The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 4: 6:05pm- Pennsylvania U.S. Senate Race: On Thursday, sixteen Pennsylvania counties finished their recounts—resulting in Republican Dave McCormick gaining seven votes! In response, Sen. Bob Casey officially conceded the race. 6:15pm- During a Wednesday Bucks County Commissioners' meeting, Board of Commissioners Chair Diane Ellis-Maseglia apologized for comments she made last week—when she announced her decision to count ineligible ballots in a state-wide recount, ignoring a Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision. However, during her apology she bizarrely defended her actions and bizarrely referenced Roe v. Wade. When residents in attendance reacted with jeers, she began smiling and laughing. During one notable exchange, a Bucks County resident called on Ellis-Maseglia and Robert J. Harvie Jr. to resign—and Scott Presler vowed to support candidates to defeat both board members when they are up for reelection in 2027. 6:20pm- Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau—who is the son of Pierre Trudeau and definitely not the son of former Cuban Dictator Fidel Castro—announced a reduction in migration. 6:30pm- On Thursday, former Congressman Matt Gaetz announced he is withdrawing as Donald Trump's nominee to serve as U.S. Attorney General. According to reports, Gaetz concluded he had no pathway towards confirmation after meeting with Senators earlier in the week and determining that at least four—Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Mitch McConnell, and John Curtis—would not support him. Republicans will hold a 53 to 47 advantage in the Senate, consequently cabinet nominees cannot afford to lose the support of more than four Republicans. 6:40pm- Breaking News: Donald Trump Selects former Attorney General of Florida Pam Bondi to serve as Attorney General of the United States.

UFC fighters, NFL football players, college football players, and celebrities are all doing the Donald Trump fist bump dance. Governor John Fetterman told moderators he will not release his medical records prior to the November 8thelection—claiming he has been “very open” about his health struggles and that his doctor has declared him “fit to serve.”  4:15pm- While appearing on News Nation with Chris Cuomo, neurologist Dr. Huma Sheikh explained there is no guarantee John Fetterman will see improvements in his speech patterns and ability to speak spontaneously since he is already six months removed from the stroke he suffered.  4:20pm- During the debate, Dr. Mehmet Oz was asked whether he would support Lindsey Graham's proposed legislation to federally ban abortion after 15-weeks—Oz responded by stating he does not support any legislation that prevents states from making their own decisions on abortion.  4:35pm- Charles McElwee—Editor of Real Clear Pennsylvania—joins the show to recap Tuesday night's debate between Lt. Governor John Fetterman and Dr. Mehmet Oz. McElwee explains that he has heard from many Democrats who will not vote for Oz or leave the Senate portion of their ballot blank due to Fetterman's poor performance. ProPublica reporter Alec MacGillis was mocked on Twitter for suggesting that a piece of decades-old gossip about Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., was concerning. MacGillis wrote "Yikes: ‘According to a friend, DeSantis would tell dates he liked Thai food, but pronounced it 'thigh.' If they corrected him, Finch wrote, he would find an excuse to leave. 'He didn't want a girlfriend who corrected him'." Ahead of Tuesday evening's Pennsylvania U.S. Senate debate, the Fetterman campaign is desperately trying to manage expectations for their candidate before he faces Mehmet Oz in the only general election debate.

When Philadelphia Inquirer reporter Jonathan Tamari got a tip that Pennsylvania U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey would be leaving politics after his current term, he was surprised. If he didn't run for reelection to the Senate, Toomey was widely expected to run for governor. Without him, Pennsylvania Republicans are scrambling.
