After her July 2020 arrest, Ghislaine Maxwell launched an almost continuous campaign of complaints about the conditions of her confinement at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Through her attorneys, Maxwell argued that she was being treated more harshly than an ordinary pretrial detainee because of Jeffrey Epstein's death in federal custody the year before. She complained that correctional officers repeatedly awakened her during the night with flashlight checks, depriving her of sleep and making it difficult to prepare for trial. Her lawyers objected to constant surveillance, searches of her cell, body scans and strip searches, and claimed she was subjected to invasive treatment even though she had shown no signs of being suicidal. They complained about being monitored while meeting with attorneys, inadequate access to legal materials and computers, difficulties reviewing the enormous volume of discovery, limited exercise, poor food, unsanitary conditions and even problems with sewage and vermin. At various points, Maxwell's attorneys also claimed she had lost significant weight, suffered hair loss, experienced declining health and was forced to endure conditions they described as extraordinarily restrictive for someone who had not yet been convicted. Those complaints became intertwined with Maxwell's repeated attempts to obtain bail, with her attorneys portraying her detention as punitive and prosecutors portraying the extraordinary precautions as reasonable given the circumstances surrounding Epstein's death and Maxwell's substantial flight risk. Maxwell complained that she had effectively been placed under round-the-clock observation because the Bureau of Prisons was determined not to suffer another catastrophe involving an Epstein defendant, and her lawyers repeatedly asked the court to intervene. Judge Alison Nathan did scrutinize some of the allegations and required the government to respond to complaints about Maxwell's treatment, but she repeatedly refused to release her, finding that the measures proposed by the defense did not adequately address the risk that Maxwell could flee. The result was a remarkable pretrial battle in which Maxwell, once accustomed to enormous wealth, private aircraft, luxury homes and extraordinary freedom of movement, spent month after month arguing over mattresses, meals, flashlights, surveillance cameras, strip searches, legal calls and sleep. Whatever the merits of individual complaints about conditions at the MDC, they became a persistent feature of her defense strategy from arrest through trial, as Maxwell portrayed herself as the victim of unusually harsh federal treatment while prosecutors remained focused on the far more consequential allegations that had put her behind bars in the first place.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

Their relationship, however, unraveled spectacularly once Maxwell was arrested in 2020. Borgerson reportedly ended the relationship over a phone call while she was incarcerated, later distancing himself from her legal battles and avoiding the media spotlight. Friends told reporters that Borgerson felt deceived by Maxwell, claiming she had drawn him into a scandal he neither anticipated nor could control. By the time Maxwell was convicted in 2021, Borgerson had largely vanished from public view, having resigned from CargoMetrics and relocated to focus on rebuilding his life. The relationship that once symbolized refuge and reinvention for Maxwell ultimately collapsed under the same weight of deception and disgrace that destroyed her wider social circle.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

A reporter asked Trump if he'd pardon Ghislaine Maxwell now that the Supreme Court killed her last appeal, and he immediately went into his usual “Who? Never heard of her” routine like he was auditioning for Men in Black. It was pure comedy—he acted like Ghislaine was some random lady who wandered into his photos by accident, not someone who used to orbit the same high-society circles as him and Epstein. The man delivered his line so confidently you'd think he really believed it: “I don't know her, but I hear she's doing well.” Yeah, sure, Don—she's “doing well” in prison. Real cozy setup between chow line and lockdown. The guy could be caught holding a selfie stick with her and still swear it's Photoshop and “fake news.”Trump's selective amnesia is practically a stage show at this point. Every time one of his old pals gets indicted, he suddenly turns into a witness protection participant. “Never met them, don't know them, wish them well.” It's become a brand. The funniest part is how he says it with total confidence, like he's daring the world to remember what he's pretending to forget. When asked about a pardon, you could see the wheels spin—“What's in it for me?”—but in true Trump fashion, he skipped the answer and rewrote history instead. Because in his world, he doesn't need to pardon anyone; he just deletes them from existence. Maxwell and her team mounted a broad PR offensive to humanize her and create a sympathetic narrative ahead of her $28.5 million bail proposal. Her court filings included letters from her undisclosed husband and more than a dozen friends and family members describing her as a “wonderful and loving person” and insisting she posed no flight risk. Her husband's letter acknowledged her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein but claimed she “had nothing to do” with the crimes—setting the stage for her bail package by positioning her as a loyal spouse and stable individual awaiting trial. At the same time, the bail submission outlined a lavish support structure: Maxwell's husband offered to co-sign the majority of the bond, friends and family committed additional millions, and she proposed to live under 24-hour house confinement, electronic monitoring, and secure home location while awaiting trial. The presentation was heavily choreographed to demonstrate stability and control over her assets rather than the “extreme flight risk” the prosecution emphasized. The timing of the marketing push immediately before the holiday season and its thorough documentation reflect an obvious strategy to shift public and judicial perception before the court reviewed her release motion.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com
Julie K. Brown has said that Jeffrey Epstein's possible ties to intelligence should not be dismissed as some lunatic fringe theory, but should be investigated with the same seriousness as the rest of his network. Her point has not been that there is a proven public record showing Epstein was formally working for Mossad, the CIA, or any other intelligence service. Her point is that the circumstances around Epstein — his unexplained wealth, his access to presidents, royalty, billionaires, diplomats, academics, and foreign power players, and especially his close relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell — create legitimate questions. Brown specifically pointed to Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine's father, whose own alleged intelligence ties have long been discussed, and said Epstein's connection to that world is “not beyond the realm of possibility.”Brown's broader argument is that Epstein did not operate like a lone predator hiding in the shadows. He operated more like the center of an international trafficking and influence network, surrounded by people who enabled him, protected him, benefited from him, or looked the other way. She has emphasized that law enforcement should be digging into Epstein's financial, social, political, and international relationships instead of treating the case as if it ended with Epstein's death and Ghislaine Maxwell's conviction. In Brown's framing, the intelligence question is part of a larger unresolved mystery: who helped Epstein, why was he protected for so long, what did powerful people know, and whether his access to compromising information made him useful to people or institutions far beyond Palm Beach.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

"Congress and the public deserve a clear answer about whether the Epstein Estate paid a settlement to an accuser who made serious allegations against Donald Trump, and who was interviewed four times by the FBI."On 24 February 2026, NPR reporter Stephen Fowler published an investigative report comparing the public database of Epstein files released by the DOJ on January 30th with the Ghislaine Maxwell trial evidence index (handed to her defense attorneys in 2021 as part of standard discovery procedures). The two documents do not match.According to the evidence index, the FBI conducted four interviews with a woman in 2019. These interviews produced four sets of written summaries, known as 302 reports, which should have all been included in the January 30th document release. Only one was included, in which she claimed she'd been assaulted by Jeffrey Epstein when she was just 13 years old. The other three were the ones in which this woman - known only as Jane Doe 4 - made credible accusations against the sitting President of the United States...This is a continuation of a series we started last year. Ian Maxwell and Mark Epstein have both become loud, persistent critics of the official Epstein-Maxwell process, though from different angles and with obvious family interests at stake. Ian Maxwell has argued that Ghislaine was turned into a convenient stand-in for Epstein after Epstein died before trial, claiming her trial was flawed, that she was scapegoated, and that the government used her conviction to create the appearance of accountability while leaving the broader network untouched. He has defended her refusal to answer congressional questions by saying she had already answered hundreds of questions during a DOJ interview with Todd Blanche, and he has continued pushing the idea that her conviction and sentence should be overturned or reduced.Mark Epstein has attacked the process from the other side, focusing on Jeffrey Epstein's death in federal custody and the government's explanation afterward. He has repeatedly rejected the DOJ inspector general's conclusion that Epstein died by suicide, demanded a new investigation, questioned the autopsy, the jail video, the missing or disputed footage, the handling of evidence, and the speed with which officials closed ranks around the suicide ruling. Whether one accepts his claims or not, Mark has become one of the most vocal critics of the official story, arguing that the government has hidden information and that the public has been fed a managed narrative instead of a transparent accounting. Together, Ian and Mark represent two family-driven attacks on the same system: one saying Maxwell was used as a scapegoat, the other saying Epstein's death was covered up, and both insisting that the real truth has been buried behind procedure, secrecy, and institutional self-protection.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

"Zorro Ranch was probably the most eerie place, just giant and quiet and literally in the middle of nowhere. Miles and miles of just mountains and dirt."On the morning of 8 March 2026, a group of people gathered at a gate on a dirt road in the New Mexico desert, about 30 miles south of Santa Fe, in a place called Stanley. The gate leads to an extravagant property that sits on roughly 7600 acres of high desert scrubland. The nearest town is twenty miles away. If you screamed out here, no one would hear it.The property used to be called Zorro Ranch. It belongs to a Texas family now, who bought it in 2023 and renamed it San Rafael Ranch. Before that family attempted to rehabilitate the ranch into a Christian retreat, however, it belonged to Jeffrey Epstein...This is a continuation of a series we started last year. The vice president of the United States called a meeting in the Situation Room last year to discuss the administration's cover-up of the Epstein files. Never mind that there were allegations in the files that Trump had had sex with an underage girl in Epstein's child trafficking ring—and which somehow involved Trump's alleged nipple fetish. The Epstein victims and the underlying crimes were not a priority in the meeting; getting Ghislaine or Vance on a friendly podcast was. Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell were repeatedly described as unusually close, long-running friends whose relationship predated much of the public Epstein scandal and helped place Andrew inside Epstein's social orbit. Andrew has said he knew Maxwell from her university years at Oxford, and he has acknowledged that he met Epstein through her, although later accounts and released records have raised questions about the exact timeline. Over the years, Andrew and Maxwell were photographed and reported together in elite social settings in New York, London, and elsewhere, with Maxwell functioning as a bridge between Andrew and Epstein's world. Their closeness became central to the scandal because Maxwell was not some distant acquaintance in Andrew's life; she was a trusted social contact with access to him, his homes, and his circle. That relationship did not simply vanish once Maxwell was arrested and later convicted. Publicly, Andrew distanced himself from the entire Epstein network, but reporting and released materials have continued to suggest that the bond between Andrew and Maxwell remained warmer and more complicated than the official posture implied. Maxwell herself referred to Andrew as a “dear friend” after her conviction and said she still cared about what was happening to him, while later Epstein-file releases included emails believed to be between Andrew and Maxwell, including one in which the sender appeared to ask about “new inappropriate friends.” The picture that emerges is of a friendship that became politically and legally toxic, forcing it out of public view, but not necessarily erasing the personal loyalty and familiarity that had existed for years.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

Ian Maxwell's Spectator article reads less like a defense of justice and more like a tone-deaf PR memo from a family desperate to rewrite history. Cloaked in pseudo-sympathy and self-pity, Maxwell portrays his sister Ghislaine as some tragic heroine—a misunderstood victim of “media persecution” and an “inhumane” justice system. He spares no ink reminding readers that she was strip-searched, isolated, and treated unfairly, yet offers not a single ounce of genuine accountability for the teenage girls she groomed, exploited, or delivered into the hands of Jeffrey Epstein. The piece reeks of entitlement—the idea that the daughter of Robert Maxwell should be exempt from the consequences of her own actions simply because she's “suffered enough.” It's manipulative, self-serving, and deeply insulting to survivors who endured far worse.Rather than confronting the crimes or showing remorse, Ian Maxwell doubles down on the family's trademark arrogance, spinning a narrative that his sister is a scapegoat for Epstein's sins. He blames the justice system, the media, and public opinion—anyone and everyone except the person who trafficked minors across continents under the guise of philanthropy and power. His framing suggests that wealth and pedigree should shield one from public outrage, as if accountability were some vulgar thing reserved for commoners. What emerges isn't a defense of due process—it's the whining of a man unwilling to accept that his sister wasn't “targeted” by the system; she was caught by it. And the only “injustice” here is the insult of pretending otherwise.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Don't take Virginia Giuffre's memoir at face value - The Spectator WorldBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

Ian Maxwell's BBC interview was controversial because it gave Ghislaine Maxwell's brother a national platform immediately after her conviction to argue that she remained innocent, that the case against her was flawed, and that her defense had been crippled by the conditions of her confinement before trial. He portrayed the appeal as centered on claims that she had been unable to properly prepare, while also echoing defense arguments that challenged the credibility and motives of the women who testified. The backlash was predictable: Ghislaine had just been convicted of recruiting and grooming teenage girls for Jeffrey Epstein to abuse, and many critics saw the interview as yet another example of the Maxwell family trying to reframe a trafficking conviction as a story about unfair treatment rather than about the victims and the evidence. On Epstein's death, Ian Maxwell has been tied to the broader Maxwell-family skepticism around the official suicide finding, saying or suggesting that Ghislaine herself did not believe Epstein killed himself. That view later lined up with Ghislaine Maxwell's own statements in released Justice Department interviews, where she said she did not believe Epstein died by suicide but also rejected the more sweeping theory that powerful outsiders had him killed to protect blackmail secrets. Her version was narrower: if Epstein was murdered, she suggested it was more likely an “internal” prison situation involving corruption, inmate violence, or catastrophic jail mismanagement. The key point is that the Maxwell camp's position does not cleanly endorse every Epstein murder theory; it casts doubt on the official suicide conclusion while also trying to steer suspicion away from the elite network around Epstein and toward the broken, filthy machinery of the federal jail where he died.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

Trump just refiled his $10 billion lawsuit against the Murdoch-owned Wall Street Journal over its reporting that Trump allegedly included a drawing and letter in a birthday book for Jeffrey Epstein. In an effort to prove “actual malice,” Trump now cites a statement that Ghislane Maxwell made to Todd Blanche, Trump's former personal attorney, shortly before her reported transfer to a cushier jail. Who were the women who worked with Jeffrey Epstein? In Part I of this series, we look at Ghislaine Maxwell, transnational crime royalty as the daughter of MI6/Mossad double-agent and disgraced British media mogul Robert Maxwell, whose dying wish was to connect Maxwell with a young upstart in New York named Epstein. Joining this discussion are investigative filmmaker Dave Pederson, the producer of the anti-corruption documentaries Americonned and Super Size Me, and OSINT expert Patrick Duggan who created a searchable database of the Epstein files before the DOJ could delete them. We also discuss the analysis by investigative journalist Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez that Maxwell was Epstein's handler in an intelligence long-game going back to the O.S.S., predecessor to the C.I.A. Important historical context to our discussion: In 2011, then FBI Director Robert Mueller gave the "Iron Triangles" speech, revealing that transnational crime today works like an industry: fancy Western institutions like banks, law firms, and PR firms launder the money and reputations of shadowy crime and rogue intelligence syndicates, who are further served by their paid-off political operatives and politicians. In the speech, Mueller promised to crack down on the head of the Russian mafia, Semion Mogilevich, nicknamed the "boss of all bosses." Instead, Mogilevich was mysteriously taken off of the FBI's Most Wanted List in 2015, at a time the FBI was busting Russian spy rings in New York City, including Kremlin recruitment of college girls, including one Andrea may have encountered at a foreign policy event. A year later, Donald Trump, after decades of financial dealings with dirty Russian money, would be elected president with the Kremlin's illegal help. The 2016 election was a transnational coup decades in the making. In 1999, a high-level U.S. source leaked to the New York Times, undermining a sensitive intelligence operation between the FBI and MI6 to close-in on Russian mafia infiltration in the West, especially Mogilevich. In reporting from that time, The Guardian wrote: "Author Jeffrey Robinson - whose latest book, The Merger, was published by Simon and Schuster last week - says that organised criminals such as Mogilevich are enjoying massive success using Harvard Business School techniques. 'Mogilevich typifies the new global criminal,' says Robinson. 'These men don't rob banks, they buy them. They take full advantage of globalisation, ill-equipped law enforcement and lax money-laundering laws - especially in Britain - using the City of London as their onshore gateway to the offshore world. 'This case is the tip of the iceberg. The City is an absolute cesspool and it will remain a cesspool because the people in charge don't care. Mogilevich is not the only one, the Bank of New York is not the only place." Russian oligarchs are the Russian military industrial complex. Mogilevich oversees "weapons trafficking, contract murders, extortion, drug trafficking, and prostitution on an international scale," according to the FBI. It would be easy to buy-off U.S. officials, like the FBI's Charles McGonigal who was paid with our tax dollars to fight the Russian mafia, but was instead on their payroll. Intelligence agencies in the U.S. – the FBI and the CIA – have faced virtually no oversight and accountability for most of their existence, leading to the explosive Church Committee Congressional hearings, exposing that the CIA and FBI were involved in covert mind control experiments, illegal coups and science fiction-style assassination programs, and violent infiltration of political opposition groups on U.S. soil. You can learn more about that in our recent episode on the Church Committee Report – in the show notes. Listen to Part I now. Part II will be out this Thursday as Gaslit Nation's Bonus Show, with a continued discussion of the women who worked with Epstein, and what they may reveal about the Iron Triangles that illegally helped bring a Russian asset/traitor to power. So Who Was? https://alisav.substack.com/p/epstein-likely-wasnt-the-boss-so February 5, 2026 from The Times: "Jeffrey Epstein was introduced to Ghislaine Maxwell by her brother Kevin as part of a plan for the paedophile financier to help the Maxwell family "move money", according to a previously undisclosed account of the origins of the scandal. Kevin Maxwell, once Britain's biggest bankrupt, was "instructed to meet Epstein by his father", Robert Maxwell, according to FBI records of conversations with a former business associate of the Maxwells that have been released by the US Department of Justice. Kevin later introduced Ghislaine to Epstein and was responsible for placing her office in New York near Epstein after Robert Maxwell's death in 1991, the business associate is said to have claimed. Kevin allegedly negotiated an "understanding" with Epstein and Ghislaine whereby Epstein "would become involved in the Maxwell financial affairs". https://www.thetimes.com/article/0b5bfceb-3c2a-4ffa-aa2f-74e38a395a1e US charges Russian 'spies' suspected of trying to recruit New Yorkers https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/jan/26/us-charges-alleged-russian-spies-new-york Traitors in the FBI https://www.gaslitnationpod.com/episodes/traitors-in-the-fbi/ "Donald Barr's 26-page O.S.S. file, obtained from the National Archives, gives a detailed account of his transition from the military to intelligence work. The newly surfaced Epstein–Maxwell emails destroy the carefully maintained image that Ghislaine Maxwell was little more than a bystander in Epstein's orbit. The sheer volume of correspondence—thousands of messages, including more than 200 in the months just before Epstein's 2008 indictment—shows her still playing an active, managerial role long after she claimed to have distanced herself. These aren't the casual check-ins of someone who drifted away; they read like the operational lifeline of a fixer who was deeply entangled, ensuring Epstein's logistics, staff, and image were being tightly managed as his legal peril mounted. The reality is clear: instead of retreating when the walls closed in, Maxwell remained inside the command center, working shoulder to shoulder with Epstein while he scrambled to preserve his empire.Other evidence only compounds the contradictions. Maxwell has repeatedly insisted she never saw abuse, never witnessed a “client list,” and was unaware of any wrongdoing, yet the new material—emails, the infamous birthday book, and corroborating records—paint a different picture. They show her acting as the connective tissue in Epstein's network, coordinating travel, arranging connections, and maintaining contact even as his predation became impossible to deny. Against this backdrop, her courtroom narrative of innocence collapses into absurdity. The disclosures don't just raise questions about her credibility—they obliterate it, exposing her as an active, deliberate participant who helped sustain the machinery of Epstein's operation rather than some unfortunate bystander swept along by events.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Epstein emails reveal deep secrets: Maxwell knew what he did, Trump figures 3 times, says report – Firstpost

Ghislaine Maxwell's family released a new statement in response to the Department of Justice's announcement that it is closing its investigation into Jeffrey Epstein's co-conspirators. In it, they expressed “relief” that the probe has ended and argued that it validates their long-standing claim that Ghislaine was unfairly targeted and scapegoated. The family asserted that Ghislaine was prosecuted simply because of her association with Epstein, implying that her conviction was more about public pressure than actual culpability. They continue to frame her as a victim of circumstance, not a willing participant in the crimes for which she was convicted. The statement reads less like a defense and more like a soft relaunch of Ghislaine's image—an attempt to reframe her legacy as unjustly ruined rather than rightly condemned. By invoking the DOJ's decision as supposed proof of her innocence, the Maxwell family is working to erase the mountain of evidence, the survivor testimony, and the jury's unanimous verdict that put her in prison. It's a bold move—one that deliberately ignores the reality of what she did and who she helped. Their message isn't justice-seeking; it's reputation management dressed up as vindication.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Ghislaine Maxwell's family breaks their silence with bombshell claim as Trump decision to close Epstein case triggers MAGA civil war and cover-up claims | Daily Mail OnlineBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

The latest Epstein document release further reinforces how deeply Prince Andrew was entangled in Jeffrey Epstein's orbit and how aware authorities were of his potential exposure long before public accountability set in. Newly surfaced investigative materials show that prosecutors believed Andrew had direct knowledge of Ghislaine Maxwell's role in recruiting young women and sought to question him formally about his relationship with Epstein, his presence around victims, and his continued contact after Epstein's 2008 conviction. The documents make clear that Andrew was not viewed as a peripheral figure, but as someone investigators considered central enough to warrant detailed questioning under caution. Despite this, no interview ever took place, underscoring the long-standing gap between investigative interest and actual enforcement when it came to a senior royal. The files also highlight the extraordinary degree of institutional hesitation surrounding Andrew, both in the United Kingdom and internationally. While investigators outlined lines of questioning and compiled evidence, diplomatic sensitivities and royal privilege effectively stalled progress. Andrew's refusal to cooperate was tolerated for years, even as civil litigation and survivor testimony mounted, and British authorities showed little urgency in compelling his participation. The documents illustrate a pattern in which reputational risk to the monarchy consistently outweighed accountability, allowing Andrew to avoid meaningful scrutiny until public pressure became impossible to ignore. Rather than revealing new allegations, the release confirms what survivors and journalists have long argued: that Prince Andrew was shielded not by a lack of concern, but by a system unwilling to confront power.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Andrew 'knew Ghislaine was a sex madam', Epstein cops believed - as new docs reveal efforts to quiz royal under cautionBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.
