Great defense is just fun to watch, so of the seven Centex teams we have left in the playoffs — La Vega, Marlin, Hamilton, Axtell, Bremond, Abbott and Oglesby — who are some of your favorite guys to watch? The Hamilton Bulldogs face the Axtell Longhorns in an enticing Friday-night matchup this week in the region final. These two teams met in the playoffs two years ago with a 35-21 Bulldogs win, and undefeated Hamilton is now having its best season in school history, while Axtell is no slouch with a 12-1 record. So who do you like in the "red dead redemption" matchup? Our local six-man teams are just one game away from Jerryworld, with Abbott and Oglesby both playing for a trip to state. Who do you think is most likely to get there, the Panthers or the Tigers, and could we go two-for-two?Let's give some eulogies to the dearly departed on Thanksgiving week: Gatesville, Live Oak, Aquilla, Jonesboro, Iredell and Valor Prep. Which of those talented third-round teams will you remember most this season? ----- Music: https://purple-planet.com Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

This enjoyable and spontaneous episode tells the ages-long story of how three very different women can be blessed to share the same bond, banter and beliefs. Debra Talley, Mary Anne Oglesby-Sutherly and Sue Duffield understand the meaning of significance and purpose in their mature years, but none of that happens without humor and the joy of not taking themselves seriously! The one commonality that they all have is a desire to make a difference in the dementia world. In a mere three years, Terrence Oglesby has established himself as a successful college basketball broadcaster and analyst. It's taken lots of hustle and networking, but most of all Oglesby's continued upward trajectory is a tribute to his smooth style and his strong command of the game. Oglesby's duties consist of: Analyst for Charlotte Hornets home games; ESPN; FOX; NBA TV; The Field of 68; and CBS Sports Network. Just this past week he was in Milwaukee broadcasting a game Monday night, and by the next afternoon he was driving from Atlanta to Clemson to work his alma mater's game against Eastern Kentucky. The former sharpshooter for Oliver Purnell spent several years living in Clemson, but last fall he moved his family to Greenville so he could be closer to the airport. Oglesby gives his thoughts on the current state of Clemson basketball under Brad Brownell. He's convinced that Brownell is going to lead the Tigers to sustained prominence as Brownell continues to take advantage of the transfer portal and maintaining the relationships with major donors that are necessary to pay for high-end talent in the NIL era.

Right now we have 8 public schools ranked in the statewide polls: Robinson, Hamilton, Mart, Abbott, Jonesboro, Aquilla, Oglesby and Iredell. But which unranked team do you think is likely to go deepest in the playoffs?3. Is there any district out there that's any more wide open than 13-2A D-I — Marlin, Crawford, Rosebud-Lott, Riesel, Bruceville-Eddy and Moody? Who's the favorite there, if anybody?4.
