Send us Fan MailThere has been a lot of talk lately that talk shows, as we know them, are too expensive to last. The big band, the studio audience, the nightly monologue -- they all cost money.Well, Tom Green thinks he has the answer. He's growing the talk show of the future now on 150 acres in Ontario on The Tom Green Farm (now streaming on Crave). What about the guests you ask? Green has managed to persuade a whole barnload of friends to come up and visit. They include Dan Aykroyd, Amber Marshall, Jason Blaine, Paul Bissonnette, Jay Baruchel, Michael Cera, DeadMau5, Jon Dore, Erica Ehm, Tony Hawk, Kurt Vile, Chantal Kreviazuk, The Tragically Hip's Paul Langlois, Steven Page, Priyanka, Jessie Reyez, Kevin Staab, George Stroumboulopoulos, and more. Plus there is his mule (16 and 1/2 hands high!), the chickens, his mom Mary Jane (now a co-producer) and an incredible vert ramp he had built for Tony Hawk on a farm field. This is Green acres, Canadian farm style. See it on Crave.

Episode 145 — The Jealous Man Cast — brings Jay R into the Jungle for an episode full of tension, jokes, side-eyes, and uncomfortable honesty. From the second the conversation starts, the energy feels competitive in the funniest way possible, as the crew dives into jealousy, attraction, insecurity, and the tiny things people do in relationships that somehow turn into full-blown arguments. It's one of those episodes where everybody laughs… but everybody also accidentally tells on themselves. The music segment opens on a smoother note. Jessie Reyez's “NYFF” sets the tone with raw emotion and vulnerability, leading into conversation about toxic attachment, heartbreak, and why pain still creates some of the best music. 6LACK and 2 Chainz connect on “Sunday Again,” blending introspection with flexes in a way that sparks discussion about balance — emotional depth versus surface-level success. Tyla and Zara Larsson's “She Did It” keeps the energy confident and playful, while Teddy Swims' “Mr. Know It All” closes the segment with soul, reflection, and a reminder that some artists hit hardest when they stop trying to sound perfect. Then the Jungle pivots into the chaos of the culture. Ice Spice allegedly getting beat up at McDonald's becomes less about gossip and more about celebrity vulnerability in public spaces — how fame changes the way people approach you, test you, or even try to embarrass you. The conversation then turns serious as David being officially charged gets discussed, leading into debate about public opinion, accountability, and how quickly narratives form online before all the facts settle. But the real heart of Episode 145 is the relationship segment, where the title The Jealous Man Cast starts making a little too much sense. The squad debates whether it's more toxic for couples to never argue and silently bottle everything up, or to constantly fight over every little thing. From there, the conversation somehow gets hilariously serious over streaming accounts — should couples merge subscriptions as a symbol of unity, or keep everything separate just in case things go left? Then comes the classic dilemma: would you rather have a partner who's unattractive but completely loyal, or someone incredibly attractive who constantly makes you nervous? And naturally, the room explodes once the question gets asked: if your partner laughs a little too hard at somebody else's joke… is that harmless, or low-level flirting? To close things out, the spotlight turns inward as everyone debates the most important question of the night: between Rahh and Rad… who's actually the more jealous type? Episode 145 is funny, chaotic, self-exposing, and painfully relatable — the kind of episode where everyone acts like they're joking until the truth accidentally slips out. Emma Higgins is a Vancouver-based filmmaker who first cut her teeth making music videos. In 2021, she won a Juno for her work with Jessie Reyez on the track No One's In The Room. Now, she's released her feature directorial debut, Sweetness, which follows a 16-year-old girl who kidnaps her rockstar idol in an attempt to “help” him recover from addiction. Emma drops by the Q studio to talk to guest host Garvia Bailey about the film and why teenage fandom was perfect fodder for a horror movie.
Juno-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez blew up nearly 10 years ago with a song called Figures. With her powerful voice, she eventually achieved worldwide success — something she'd dreamt about since she was a kid — but she soon discovered that the reality of fame wasn't what she expected it to be. On her new album, Paid In Memories, Jessie chronicles how she learned that true happiness doesn't come from money or stardom, but rather the memories we make with loved ones. She sits down with Tom Power to tell us what happens when you achieve your dreams and the view from the top isn't exactly sunshine and rainbows.
Estimated reading time: 6 minutes Folks, I've been in an exreme pain with no relief and decided to let AI take the reigns. While it's a bit heavy handed, it does sum up this volume really well. I'm in need of a much deserved and extended break. I'll be back by the end of January or early February. Top Dance Songs of 2025 Vol. II: The Year Tightens Its Grip on the Dancefloor Volume 2 of Top Dance Songs of 2025 lands with a very different energy than the opening chapter. Where Vol. I introduced the shape of the year, this set confirms it. The middle stretch of 2025 leans deeper into groove, emotion, and vocal-driven hooks that work just as well at sunrise as they do at peak hour. There's also a noticeable shift. Fewer throwaway tracks. More intent. Producers focused on longevity rather than chasing quick viral moments. As a result, Top Dance Songs of 2025 Vol. II feels cohesive, confident, and built for repeat listens. A Strong Opening That Sets the Mood Jonas Blue & Malive kick things off with Edge Of Desire, a smooth builder that balances melody with restraint. It doesn't rush. That tone continues with Calvin Harris and Jessie Reyez on Ocean, where Calvin leans back into emotional songwriting without losing club weight. The Ultimate Spring Break Dance Party Mix 2024! Top Dance Songs 2025: Our Year-End Review Iconic 90s Dance Hits: Ultimate House Classics from 1994-1995 - Vol. 2 90s House Classics 1994 - 1995 Vol. 3: Nostalgia Meets the Dance Floors Old School House Music: 90s Club Anthems from 1994-1995 - Vol. 1 John Summit's presence is immediate. Light Years featuring Inéz opens the door to the melodic side of his catalog this year. It's followed later by Crystallized and Palm Of My Hands, reinforcing how deeply his sound is shaping Top Dance Songs of 2025 across multiple lanes. Chrystal's The Days in the NOTION extended remix brings early-2000s euphoria into a modern frame. It hits that sweet spot between nostalgia and now. Vocal Tracks Doing the Heavy Lifting Vocals matter more in this volume. James Hype's Waterfalls delivers bounce and clarity, while Zerb, Ty Dolla $ign, and Wiz Khalifa's Location gets a darker, more hypnotic edge thanks to the Agents Of Time remix. Calvin Harris returns with Blessings, featuring Clementine Douglas, who quietly becomes one of the defining voices of Top Dance Songs of 2025. She also shines later alongside Sonny Fodera on Tell Me, adding continuity and warmth to the set. David Guetta's triple appearance shows range. Gone Gone Gone (Done Done Done) with Teddy Swims and Tones And I leans pop-forward but stays functional. If (A Better World) with Cedric Gervais taps into classic Guetta tension. Together with Hypaton and Bonnie Tyler surprises with its emotional pull. Underground Energy Meets Mainstage Polish D.O.D's Wrap Yourself Around Me keeps things playful, while Rivo's Last Night in the Korolova remix adds late-night drama. Cloonee's Stephanie (HNTR remix) brings gritty tech-house swagger that resets the room. SIDEPIECE delivers one of the cleanest hooks in the set with Cry For You. It's simple. It works. Chris Lake appears twice and makes both count. Ease My Mind with Abel Balder stays smooth, while Toxic with Ragie Ban brings sharper edges. Mau P's The Less I Know The Better continues his streak of minimal, effective club tools. Max Dean, Luke Dean, and Locky's Can't Decide keeps that momentum rolling. Remakes, Reworks, and Smart Risks Felix Jaehn and SHOUSE's Walk With Me leans into communal energy, while Alok and Alan Fitzpatrick reframe Friday, I'm In Luv with respect rather than gimmicks. Disco Lines and Tinashe's No Broke Boys brings bounce and attitude. Fred Again, Skepta, and PlaqueboyMax's Victory Lap (The Hills Remix Dirty) adds grit that cuts through the polish elsewhere. Dom Dolla's Dreamin featuring Daya is one of the strongest crossover moments in Top Dance Songs of 2025, bridging vocal emotion and club pressure without compromise. Closing With Authority Argy and Meduza's Melodia featuring PollyAnna closes the melodic arc beautifully. Artbat and Vintage Culture follow with She The Last One, locking into a deeper, hypnotic groove. The final stretch feels intentional. Ed Sheeran's Sapphire gets unexpected lift via Charlie Lane. Lady Gaga's Abracadabra in the Kastra remix brings theatrical flair. Delerium and Sarah McLachlan's Silence returns through John Summit's extended lens, proving timeless tracks still matter when handled right. CID and Taylr Renee close the set with Fancy $hit, a confident exclamation point that leaves the floor satisfied, not exhausted. Why Volume 2 Matters Top Dance Songs of 2025 Vol. II isn't louder than Vol. I. It's smarter. More refined. It shows a year settling into its identity. These tracks aren't chasing trends. They're defining them. This is the volume you revisit months later and realize how many of these records stayed in rotation. That's the mark of a strong year. Until the next time...ENJOY! it's back to the rhythm and the next instalment of the monthly Soul Partizan Radio Roadshow podcast. This edition is a carefully curated journey through sound, opening with classic chillout anthems, powerful female vocals, and conscious hip-hop that sets the tone with purpose. Listeners can expect new material from Tall Black Guy, Bao x Venuz Beats, and Jessie Reyez, alongside exclusive insights from London's vibrant music scene. I had the privilege of attending Oliver Night's album launch with Tru Thoughts Records, featuring interviews with Oliver himself, selector and innovator Marcel Vogel, and Sara Garvey (Nightmares on Wax). The show moves through psychedelic soul before crossing continents to explore the rich energy of South American Latin classics and dancefloor staples — a global soundtrack built to move both mind and body. A celebration of independent artistry, community, and sound without borders.

Jessie Reyez is a singer and songwriter originally from Toronto. She's won two of Canada's Juno awards, and she's been nominated for a Grammy. In addition to writing her own music, Jessie's been a songwriter on tracks by Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, Eminem, and many others. You're probably aware that there are songwriters and producers whose names you'll find over and over again in the credits for big hits; Jessie is one of them. But for this episode, I talked to her about her own song "Goliath." And the day that she wrote that song, she happened to be in the studio with a bunch of other songwriters and producers. So I also talked to Jordan and Stefan Johnson, from the production team Monsters & Strangerz, and Jeff Gitelman, AKA Gitty. Between the three of them, their credits also include songs by Selena Gomez, Maroon 5, Alicia Keys, Mac Miller, and again, tons more. When a group like this gets together to write music, they don't always know if they're going to be making a song that's going to get recorded and released by an artist somewhere down the line, or if the song's going to get recorded at all. But in the case of "Goliath," what came out was a song that was very personal to Jessie Reyez. For more info, visit songexploder.net/jessie-reyez.

Jessie Reyez is a Canadian singer-songwriter who's worked with the likes of Eminem, Duo Lipa, Calvin Harris - she's a real musician's musician, but the thing that has always struck me about Jessie was her energy: her music oozes emotion so I was excited to get her in the studio to chat.Jessie chatted to me about those big emotions she feels - how music saved her from the depths of depression age 16 and has continued to be a necessary outlet for her feelings. She opened up about her sobriety, sharing that even though she is nearly two years sober, she still misses alcohol during her lowest moments, but she is clear that life is so much better now. Jessie also bravely spoke about a producer who took advantage of her, without naming names, and why she the felt guilt in the aftermath of it all. This conversation was a powerful reminder of the importance of giving yourself space to feel and process your emotions and how strength often comes from leaning into those lows. You can also follow us on Instagram and Tiktok @greatcompanypodcast and if you've got thoughts, questions and comments, you can email us at greatcompany@jampotproductions.co.uk--Find Jessie's new album Paid in Memories here: https://www.jessiereyez.com/--THE CREDITSExec Producer: Jemima RathboneAssistant Producer: Gurlina HeerVideo: Jake Ji & Ryley KirbySocial Media: Laura CoughlanGreat Company is an original podcast from JamPot Hosted on Acast. Jessie Reyez joins the podcast to celebrate her new album, Paid in Memories and to dive into the complexities of boundaries and self-respect. Together, we unpack what it means to be labeled a "villain" (by both yourself and others) for setting boundaries and standing firm in your self-worth. Jessie shares her personal journey of choosing to stay single rather than settling for less in love, reflecting on the regret of taking too much accountability in her past relationship, and embracing her love language—having her alone time respected. We also talk about her upcoming album, Paid in Memories, which promises to be a raw and powerful exploration of love, loss, and acceptance. Don't miss this candid and inspiring conversation that's all about choosing yourself, even when it's hard because self-respect is never up for negotiation.
