Craig Capurso Hosts this episode and breaks down these 6 excuses.craigcapurso.com... I don't know-how... I'm Afraid ... I don't have enough time... I don't have enough money -... It's too late for me -... It's too hard - Are You Interested or Committed to your goals?Well…What's the difference? If you're only Interested you will only do what's convenient...How many times have you allowed an excuse to Stop You from getting something you wanted?Look I get it… Some folks don't grow up with the best circumstances:Born into a household that lacked Support, Money, Education, Opportunities…And now when you look back, you attribute the lack of success to a product of what lot you were given…That's Weak Sauce…. Right There..That's playing the Victim…That's that same Crap that is rampant in today's political environment, which I will NOT be getting intoon this podcast today…It’s easy to beat yourself up when you look back at what you didn’t accomplish!orWhen you look in the mirror and are disgusted with what is staring back at you. But!If you truly look at what got in the way, and you are honest with yourself you will see... That it was always you.Not your circumstances!IT WAS YOU!It was your lack of COMMITMENT! So I am going to work through some common excuses and solutions to those excusesIf at the end of today I moved you to take action and help you to re-commit to whatever has been on your mind.I want to hear from you.  Leave a comment where ever you are hearing or watching this. That you are Going to take action based on this wake-up call, or that you already took action.-------------------Excuses!!!!... I don't know-howThis statement gives you permission to not even try.  This is one of the easiest to overcome.  Hell… you can learn how to build a house on YouTube if you are truly committed.Try ThisEducate your self, take a course,Hire Help,Join a Support Group,Get a coach for accountability ... I'm Afraid -“Every successful person was too they just choose to persist and build their confidence by venturing beyond their doubt" Try This:Ask yourself what is the worst thing that can happen?  List it outList all the good things that can happen? You will likely see the good outweighs the bad"Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and FOCUS on what could go right!" ... I don't have enough time -You make time for what’s truly important to you.Try ThisCreate a list of the things you do on a daily basis from the moment you awake until the end of the day.Record your activities in 20-minute blocks. (Include everything)Do this for the week..You are going to find a lot of waste, but you will also find 2-4 hours that you can take back and dedicate to your goals. ... I don't have enough money -There's usually a way to work around a lack of financial resources.  Take the step from the last exampleTry Thismake a list of all the things you spend your money on and look for waste.Look at all the things that don’t serve your goalsLook for recurring subscriptions that you don’t use.You can Increase your skills by Volunteering or Interning which can lead to bigger pay or opportunitiesGet a Second job,Get a Side hustle.Money is not scarce… the way you think about it is! ... It's too late for me -Getting a late start might be less convenient and more challenging, but God determines when it's over.  Not your limiting beliefs.  If you still have the physical ability to put forth the effort you owe it to your future self to do so.Try ThisFind out what you wantWhat is your real why isWhat interests you,What influences youWhat motivates you.And then Build a plan,Take it one step at a time one rep at a time. ... It's too hard -Claiming that something is “too hard” is really just another way of admitting that you’re afraid. And Yes,  It’s going to be harder than what you are used to giving as per energy, attention, mental concentration, but I can tell you from experience that the satisfaction of completing something that you poured your heart into and earned is priceless.Try ThisSet your mind on success!Get an accountability partner.Listen to a Podcast orWatch Youtube videos that motivate youAffirm yourself with the reasons WHY you want IT and Why NOW is the time you are going to achieve it. You want a trick when going after your goals?Make Them SMARTS - SpecificM - MeasurableA - AttainableR - RelevantT - Timely And Set goals along the path.Small goals often help provide wins that are critical to boosting your confidence.Let go of the excuses, and Let go of the reasons why you can't.  When you do this you will see past your own limiting beliefs.-It’s time you surprise yourselfIt’s Time To BECOME!And Take responsibility

Drawing on her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, her experience in being raised between three cultures (and being fluent in three languages since the age of 3) and her 30 years of personal development work, Marie-Elizabeth brings a unique perspective to being your full, authentic self in relationship—instead of trying to mold yourself to others’ opinions so you can fit in.Everybody says not to complain, but Relationship Artist Marie-Elizabeth Mali has a different suggestion.Listen to this episode to learn how to work with your complaints in a way that doesn't force you to try not to feel how you feel. Using her easy-to-follow formula, you'll boost your clarity and power to create and have more what you want, so there's less in your life about which to complain! This is what we talk about:How a complaint is a veiled desireHow you can mine your complaints for clues about what you wantWhat works better than complaining, which usually gets you resistance and defensiveness. How this is not about “getting your way,” but about communicating with your partner to get at the heart of the matter at hand, which fosters greater understanding for both parties and therefore, more freedom and security for all.Marie Elizabeth has a free pdf she has made available to listeners here:3 Secrets To Living the Relationship of Your Dreamshttps://memali.com/three-secretsMarie-Elizabeth’s website: https://www.memali.comSocial Media:FB: https://facebook.com/memalicoachIG: https://instagram.com/memali108Twitter: https://twitter.com/memali108LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/memali108Pinterest: https://pinterest.com/memali108YouTube: https://youtube.com/user/MarieElizabethMali Like what you’ve heard? In 2020, image is everything. The most famous people in the world are famous because of their Instagram posts and or Tweets that make the stock market go crazy. Through all of this, one thing is consistent: branding. Whether it’s the Instagram model who only posts photos showing off designer clothing, the eccentric billionaire who builds “bullet proof” trucks, or the leader of the free world with his incoherent messaging, each of these people has an image. This image is their brand. If Elon Musk posted a photo of a “great turnout” with 5 people in attendance, people would think he’s a loser with no influence. But if he posts a photo of himself speaking to thousands of people, he has instant credibility. So why on earth would any band in their right mind post a photo of a local show with only the other bands in attendance? The business-savvy ones won’t. Listen now to learn how you can improve your branding and harness a new technique called trigger marketing in combination with your branding to grow your listener base! Well Happy Monday Motivation! Welcome back! Welcome first-timers!  It's time to get busy and yep, NO. MORE. EXCUSES! This is week THREE of me breaking down my January 1st Big ASS ASK! I laid it on BIG on New Year's Day and now I'm breaking down each one. And keep listening because in February we'll break each down even MORE into the HOW portion! And make sure you're creating ACTION! (I like CAPITALS don't I!) January is flying by, how are things going for you? It's been a bit of a whirlwind for me as I've prepped for talks, team building events and chasing clients who've been avoiding me due to lack of progress!  The thing is, you're going to hit speed bumps, find challenges, the Holidays alone have it's own set of challenges, but you can't quit when shit goes sideways... right?! Last week's podcast was focused on PERSONAL GOALS (Did you listen? Did you email me your personal goal?) If not, get on it, and then this week I want to know what you're going to do PROFESSIONALLY to get to that next level? What is it that you need? Want? What can get you to that NEXT LEVEL?  Whatever it is... NOW is the time! 2018 is the YEAR of GROWTH! What can you ACHIEVE? Remember our parents used to say "You can do whatever you put your mind to?" Well, let's show them you CAN! That way a year from now, you won't "wish" you had started! If you can't figure it out - if fear and/or confusion is still clouding your mind, then click here to schedule a half-day STRATEGY SESSION!  Have a great week! Cheers! Sandi

“When you do something, do it better than you thought you could do.” — Shayne Sweeney Growing up in Northern California, Shayne Sweeney had a knack for computers. Although his hobby got him kicked out of high school, it set him on course to becoming the first engineer for Instagram. In this episode of Takeover Tuesday, Dermot Buffini asks Shayne all about his journey; from being expelled from high school to his time developing apps in San Francisco, including the start of Instagram. Shayne discusses his early web development successes and failures; how the release of the iPhone got him focused on developing apps; and the early days and rise of Instagram. You’ll learn why simplicity is important, how failure helps build confidence, and the five things you need to start something new. Whether you’ve been in business for years or you’re nervous to launch your idea, this episode will provide the motivation and inspiration you need to put the work in and achieve success.   Inspirational quotes from today’s interview: “It’s not the idea that’s the value; it’s the work in making the idea a reality.” — Shayne Sweeney “By working on CoffeeTable, I was still connected to the chain of everything in my path.” — Shayne Sweeney “I moved down to meet people who are like-minded, who I respect and can really learn from.” — Shayne Sweeney “You have to see things play out. You have to see it validated after a certain amount of time.” — Shayne Sweeney “It’s very hard to find the simple thing when you have so much going on.” — Dermot Buffini “If you’re building a social product, you won’t be successful without your customer.” — Shayne Sweeney “Have confidence in where you’re going, but you’ve got to maintain that pulse [on the customer].” — Shayne Sweeney “Understanding what you do is the most important quality or characteristic you have.” — Shayne Sweeney “Recognize that failure is tough and sometimes you need someone to tell you it’s not working.” — Shayne Sweeney   Mentioned in the episode: The Dip by Seth Godin How to Want What you Have by Timothy Ray Miller Isaac Asimov Foundation series   Connect with Brian Buffini http://www.brianbuffini.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brianbuffini Twitter: https://twitter.com/brianbuffini Buffini Show Insiders: http://www.thebrianbuffinishow.com/insiders Love what you heard?
