The Duke Blue Devils hammered the Wake Forest Demon Deacons last night to cap an undefeated 17-0 record in Cameron this season. We recap it all on Episode 699. With Jason out, our 6th Man Scott Rich joins Donald to recap everything that happened in this game. Duke had a sluggish start, but it was so much fun to see this team scrap to take the lead and open it up to a 40 point lead late before winning 93-60. Scott and Donald talk though all of the major things that Duke did well, from hustle to defense to Cooper Flagg's NPOY performance. We also get into some of the bad, including a discussion on Caleb Foster not getting into the game. There were some picks to nit, but this team is steadily becoming one that no one wants to mess with in March. We end with love for the Duke Women's Team as they prepare for the ACC Tournament this week in Greensboro. Make sure you're following us! Johni Broome scored a season-high 31 points and added 14 rebounds as No. 1 Auburn defeated Georgia 82-70 on Saturday. For the second straight game, Auburn (25-2, 13-1 SEC) found itself in a tight contest against an unranked opponent before pulling away in the final minutes. Broome took over in the second half, including a run of seven straight points for the Tigers. The double-double was his 17th of the season. Auburn hosts No. 24 Ole Miss on Wednesday.

If you've been living under a rock for the last couple of weeks, you might not be aware that college basketball is absolutely thriving in the mecca of NYC these days. St Johns has reeled off 9 in a row after an impressive W at the Garden against Marquette and are starting down a showdown at UConn Friday night. That - plus everything else you've missed from the midweek hoops - leads the show with Norlander and Hartzell today. Plus Mike DeCourcy from The Sporting News drops by to talk NPOY races, and how Flagg vs Broome stacks up against some of the more recent (last 40 years) notable contests. Weekend preview - where there is disagreement on the quality of Saturday's slate - and some Super Bowl predictions round out the show. Is Kendrick going to go solo for the full halftime show? Both guys agree we're in store for potentially an all-timer for Sunday's musical performance.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

A wise man once said 'how can you know where you're going if you don't know where you're from'. Today's episode - our first college hoops show of the season - is where we're from, and for the next three months (as the season plays out, culminating with the Final Four in San Antonio) is where we're going. So who better to assist with the ride than our in-house hoops insider Matt Norlander from CBS Sports, who joins Hartzell for 80 minutes of (mostly) basketball dialogue. We're coming off a monster weekend of hoops, highlighted by Cooper Flagg dropping 42 and making ACC freshman history in the process, Auburn might be without their best player - and NPOY front-runner (according to Norlander) - for a couple of weeks, plus lots of talk on the mighty SEC which is having a staggering hoops season in terms of quality - and quantity. Don't worry the football shows aren't over yet, but we got plenty to discuss in the inaugural college basketball show of the season, plus the first 'Now Spinning' of the new year for all the music heads!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Purdue C Zach Edey swept all six National Player of the Year awards for College Basketball in 2022-23, become the third straight consensus NPOY (following Kentucky's Oscar Tshiebwe and Iowa's Luka Garza). The Wooden Award odds are out from one of the betting sites and Edey is the odds-on favorite to repeat. The only problem? No one has won the Wooden Award in back-to-back years since Virginia's Ralph Sampson in 1981-82 and 1982-83. So here's the question: Can Edey become the first back-to-back Wooden Award winner in over four decades? Other top players on the list with Edey include Kyle Filipowski (Duke), Hunter Dickinson (Kansas), Armando Bacot (UNC), Max Abmas (Texas), Tyler Kolek (Marquette), Oumar Ballo (Arizona), and Donovan Clingan (UConn). What does Colorado's move mean for the Big 12 and how will it affect the Buffs recruiting and that of the other conference schools? Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…

Locked On Zags - Daily Podcast On Gonzaga Bulldogs Basketball
Hunter Sallis played just 17 minutes combined when Gonzaga faced San Francisco and Santa Clara last week, calling into question Mark Few's resistance to playing anyone other than his starting five. Sallis' defensive presence against Khalil Shabazz and Brandin Podziemski could have helped the Bulldogs down the stretch, and Few's insistence on overplaying his starters has hurt this team in March. The rest of the show is grading listener-submitted hot takes, with discussion about Drew Timme's NPOY candidacy, Dom Harris' future, and Rasir Bolton's role as this team's third (or second) leading scorer.Link to new college basketball national podcast: https://linktr.ee/LockedOncbbDanny Evans GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-coach-danny-evans-his-childrenJeremy Eaton GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/r8yj3-jeremys-cancer-fundhttps://linktr.ee/LockedOnZagsLocked on Zags - Part of the Locked on Podcast Network.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Built BarBuilt Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar.
