The Hawkeyes and the Fighting Illini will tangle on the basketball court twice this weekend. With that in mind we had to bring on our good friend Kedric Prince on the podcast this week to talk about it. As usual, when we have Kedric on with us, the show goes off the rails early and often in the 30 minutes that went on the podcast. We start with the men's side of the equation, which takes place on Saturday. We argue about the Illini fans complaining about officiating in the Big Ten after losses and what that defeat at Penn State means for the game on Saturday and if Iowa is in trouble because of it. We also discuss why we expect that Saturday's game will be high scoring because both teams struggle on defense. Then things get controversial with Kedric discussing what he likes and doesn't like about Caitlin Clark's game and why the Fighting Illini women's team has struggled this season and what to expect on Sunday.
Doc Walker welcomes former Washington Redskins defensive lineman, Kedric Golston, to delve into Golston's experience at the NFL Combine. They explore what fans should anticipate from the Combine, particularly regarding prospects of interest to the Commanders.

Hour 1 with Rick "Doc" Walker: Former Redskins DT Kedric Golston joins the show to give his take on the Commanders hiring of Adam Peters and the retirement of Nick Saban. Then Detroit Lions reporter Dan Miller joins the show to talk to Doc about this weekend's playoff matchups in the NFL and to shed some light on Ben Johnson as potentially the next head coach of the Commanders.

A fun new podcast with one of our favorite guests joining us. This week our good friend and Illini writer Kedric Prince joins us as we preview the game on Saturday between the Fighting Illini and the Hawkeyes. But, before we break down the game, we discuss the breaking news today in Iowa City that Cooper DeJean is done for the season after a lower leg injury. What is the impact of the injury on the Hawkeye and who might step in at cornerback and punt returner? Then we dive into the match-up on Saturday and also discuss some reflections on Iowa's win last week against Rutgers. We dive into the Illini team on both sides of the ball and get some perspective on who might be the starting quarterback this weekend? Then we talk about the situation at Michigan and we also discuss the start of the college basketball season and big games in the Big Ten. What did we think of Iowa's loss at Creighton? What did Kedric think of the Illini losing to Marquette? What about the Big Ten this year? We then wrap up by picking five games this week aroud the country, including the Illinois vs. Iowa game.
Former Washington defensive lineman, Kedric Golston, joins the show on the heels of the Commanders trading away Chase Young and Montez Sweat to the San Francisco 49ers and the Chicago Bears, respectively. Ked shares his initial thoughts on the trade, why he thinks the four first round defensive linemen experiment didn't work and more.
