One day, my friend Natalie Sisson stood in a park, rain pouring down on her, and cried. She had been feeling down for weeks. What was the matter with her? While she was feeling sorry for herself, a loud, internal voice suddenly told her: Suck it up, princess. She laughed at her own rudeness. Had she really just said that to herself? Then she realised it had been exactly what she needed. Later that day, she decided to make it the title of her new book.  Like Natalie, we all have moments when we feel down, pity ourselves, or are negative about pretty much everything that surrounds us. The key to overcoming such a state is to know how to get out of it.   In this episode, Natalie speaks about her book Suck It Up, Princess – and how you can get over yourself so you're ready to achieve your goals.   “There's something empowering about being direct with yourself and taking control and responsibility for how you're feeling.” - Natalie Sisson If you're more of a reader, scroll down to read about what you can do to suck it up and get over what's keeping you from achieving your goals.    In this Episode of The Sigrun Show: How Suck It Up, Princess is different from Natalie's first books and how she developed as an author (2:51) Why Natalie's new book is more personal (4:47) How Natalie went from being the suitcase entrepreneur to settling down (6:52)  What the title of Natalie's book is all about (11:03)  Natalie's tips on what to do when you need to suck it up and get over yourself (14:29) How Natalie's passion for sports has shaped her (19:33)   How to Get Over Yourself and Achieve Your Goals We all have moments of anxiety and frustration, but did you ever notice that the dominant element in these situations is you and your thoughts?  While there are definitely times for self-compassion and going easy on yourself, Natalie says there's also something empowering about being direct with yourself and taking control and responsibility for how you are feeling. Here's how:  Take one actionable step Interrupting your pattern and taking one simple step towards what you want can work wonders. Taking action and getting out of your head gives you a moment to disengage from negative thoughts.  Maybe it only needs writing one email, doing one call, or spending five minutes in a yoga class. Being in a state of taking action and making a positive step is something that gets you out of almost anything.  Put your situation into perspective Can it be that we have become a bit soft, entitled even? Natalie believes so, that's why she included Princess in the title of her book. No matter what's going on with you – it's very possible that it pales in comparison to someone else's problems. Put your situation into perspective and at the same time, be your own motivator. Developing resilience and inner strength, as well as an understanding that your situation might not be as bad as you believe can help get you out of your frustration and closer to your goals.  What do you do to get over yourself and navigate out of a low? I'd love to hear from you! You can follow, connect and share with me on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.  Do you want to get your hands on a copy of Suck It Up, Princess?  All you have to do is leave a review for this episode on Apple Podcasts, send us a screenshot of your review and your address to info@sigrun.com, and we'll send over a copy!  Connect with Natalie Sisson Natalie Sisson Natalie's new book Suck It Up, Princess

‘When we're talking about diversity, it's not a box to check. It is a reality that should be deeply felt and held and valued by all of us.’ This is a quote by Ava DuVernay that rings true in many ways throughout our conversation with today’s guest, Natalie Paterson. Natalie is a spoken word artist, educator, and activist and in today’s show, we talk to her about her relationship with poetry and how she is using it as a tool to build a more transparent, vulnerable, and equitable world. We begin with the story of Natalie’s childhood, where she remembers moving from Kokomo, Indiana to LA with her mother after her father fell into addiction. Natalie talks about having an early interest in the dynamics between people and shares how the effacement around her mother and father’s relationship gave her a tendency to want to get to the bottom of things and state them as they are. From there, we get into Natalie’s experiences at school and college, years where she discovered the magic of poetry, began obsessively writing poems of her own, and also got involved in activism against racism. Natalie goes onto describe the live poetry events she began attending, communities she became apart of, and her first, terrifying experiences of performing live. We then hear about the early career Natalie began to build for herself, first as a slam poet, and then later as a teacher and activist. In today's conversation, we also take a deep dive into Natalie’s process, hearing the philosophy about how she sees herself as an artist as well as the goals behind her work. In addition, we explore issues of combatting racism and other violent societal norms, and how Natalie has done this at various stages in her life, including through her mural initiative, A Love Language Project, which was responsible for painting the above Ava DuVernay quote on a vegan cafe in Los Angeles. Tune in today!Key Points From This Episode:A recording of two poems exploring dating and body positivity by Natalie. The story of why Natalie’s mom left her father and moved from Kokomo to LA.How her parents’ dynamic and growing up with no father affected Natalie. The habit of directness Natalie developed as a result of her childhood experiences. Why Natalie’s childhood wasn’t that fun and she was more interested in people than toys.Natalie’s childhood perceptions about people, adulthood, marriage, and her future self. How Natalie experienced being Black and used her identity as a light-skinned Black person in high school. The experiences Natalie had of hearing poetry that made her fall in love with it.How Natalie regularly visited Da Poetry Lounge and began working on her own poems.Natalie’s memory of how terrified she was when she read her first poem on stage.Struggling with what it means to be a true poet and some of Natalie’s idols at the time. How Natalie took a year off college to pursue poetry and joined the LA Slam Team. How Natalie fell into teaching after experiencing the dishonest sides of the poetry scene.

The Second Phase Podcast - Personal Branding & Brand Marketing and Life Strategies for Success for Female Entrepreneurs

How to build a membership program for consistent monthly income. Creating a membership is a great way for having a consistent stream of monthly income.  Natalie Arent shares how to build a membership program. She created her membership by taking messy action and is sharing what she learned. About Natalie Natalie Arent is a personal branding coach for Christian female entrepreneurs struggling to get visible and gain momentum. She helps them find their people online and build a client-attracting brand, so they can live out their God-given calling in business. How Natalie started her Membership Natalie started her membership by taking messy action. She realized that if she continued to wait until the timing was perfect, she never would have taken action.  Instead, taking messy action, launched her forward. Two great resources for creating a membership program: Stu McClaren The Membership Guys How to build a membership program by starting with a Founding Members Special While mapping out the program, offer a discount price to the founding members.  They will appreciate the discount and they will help you build the program. How many people do you start a membership with and where do you find them? Natalie had 400 people in her Facebook Group and the founding members of her membership were already in her audience.  She originally capped the founding members to 12 people because she was new to group coaching and the membership program was going to be a group coaching membership. Keep it simple The key to creating a membership is to keep it simple.  She created a few announcements and a handful of posts and then launched. When keeping things simple and focusing on the people who already trust you, it makes it easier and less overwhelming. Accountability Sometimes, we have to put things out in the world to give us the push and accountability we need to accomplish our goals. Knowing when it's time to pivot Through the 7 months of growing the membership and doing all the right things, Natalie came to realize that the membership wasn't the best container for the information Natalie was teaching. Natalie follows her gut, her God-Gut she calls it. When feeling the need to pivot, block time to focus, and hit pause.  Use the valuable feedback from serving the population you are serving and evaluate with fresh eyes what needs to change. She isn't going to scrap the program she's going to refine it and make it better.  It is growing and evolving and it's important to think about how you can improve it versus scrapping it and starting over completely. Lessons learned from starting a membership   Looking at why you are starting a membership? Evaluate your motive and have a clear focus.  Are you starting it solely because you want consistent monthly income?  Do you love to create community? What is the true reason you want to start the membership and be sure it aligns with your values and works for you and your business?  Be super clear on what this membership is for.  Keep it simple.  There is no need to add bonuses and extras. If people in the membership don't have time to consume all of the content, they will leave the membership because they don't feel like they are able to get their money's worth.  Think about the singular problem you solve for your audience and provide that solution.  It's more valuable to focus solely on the problem that you want to, and know you can, solve so that you don't water down the value. Level of Support and Client Journey. What level of support are you going to provide with your membership? Get super clear on the content you are offering and how it will be delivered. Think about the destination you want your members to reach. Price accordingly. Take offerings into account.  The more detail-oriented and time-consuming the more value. If just providing content ideas, the membership will be much less. Be sure you are being reimbursed for the value you are pouring into the membership to avoid burnout. Know that when you set the bar with the type of support you are going to give your members you need to price accordingly. People will recognize the value and will be willing to pay for it. At the moment, we’re navigating our work and personal lives in a very different and uncertain way, and given this ambiguity, it can be difficult for many of us to hold on to our creativity.According to my guest, times of uncertainty and turmoil are particularly designed for creativity because they give us a nudge to be more adaptive and hyper-observant. With all the challenges and changes in the world, we have to tap into our improvisational nature more than ever and this can lead to exciting breakthroughs that we’ve probably never envisioned before.Today, I wanted to find out from Natalie what are the ways and methods we can use to really boost our creativity and use it to support our teams and empower them to be more adaptive, emergent, and self-organizing. She talks about the importance of shifting from a solution-oriented culture to one that embraces mistakes and focuses on the process and shares a couple of frameworks that can help us make that transition. Dr. Natalie Nixon is a creative strategist who happily integrates wonder and rigor into her life and work. As President of Figure 8 Thinking, she advises and emboldens companies to transform their business results by applying creativity. [8:15] How Natalie put out the fire Resources & People Mentioned Wingnut Social’s ‘Google my Business’ minisode Google my Business Instructions on how to flag a review Google’s Prohibited and Restricted Content Policy BONUS: Springerle Cookie Recipe How do you deal with a bad Google review?  Up until recently, Wingnut Social had 5-star reviews across the board. Google notified Darla and Natalie that they had received a poor review. They immediately dove in and figured out what went wrong. But how did they address the bad Google review? With three simple steps: Acknowledge the issue or concern: The reviewee had a very poor experience dealing with the answering service Wingnut uses. Address the issue: They’re addressing the issue internally with the sub-contractor. Resolve the issue: Apologize to the reviewer/client if necessary and let them know corrective action is being taken.  Other people looking at reviews for your business will see how you address issues. A bad review will crop up here and there and you need to know how to address it—and do it quickly.  Natalie identified the problem and bent over backward to address the concern with the reviewer. Miraculously—and this doesn’t always happen—the reviewee removed the poor review and replaced it with a 5-star review.  Did you know you can flag an inappropriate review? Google has a policy on ‘Prohibited and Restricted Content’ that they use to comb-through a flagged review. If a review is explicit, inappropriate, or even simply aimed at a different entity, it can be removed. You simply need to go into your Google my Business account to flag the review and fill out a policy violation form.  If the review doesn’t fall under prohibited or restricted content, do your best to remedy the situation without being snarky, confrontational, or accusatory. Handle it to the best of your ability, then move on. After all, you’re only human. Plus, people have learned to distrust a perfect score. And if you’ve properly displayed how you’ve handled the situation, people will move past a bad Google review.  To hear the full story on how to deliver exceptional service, tune-in to the full Monday minisode! On this week's episode of the SaaS Revolution Show, we talk with Natalie Nagele, Co-founder and CEO of Wildbit about how she and her co-founder and husband, Chris Nagele have run the company for the past nearly 19 years and have created both an effective and calm environment. During those 19 years, Natalie and Chris have built a lot of products and have shut down many of them. The ones that have stood the test of time have often been SaaS. Currently the company maintains Postmark, Beanstalk and Conveyor. Wildbit currently employs 30 people who are spread between 6 countries. Natalie's main goal throughout all this time has been to keep the company a sane place to work. She has never taken VC funding and has never imposed high growth, or unsustainable goals for the company. At the start of the year, however, Natalie and Chris introduced The Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to help the company become more effective and productive. So far the experience has been great and they are already seeing great results. It has made them far more effective and aligned, especially as they operate a four day work week. At SaaStock we also implemented EOS at the start of the year, so this is as much a rundown of how it works as it is an exchange of notes and advice on how to make it better. Listen on to hear: How Natalie has assured the company has been around for nearly 19 years How they rolled out EOS One area in which EOS has already had a massive impact in Wildbit Natalie is one of many diverse voices we will hear from at SaaStock in Dublin this October. While we will have plenty of stories of high growth and stellar metrics, we will also feature the other, equally as effective ways do SaaS - by growing slowly and sustainably. Joining her on 5 separate tracks will be 150 speakers representing a variety of company stages and verticals. Grab a ticket now at the best possible price.

Guest OverviewThis week's guest is Natalie Bridgeman Fields, a fierce advocate, and pioneer in international human rights, environmental law and founder of Accountability Counsel With parents that instilled in her a deep sense of the inequity in the world, her ethical foundation was formed at an early age However, it was in 1998 that her journey and fight for social justice was sparked by a serendipitous siren call to action from witnessing a group of indigenous women in Chile being arrested while peacefully resisting the construction of a dam on their critical water source. Since then Natalie has dedicated her career to hold the companies and institutions behind harmful projects, like mines, agribusiness, and wind farms, accountable for abuse. After spending a decade as an attorney for, and partner to communities around the world, Natalie founded Accountability Counsel in 2009 to empower communities to defend their rights through a unique avenue for justice. In the last ten years, Accountability Counsel has worked with nearly 40 communities around the world – from farmers in northeast Haiti to nomadic herders in the Mongolian South Gobi desert, to fisherfolk in coastal Kenya. In addition to providing direct legal support to communities, Accountability Counsel works to address the systemic problems that perpetuate harmful projects through policy, advocacy, and research. Knowing that they cannot tackle such a complex problem alone, the organization is also a leading voice in the global movement for accountability in international finance. The impact of Accountability Counsel's unique model has been recognized through awards from Echoing Green and the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation. What we discuss In this interview Natalie and I discuss: The serendipitous events that set her on her social justice journey Parental influence on her awareness of social inequities Her human rights litigation training ground How Accountability Counsel and its offices create systemic change Its three pillars of community programmes; policy initiatives, and research Their theory of change Their use of technology and data to offer better, systematic information delivery for policymakers, investors and communities. How it allows more effective measurement How it makes institutions more accessible for communities Provides better legal services and community advocacy support Their evaluation criteria How they organize disparate communities to address language, literacy and gender barriers to participation in negotiations Their network including the 140 member international advocates working group they formed How they are flipping the global elites model of change through a more democratic, grassroots process of change that starts with engaging communities about what they need to improve poverty and address human rights abuses Their work in the American communities v.s. the rest of the world Natalie's leadership approach Their independent, funding model and how they avoid conflict Their impact investing initiatives How Natalie remains motivated and grounded Her 29029 challenge How she applies creativity and  accesses ideas Natalie's expectations for the next 10 years Her parents influence on Natalie's willpower How they deal with Unknown Unknowns And of course…. Everyone tells you that you need to be an “influencer” on Instagram. But what does that really mean? Does that mean you should have 10,000 followers, 20,000 followers? Does it mean brands are knocking down your door to work with you? There’s no one key number that will grant you magical influencer status, but if you can really make your personality shine on social media, you will build a following. And more importantly, you’ll connect with that following. Case in point: Today’s guest on the Wingnut Social podcast, Natalie Reddell. Natalie is an interior designer based in Richmond, Virginia, and under her social media nom de guerre Commander-in-Chic, she’s made a name for herself in both the interior design social media sphere and the lifestyle/beauty worlds. On this episode, Natalie discusses how she grew her following on Instagram, how she navigates speaking two different audiences, and what makes her #struggle videos connect so strongly with audiences. And let’s just say her personality is not restricted to Instagram. Have fun on Instagram Darla asked Natalie how she got started making her #struggle videos, and even though the videos are about her struggles, she says she started doing them because they’re fun. As she says, no matter how much good intention you have, if you don’t enjoy what you’re doing on social media, eventually you’re going to stop. So you have to have fun, and then your audience will have fun with you, too. Natalie is a living, breathing example of what Wingnut Social always preaches: Be authentic, be yourself, and people will follow you. As you’ll hear on this episode, Natalie has a story to tell, and because she does it with so much personality, people want to hear it. Be on Team Instagram Like all of us, Natalie saw some of her engagement on Instagram fade away when the platform changed its algorithm. But, she says it has gotten better, and one of the reasons that’s gotten better for her is because she has been an early adopter of new Instagram features. So when IG put out IGTV, she hopped on right away, and she found they reward adopting new features. You only get seen by 10% of your followers now, which is obviously very frustrating. But, if you adopt new features IG puts out, whether it’s stories, or live, you’ll pop up more. They want their users to be using all of the bells and whistles, and your followers will get notified if you go live, so it’s an if-you-can’t-beat-’em-join-’em approach to social media, and it’s worked like gangbusters for Natalie. Natalie is the founder and CEO of Star Kids Company and their flagship products are the Christmas Star From Afar and the Easter Story Egg. The Star  From Afar comes with a book and wooden nativity scene. Each day, the star hides and the 3 Wise Man go find it. It is a Gospel centered alternative to the Elf On The Shelf. The Easter Story Egg also comes with a book and a set of nesting eggs.  Each of the nesting eggs helps tell the story of Holy Week. I knew Natalie Ard before she was Natalie Ard. She and I grew up in the same small town in Northern IL where everyone knew your name and knew your business. Back then, she was Natalie Jeffords, her brother Aaron was a year ahead of me in school, her mom taught me to tap dance first in her garage and then in the town hall,  and her dad started out as my high school shop teacher but by the time I was a junior, he was my principle. I invited Natalie to be a guest because she is someone who went from being a stay at home mom to CEO. And not only that, her job requires a lot of travel. In this episode we talk about: How something that started really as just a hobby turned into a company. How Natalie prepared her business to get her product in retail stores. How Natalie got her product on QVC. How Natalie handles heavy travel seasons at work while still making sure her family thrives. The importance of boundaries and priorities in life and business. How to she handles an intense season of travel for work. Our big takeaways from this interview. God puts the right people in your path to help you along the way. Natalie sent her first drafts of her manuscript to her former high school English teacher, Mrs. McGuire, who was delighted to help. She was a trusted expert in Natalie’s life. Grassroots marketing really works. In the very beginning of Star from Afar, Natalie posted about what she was working on on Facebook and emailed her family and friends to share her excitement. She asked them to forward on the information to anyone who might be excited about it. She tapped into  her local market by selling at local vendor fairs and craft shows. There is no such thing as balance, but priorities are a great thing. As Natalie’s business grew, her priorities and boundaries had to shift. She had to say no to some social engagements while she was building her business. There wasn’t as much free time in her life as there was before she started. Natalie realized she needed to create margin and space for self care, time for her family, time with her husband and time with the Lord just as much as she needed to create time to work on her business. She realized everyone starts the day with the same 24 hours and it was up to her to decide how to spend them. Busy season work tips: Cross reference your schedule with your spouse or partner early. In Natalie’s case, she and her husband plan their January work schedule and calendar in October. Ask your community for help. Don’t be afraid to ask your friends, family and neighbors to help with carpool, after school activities or childcare.  Natalie often flies in her parents, so that her kids can keep their schedule the same. Bring your kids into what you’re doing as much as you can. Share photos and videos from your destination. Video chat with them as your schedule allows. Let go of control, you’re not at home. Don’t let things you can’t control consume you. Trust your that your care team has homework, school lunch and school activities handled. Be all in, wherever you’re at. If you’re traveling for work, but that hat on as much as you possibly can while you’re gone. When you come back home, put that mom hat back on and reconnect with your family (instead of coming home from a work trip and diving right back into work). Natalie Kuhn is the Vice President of The Class by Taryn Toomey—an interdisciplinary physical practice that exercises mind, body, and spirit. The Class is constructed to push you to your own limitations while asking you to tune in and question it all; creating space for the deeper questions to arise and providing perspective to let the questions be the answers. Unsurprisingly, The Class has quickly become a phenomenon as people have felt (if just momentary) reprieves from our culture of compressing, repressing, and turning away from uncomfortable emotional experiences, and Natalie plays no small role in this. Natalie is also a poet, in the way that she views the world and in the way that she describes it. I first heard her speak a few days after deciding that I was going to start this podcast and I instantly knew that I wanted to share a little piece of her perspective with y’all. IN THIS EPISODE WE TALK ABOUT: The Class by Taryn Toomey—what it is, how it became what it is, what Natalie’s role is, and how she found herself in it How Natalie’s background in acting, dancing, and performing combined with her background in and exposure to psychological and spiritual studies perfectly guided her to her current position in the Class and in life How the body stores emotions Trusting the small voice that is your intuition What “following your dream” looks like and consists of What is failure? What is success? Plus so much more…   QUOTES “In the class, you engage your body in a particular way as the instructor guides you through the witnessing of your thoughts, patterns, feelings—what might be just under the surface.”   “I think accountants have just as much creativity as artists, it’s just that their mind uses their creativity in a much more formulaic way.”   “There’s a reason we say that the issues are in the tissues.”   “If you’re unsure, if you’re in that state of confusion, don’t do anything. Keep the stasis. Sooner or later that confusion is going to clarify, but only if you let that confusion stay confused. If you’re spinning, why would you take a step and start running in a certain direction? You want to cool the nausea, right the horizon, and then take a step forward before you gallup apace.”   “If I had quit back then because I was unhappy wiping down a stranger’s yoga mat, there’s absolutely no way I would have seen the dream come to fruition. At the core was the non-negotiable.”   “If we look back on that time where this picturesque image of success was created, did you have all of the information back then? Probably not.”   “The notion of failure and success just needs to be dissolved into what is. What is actually happening right now. And is that congruent with your being?”   RESOURCES FROM THIS EPISODE Mentioned: The Class by TT The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel Van der Kolk Carl Jung Sigmund Freud Mary Oliver John O’Donahue David Whyte The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer The Archetype Diet by Dana James Start With Why by Simon Sinek The Sea in You by David Whyte     Connect with Natalie: Website: The Class by TT Instagram: @thisisnatalie     LET’S CONNECT Website: www.bryannadee.com Instagram: @bryanna_dee Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bryannadee Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/bryannadee/

Today’s guest is very special, because unknowingly, she had a very fundamental role in the formation of this podcast. Because of the work that she is doing, I have been able to connect with my own intuition and spirit guides to make this podcast a reality. If it hadn’t been for the messages that Natalie Miles was putting out into our world, and my own little nudges from spirit and the life lessons along the way, I wouldn’t have put it all together – well, at least not as clearly and as quickly! Natalie Miles is an international Spiritual Guide, Psychic, Mentor and Entrepreneur. She has cultivated her life’s work in an esoteric industry with a legitimate business that grounds the spiritual realm in the now, but it wasn’t what she was always doing.   Natalie was born and raised in the U.K., connecting with her Spirit Guide at the age of five, Natalie’s gift was always a backdrop as she moved through life. At the age of sixteen, she truly began to develop her skills by attending small groups educating on improving intuition and psychic abilities. It was here where she unlocked her natural gifts working with Spirit to share messages with others. After working for 10 years in the film industry as a producer, she could no longer ignore the calling of her Spirit Guide and began working with Spirit full-time.  Natalie’s mission is to support ones spiritual journey by sharing, The Spirit Upgrade. This upgrade connects people with their guides –in other words, cheerleaders in the spiritual realm. Spirit guides help find the answers ones seek, and clear any blocks in the way. Working with guides will heal the past, and help people feel a sense of empowerment.  Natalie has been guided by Spirit to use her gifts to open the door and be the “upgrade” messenger, illuminating the light onto other people’s life paths. Her goal is to inspire people across the globe to connect with their own Spirit Guides, so they can feel more connected, each and every day, and continue an upgraded soul journey.  Natalie does this work through three major sessions: The Soul Upgrade, The Mediumship Upgrade, and The Past Life Upgrade, and either in-person or through telephone or via Skype. After all, she says, distance is no barrier for the Spirit! Spirit Guides will bring up exactly what needs to be discussed during that session and her clients are always taken aback that what comes through, is exactly what they needed to hear. Natalie does more than what most psychics and mediums do, she is a form of a life coach as well, where she offers an opportunity for souls to learn and grow. I’m excited and honoured to have Natalie on the Fempower podcast today, and it turns out it is episode 11, which if you follow angel numbers will know that it is the karmic Master Number 11 and symbolizes the principles of spiritual awakening and enlightenment, high energy, idealism, inspiration and intuition, illumination, visionary, enthusiasm, creative/creativity, self-expression and sensitivity, and mysticism. Number 11 tells us that to connect with our higher-selves is to know and live our soul mission and life purpose. Master Number 11 is usually called 'the Illuminator', 'the Messenger' or 'the Teacher' and relates to those who are here to be inspirational guiding lights, and their mission is to bring illumination to others and to help raise spiritual awareness. This wasn’t planned this way, as I’m just going with the flow, and yet it is so perfectly aligned. I bet Natalie will be smiling when she find out! I think you are really going to like this episode – it’s full of practical ways to grow your intuition, connect with your spirit guides, and in turn develop your self-awareness further which will enhance your confidence and lead to your empowerment – it truly is a chain reaction and it begins with these fundamental steps. And, you’ll have some fun along the way as this episode gets hijacked by one of my deceased loved ones! My grandfather shows up to play some tricks and have some fun with us. I’ve left it in there so you can see for yourself how we lost the connection, but everything kept recording so we could have the evidence of his playfulness – this normally doesn’t happen for me! Usually, if I lose the connection I lose the recording and yet somehow we were able to keep it all here. Thank you Grandpa! Natalie even goes into the details to clarify which of my three grandfathers it could be – and I definitely knew which one it was right from the outset. My grandfather even gives me a message when we ask if he has something to share. You are going to want to hear this. It is so fascinating and exactly on point. Natalie wouldn’t have known anything of this as we only spoke for the first time here. She is so sharp and in-tune and such an earth angel. We are lucky to have her on the show today! Enjoy this episode and may all the practical tools help you in your journey to enlightenment and empowerment so that you too may spread more of your light. On this episode of the Online Marketing Made Easy Podcast, I interviewed Natalie Sisson, also known as the Suitcase Enterpreneur. In 2006, Natalie left her home country of New Zealand and since then has been traveling the world and living out of a suitcase -- all while building a successful online business. On her blog, Natalie teaches creative ways to run a business from anywhere in the world, using outsourcing, along with online tools and social media. She's also written a new book about how to create freedom in business and adventure in life. In this episode, here’s what we’ll cover: How Natalie started with nothing but an idea and created a successful and profitable Facebook app What caused Natalie to cry herself to sleep at night and how she overcame it What it takes to make significant changes in your life business How to avoid undermining your progress How to know your special sauce and how to use it to your advantage How to get good feedback from those who know you well The two big things Natalie did to launch her book Natalie's 30-day blog challenge And so much more!
