Today Steven and Meg discuss the creative power of holding loosely what you have, while gratefully receiving more.  Steven guides us into the wisdom to abscond with the higher self.  “Living up to an image that you have of yourself or that other people have of you…Is not your truth, it's not your true north…it's not your authentic self…and should not be for determining the life you were meant to live.  The true vision of self…is imagined and comes forth by the constructs of your unconditional acceptance of what already is within you.  The keys to locating yourself are found in what deeply moves you…what intrigues you…what stirs your soul.  Whatever you're most curious about in your present moment…is the next navigational point on your internal GPS for asserting your attention.  Go there and see.   When you follow your compass, you expand your territory for the blessed life you were sent here to experience.”      ============================================ Connect with Steven Canyon: Text “KINETIC" to 844-844-0049  Website - https://stevencanyon.com Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/stevencanyon/ Clubhouse - @stevencanyon and @megancanyon Facebook - https://facebook.com/stevencanyonco

Welcome to the Kickstart Commerce podcast where we share search marketing and domain investing strategies to help grow your business. In today's episode, our guest is Steven Tey — a developer and founder of Elegance.ai, formerly known as OneWord.Domains.  Today Steven and I discuss: How pursuing education in Malaysia landed him in the United States, having recently graduated a double major in branding and data science from Minerva. We then discuss how a simple prototype to take the top 10,000 most commonly used English words and pair them with popular non .com domain extensions led to the birth of OneWord.Domains. And if that wasn't enough, Steven shares his lighting-in-a-bottle moment of OneWord.Domains going viral via ProductHunt and Hacker News. Steven also shares how he used OneWord.Domains to discover and launch his next business ideas, Elegance.ai and Recurrence.app. Last but not least, Steven gives us a glimpse of what is on the horizon for him personally and professionally. Today Steven and William discuss their views on the political division into the left and right wings. They argue that this differentiation is unnecessary and artificial, as both groups have much to offer, but to solve different problems. This insight underlines how they should complement each other, rather than get at each other's throats. “I don't care who does the electing, as long as I get to do the nominating.” - Boss Tweed is quoted in Larry Lessig's TED talk “Our democracy no longer represents the people. During the month of August the Worth Listening theme is Giving. A lot of conversations in the financial world focus around how to make more, investment more, and save more. Giving is an often overlooked but important piece of the pie. Today I’m excited to have professional track and field athlete, entrepreneur & philanthropist Steven Benedict here to share his Money Memoir with us.  As a professional track and field athlete and Olympic Trials Qualifier, Steven Benedict has run in some of the world's most prestigious events. In addition to the Adidas Classic Diamond League and US Nationals, he ran for Nike for 2 years and was A Penn Relays Champion. Featured in 50 national and international magazines such as Train, ESPN Magazine, Mens Fitness, Mens Health and Fitness RX, Steven offers advice and motivation to elite and up and coming athletes alike. Beyond the track, he is the founder of “Fostering Success”  a non-profit organization that pairs Professional Athletes with Foster Kids and is a powerful motivational speaker and author.  These accomplishments were not what was expected based on his early years. From abandonment to abuse, family deceptions, untimely deaths, drugs, and alcohol, Steven was confronted with more obstacles before the age of 28 than the majority of people face in a lifetime. Despite the hardships, Steven applied what he learned on the track to remain focused on the finish line. His rules for running the race translate to almost every industry, person, and circumstance and his story is a reminder to all who hear it that so long as you still have breath in your lungs, your race can still be won.  Today Steven will share with us more about his personal experiences and how he focuses on giving back now.  In This Episode We Discuss: The second chance he was given by his adoptive parents The impact that others made on his life as he was growing up  The difference between giving and investing How he diversifies his income streams as a professional athlete  The importance of understanding that giving doesn’t have to be financial How he’s running his nonprofit different than many others Instagram: @steviey_b www.stevieyb.com

Welcome back to another episode of The Steven Sulley Study. Today Steven talks to you about property and explains specifically about the HMO sector and why you should get into the HMOs now to make guaranteed money. Hop in to learn about this and much more. KEY TAKEAWAYS HMO. This stand for house multiple occupations, it's also referred to sometimes as multi lets. Why you should do or be in HMOs. Number one is if the wealthier do it if they're successful, I'll do it, therefore I should be doing it because all you got to do in life is copy what successful people are doing, make it 10% better and you can achieve the same results if not more or better. Number two is a great place to save your money. It can cushion you against turbulent times, I'm not saying you can't lose money from property, generally speaking, if you hold an asset long enough, it's going to go back up. Thirdly, these properties are quite a lot more cash flow. Number four is If you go to a commercial lender, they will lend you the money on the bricks and mortar, the actual property itself the asset but most importantly, the business inside that asset which is you've got tenancy agreements you've got a contract with all these tenants. There's cash flow coming in, so they actually give you a loan also above and beyond the property itself. HMO's are recession proof. This is every property going on the decline. There's never a recession in HMOs because even if the economy goes on a recession, you can still hold on to that property because the recession will eventually come to an end and the price of the properties will go up. In HMOs, you start creating a culture and a community inside that property. If you've got five or six like-minded people that all been vetted and all very, very similar in regards to their outlook on life for their paradigms, these people kind of work together and they also socialize together which leads to the formation of some relationships. BEST MOMENTS “If the wealthier do it, if they're successful, I'll do it.” “Money is the root of all evil as well as all positivity.” “Money is a neutral kind of medium, it's not bad and it's not good.” VALUABLE RESOURCES Steven Sulley Study Podcast https://omny.fm/shows/the-steven-sulley-study ABOUT THE HOST The Steven Sulley Study is my take on success. My view is you should have multiple focuses to be a well-rounded individual. Success shouldn't be just one thing like money, for example, it should also consist of a healthy fit lifestyle and thriving relationships. Welcome back to another episode of The Steven Sulley Study. Today Steven explains why investing in watches is always a solid investment. If you're looking to affiliate yourself with successful people, keep to a routine of champions and empower yourself to be a success, this episode is for you. There are more benefits to watches than just telling the time.  Ist' a badge of honour, an extension of yourself and your personality and people will view you as a success because of it. Owning and investing in watches will create you endless opportunities and allow your business to flourish. KEY TAKEAWAYS Why Investing In Watches Is Important Watches tell the time - They fit the fundamental need of keeping to a routine and getting things done. Watches hold their prices and increase over time. Rolex, Philippe and AP typically grow in value over time Gratitude watches - There are days when life is a struggle a gratitude watch provides you with a little reminder that you are a success and you are empowered. Surround yourself with the right group of people and use your watch to create a common ground. This will give you instant rapport and instant recognition and opportunities will follow. Buy watches that are limited edition and limited production and you are guaranteed to have an appreciating asset. My Rolex Daytona Stainless Steel - I purchased this in 2005 for £5000 today it's worth in excess of £12,000. Watches go up in value exponentially. Buy cashflowing assets first such as property, HMO's or serviced accommodation units before treating yourself to a watch. Once you have a sustainable monthly income put that money into a luxury watch that will appreciate in value over time The law of attraction only works when you surround yourself with the right people and write down your goals and as a result, gravitate towards the goals that you want to achieve. BEST MOMENTS “When I first got into sales and started affiliating myself with successful people, I noticed they all seem to speak, invest and collect watches” “When I started making money I gravitated toward investing in watches and part of my financial and materialistic goals are owning some luxury watches” "You don't know what you don't know" "I run a regimented day, starting with the routine of a champion" “There is an instant synergy and an instant connection when discussing watches” "Your Net-worth will be determined by your Net-work" VALUABLE RESOURCES The Secret: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Secret-Rhonda-Byrne/dp/1847370292/ ABOUT THE HOST The Steven Sulley Study is my take on success. My view is you should focus on a number of key areas to be a well-rounded individual. Success should not be just one thing like money, for example, it should also consist of a healthy fit lifestyle and thriving relationships. As a person who has made a success in life and also made some cock-ups, I can offer suggestions and tips on how to become successful or at least start your pursuit of success. I started from leaving school at 16 with very poor school results to pursue a career in plumbing following the directions of my parents that then lead me to a barrister's chamber and then to a sales floor. From here, I established a foothold in the sales market promoting financial products as well as being a founder of an art agency that has a Soho based art studio. In addition, I have invested into an urban fashion brand and into a wellness tech company, and my latest addition to the business portfolio is a property company that which creates HMO's in Medway, Kent. The diverse range of industries I find myself in has allowed me to create wealth that enables me to be my own boss so I can pursue my dreams. As a former boxer and avid sportsman I find there are similarities between the running of businesses and competing. In my episodes, I will be sharing some of my experiences to explore deeper these connections and how they may bring you success." Dave Beronio is a man of many talents. He’s driven, compassionate, mischievous, and on top of it all, he’s absolutely hilarious! Today Steven talks with Dave about everything from, his pro Ski racing, being a dad, to his run for Train To Hunt gold and being an integral part of “Outback Outdoors” So sit back and relax, and see why we love Dave so much and tend to hang on his every word! He was born and raised in Lake Tahoe, Nevada along the rugged snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada's. The mountains provided opportunities for excellent hunting, fishing and ski racing, which as a kid, were skills passed on by generations of avid competitors. Growing up an athlete, Dave traveled the Alpine ski racing circuit as an Elite level skier, competing all over North America and around the world. He used this talent and secured a scholarship to attend and compete for the University of Nevada Reno while working on his Business Degree. However, hunting remained his true passion. Life in the Sierras provided an environment that would allow his outdoor appetite to grow. He is an avid bow hunter, fly fisherman, bird hunter, and all around sportsman. Dave has a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the wildlife that call it home. He founded the Sierra Nevada Chapter of the Mule Deer Foundation, and is an active member of the Operation Game Thief Citizens board. He spends countless hours volunteering and working with biologists and Wildlife organizations that specialize in big game research and habitat restoration projects. Dave is married to his beautiful wife Denise, and is the proud father to daughter, Hunter and his son, Gatlin. Dave is a firm believer in hard work, dedication and proving his worth above and beyond what is expected. He also believes strongly in loyalty, commitment, and representing himself in a positive way and showing his Faith in God. Dave feels it is important to give back more than he takes, and he teaches his kids the importance of the outdoors and how it provides the food to fill your soul. "It's all part of the adventure!" Now following his passion for Bow Hunting, Dave is also a host for the TV Show, "Outback Outdoors". He is one member of a team of hardcore bow hunters that capture hunts for their television show.
