Scott and Jon are on for episode 439 as they give a full preview of the Bucs game against the Washington Football Team as both organizations return from a bye. They also get into the other latest news around the Bucs, which includes the signings of Breshad Perriman and Darren Fells along with getting Scotty Miller and Sean Murphy-Bunting back to practice. The biggest and yet most concerning thing we found out, too, is the foot injury to Chris Godwin. Hear it all on the Pewter Report Podcast, energized by CELSIUS.
James Yarcho and Chris Russell join forces this week to preview the Buccaneers and the Washington Football Team ahead of their week ten matchup on this Crossover Thursday episode! Both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Football Team are coming out of their bye week and preparing for a rematch of the 2020 NFC Wild Card game where the Bucs emerged victorious on their way to winning Super Bowl LV. This time around, things tend to be pointing towards the Buccaneers as well. The Washington Football Team has struggled on the defensive side of the ball, ranking dead last in the NFL against the pass while giving up almost 29 points per game, which ranks 29th. For the Bucs, it's all about the injuries. Even though Sean Murphy-Bunting and Scotty Miller have returned to practice, that doesn't mean that they'll play this week. All the while Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski seem unlikely to see any action this week. In Brown's case, it could be a while longer before he sets foot on the field, sparking the return of wide receiver Breshad Perriman to the Tampa Bay practice squad. The Bucs are heavy favorites in this one, coming into week ten at -10 according to BetOnline while the Over/Under sits at 51.5. The oddsmakers are expecting a lot of scoring in this - and who could blame them? However, can the Bucs continue to overcome injuries and penalty problems or did a week off after the loss to the New Orleans Saints cause more harm than good? The Chicago Bears' final roster is set, kind of. With most of the dust settling, the guys break down the roster as they discuss new players Breshad Perriman and Nsimba Webster, takeaways from Ryan Pace's press conference, the biggest surprises, the "head-scratching" moves, whether or not you should be concern regarding the Bears being the NFL's oldest team, determining if positions are better, worse or the same compared to 2020, and much more including a new game called "Feast or Famine." Plus the guys share season predictions like who'll be the 2021 MVB, a season bold prediction, confidence meter, and of course their official record predictions. 1. NFL, NFLPA agree to COVID-19 protocols for regular season, 2. Was ESPN tricked into airing a 58-0 high school football blowout? 3. CHICAGO BEARS 53 Man Roster, 4. Bears' Danny Trevathan heads to injured reserve 5. Lauri Markkanen & BULLS benefit from parting ways, MONSTERS! The Chicago Bears are adding a wide receiver, a returner and two cornerbacks they just cut as they continue to maneuver their 53-man roster. The Bears are signing sixth-year receiver Breshad Perriman, general manager Ryan Pace confirmed Wednesday. Perriman, whom the Detroit Lions cut earlier this week, has 125 catches for 2,066 yards and 14 touchdowns in his career. He had 30 catches for 505 yards and three touchdowns last season with the New York Jets. The 31-year old Danny Trevathan did play in all 16 games last year for the Bears, but if the 29-year old Ogletree plays well he could replace Trevathan in the starting lineup permanently. Ogletree appears to be better in coverage at this point in their respective careers.

The New Orleans Saints have already made some tough decisions with some notable roster cuts. But in the cases of Alex Armah, Easop Winston, and Kawann Baker, no doesn't mean never. How the roster rules work and could benefit the Saints as they look to potentially add players like Wil Lutz, Michael Thomas, Tre'Quan Smith, and Adam Trautman to injured reserve. There have already been some notable roster moves that impact the New Orleans Saints. Could they look to reunite Jameis Winston and Breshad Perriman? And one key roster move that keeps the Saints from addressing a premiere position. The Saints could be on the move for the first regular season game of the 2021 season against the Green Bay Packer, but out west won't be the solution. Sean Payton discusses potential options for the team. Meanwhile, more roster cuts are expected. Which to look out for within and outside of the organization. Keenan Allen (11:16) can excel in a plus matchup versus the Falcons and hit value in cash games and Aaron Rodgers (16:53) has huge smash potential against an extremely ineffective Lions pass defense. If A.J. Brown sits or is limited, Corey Davis (32:47) is a great value play (especially in GPPs) who can produce a ton of points in a soft matchup with Jacksonville. Host Ian Hartitz is joined by Establish The Run cofounder Evan Silva to discuss a number of topics related to Week 13 and beyond. The guys start things out by breaking down what we should expect from Alvin Kamara moving forward with Taysom Hill under center. Evan is in agreement that D.K. Metcalf is an easy buy as the No. 1 WR you'd most want on your fantasy team for the next 10 years, but offers some additional solid candidates as well. Ian wonders if the Titans could be the No. 1 threat to the Chiefs from the AFC, but Evan is willing to give the Steelers that crown despite agreeing with PFF_George that they are a bit overrated. Additional topics include: which rookie 2020 RB would you pick first in 2021, Breshad Perriman's ideal 2021 landing spot, what to expect from the Raiders moving forward, making sense of Cam Newton's 2020 season, and much more.
DK Metcalf went crazy again Monday night, and Carson Wentz...went a different kind of crazy? We'll review all the rest of the Week 12 game film, and also attack the waiver wire for your adds and drops in advance of the last week of most fantasy football regular seasons. The Fantasy Football Sackos are back to talk through week 13 waiver wire moves. Players discussed include Cam Akers, Brian Hill, Allen Lazard, Breshad Perriman, and more. Fantasy Football Podcast for December 1st, 2020.
We're joined by fantasy football Youtuber Andrew Kiorkof to discuss our favorite waiver wire pickups heading into Week 13. If Josh Jacobs misses time, would Devontae Booker (9:41) be the top back to add, or does the safety of Frank Gore (7:22) actually make him a preferable option? It may seem gross, but Breshad Perriman and Denzel Mims (33:06) could both be viable waiver targets on a Jets offense that will consistently find itself in negative game scripts. After playing all the snaps and scoring a touchdown last week, is Gabriel Davis (41:28) primed for solid production while John Brown is out? We end the show with a game of Drop or Keep (51:45) and wonder whether it's time to let go of players like J.D. McKissic (52:53) and Leonard Fournette (55:03). Update: Jonathan Taylor has not yet tested positive for COVID-19 and is instead a high-risk close contact. Host Ian Hartitz breaks down the Patriots' Monday night win over the Jets and provides his thoughts on some of the week's top waiver wire options. Cam Newton again found fantasy success thanks in large part to his legs, but we also saw a new productive player emerge from this offense in Jakobi Meyers. Credit to Joe Flacco for largely playing great until the middle of the fourth quarter. Breshad Perriman might just be the Jets WR to roster as long as Sam Darnold remains sidelined. Ian finishes off the show with waiver wire thoughts on the likes of: David Moore, J.D. McKissic, Duke Johnson, Curtis Samuel, Allen Lazard, Lamar Miller, Drew Lock and more.
Host Ian Hartitz is joined by PFF regular Andrew Erickson to break down every game from the Week 7 slate. The guys are in on Boston Scott as a fantasy RB2 over the next two weeks, but things are a bit less optimistic for anyone involved in the Giants offense at the moment. Expect both Josh Allen and Kareem Hunt to bounce back this week, while Breshad Perriman could be a sneaky DFS punt-play option. The Washington Football Team is set up well against the Cowboys defense because, like, who isn't. Further discussion includes thoughts on: CEH and Le'Veon Bell situation, if Jaguars-Chargers can be a sneaky shootout, what to make of Jimmy G's reluctance to throw downfield, and much more.
Waiver Wired, Season 2, Episode 6: The Podfather Matt Kelley (@fantasy_mansion) has pinpointed top fantasy football waiver wire adds and FAAB bids heading into week 7. Boston Scott cannot be stopped. Jamycal Hasty has maximum intrigue. Stash Gus Edwards at value. Christian Kirk feels like a trap. Tim Patrick is the best-value waiver wire add heading into week 7. Breshad Perriman and Lamical Perine are playable Jets. Demarcus Robinson is a worthy flex option. Damiere Byrd is Cam Newton's go-to outside receiver. Now is the time to stash Sterling Shepard and Irv Smith. SummaryIt's Greg's last episode of The Most Accurate Podcast, and he's going out in style with Rich Hribar joining the program. They kick things off with some NFL news from early in the week, including Jalen Hurd's injury, the Jaguars' nebulous backfield, the battle for Tampa Bay's No. 3 receiver role, and Nick Chubb's concussion. The balance of the show is an all-encompassing breakdown of wide receiver strategy (19:10). How should RBs eligible at WR like Antonio Gibson and Lynn Bowden be valued? What should our overarching approach to wideouts be in fantasy? Which receiver will dethrone Michael Thomas for the WR1 crown? Which early-round guys are traps? Who are the best mid-round guys to target? Who are 2020's most overvalued and undervalued wide receivers? Who's are the toughest pass-catchers to evaluate in fantasy? Which players will end up being the best values from the NFL's more ambiguous WR groups? Which wideouts are Rich and Greg drafting most often? Who do they wish they could draft more often? Who are some of the best sleepers in the very late rounds? SummaryOn this episode of The Most Accurate Podcast, Alex Gelhar joins Greg for a grab bag of fantasy football topics. They kick off the show by catching up on the news of Cam Newton joining the New England Patriots, who seems relatively affordable relative to name value based on evidence from recent Scott Fish Bowl drafts. Your hosts discuss whether or not he's a value if Newton's SFB cost holds, plus the impact he might have on his new arsenal of weapons. And while Cam has already found a new home, Raheem Mostert is seeking one of his own. Alex and Greg reevaluate the 49ers backfield in the wake of Mostert's trade demand, and they also take stock of San Francisco's passing game with Deebo Samuel now dealing with a Lisfranc injury. The show wraps up with a more theoretical dive into the wide receiver position, in search of potentially undervalued assets who could ascend in the right circumstances this season.LinksFantasy Player Debates at 4for4.comSubscribe to 4for4TMAP B-Sides Playlist on SpotifyGuest: Alex Gelhar - @AlexGelharHost: Greg Smith - @gregsauceFollow UsTwitter: @4for4footballFacebook: www.facebook.com/4for4footballYouTube: www.youtube.com/4for4footballEmail: email@example.com
Our terrific trio takes a look at which players outside the top 180 in half-PPR ADP have the most upside in redraft leagues. Jace Sternberger (4:53) appears to have an amazing opportunity in Green Bay and either Joshua Kelley (29:13) or Justin Jackson could carve out a significant role in the Chargers' backfield. Would Darrynton Evans (40:07) be an RB1 if Derrick Henry ever missed time and is Antonio Gibson (51:05) ready to gain plenty of work as both a runner and a receiver or will he get lost in Washington's crowded backfield?
