Also insgesamt 40 - pro Spieler oder Spielerin natürlich. Was suchen wir? Ich sag es dir! Es ist: das Kartenspiel Ligretto.

Best-Selling Author & Distinguished Carter G. Woodson book award presented to exemplary books written for children and young people each year at the NCSS Annual Conference. My Show looks to the final day of Jubilee Remembrances 60th Anniversary 2025 in the South this Week. I consider it a Privilege to cover the True Foot Soldiers who were physically THERE during the Events that Changed History in American Civil Rights to All.My Guest is author Robert H. Mayer author of the book "In the Name of Emmett Till"The Movie "Till" premiered in the Fall 2022. It was a Box-Office Hit!Emmett Till Antilynching Act is a United States landmark federal law which makes lynching a federal hate crime and signed into law on March 29, 2022, by President Joe Biden. The bill was named after 14-year-old Emmett Till, who was lynched in Mississippi in 1955, sparking national and international outrage.Children played a significant role in Birmingham's crucial civil rights struggle, and this stirring history of the movement, with many photos, news reports, and quotes from all sides, emphasizes the connections between the young people's power and that of the big leaders. Martin Luther King called Birmingham the most segregated city in America, and his Letter from Birmingham Jail is quoted at length. But when the adults' protest lost momentum, the leaders' decision to call on young people galvanized the movement--Hazel RochmanRobert H. Mayer is the award-winning author of When the Children Marched: The Birmingham Civil Rights Movement and the editor of The Civil Rights Act of 1964. As a teacher, Mayer's passion continues to be making history relevant and accessible to young people. His time spent in Jackson, Canton, and McComb, Mississippi, as well as meeting scholars and activists integral to the civil rights movement, fueled the desire to write In the Name of Emmett Till. He lives in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with his wife Jan, where he writes, teaches, and tutors youth in a local middle school. The 1955 murder of Emmett Till in Mississippi is widely remembered as one of the most horrible lynching's in American history. African American children old enough that year to be aware personally felt the terror of Till's murder. These children, however, would rise up against the culture that made Till's death possible. Over the next decade, from the violent Woolworth's lunch-counter sit-ins in Jackson to the school walkouts of McComb, the young people of Mississippi picketed, boycotted, organized, spoke out, and marched, determined to reveal the vulnerability of black bodies and the ugly nature of the world they lived in. These children changed that world.© 2025 Building Abundant Success!!2025 All Rights ReservedJoin Me on ~ iHeart Media @ https://tinyurl.com/iHeartBASSpot Me on Spotify: https://tinyurl.com/yxuy23baAmazon Music ~ https://tinyurl.com/AmzBASAudacy:  https://tinyurl.com/BASAud

In June 1944, a village in France was destroyed in just one day. German soldiers entered Oradour-sur-Glane and gathered the villagers together. They separated the men from the women and children and took groups to different locations of the village. On that day, 642 were killed. Robert Hébras was just a teenager at the time.Robert's granddaughter, Agathe Hébras tells Gill Kearsley his powerful story, from the arrival of the soldiers to his escape and then his realisation that he was one of the few survivors of the massacre. A warning, this programme contains descriptions of death.Eye-witness accounts brought to life by archive. Witness History is for those fascinated by the past. We take you to the events that have shaped our world through the eyes of the people who were there. For nine minutes every day, we take you back in time and all over the world, to examine wars, coups, scientific discoveries, cultural moments and much more. Recent episodes explore everything from football in Brazil, the history of the ‘Indian Titanic' and the invention of air fryers, to Public Enemy's Fight The Power, subway art and the political crisis in Georgia. We look at the lives of some of the most famous leaders, artists, scientists and personalities in history, including: visionary architect Antoni Gaudi and the design of the Sagrada Familia; Michael Jordan and his bespoke Nike trainers; Princess Diana at the Taj Mahal; and Görel Hanser, manager of legendary Swedish pop band Abba on the influence they've had on the music industry. You can learn all about fascinating and surprising stories, such as the time an Iraqi journalist hurled his shoes at the President of the United States in protest of America's occupation of Iraq; the creation of the Hollywood commercial that changed advertising forever; and the ascent of the first Aboriginal MP.(Photo: Robert Hebras at age 86, walks through the ruins of Oradour-sur-Glane. "Accountability is not a bad word." "You own your own journey." "You have a choice to do it or not." In this episode of the Young Dad Podcast, host Jey Young speaks with Robert J. Hunt, known as the accountability guy. They explore the concept of accountability, its importance in personal and professional life, and how it can lead to achieving one's goals. Robert shares his journey of overcoming obstacles through accountability, emphasizing the need for proactive approaches in parenting and personal growth. The conversation highlights the power of choice, the role of parents in teaching accountability, and practical steps to embrace accountability in daily life. Takeaways Accountability is a powerful tool for personal growth. Owning your journey is essential for success. Every choice you make has consequences. Failure is a necessary part of learning. Being proactive is better than being reactive. Parents play a crucial role in teaching accountability. You can only create an environment for accountability, not force it. Awareness of victim mentality is the first step to accountability. Don't wait for the right moment; act now. Intentionality in parenting leads to better outcomes. ALS, a nervous system disease, ruled the headlines in the summer of 2014 thanks to the viral Ice Bucket Challenge. How has our knowledge of the disorder evolved a decade later? Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as ‘Lou Gehrig's disease' (named after the iconic baseball player), is a progressive neurological disorder which breaks down a person's motor neurons. The main symptoms are muscle weakness and impaired physical function — mild, at first, but in the latter stages of the disease's progression, essential processes like breathing begin to fail. Most individuals face a life expectancy of two to five years. A small percentage live five to ten years. And an even tinier group survive beyond a decade. Most famously, renowned physicist Stephen Hawking survived more than 50 years past his diagnosis, in part due to the intensive care he was able to afford. In this episode of the ‘Your Brain On...' podcast, we discuss: • What ALS is, and how it affects the brain and the body • The onset and progression of ALS, from the earliest symptoms to the end-stage impacts • How ALS patients are diagnosed, treated, and cared for • Likely causes of ALS, including genetic predispositions and potential environmental risk factors • How new technologies are rapidly accelerating our understanding of ALS, especially in genetics Joining us for this installment of the show are two world-class experts on the disease: • Professor Ammar Al-Chalabi PhD, Professor of Neurology and Complex Disease Genetics at the Maurice Wohl Clinical Neuroscience Institute at King's College. • Merit Cudkowicz, Director of the Sean M. Healey & AMG Center for ALS at Massachusetts General Hospital. ‘Your Brain On' is hosted by neurologists, scientists and public health advocates Ayesha and Dean Sherzai. ‘Your Brain On...
