Happy episode 20!! Woohoo!! I'm so excited to share today's episode with you, it's all about gratitude practices and the impact they have made on my health. If you've been listening for a little bit you've definitely heard about the rollercoaster my past month has been. I abruptly left my full-time job I had been at for 2 years and in the process lost friends + connections I had been very close with. I decided to pursue my own businesses full-time and made the necessary steps to launch Wholesome Agency today (!!). Along the way, especially in the beginning, I felt like I was purely in survival mode. I, for a moment, didn't see a way out or how I would get into a space of contentment. Due to these feelings I started making lists every night of what I was thankful for. I started sharing these and an friend + business connection informed me that what I was doing is called gratitude journaling. Fast forward to today, I am feel 80% back to myself and so much more grounded. I feel more in touch with the present moment and the negatives that can pop up each day don't bother me as deeply. I have a new appreciation for my situation and the life path the universe has put me on. I really don't think I would have made this progress without the practice of gratitude journaling. I talk about all of, the app I've been using to journal, how to be more present, and so much more. I hope you enjoy and while you're here, join my gratitude circle on Gratitude Plus -- I would love to have you there! Hey you wild women! Want to learn the secret to living a well-rounded life? Here it is… It's getting radically clear on what your ideal life looks like and how you can make more time space for the things that matter most to you. Many of us struggle to delegate tasks in our business or home lives because we feel guilty, or even feel like we're failing. In this episode, Geomyra and I discuss the importance of systems, how being well-rounded is different than the idea of balance, and why asking for help is a win-win for everyone involved. Plus, why this strategy just might be the key to better relationships, more productivity, and overall achievement. Geomyra's story is one of resilience and shows us how it's often our hardest moments that shape us into who we're meant to be. And how sometimes as humans, we need to sit in our mess before we can pick up the pieces and truly move forward. In her own words, at the end of a storm, there are plans for greatness on the other side. In this episode you will learn about: How to find out what you need to get more out of your life How to have more dates with your husband or kids How to cut the noise and nonsense so you can work smarter, not harder How to live a more well-rounded life on your terms What it means to be a wild woman: Showing up and living authentically. Treat your time with yourself and your loved ones like you'd treat business meetings - make it non-negotiable. How to work towards a well-rounded life: Envision what a well-rounded life looks like for you. Take an inventory of what you'd like to get done in a day. Strategically place it into your schedule. Eliminate what doesn't serve your vision of a well-rounded life. Limit your time with your distractions.
