The Luminous Procession leaders have given the group permission to rejoin with the rest of the caravan but even still, keep distance seems to be the better idea at least for today. As a new dawn breaks though, it's time to saddle up and get back to their duties. Recipes are created, feelings are explored, and contingencies are considered. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori Get on the road again. The ritual was interrupted. Whatever beings the group carries the influence of, they decided to try and reach out during the Luminous Procession's alignment process. With such a drastic and dangerous disruption, the caravan leaders obviously want to talk. But they give everyone time to catch their breath. Which also gives them time to have a few conversations. Options are given, visions are drawn, and motives are uncovered. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori consider the ramifications. This episode is going to take a slightly different format than most. This is something we did way back near the beginning of season one and thought it would be a good time to bring it back. We're going to take a short moment with each character to get their inner thoughts and personal considerations on the things that have happened recently. So join us Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori reflect. Anatrea's answers have proven to be frustrating to say the least. It's hard to tell someone they're doing something wrong when it also seems they've done everything by the book, so to speak. However, her interest in the data sphere may yet open up new avenues of information. Connections are affirmed, feelings are expelled, and I told you so's are uttered. Assurances that the Bellowheart call was harmless within the walls of Castle Aventur were in fact too good to be true. But rather than a towering creature made of teeth and tendrils, everyone is instead confronted by something much more terrifying. Poison is administered, creative tactics are employed, and leaders are sternly addressed. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori encounter the Bellowhearted. Now very unnerved, the party members met below deck to hear about Nehemiah's discovery concerning the doppelgangers. Given the tense situation onboard, they all decide to disembark at Wyrfall to avoid any further risks than necessary. So the group hunkers down until dawn and makes any final preparations the need before leaving the Red Wake in their wake. Gifts are given, poisons are discussed, and reassurances are given. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori have out stayed their welcome. Nehemiah is staring down a man that by all rights should not exist. But the identical person looking back at him clearly thinks the exact same thing. As they try to figure out what in the Ninth World is happening, tensions continue to rise in the rest of the crew. Histories are compared, theories are crafted, and deals are struck. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori try to connect the dots. It was only a matter of time before the choice to sail with a pirate crew turned violent. The crew of the Red Wake, eager to get a better payout than their last endeavor, has set their sights on a merchant barge heading their way along the river. But what they thought would be a quick and easy target turns out to be anything but. Markings are recognized, voices are recognized, and faces are, you guessed it, recognized. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori get in the middle of something odd. A few days on the water has done almost everyone a bit of good. Even though poor Haddock is a tad sea-sick, everyone else seems to have taken to some part of ship-living fairly well. The crew is an interesting sort and there are plenty of places to poke around. Rigging is utilized, the ship is examined, and friendship is attempted. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori settle in. Please be aware that Zann's audio is a little odd sounding in this episode due to some recording issues. It's still listenable but it'll sound different than usual. Passage aboard the Red Wake has been granted by Captain Ironthroat. The party settles in as the crew get the vessel ready for voyage. While choosing a ‘boat of ill-repute' was a good choice for discretion, will it be a good choice for their well-being? Rest is attempted, crew members are met, and someone is recognized. Companions are retrieved, pirates are conversed with, and sacrifices are made. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori set sail. Split up between different tasks, our concerned adventurers take steps to get out of Qi as fast as possible. While Jhori goes to retrieve their belongings, she realizes she left something very important behind. And as Smalren and Nehemiah search for safe transport up river, they realize that their passage might not coast what they originally anticipated. Companions are retrieved, pirates are conversed with, and sacrifices are made. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori secure their voyage. Everyone has escaped the pressure that had been building in one of Qi's most exclusive night clubs, but that doesn't mean they are out of trouble yet. In fact, leaving the city as soon as possible has become the utmost priority. While Jhori and Nehemiah are generally on edge given the night's events, Smalren is troubled with the realization that someone knows about her bespoke poison. Tasks are divided, transportation is sought, and heartfelt goodbyes are said. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori consider their position. The entirety of The Nest is locked down. The death and likely assassination of a wealthy merchant's son has given everyone whiplash from the joy and relaxation they had been feeling just moments previously. As groups around the club are questioned, our party of pleasure seekers have to take careful stock of their predicament. Investigations are kickstarted, theories are crafted, and accusations are whispered. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori consider their position. Lenore Zann is going 'Rogue'. Well, to be fair, she always has been a little bit. Best known for her iconic voice of Rogue in X-MEN: THE ANIMATED SERIES, Zann's career in Hollywood has been extensive, with incredible stories to tell. Now, with the resurgence of X-MEN '97, Zann finally has the opportunity to share her story with the world in her new memoire, A ROGUE'S TALE. In this 1on1, we speak to Zann about choosing moments from her life and what it means to be a 'rogue'.
Finding themselves at an exclusive, elevated club aptly called the Nest, the reunited friends take time for a night of letting loose a little bit. There's a little something for everyone here. Dancing for Jhori, drinks for Nehemiah, eavesdropping for Smalren, and plenty to keep the attention of their current companions. After everything they've endured, it's nice to just let go. And nothing could possibly go wrong at an upscale establishment high in the sky, right? A patron is affronted, the stars are read, and the dance floor sees some action. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori have a night on the town. Everyone has gotten their shopping needs out of the way so it's time to figure out the rest of the evening. Havi suggests going to the Whispering Posts to see what establishments come recommended by the Qi locals. Suffice to say, the posts do not disappoint. Whispers are heard, fine dining is decided, and memories are experienced differently. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori listen. After meeting up with Havi and making plans for the evening, everyone decides to do a little shopping. Qi is a massive city so starting near the markets for a place to stay seems like as good an idea as any. As the small group makes their way into the city proper they learn a little more about the city that calls itself the center of the world. There's a calm excitement that seems to have taken hold of all of them. Lodging is acquired, rumors are picked up, and friends are sought out. After taking a little time to recalibrate from everything involving Dremlin, our explorers have decided it time to go back home. But given the events they've left in their wake, it seems a wise idea to not take the same route back to Legam. They decide to make a stop in Qi, the largest and most advanced city in the Steadfast. This decision is mostly in pursuit of travel plans but seeing the young adventurers they met on the trip here is a big plus! Sights are seen, accommodations are sought, and new journeys are set out on. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori go to Qi. Sometimes recovery is just as hard as the fight and this is no exception. Even with Drumlin defeated, standing in the wake of his actions is devastating. Returning the memories held hostage is a prime concern but so is figuring out how to help those that the warlord had abused in captivity. Not to mention the thought of how the journey home will begin. Devices are tinkered with, memories are held dear and plans are made. Join us as Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori rest, recuperate and reconstruct . A request, or perhaps more of a demand, has been made of the group. Get rid of the interdimensional creatures terrorizing this site, and the data sphere voice known as Entrav can give some assistance. Even if they are a little perturbed by the situation, no one can argue that fewer threats would be a good thing. And while making their way toward Dremlin's camp, they encounter the perfect opportunity to start this side quest. Care is taken, blows avoided, and dimensions get a little weird. Join us as Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori face a different kind of butcher. Actor and Storyteller Lenore Zann Interview | The Brett Allan Show | A ROGUE'S TALE: A MEMOIR WATCH HERE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLxz7loI2pA&t=244s After this year's explosive success of Marvel's X-Men ‘97 on Disney+, the highly anticipated memoir of series star Lenore Zann (aka Rogue) is here. An award-winning actor, singer, writer, and four-term elected politician, Zann has crafted a stirring autobiography about overcoming multiple challenges while navigating life's journey during uncertain and dangerous times. Beloved by fans worldwide for her portrayal of the powerful, yet lonely superhero Rogue in the original X-Men: The Animated Series, Zann's own “origin story” is, like the sexy southern belle herself, super-charged - with lots of spice to go along with the “Sugah”! And, when personal tragedy inspired Zann's gut-wrenching performance in this year's Primetime Emmy-nominated episode Remember It, the universal outpouring of emotion by viewers “broke” the internet. Fans continue to share stories online and in person about how Zann's critically acclaimed performance as Rogue has helped shape their lives, giving them the strength to overcome their own fear, loss, and grief, as well as learning to accept themselves as they are. Inspired by these fans to tell her story to a wider audience, Lenore Zann presents A ROGUE'S TALE: A MEMOIR. It turns out that even if these cross-sectional devices are helpful, they're somewhat terrifying! Especially when there seems to be someone watching their journey. Progress is attempted, voices are met, and requests are made. Join us as Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori take on a side quest. Continuing on through the maze of rods and odd structures, our group is becoming increasingly worried about what they're encountering and how long it seems to be taking to get through to their destination.
