Karan Soni was born in New Delhi, India. He debuted as Kemal in Yusuf Sumer's short comedy film Kaka Nirvana, where he co-starred with Rachel Quinn. Soni made his film debut in Yusuf Sumer's 2010 comedy film Kaka Nirvana, alongside Rachel Quinn. In 2013, Soni was cast in the Amazon Studios original series Betas. The series was cancelled after one season. In 2014, Soni appeared in commercials for AT&T. In 2015, Soni appeared in Other Space, a series created by Paul Feig, as Captain Stewart Lipinski. The series was also cancelled after one season. That same year he appeared in episodes of Melissa & Joey The Goldbergs, and 100 Things to Do Before High School, and began starring in Blunt Talk, opposite Patrick Stewart, as Martin. The series was renewed for a second season, which premiered in 2016, but on December 20, was cancelled after two seasons. In 2016, Soni appeared in Deadpool as a taxi driver named Dopinder and in Ghostbusters as a delivery man named Benny. He played Dopinder in 2018's Deadpool 2. For this episode, we’re joined by a very special guest host, Al. Dan kicks things off by giving us all candy, but he must have mixed things up because we all pass out and wake up in a dark tower owned by Ryan Gosling. Luckily we escape in a stolen van, but find the freeway littered with dozens of trailers blocking our path. Pursued by both aliens and mutants, we’re rescued by Deadpool in a cab driven by his friend, Dopinder. Arriving back at Bounty HQ, Chris finds a lightsaber and promptly puts a hole in yet another wall before Dan declares the honeymoon over and Chris is assaulted by an angry lady. Amongst all of these crazy antics, we discuss our thoughts on GABS 2017 and the differences in beer culture between Sydney and Melbourne, and generally make fools of ourselves like we do in most episodes. Steve Harvey met with Donald Trump about how to get even more buttons on his ugly ass suits. As you know the orangest man to ever exist is about to take over the most important job with literally no experience. This week a man who looked like meth riddled Magnum P.I. asked me to give Trump a chance. We also discuss our origins of being about this nerd life. Top loading VCRs are some of the greatest cartoons of all time are brought up. There is a new series in the DC tv universe, Black Lightning. Is that name still ok? Was it ever ok? Except he will not be in the same continutiy as the other heroes that play together. Karl Urban is a man who wears many hats, he is in the future in space, he is a judge. He is now adding jaeger pilot to the mix as he will join the cast of Pacific Rim:Uprising with John Boyega. The X-Men franchise will be busy this year not only with Logan but the announcement of X-men:Supernova which seems to be a film about the phoenix saga. Also Deadpool 2 will be a spring board for X-Force. Deadpool will also see the return of many fan favorites Colossus, Negasonic Teenage Warhead and the taxi driver Dopinder.
