The Impossible Life podcast is an absolute gem that I stumbled upon a few weeks ago, and I couldn't be more grateful. From the moment I listened to my first episode, I was blown away by the incredible practical information that I could immediately apply to improve my life. Since then, I have gone on a binge-listening spree, soaking up all the relaxed atmosphere, humor, and powerful content that this podcast offers. It has become a staple in my daily routine, and I eagerly look forward to each new episode. The hosts strike the perfect balance between entertainment and thought-provoking discussions that challenge me to reexamine aspects of my life that I often take for granted.
One of the best aspects of The Impossible Life podcast is its ability to make me think deeply about various topics. Each week, it tackles subjects that are often overlooked or rarely examined in our everyday lives. Whether it's exploring growth mindset, examining our beliefs about ourselves, or providing strategies for overcoming challenges as leaders, this podcast consistently delivers valuable insights and practical advice. Moreover, the hosts inject humor into their conversations effortlessly, creating an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere that keeps me engaged throughout each episode.
While it's challenging to find any faults with this exceptional podcast, if there was one minor downside worth mentioning, it would be the occasional lack of diverse perspectives. Although the hosts do a fantastic job of providing valuable insights from their own experiences and knowledge base, it would be interesting to hear from a wider range of guests with different backgrounds and expertise. Nevertheless, this does not detract significantly from the overall quality of the show.
In conclusion, The Impossible Life podcast is a game-changer for anyone seeking personal growth and improvement in their lives. With its wealth of content catered specifically towards leaders facing daily challenges, this podcast is a treasure trove of inspiration and guidance. Both hosts exude passion and authenticity in their delivery while effectively breaking down complex problems into practical tactics that anyone can implement. Whether you're a young adult like me or someone seeking to enhance their mindset, this podcast offers a wealth of valuable insights that will leave you thinking long after each episode ends.
You were made for purpose. You were designed for greatness. But not everyone fulfills their destiny—and it's not because God fails. It's because we do. Inspired by biblical examples, elite military discipline, and real-life failures, this episode is your guide to avoiding the spiritual traps that sabotage your future.

In this fire-breathing, practical episode of The Impossible Life, Garrett and Nick bring sharp tools and deep truths to expose the root of complacency—and how to kill it before it kills your purpose. Nick opens by breaking down how “Today Matters” isn't just a nice phrase—it's a lifestyle. He shares how a single conversation about the time we spend in traffic (8,600+ hours in a lifetime!) changed his entire view on daily decisions. Garrett brings the intensity as always, sharing how his life-and-death experiences taught him to obey the whole command, not just the parts that feel convenient. In this raw and powerful follow-up to his first appearance, Cody Bobay returns to The Impossible Life podcast to go deeper than ever before. Cody opens up about walking through one of the darkest seasons of his life—7.5 months of intense depression—all while staying faithful to God's call. He explains how this experience wasn't rooted in sin, emptiness, or a lack of faith, but instead was a refining fire that God used to break and rebuild him for greater purpose. Adversity isn't optional—your response is. In this episode of The Impossible Life, Garrett and Nick tackle one of the most pivotal mindset shifts every person of faith must confront: Will you face adversity as a warrior or wallow in self-pity? Drawing from biblical truth, real-life struggle, and personal transformation, this conversation pulls no punches. Garrett opens up about his own internal war—the part of him that wants to go to battle, and how God uses war as fire to reveal, refine, and prepare us. You'll explore the two paths every person faces in adversity:
In this episode, we finally take on a subject we've referenced in countless episodes but never explored in full: the heart—not the organ, but the spiritual and emotional center that defines your life, your choices, and your walk with God.We lay out why the heart is one of the most mentioned concepts in the Bible (830+ times)—yet never once referring to the physical organ. From Proverbs 4:23 to Matthew 22:37, we show how Scripture points again and again to the heart as the center of our desires, morality, sin, and spiritual transformation. Garrett shares wisdom from mentors and Scripture alike, including a key quote: "If you work out your heart issues with God, all the other stuff takes care of itself."You'll hear how:The heart is not just a sin container—it's your desire center, where business with God truly happens.God doesn't want your perfection—He wants your heart. And He promises to give you a new one (Ezekiel 36:26).Learning to align your heart and mind leads to right actions, clarity of purpose, and spiritual maturity. The heart must be constantly surrendered, examined, and renewed—not managed by willpower but by walking with the Holy Spirit. You must trade certainty for surrender to fully experience God's best for your life.We also introduce a framework Garrett calls the Heart Management System—a cycle of repentance, understanding, and action—that helps believers grow in faith and purpose without falling into the trap of performance-based religion.Whether you're wrestling with desires, confused by what your heart wants, or trying to discern God's will, this is a must-listen episode. It's raw, real, and full of practical insight to help you start doing the real “heart work” that leads to life transformation.

Warning: This episode contains mature themes and is not suitable for young ears.In today's powerful & raw episode, we're joined by Josh Broome, a man whose life journey is nothing short of miraculous. From a childhood marked by fatherlessness and a desperate search for identity, to the dark spiral of the porn industry, to a radical transformation through the grace of Jesus Christ—Josh's story will leave you speechless, inspired, & filled with hope.Josh was born to a teenage mother and grew up without a consistent father figure, always feeling like he needed to prove his worth. After moving to LA to pursue acting, he was pulled into the porn industry after a single video destroyed his mainstream career. Over time, he starred in over 1,000 adult films, made over $1 million, and even won an award for Performer of the Year. Yet despite his “success,” he battled crippling depression, identity loss, and suicidal thoughts. In 2013, at his lowest moment, a simple conversation altered the course of his life. Josh walked away from porn, returned home, became a Christian, and slowly began rebuilding. In 2022, he graduated from Liberty University, and today he is the Executive Director of Walkworthy with the AACC, a husband of 9 years, a father of 4 boys, and a leading voice against pornography and for men's identity in Christ. In this episode, we don't dive deep into the explicit details of the porn industry—we focus on something far more important: what led him there and how grace brought him out. We explore the loss and recovery of identity, the restoration process through Jesus, and the truth about how pornography damages both those in it and those who consume it.

In this episode, Nick and Garrett discuss the essential qualities needed to maximize personal growth and achieve one's God-given purpose. Inspired by a listener's question, they draw parallels between physical training and life development, emphasizing that mastering the basics is crucial before pursuing greatness. We highlight five key qualities that require no talent but are fundamental for success: a desire to grow, a willingness to learn, patience, hope, and having a relationship with Christ. We use the analogy of SEAL training to illustrate the importance of mastering these foundational elements, which they compare to the "basics" that soldiers must possess before advanced training. We emphasize that cultivating these qualities will not only enhance the listener's experience with the podcast but also significantly improve their approach to life. We also give the how to's to implement this and the steps you MUST take to fulfill your purpose and truly live an Impossible Life.If there was an episode that we'd want everyone to listen to before they dive deep on the podcast, this would be it.Click here to leave us a review on Spotify.Click here to leave us a review on Apple podcasts.Support The Impossible Life & Get Additional Insider Content by clicking here.GET IN TOUCHAdvertise on the podcast by clicking here. In part 2, we get into specific functions of a Godly man with the focus being seed sowing and weight bearing. As a man, you're made to work and carry weight according to God's design. This is in sharp contrast to a society where retiring early is "living the dream". We go into the specific beliefs needed for this, the rewards, what you must do, and the price of not bearing weight. We also look at the function of seed sowing for men. Far more than sowing a physical seed for reproduction or farming, this is an understanding of what it looks like to live transformationally. We cover what it is, how to use discernment and wisdom to sow great seed and the importance of alignments among many other things.Click here to leave us a review on Spotify.Click here to leave us a review on Apple podcasts.Support The Impossible Life & Get Additional Insider Content by clicking here.GET IN TOUCHAdvertise on the podcast by clicking here. The vision of the Impossible Life is to change the perception of what it means to be a Godly man. God created men in his image with a mandate to do the work he's been given and bring about God's plans on the earth. This requires strength, tenacity, and a deep relationship with God. However this is not what we see among Christian men today. In this episode, we dive deep into the vision of the Impossible Life and pain our picture of the possible of a Godly man as we read it in the Bible. We give the lay of the land and discuss the need for men to rise up and fulfill their God given mandate. We will then get into the 3 roles that Godly men are uniquely designed to play. In this first of a 3 part series, we lay the foundation for understanding God's intent and design in man, the requirement of being submitted to God, and the understanding of maturity, purpose, and process.Click here to leave us a review on Spotify.Click here to leave us a review on Apple podcasts.Support The Impossible Life & Get Additional Insider Content by clicking here.GET IN TOUCHAdvertise on the podcast by clicking here. In society, we have a glamorized view of winning. We celebrate winners and we demand that they keep on winning. But that is not what life is actually like. In life, we have a lot more race than finish line and learning to win ugly is critical. Life's race is more a test of endurance rather than a sprint. In this episode, we tear down the traditional view of winning, show you how to navigate the tension between the ideal and the real, and address the twisted logic of self care. We give 3 keys to victory to REALLY win big in life in spirit, soul, and body. Make no mistake that you have trouble and difficulty coming for you no matter what you endeavor to do. Rather than this being a cynical view, it is a call to prepare yourself for the battles ahead so you will not be found wanting when the battle shows up at your door. What that will look like for each person is different, but this is an episode to help you on that journey. So often in life, we underestimate the cost, difficulty, and time that it will take to achieve a desired goal. This causes so many people to quit on their goal simply because they weren't prepared for the battles and tests that were waiting for them. In this episode, we go into the 3 tests every person will face in their life. We give the lessons that you will learn as well as equipping you with the mindset and belief needed to pass those tests. Tests will always be waiting, being prepared for them is half the battle. If you're in DFW and need holistic skin treatments, go see our friend Rosa at the Skin Slayer in Frisco. In a culture obsessed with achievement, it's tempting to look at the tangibles when we tell the stories of success. So often it is the intangibles that drive people forward to greatness. One of these intangibles is being all in.All in is more than just trying hard or not having a plan B. All in is the mindset and qualities that make you inevitable. In all journeys, you will encounter resistance, opportunities to quit, and good reasons why it won't work out. And yet still you continue. The thought process of the inevitable was best summed up by Abraham Lincoln when he said "I will prepare and my time will come."In this episode, we give you the mindset required as well as the 3 key traits in becoming inevitable. This is an episode to strengthen your endurance and belief and drive you forward to become 100% of who God made you to be. That is the true greatness we are talking about when we talk about becoming inevitable.
