for the truth.” ― Lorraine Evans, Egyptologist, death historian, and author of Kingdom of the Ark"A powerfully-argued demolition of the 'facts' on which Egyptologists base their claim that the Great Pyramid was built by the Fourth Dynasty pharaoh Khufu. Scott Creighton's excellent new book The Great Pyramid Hoax is a first-class forensic investigation that Egyptologists should really be paying a great deal of attention to, because it pulls the rug of their chronology right out from under their feet." ― Graham Hancock, author of Fingerprints of the GodsAbout the AuthorScott Creighton is an engineer whose extensive travels have allowed him to explore many of the world's ancient sacred sites. New Swabia (Neuschwabenland) was a territorial claim made by Nazi Germany in the late 1930s. Admiral Richard Byrd led Operation Highjump to confront the Nazi base there, and to recover a Nazi flying disc. Admiral Byrd spoke of “flying objects that could fly from pole to pole at incredible speeds.” What if there is a hollow Earth, or very large inhabitable domes under the ice warmed by geothermal heat? Could this be a home base for Antarctica ETs? Lastly, the book uncovers the Black Goo discovered on a pan-Antarctic island, and examines its connection to Transhumanism.Brad Olsen is a captivating speaker and author of eleven books, including four in his Esoteric Series: "Modern Esoteric;" "Future Esoteric;" “Beyond Esoteric;” and the newly-released “Secrets of Antarctica.” An award-winning author, book publisher and conference speaker, his keynote presentations and interviews have enlightened audiences at Contact in the Desert, New Living Expo, the 5D events and dozens of podcast, radio (including Coast to Coast, Ground Zero, and Nino's Corner) and television shows (including Ancient Aliens, America Unearthed, Beyond Belief, Book of Secrets, The Truth is Out There and Mysteries of the Outdoors). Mark Carlotto: Ice Ages and Lost Civilizations

Building upon the author's previous research, An Inconvenient Theory expands upon the idea that multiple advanced civilizations existed during the last 130,000 years. Drawing inspiration from Charles Hapgood's controversial crustal displacement theory, the author explores how shifts in Earth's crust—not just plate tectonics or Milankovitch cycles—might explain glacial cycles, mass extinctions, and unexplained archaeological site alignments. Through detailed analysis of ancient site orientations, climate data, and geological processes, the book proposes a revised mechanism for pole shifts involving an interplay between mantle convection and tidal forces, the same forces that move Earth's oceans. The work challenges mainstream geoscience and climate models, offering a bold, alternative view of Earth's deep history and the cycles of civilization, catastrophe, and climate change.Mark Carlotto has over forty years of experience in space-related applications involving remote sensing, mapping, image processing, pattern recognition, machine learning, and related technologies. He received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1981 and has written over one hundred technical and scientific papers and nine books. He was an assistant adjunct professor at Boston University from 1981 to 1983 where he taught courses in computer architecture and image processing.Outside of his occupation in the aerospace industry, Dr. Carlotto's journey as an independent scientist began in 1985 when he first learned of the infamous Face on Mars in a newspaper article. His first book The Martian Enigmas examines the Face and other unusual objects on the Red Planet first imaged by a Viking orbiter spacecraft in 1976. His research based on a method known as shape-from-shading to analyze the 3-D structure of the Face was included by Carl Sagan in his TV series Cosmos. Dr. Carlotto's second book The Cydonia Controversy steps back from the science of the Mars investigation examining it within the context of the centuries-old search for life beyond Earth and its possible implications. His journey took an unexpected turn in 2003 when he got lost exploring the woods in a place called Dogtown – a deserted colonial settlement in the middle of Cape Ann – an island community north of Boston. There being no detailed maps of the area, he decided to map old roads and trails, stonewalls, cellar holes, and other features using newly emerging GPS technology. His next book The Dogtown Guide, a far cry from Mars, was a field guide and history of Dogtown that received a Preservation Award from the Gloucester Historical Commission in 2007. Relating history and landscape his next book, The Island Woods published in 2012 is a three-hundred-year-long spatial history of the forested interior of Cape Ann complementing other books written about Gloucester's well-known maritime heritage. Combining maps and genealogy data, his third book in the series The Cellars Speak offers new insight into the early settlers who lived in the woods of Cape Ann hundreds of years ago.Another book written at this time Diary of a Serial App Developer is a tongue-in-cheek autobiography of a ten-year stint moonlighting as an early iPhone app developer.Dr. Carlotto's collaboration in a study of astronomical alignments at a Native American ceremonial site published by the Massachusetts Archaeological Society in 2015 was an inkling of things to come. While planning a trip to Mexico a few years later he found the archaeological sites he hoped to visit were not aligned in any obvious way. Before Atlantis published in 2018, describes his discovery that these and other ancient sites across the world appear to have been aligned to previous locations of the North Pole, and virtue of their alignment could be tens of thousands to more than a hundred thousand years old.Completing a book started in the 1990s, Not of This World, released in 2021, examines historical UFO cases and recently disclosed reports of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP). His analysis reveals that some UFOs/UAP are likely real, exceed known aerospace capabilities, appear to defy the laws of physics as they are currently understood, and might not be extraterrestrial in origin.Beyond Atlantis, his next book is the culmination of research into the lost civilizations of the world that began in Before Atlantis. Dr. Carlotto analyzes hundreds of ancient sites and proposes a new theory of ancient civilizations based on an extensive body of evidence that challenges conventional paradigms. His latest book, An Inconvenient Theory, which builds upon previous research, explores the idea of how shifts in Earth's crust—not just plate tectonics or Milankovitch cycles—might explain glacial cycles, mass extinctions, and unexplained archaeological site alignments. Through detailed analysis of ancient site orientations, climate data, and geological processes, Dr. Carlotto proposes a revised mechanism for pole shifts involving an interplay between mantle convection and tidal forces, the same forces that move Earth's oceans.www.beforeatlantis.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.

Podcast music by Koji KoburaA modern continuation of the serious research into the infamous Face on Mars, which had been more than 20 years since books were written & put forth by authors & researchers alike to show and detail about its anomalous nature & its perceived evidence of extraterrestrial origin and intelligent design on the surface of Mars.Despite all of the amazing details & facts presented by those authors & researchers to make a case for the Face being scientifically worthy for further discussion & continued visual research & study of the Face, NASA has claimed the Face of Cydonia has been successfully and scientifically debunked in 2007. The Face being claimed & officially asserted by NASA that it is only a natural object, with tricks of light & shadow showing no intelligent deliberateness regards to what is actually seen in image data. NASA had declared that the case for the Face was closed & was not willing or even interested to discuss the subject seriously, or investigate into the matter further.Sadly, this official NASA position of denial has not been challenged by any of the previous researchers & authors, or any new ones ever since then, to show that not only is the Case for the Face still scientifically valuable for continued debate & continued study of image data we had back then to study, but the vast amount of image data that we do have now available to us, clearly shows that the Case for the Face is far from closed, nor is it close to being over!Gary Leggiere — also known as The Mars Revealer — is an independent researcher and long-time investigator of the infamous Face on Mars. With over two decades of focused study, Gary has hosted radio shows, interviewed key anomaly researchers, and built one of the most extensive public archives dedicated to the topic. The Faces of Mars is his debut book — a culmination of decades spent challenging NASA's claims and uncovering suppressed image data that may point to artificial structures on the Red Planet.Gary is the founder of The Martian Revelation show, where he continues to speak publicly on planetary anomalies, space mysteries, and the search for intelligent life beyond Earth. For interviews or inquiries, email: marsrevealer at gmail dot comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.

Preliminary metallurgical and epigraphicanalyses suggest the object predates any known modern or colonial Chinese presence in theregion. The artefact, associated with Daoist deity worship, may indicate ancient maritimeconnections between Asia and northern Australia. This paper summarises the discovery, expert opinions, initial analyses, and recommendations for future study and preservation. What Has Been FoundA square-shaped cast metal seal (90mm2, 20g) with eight Chinese characters and two sidemarkings, believed to represent the “Tiger-tamer Marshal Zhao of the Dark Altar” (玄壇伏虎趙公元帥)—a Daoist deity linked to wealth, protection, and navigation. The artefact bearsthe hallmarks of imperial-level craftsmanship, including a nine-fold casting method andcomplex copper-zinc alloy composition consistent with early high-temperature metallurgy.2. Who Found ItThe seal was discovered by John Miltenburg in collaboration with local researchers. Theinitial academic interpretation and contextual analysis were later undertaken by Ed Liu(Chinese scholar) and Ian Hudson and team, with external review and correspondence withDr Luk Yu-ping, Curator of Chinese Paintings and Prints at the British Museum.3. When It Was FoundThe discovery occurred in early May 2022 during surface exploration of the wetlands areasurrounding Tortilla Flats, Northern Territory, approximately 110 km south of Darwin.4. Where It Was Found and in What CircumstancesThe seal was recovered from wetlands heavily embedded in clay, located between twocreek systems near Tortilla Flats. The location's hydrological conditions likely preserved theartefact by limiting exposure to air and corrosive elements. There is no evidence of modernhabitation, trade, or military activity in the immediate vicinity that would explain the seal'spresence through known historical channels.https://forgottenorigin.com/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.

Menard: Greater Than Gravity, How Childhood Trauma is Pulling Down HumanityWhat if America's #3 leading cause of death has been hiding in plain sight? In Greater Than Gravity, Michael Menard exposes a devastating truth that will shock the world: Childhood trauma is killing 889 Americans every day—more than accidents, strokes, and diabetes combined. Yet it doesn't appear on any official cause-of-death list because we've been counting the bodies wrong. When someone with severe childhood trauma dies of a "heart attack" at 55 instead of 75, we call it heart disease. When they overdose, it's addiction. When they take their own life, it's suicide. But strip away the medical terminology and you see the truth: these are trauma deaths, pure and simple."This is the largest threat to the well-being of humanity known today." —Dr. Glenn Schiraldi, world-renowned trauma expertAfter building a corporate empire and creating fourteen revolutionary patents, Menard made a discovery that stopped him cold. While writing his memoir about growing up with thirteen siblings, he realized their "tough childhood" was actually complex trauma. Its deadly fingerprints were everywhere—two brothers lost to addiction, his family stalked by depression, and invisible wounds that bled across generations. His engineer's mind couldn't let it go.What he uncovered will change everything: Childhood Trauma is the #1 cause of addiction, suicide and incarceration. 89% of teen suicide attempts trace to childhood trauma. 85-100% of addiction patients have trauma histories. 90% of prisoners carry childhood scars. The $14 trillion annual cost exceeds our entire defense budget. We've been treating symptoms while the real epidemic claims nearly 900 lives daily. But here's what no one saw coming: The very force pulling humanity down could become the force that lifts us up.Greater Than Gravity isn't just a book—it's the battle cry that breaks the silence on America's hidden killer. Through his foundation UACT, Menard presents the first comprehensive plan to end childhood trauma entirely. Not reduce it. Not manage it. END IT. The 889 daily deaths we could prevent. The lives we could heal. The future we could change. It all starts with opening this book.Labeled as "non college bound" he was placed in a trade school program. At the age of twenty-one Michael Menard joined Johnson & Johnson to operate the blueprint machine. Twenty-five years later he was named the company's first VP of engineering and an officer of the company with responsibilities in forty-four countries. Now labeled as "exemplary creator", he has received fourteen US and multiple international patents, including the inventions of infant disposable diapers with elastic legs and sanitary napkins with wings for women. As co-founder and president of The GenSight Group, a company helping corporations find a systematic approach to strategic choice and resource optimization, Michael has advised senior leadership at institutions such as Fedex, Westinghouse, Cisco, Glaxo, Pfizer, Coca-Cola, and the US Department of Energy. Despite occultists' fascination with Rudolf 's successors, Frederick and Elizabeth, at the start of the Thirty Years' War—and Rosicrucian efforts to make Frederick the first Protestant Holy Roman Emperor—the esoteric renaissance in Bohemia was short-lived. In March 2011, The Sunday Times ran an article on the discovery of a mysterious cache of palm-sized, ring-bound books made of lead. These lead codices, as they have become known, contain mysterious symbols and inscriptions. One tablet in particular features a portrait of Jesus and has preserved the seven seals that would have bound it together along its left-hand side.  David and Jennifer Elkington photographed the books, brought samples to the UK for analysis, and assembled a team of eminent scholars to study them. At the same time, the books were quickly becoming an international phenomenon, the Israelis and Jordanians began a very public dispute over the location of the site where they were discovered. Convinced that the codices are the earliest Christian documents ever found, the Elkingtons put their reputations on the line as they raced to authenticate the find amidst an array of vested interests which sought to suppress them.  In their quest to crack the code, the Elkingtons have been subjected to personal threat but they have continued the fight to ensure the world understands the importance of the codices, which may well pre-date the New Testament. Their significance in our understanding of early Christianity cannot be underestimated. One day in Oxfordshire, England, in 2007, husband and wife academics David and Jennifer Elkington viewed a set of photographs that would change their lives. The objects in the pictures appeared to be antiquated books, made of metal and replete with iconography and inscribed with ancient script. The couple travelled to Jordan where the codices were found, brought samples to the UK for analysis and assembled a team of eminent scholars t study them. At the same time, the books were quickly becoming an international phenomenon - the Israelis and Jordanians began a very public dispute over the location of the site where they were discovered. Convinced that the codices are the earliest Christian artefacts ever found, the Elkingtons put their reputations on the line as they raced to authenticate the find amidst an array of vested interests that sought to suppress them. This is the journey that takes them from the sleepy shires of England to harrowing trips to the Middle East, involving Bedouin dealers and expeditions to unexplored caverns dating from the dawn of Christianity."Although I heard, I did not understand. So I said, 'My Lord, what shall be the end of these things?' He replied, 'Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed until the end of time.'" Her doctoral research at UNE examined how history museums communicate with the public in the digital age, exploring how institutions shape cultural memory, identity, and civic engagement through technology. This work bridged museum studies, sociology, and communication theory, offering insights into how societies curate their own narratives, and what those choices reveal about power, heritage, and truth. Her current research explores the intersection of archaeology, mythology, and power: forgotten temples, anomalous artifacts, elite rituals, and the selective preservation of history. She does not confine herself to the academic mainstream, nor does she chase the fringe for spectacle. Sol knows that neurodivergent people often feel that nothing they have been taught relates to how they experience the world. A science-backed guide to discovering the real power of magic and implementing it in your life, from the renowned author of Real MagicThere is an idea that shakes the core of our scientific principles: That our consciousness participates in creating our physical reality. It's an idea that runs counter to the materialist worldview we're all taught in school. But the outer edges of scientific inquiry bleed into what can only be called 'magic.'Dean Radin, Ph.D., is at the forefront of researching magic from a scientific standpoint. In The Science of Magic, he shines a light on today's scientific breakthroughs, from quantum mechanics to the mind-body connection to telepathy, that can best be explained by what we currently call magic (or psi). In short, today's magic is the science of tomorrow. He shares his own groundbreaking research on psi phenomena, and explains how you can start utilizing these findings in your own life today.Accessible and practical, The Science of Magic offers magical methods from the perspective of a scientist, demonstrating how to effect change with exercises and hands-on techniques. In short, magic is a mental skill, like meditation or mathematics. You will find a quiz to discover your natural talents and foundational activities for strengthening your skills, including:• Affirmations (word magic)• Sigils• Knots• Candle magic• Writing magic• Spell-castingWith his uniquely science-backed approach, Dean guides you through testing magic on your own, for example through dream precognition, evoking synchronicity, and more. The Science of Magic is a journey to the outer edges of our understanding of the universe, showing where science is leading us: namely, to magic.Dean Radin is Chief Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), Associated Distinguished Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies, and cofounder and chairman of the biotech company, Cognigenics. A person's sign can influence their personality, physical characteristics, and fate. However, in ancient Mesopotamia, the first zodiac was divided into eighteen signs—different from the Western and Vedic systems in use today. The Original Zodiac reveals, for the first time in more than 4,000 years, this earliest known system of astrology. The original Mesopotamian zodiac offered very different birth signs, including the Serpent, Swan, Crane, Horse, Wolf, and Eagle. This zodiac was recorded on a clay tablet that is now housed in the British Museum, cataloged as BM 86378, but there is no written record of how these signs were interpreted. Now, after decades of intensive research, Graham Phillips reveals the meanings of these mysterious signs and their relevance for our times. To determine what traits might be shared by those born in each sign of the original zodiac, Phillips comprehensively surveyed hundreds of volunteers from diverse backgrounds. He measured each participant's likes, dislikes, hobbies, habits, employment, health information, and other pertinent aspects of their lives and identities. Not intended to replace or challenge our traditional understanding of astrology, his findings offer an original system to enrich our current knowledge of the personality, character, and destiny of those born in each of its enigmatic signs.Graham Phillips is one of Britain's bestselling nonfiction authors. After the tragic death of his son, Jordan, the author embarked on a journey for ways to communicate with his son across the veil. He discovered not only successful methods to connect with lost loved ones but also profound truths about the afterlife, the illusion of loss, and how pain is integral to our life purpose.McKay recounts techniques he tried in order to connect with his son, including collecting unusual experiences from family and friends, consulting mediums such as Austyn Wells, undergoing past-life and between-life regressions, engaging in a technique called Induced After-Death Communication, and using channeled writing, which he learned with the help of psychologist Ralph Metzner. The culmination of hundreds of channeled conversations with his son, the author presents revelations about the soul's life after death, the structure and key events of the afterlife, how karma works, why we incarnate, our future as souls, and how to love in the face of pain. As Jordan reveals, nothing is truly lost. The soul is constant and, while pain seems to damage us, the damage is an illusion. Because, as Jordan says, “there is no end; the conversation goes on . . . between all the souls who love each other, living and dead.”Matthew McKay, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist, professor of psychology at the Wright Institute, cofounder of Haight Ashbury Psychological Services, founder of the Berkeley CBT Clinic, and cofounder of the Bay Area Trauma Recovery Clinic, which serves low-income clients. Catherine (Katie) Ulissey, wife and research partner of geologist Dr. Robert Schoch, found her early years shaped by dance. Conservatory trained, she turned professional at the age of 16, performing with classical ballet and contemporary dance companies, and later transitioning to musical theater, performing on Broadway in a number of productions including the original cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera". Her early childhood in Saudi Arabia sparked a lifelong fascination with ancient mysteries. Katie and Dr. Schoch met at a conference on the topic in 2007 and married on Easter Island in 2010. Together, they have co-authored works exploring ancient civilizations and their connections to cosmic events. Katie has contributed significantly to her husband's research, including connecting Easter Island's previously undeciphered rongorongo script to global “plasma petroglyphs” first identified by renowned physicist Dr. Anthony Peratt of Los Alamos National Laboratory. This discovery shifted her husband's research toward our Sun as the probable cause of the end of the last ice age. Related to this, she noticed giant Lichtenberg patterns emanating from beneath the Great and Second Pyramids on the Giza Plateau (dendritic patterns would be consistent with plasma ejected during massive solar outbursts). More recently, she has offered an hypothesis regarding the potential “Ancient and Intentional Burial of Ancient Egypt” (in similar fashion to Göbekli Tepe). She holds a B.A. from Emerson College (2002) and stays connected to her dance roots by teaching ballet at Wellesley College. She is the author of a children's book, “Adriana and the Ancient Mysteries: The Great Sphinx”, published in German, Italian, and English (revised edition).Dr. Robert M. Schoch, a full-time faculty member at the College of General Studies at Boston University since 1984, and a recipient of its Peyton Richter Award for interdisciplinary teaching, earned his Ph.D. in Geology and Geophysics at Yale University in 1983. He also holds an M.S. and M.Phil. in Geology and Geophysics from Yale, as well as degrees in Anthropology (B.A.) and Geology (B.S.) from George Washington University. In recognition of his research into ancient civilizations, Dr. Schoch was awarded (in 2014) the title of Honorary Professor of the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy in Varna, Bulgaria. In 2017, the College of General Studies at Boston University named him Director of its Institute for the Study of the Origins of Civilization (ISOC).In the early 1990s, Dr. Schoch stunned the world with his revolutionary research that recast the date of the Great Sphinx of Egypt to a period thousands of years earlier than its standard attribution. In demonstrating that the leonine monument has been heavily eroded by water despite the fact that its location on the edge of the Sahara has endured hyper-arid climactic conditions for the past 5,000 years, Dr. Schoch revealed to the world that mankind's history is greater and older than previously believed. The subsequently excavated 12,000-year-old megalithic site of Göbekli Tepe in Turkey confirmed these assertions.Dr. Schoch's more recent research has focused on the cataclysmic events that ended Earth's last ice age, circa 9700 BCE, simultaneously decimating the high civilizations of the time. The overwhelming evidence drawn from varying disciplines, put forth in his book Forgotten Civilization: New Discoveries on the Solar-Induced Dark Age (2021), points to enormous solar outbursts as the cause.Dr. Schoch has been quoted extensively in the media for his work on ancient cultures and monuments around the globe. His research has been instrumental in spurring renewed attention to the interrelationships between geological and astronomical phenomena, natural catastrophes, and the early history of civilization. He has appeared on numerous radio and television shows and is featured in the Emmy-winning documentary The Mystery of the Sphinx, which first aired on NBC in 1993.The author and coauthor of books both technical and popular, Dr. Schoch's works include Phylogeny Reconstruction in Paleontology (1986), Stratigraphy: Principles and Methods (1989), Voices of the Rocks (1999), Voyages of the Pyramid Builders (2003), Pyramid Quest (2005), The Parapsychology Revolution (2008), Forgotten Civilization: The Role of Solar Outbursts in Our Past and Future (2012), Origins of the Sphinx (2017), and the 2nd edition (revised and expanded) of Forgotten Civilization, subtitled New Discoveries on the Solar-Induced Dark Age (2021), among others. Dr. Schoch is also the coauthor of an environmental science textbook used in universities across the United States, and he has contributed to numerous magazines, journals, and reviews on geology, ancient civilizations, parapsychology, and other topics. His works have been translated into a number of languages and distributed around the world.Besides his academic and scholarly studies, Dr. Schoch is an active environmental advocate who stresses a pragmatic, hands-on approach. In this connection, he helped found a local community land trust devoted to protecting land from harmful development, serving on its Board of Directors for many years. And despite acknowledging that our Sun is a major driver of climate on the planet, Dr. Schoch takes an active part in “green” politics; for over a decade he served as an elected member of his local city council. In 1993, an extinct mammal genus was named Schochia in honor of Dr. Schoch's paleontological contributions. It was at the instigation of the late John Anthony West (1932—2018) that Dr. Schoch first began studying the age of the Sphinx. The chamber beneath the Sphinx's paw, which Dr. Schoch, working with Dr. Thomas Dobecki, discovered in the early 1990s and which many people believe is an ancient archive or "Hall of Records" remains unexplored. In 2010 (and grateful to the dignitaries who made it possible), Dr. Schoch married former ballet and Broadway dancer Catherine Ulissey in both civil and traditional Rapanui ceremonies on Easter Island.Dr. Schoch's website is www.robertschoch.com.- - - - -Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.

John KokkoWhen I moved to the SF Bay area, a friend introduced me to Fu Yu-Tai, a renowned tui-na (traditional Chinese bodywork) practitioner in the Outer Richmond of the city. I became his first student, spending every Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm for a year studying under him and working with his patients. At the same time, I got a job working at Mayway, the largest Chinese herbal company in the country. Mama Lau became famous in Chinatown a couple of decades back, selling every traditional herb under the sun. She even started a restaurant cooking traditional herbal soups and dishes next door to their herb shop. What I learned there by the time they moved to Oakland was invaluable. I stayed there for 7 years, which got me through graduate school.Since acupuncture licensure, I've taught dozens of graduate courses at three acupuncture colleges for a decade and ran a program to help hundreds of graduates pass their state and national licensure board exams.I also sat on the board of the California State Oriental Medical Association for 5 years, working with others in guiding policy and continuing education for our profession. However, I am most proud of teaching for 3 years at Contra Costa College. At this community college, the academic dean, Susan Lee, now a family friend, helped me set up a program for preventative health using the principles of traditional Chinese medicine. We saw people who reversed major alcohol and smoking addiction, chronic pain, blood sugar and hypertension issues, and anxiety and depression by utilizing the eight branches of Chinese medicine in their everyday lives. This was nothing short of miraculous in many cases and still inspires me today. My passions include creating community through the art of tea. For this, I owe a debt of gratitude to my late tea teacher, Winnie Yu, one of the first to bring artisanal tea to the West. She taught me to be generous and authentic, and that tea, like so many things, can bring us all together and dissolve differences.I continue to refine my clinical practice through ongoing studies with orthopedic expert Alon Marcus and Lonny Jarrett, a pioneer in integral medicine. Both have been awe-inspiring mentors and great friends on this amazing journey. I am committed to translating the depth of these teachers into our life practices, and I look forward to working with you. https://www.instagram.com/explore/locations/318244849/kokko-wellness/https://www.kokkowellness.com/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.

This thought-provoking book presents a radically revised version of human prehistory. In a departure from previous works in this area, which have compiled puzzling phenomena and speculative ideas, this volume - the first in a series of four - provides a coherent and conclusive framework that offers a better understanding of our collective prehistoric history. Many events from a bygone era that are often dismissed as myth or fringe theory are investigated through the lens of mathematics and the natural sciences. The result is a compelling concept that challenges entrenched beliefs and sheds new light on distant past of humanity.Adopting a multidisciplinary approach, the place of humankind in nature and the cosmos is explored. In particular, this book provides answers to the question of whether humans are solely the product of natural evolution or if genetic engineering has influenced our development. It critically reinterprets the global spread of humanity, particularly the settlement of the Americas, in light of the latest findings from field research. In addition, it examines the astonishing mathematical and scientific knowledge of ancient civilizations, which reveals how little we truly understand about prehistory. The insights presented call for a paradigm shift in how we perceive our origins and evolution. Readers seeking a deeper and more nuanced understanding of history will find this a stimulating and transformative view.Aloys Eiling was born on 2 Oct. 1952 in Reken, Germany. He graduated from Gymnasium with a focus on ancient languages and history. He later went on to study physics and astronomy. He completed his studies with a doctorate in 1981 at the University of Bochum. In his professional career, he worked for 35 years in the chemical industry. After 17 years as a laboratory and department head in Central Research, he managed global Business Units in some major chemical companies. After his retirement in 2016, he published various books using natural science to elucidate his different perspective on prehistory.https://grahamhancock.com/author/aloys-eiling/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.

At the dawn of human history, on a sun-blazed hill in Southeastern Anatolia, an ancient mystery was carved into stone. Göbeklitepe, older than Stonehenge and the Pyramids, stands as a silent witness to the birth of belief itself. Yet beyond its massive pillars and enigmatic carvings lies another story, one of human longing, memory, and return.Damla Selin Tomru invites readers on a journey that transcends time and geography. Her exploration begins as a personal pilgrimage and expands into a dialogue with archaeologists, mystics, and scientists who each see Göbeklitepe through different eyes.Through these voices the reader discovers not only the earliest temple known to humankind but also the enduring human need to create meaning amid the unknown. This is not merely a book about archaeology; it is an intimate meditation on transformation. From the dust of the Fertile Crescent to the silence of the excavation trenches, Tomru uncovers how faith, art, and civilization were born together.Göbeklitepe reminds us that every journey outward, to ancient ruins and forgotten symbols, is also a journey inward. In the meeting between past and present, Göbeklitepe: Mysteries of the Neolithic Era opens the door to a profound realization that what we seek in the stones of history has always lived within us.Damla Selin Tomru is one of Turkey's most vocal experts on the subject of Tas Tepeler, the high culture that created extraordinary ritual centres at places like Gobekli Tepe, Karahan Tepe and Sayburc. Her aim is to bring together the archaeologists working at these sites and the ancient mystery writers that see them as evidence of a lost page of human history. Her new book, titled Gobekli Tepe, does just that giving equal time to both sides of the divide so that the reader can make their own minds up on the true nature of this gradually emerging picture of discovery, which is constantly revealing new finds and new mysteries.https://www.instagram.com/damla_selin_tomru/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.

A unique study of the engineering and tools used to create Egyptian monumentsPresents a stone-by-stone analysis of key Egyptian monuments, including the statues of Ramses II and the tunnels of the SerapeumReveals that highly refined tools and mega-machines were used in ancient EgyptFrom the pyramids in the north to the temples in the south, ancient artisans left their marks all over Egypt, unique marks that reveal craftsmanship we would be hard pressed to duplicate today. Drawing together the results of more than 30 years of research and nine field study journeys to Egypt, Christopher Dunn presents a stunning stone-by-stone analysis of key Egyptian monuments, including the statue of Ramses II at Luxor and the fallen crowns that lay at its feet. His modern-day engineering expertise provides a unique view into the sophisticated technology used to create these famous monuments in prehistoric times.Using modern digital photography, computer-aided design software, and metrology instruments, Dunn exposes the extreme precision of these monuments and the type of advanced manufacturing expertise necessary to produce them. His computer analysis of the statues of Ramses II reveals that the left and right sides of the faces are precise mirror images of each other, and his examination of the mysterious underground tunnels of the Serapeum illuminates the finest examples of precision engineering on the planet. Providing never-before-seen evidence in the form of more than 280 photographs, Dunn's research shows that while absent from the archaeological record, highly refined tools, techniques, and even mega-machines must have been used in ancient Egypt.Christopher Dunn is a master craftsman and engineer with thirty-five years of experience. A few weeks after the failure of her business in London, Sarah was asked a question in a book she was reading. “What does money want to say to you?” She started writing a response and found words coming out of her pen that weren't her own. They started with, “I would like to tell you to love me.”She was deeply touched, and intrigued to explore more about the source of this message. She went on to write in the same way every day for three months and ended up with a collection of surprising, funny and inspiring advice, apparently from the energy of money itself. Those writings turned into this book. It takes you into the heart of the world of money, but not into financial systems as they exist on this planet.Rather it gives you an insight into how the money energy operates behind our physical world. It shows you what happens when you make any financial request and explains why so many people struggle with lack of money. It gives clear, simple guidelines on how to transform your relationship with money so you can be aligned with the way it works naturally, including two blueprints for making money in today's world. It's funny at times, very uplifting and enlightening in surprising ways, offering a view of money unlike anything we've seen elsewhere. Perhaps the most radical discovery in these writings is the sense that money is not a neutral energy that we can make good or bad decisions about. It is a truly benign, loving energy that is always available for us. This challenges many of our preconceived notions about money and invites us into a profoundly different relationship with it.Most people experience fear and stress around money and they're not aware how much it's influencing their business, financial and family life, and their impact in the world. Sarah McCrum is a leading money consciousness coach who has transformed the lives of over twenty thousand business owners and their families.
