On our very first episode we come out swinging and walk head-first into a nostalgia trap by discussing "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (1990) as a lens for viewing the 1990s and how as kids we were inundated with images related to crime, violence, and the War on Drugs . Later, we examine one of pop-culture's most deranged creations: The anti-drug PSA "Cartoon All Stars To The Rescue".
Just (another) a good ‘ole Jersey boy, Mike comes out of his house and hits the park to talk to us about raising kids as a single dad, and how they hate being dragged into his act, growing up “Jersey” and of course we busted some serious balls. In this week's remote Utd Podcast we've dialled up United First Teamers Scott McTominay and Jesse Lingard and challenged them to build an ultimate Manchester United Academy XI.Paul Pogba, Sir Bobby Charlton, David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, George Best, Marcus Rashford - just some of the names Scott and Jesse had to squeeze into one team sheet. There were some big decisions to be made and probably some awkward phonecalls to follow. The lads also opened up on what it was like coming through the ranks at Man Utd and how strong you have to be to succeed. The Utd Podcast team also read out your e-mails, so thank you to everyone who gets in touch. If you'd like to write to the only official Manchester United Podcast then e-mail utdpodcast@manutd.co.ukWe'd also love it if you could leave us a rating and review wherever you listen to your podcasts. It's come to this. Sports talk is nothing but bad ideas and bad lists. So why should we be anything different. We don't, but we do make it funner. Plus we give huge praise to Stephon Marbury. How awesome is that dude! And Chris regales us with his experiences at the tracks. Virtually of course. Stay and home and wash your hands kids!
It's Episode One Hundred and Three of the podcast all about life in football's National League, brought to you by two Torquay United fans - comedian Charlie Baker and talkSPORT's John Cadigan. The South Carolina Democratic debate and primary hit the country at the same time as the coronavirus, and similarly, panic and fear have taken hold of people. Michele got her Tarot cards read at a cocktail festival, and Kiara was in Charleston for the big event. Black History Month ended, Women’s History Month started, Rep. Clyburn resuscitated an entire campaign, and a primer on Super Tuesday make up the rest of the episode. The Have A Seat Award winner will literally make you sick, and Lent has inspired the hosts to make tough choices.

Meet the Budnik/Scarupa Family. The Dad, Bryan, tells you where the idea for this podcast came from and how he first came to hear of this little show called The Simpsons way back in 1990. The Mom, Cori, tells you about her love of nonsense and one ups Bryan as her interest goes all the way back to the Tracy Ulman Shorts. The Son, Brenden (16 years old), or the "Crazy One" as he refers to himself, tells us how his love of The Simpsons goes back to The Simpsons Video Game on the PS2. The Daughter, Cailin (12 years old), tells us that she is "kinda all over the place" and that she has been watching the show for as long as she can remember. Listen as they set the tone and the structure for the podcast going forward. We learn more about this family unit and they discuss their favorite characters. Hear how they enthusiastically start this path towards viewing and analyzing The Simpson's episodes, starting with episode 1. There are over 700 episodes to look at so they hope to be at this for a while! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
The final is set. USA and Netherlands shall do battle on Sunday for the World Cup. While England confront Sweden on Saturday for the glory of the bronze. I'm gonna miss this but all things must end. Also in local news MNUFC barrel into 4th place, and MPLS City SC are back on top of the table.
After a month-long hiatus, Alicia de Artola of Reign of Troy joins Kenneth to discuss the reasonable fear that USC is going to very soon end another streak: that of never playing an FCS school.
So it's come to this... 34 episodes in the books and finally we have one week where we can't make an episode work out. Matt's fiddling his bass and Randy is just twiddling his thumbs thinking what to do in the meantime when suddenly he came up with an idea that is equally great and awful at the same time! A clip show. Yeah yeah, clip shows are not the most exciting things on the planet, but sometimes they are necessary in order to pass the time. But since we haven't been around for a year yet and we're gaining new listeners all of the time, I thought it would be a good idea to kind of take a look back on some of our favorite moments that we've covered in the show. The episode features these highlights: - Black from Berlin 2010 - Porch from Atlanta 1994 - Who You Are from Moline 2014 - Breath from MSG 1998 - Do The Evolution from MSG 2003 So while a clip show might not be exactly what you want, it's exactly what we have. Though if you end up listening to the entire hour and 15 minutes of this (it's only about 2:30 shorter than State College) you'll get treated with a preview of some episodes that are on the docket for the next couple of months. Thanks for getting through the week without us, we'll be back next week with Hartford 2010.
We hit the headlines hard and heavy this week. We’re talking about Lio Rush, The Revival, Jon Moxley and so much more! We also look back at the week in wrestling results and look ahead at what’s coming this week! Find us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube!

We typically spend somewhere over 3 hours recording episodes of the show. As you can see, this is then edited down into something usually under 2 hours in length. We cut a lot of good stuff for the sake of time or purely because we're going off on too much of a tangent, so in this episode, please enjoy a whole load of all-new material that was cut from some of our classic episodes. This episode contains previously-unheard outtakes from: "It's a Wonderful Life" "M. Night Shyamalan season: Unbreakable" "M. Night Shyamalan season: The Happening" and "Fifty Shades of Grey"

Will Smith leads an all-star cast as a man who believes that the country is headed towards a catastrophic event and spreads his conspiracy theories through a streaming TV show from undisclosed locations. Well, the day has come. It's time to talk about the Simpsons first Clip Show. Thankfully, there is at least a small nugget of original content within this episode so we talk about it along with the nature of clip shows in general. Once that is done, we try to lighten the mood by playing our first edition of 'Clip Show Quiz Show.' We take the clips in this episode and come up with trivia questions relating to them in an attempt to stump each other. After that we talk about one of the more interesting Simpsons Fan Theories that stems from the events in this episode. Resolving Disputes Respectfully - Collaborative Practice in IL
[PLEASE NOTE there is a slight problem with the recording. See below.] In the 15 plus years since it was introduced by its creator Stu Webb, Collaborative Practice has been successfully applied to divorces throughout the US and many other countries. More recently it is being used to help reach constructive resolutions in Business disputes, Employment matters, Medical Errors, and LGBT relations. For over 5 years Sherrie Abney has been training professionals to use CP in these and other 'civil' matters. These two pioneers will be joining us to talk about the basics of CP and the benefits it offers to those seeking to create a lasting resolution rather than just settle a dispute.Information about Sherrie's upcoming training in Illinois is available here: http://www.slideshare.net/carlMichaelrossi/flyer-abney Registration is at http://regonline.com/cppil [PLEASE NOTE Unfortunately there is s section of serious static about 13 minutes in.
