It's News with Nick! CDP funding rescinded, Gizzard exits Spotify, a Nicks & Buckingham reissue, and Spinal Tap II.Song: Tom Lehrer - “The Elements Song”Greg offers a tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne. It's impossible to imagine what music would be like without Ozzy. His influence is nearly immeasurable and he will be missed.Songs:Black Sabbath - “The Wizard”Black Sabbath - “Tomorrow's Dream”Black Sabbath - “Looking for Today”Jay and his family are visiting Luray Caverns and his connection is a little spotty this week. Jay recently experienced the Great Stalacpipe Organ. Invented in 1954, it is the world's largest musical instrument, covering 3.5 acres.Song: The Band - “We Can Talk”
El alcalaíno viene acompañado por Joaquín García (contrabajista) para interpretar Tell me Who I´m; Hole in your hands; “You are not alone, incluidas en su nuevo disco “Reasons to Believe”. Un álbum grabado en Lallana estudios por Pablo Cano y con el respaldo ejecutivo de José Valero. Además ha contado a los coros con la participación de la artista castellana Cardelina en temas como Maybe you don´t remember. Una de las ocho razones para creer en el talento de este cantante de las emociones.Escuchar audio

Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! The penultimate episode of Season 7! This is the calm before the storm as the group has to figure out a way back into the West. The boat is just about to arrive at the cliffs, but getting up top will not be easy. While Gizzard tries to solve for X, the rest of the group is getting chatty with Smiling Tom. A little bit of backstory before the end? Hell this isn't Tom's real voice! After some sympathy for the devil, the group splits up and sets out to figure out a way into the West. Where did Smiling Tom come from? What's his real accent? What is Gizzard's airspeed velocity when attached to a cannonball? Is it worth it to build a Subway next to another Subway? Tune in and find out! Thank you to the Tales To Terrify podcast for the intro! You can listen to Dennis read a scary story over on all your podcatchers or over on www.talestoterrify.com! Is there a paper cup big enough to contain this whole show with Jackie Johnson, Lizzy Cooperman and Jeff Fox who is filling in for Tony Thaxton? Lizzy had a mishap at the gas station but it may have given her a million dollar idea. Jackie did cardio to prepare the Blink 182 concert but the experience has caused a sea change! We're learning about bands that are somewhere on the prog-jam spectrum and I need to find out what exactly Jackie and Lizzy mean about being conditioned to wear a certain kind of underwear. Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! The group continues to fight on a train! Unfortunately for the DM, apparently every movie and video has lied about the volatility of gunpowder. Shooting a brick of it, apparently will not cause it to go off, and in turn set off two train cars filled with it, killing the entire party with less than ten episodes in the season. How disappointing. The group has to deal with the caboostern thugs and the engineward thugs before fully taking over the train. To make matters worse, the train keeps getting closer to the city of Winchester. If the train stops there, they are most certainly dead. Will they manage to rob the train and not get caught? Will all of them survive? Will they kill our special guest again? What is Gizzard's obsession with death? Tune in and find out! Dennis narrated a recent episode of the Tales to Terrify podcast! It's episode 596! Check it out, give them a follow, a great review and check out their patreon! We now have a PO Box! Wanna send us something? Welcome to Botched: A D&D Podcast! As it turns out, Skrothor didn't murder THIS particular set of people. It seems someone really wants to set the group up to take a fall. On top of that, this particular perpetrator can shapeshift into other people quickly! Gizzard was in hot pursuit, but as he soon found out, he's come face to face with himself. Now the two are running off together, but probably not to live happily ever after. Could it be that this shapeshifter is the same person who was lurking about in the rattlesnake hydra cave? Why are they causing trouble? Will the group catch them? What will they get up to next? What the hell is a douche moosh? Tune in and find out! We now have a PO Box! Wanna send us something? We're in the last days of 2022 AD and as such it's time for us to talk about our favourite songs of the year! It's been yet another amazing year for music and each of us could easily have submitted a top 30 on our own rather than keeping it to 10 each, but that would have taken even longer for Colin to edit so thankfully we kept it to 10...We've each chosen our 10 favourite songs of the year and sent them over to Colin's wife Helen, who put the playlists together and distributed them so we were each given a playlist of the 20 songs from the other two hosts, along with our own 10. We then ranked the playlists in order of preference and sent them back to Helen, who totalled up the points and worked out the order. She also joined us on the episode to read out the countdown, which we found out as we recorded so all reactions are genuine. Now, admittedly, in parts we're a little bit brutal to some of the songs in the list as we're three separate people with differing music tastes, but please remember that to be in this episode at all the songs have to have been in one of our top 10's of that year. Bands featured in this episode include (In alphabetical order, no spoilers here!) - Arctic Monkeys, The Asteroid No. 4, Astrel K, Author & Punisher, Andrew Bird Ft. Phoebe Bridgers, Rachel Chinouriri, CLT DRP, Crippled Black Phoenix, Cult Of Luna, Dystopian Future Movies, Enablers, Natalie Evans, Ex-Vöid, FES, Ghost, Grave Lines, Just Mustard, Kathryn Joseph, Melt Yourself Down, Metric, Nordic Giants Ft. We had the opportunity to sit down with Seancarlo Ohlin of Fuzz Coffee Roaster (among many other things) to discuss their special bootlegger pressing of KGLW's psychedelic surf-rock album, Teenage Gizzard. Fuzz Coffee has paired the album alongside 3 incredible coffees as the fifth installment of their Artist Series. Per usual, we launched of on many tasty tangents, the likes of exploding coffee cans, 8-bit music, and the process of pressing vinyl. This was a fun one! So pour yourself a cup of coffee and "Sip 'N' Listen" with us. Show Notes

Hello Everyone! I'm Ani Avedissian. Welcome to Metaphysical Martini. Three parts spirit. One part rational mind. Add two drops of optimism. Give it all good, hard shake and pour. Dress it with the olives of grace and empathy. Sit back, sip slowly and contemplate the wonder of cosmic co-creation. Join me, Ani Avedissian, to find out what's true...what's woo...and what gets flushed down the loo in today's poorly educated, highly opinionated, dysfunctional little world. Our goal is to "Let the Spirit Inhabit the Human" but be warned - this show is politically incorrect because we do not wish to erode our intellect. If you are easily offended, this show is not for you. If, on the other hand, you are a sovereign soul with a sense of humor and capacity for objectivity, then welcome aboard! ******************** ABOUT METAPHYSICAL MARTINI "Metaphysical Martini” with Ani Avedissian, the Suburban Shaman.
