By assessing it's VALUE.  The assessment of value is entirely subjective - that new Golf Driver you bought for  $4500 isn't  worth $35 to me because ... I don't play golf. BUT if I did want to learn to play golf, and you invested some time teaching me about the differences between each of the different clubs, the materials they're made with, the grips, the length and size of each shaft and so on - and how each of these factors dramatically affects performance ... well now you've definitely got my attention, and it's very possible that I would now start to recognize that your new driver is worth every penny.That's what great marketing has to do. Did you ever watch that old chick flick called "Under the Tuscan Sun?"  Italy is one of my favorite countries to visit, but that's not the reason I liked this movie. Actually I don't remember anything about this movie except one very memorable line where one of the characters talks about a very steep section of the Alps between Austria and Italy called the Semmering. It is an impossibly steep, very high part of the mountains. The reason this part of the movie stuck out to me is because this one character tells us the true story of how they built a train track over these Alps to connect Vienna and Venice. But here's the thing. They built these train tracks even BEFORE there was a train in existence that could make the trip. They built it because they knew some day, the train would come.And the train did come.  In other words, you have to act like success is already yours - and this is the act that MAKES the success happen. Growing up with my mom mainly, most weekends were spent with her going to open houses where we got ideas for the live-in flips we often did. Naturally, I was excited to start my first live-in flip investment in 2012 at the young age of 24.   My career has mainly been in business development. For 6 years while I was in my 20s I worked for an aviation company building their distribution channels from scratch which turned into a global network and created millions in revenue. Two of the top things I got from this were 1) the ability to genuinely connect with anyone quickly and what it takes to build a trusting relationship. And 2) I often worked with domestic and foreign militaries. In fact, my boss was a US Air Force Colonel and working with him taught me the benefit of good leadership, systems, discipline, and a very strong worth ethic – “the job was never done”. In The REINVESTORS, I'm the analytical, detailed and data/stat guy. I am experience driven, resilient, and the risk averse one who believes that anything is possible with the right team and execution plan.   I love connecting with people. I love the thrill of the hunt. And I want to grow into being a very successful developer. In life, I love hockey and anything that has to do with adrenaline or the outdoors. I'm engaged to my best friend, Rebecca, and we are thinking that a Bali wedding with close friends and family sounds perfect. Running relaxes me and I love a good challenge, even if that means “failing” at it because I know I'll get something out of it.
