Qi is a massive city so starting near the markets for a place to stay seems like as good an idea as any. As the small group makes their way into the city proper they learn a little more about the city that calls itself the center of the world. There's a calm excitement that seems to have taken hold of all of them. Lodging is acquired, rumors are picked up, and friends are sought out. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori explore the city. After taking a little time to recalibrate from everything involving Dremlin, our explorers have decided it time to go back home. But given the events they've left in their wake, it seems a wise idea to not take the same route back to Legam. They decide to make a stop in Qi, the largest and most advanced city in the Steadfast. This decision is mostly in pursuit of travel plans but seeing the young adventurers they met on the trip here is a big plus! Sights are seen, accommodations are sought, and new journeys are set out on. Join us and Nehemiah, Smalren and Jhori go to Qi. Ebû Said el-Hudrî ve Câbir (r.a.e.)'den gelen rivayete göre Allâh Resûlü (s.a.v.) şöyle buyurmuştur: “Gıybet zinadan daha şiddetlidir.” Oradakiler “Ey Allâh'ın elçisi! Nasıl gıybet zinadan daha şiddetli olur?” dediler. Bunun üzerine Allâh Resulü (s.a.v.)
Sometimes recovery is just as hard as the fight and this is no exception. Even with Drumlin defeated, standing in the wake of his actions is devastating. Returning the memories held hostage is a prime concern but so is figuring out how to help those that the warlord had abused in captivity. Not to mention the thought of how the journey home will begin. Devices are tinkered with, memories are held dear and plans are made. Join us as Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori rest, recuperate and reconstruct . A request, or perhaps more of a demand, has been made of the group. Get rid of the interdimensional creatures terrorizing this site, and the data sphere voice known as Entrav can give some assistance. Even if they are a little perturbed by the situation, no one can argue that fewer threats would be a good thing. And while making their way toward Dremlin's camp, they encounter the perfect opportunity to start this side quest. Care is taken, blows avoided, and dimensions get a little weird. Actor and Storyteller Lenore Zann Interview | The Brett Allan Show | A ROGUE'S TALE: A MEMOIR WATCH HERE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLxz7loI2pA&t=244s After this year's explosive success of Marvel's X-Men ‘97 on Disney+, the highly anticipated memoir of series star Lenore Zann (aka Rogue) is here. An award-winning actor, singer, writer, and four-term elected politician, Zann has crafted a stirring autobiography about overcoming multiple challenges while navigating life's journey during uncertain and dangerous times. Beloved by fans worldwide for her portrayal of the powerful, yet lonely superhero Rogue in the original X-Men: The Animated Series, Zann's own “origin story” is, like the sexy southern belle herself, super-charged - with lots of spice to go along with the “Sugah”! And, when personal tragedy inspired Zann's gut-wrenching performance in this year's Primetime Emmy-nominated episode Remember It, the universal outpouring of emotion by viewers “broke” the internet. Fans continue to share stories online and in person about how Zann's critically acclaimed performance as Rogue has helped shape their lives, giving them the strength to overcome their own fear, loss, and grief, as well as learning to accept themselves as they are. Inspired by these fans to tell her story to a wider audience, Lenore Zann presents A ROGUE'S TALE: A MEMOIR. It turns out that even if these cross-sectional devices are helpful, they're somewhat terrifying! The interior of the Blade Interstice is confusing at best. Having a rough map of the area is helpful for sure, but that doesn't stop the things found between the walls any less perplexing. But finding Dremlin before more people forget who they are overrides much of the worry the group harbors about this place. Towers are investigated, devices are implanted, and vapes are encountered. Join us as Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori keep on traversing the maze. After gathering what little info they could have Dremiln's whereabouts in the area, the party heads north to a strange ruin called the Blade Interstice. Even though it's a short journey, it doesn't fail to be an interesting one. Important discussions are had, honking is heard, and quicksand is resolved. Join us as Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori keep on traveling. Gtharren is not quite what everyone expected. Not quite big enough to be a town and far more transient than most places they've visited. But if this is in fact where Dremlin was headed, there should be answers somewhere. Questions are answered, explorers are met, and pies are shared. Join us as Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori inquire around. Time is taken to assist Mordrias further by carefully removing crystals from his body. While it helps his situation, it does not cure all his memory loss. Without any more information on Dremlin's plans, everyone gears up to finish the trek to Gtharren. Crystals are broken, crystals are left alone, and crystals are observed. Join us as Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori arrive in Gtharren. It's high time to leave Dynafel. After gathering their custom purchases and restocking supplies, the party hits the road at a good pace. And as always travel proves to be more complicated than foreseen. Aneen are herded, someone in need reappears, and crystals are broken. Finally back at the Aneen & Far, the group makes plans to leave Dynafel first thing in the morning. But as they start to settle in for the night, some unfinished business is at the door. Everyone is in a bit of a pickle. Nehemiah has been pulled off the streets by masked assailants. Smalren has infiltrated the building in an attempt to help him. And Jhori has been trying to wrangle a newly hatched tetrahydra with the help of a reluctant Oben. All plans the party had for talking over recent events and leaving town as soon as possible seem to have been put on pause. Even trying to regroup doesn't go according to plan. Kidnappers are swindled, vegetarianism is contemplated, and drones are destroyed. Join us as Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori attempt to reconvene. X-Men '97 is an American animated television series created by Beau DeMayo for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the X-Men. It is a revival of X-Men: The Animated Series (1992–1997), continuing the story of the X-Men who face new challenges following the loss of their leader, Professor X. X-Men '97 is produced by Marvel Studios, via its Marvel Animation label, with DeMayo as head writer for the first two seasons and Jake Castorena as supervising director. Ray Chase, Jennifer Hale, Alison Sealy-Smith, Cal Dodd, J. P. Karliak, Lenore Zann, George Buza, A. J. LoCascio, Holly Chou, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Matthew Waterson, Ross Marquand, and Adrian Hough star as members of the X-Men. Sealy-Smith, Dodd, Zann, Buza, and Hough reprised their roles from the original series, as did Christopher Britton. Original series stars Catherine Disher, Chris Potter, Alyson Court, Lawrence Bayne, and Ron Rubin returned to voice new characters. The revival was first discussed in June 2019 and formally announced in November 2021, with DeMayo and Castorena attached. Chase Conley and Emi Yonemura also directed episodes. DeMayo was fired as head writer in March 2024 after completing work on the first two seasons. The series is the first X-Men project from Marvel Studios since the company regained the film and television rights to the characters. Animation was provided by Studio Mir and Tiger Animation, and is a modernized version of the original series' style. X-Men '97 premiered on March 20, 2024, with its first two episodes. The rest of the ten-episode first season was released weekly until May 15. A second season is in production and a third is in development.
The Slumbering Spectacle was truly a spectacle. And it seems as though Dremlin may have left his mark on even the most fanciful of experiences. Needing to catch each other up, everyone heads back to the Aneen and Far to talk. But it wouldn't be a game of Numenera if GM intrusions didn't throw a wrench into the works. Plans are updated, motherhood is achieved, and meat is left behind. Join us as Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori deal with somewhat unexpected circumstances. Introduction: In this episode, we delve into the profound journey of Mary Lou, a dedicated caregiver to her husband, the renowned artist and rocker, Nicholas ‘Nicky' Zann. Mary Lou candidly shares their story of navigating life with Lewy body dementia, shedding light on the challenges, resilience, and the importance of understanding and support. Key Points Covered: Understanding Lewy Body Dementia (LBD): Mary Lou describes how LBD differs from Alzheimer's, with fluctuating symptoms affecting memory and behavior. It's a condition affecting 1.4 million Americans and 11 million globally, though it remains relatively less known. The Caregiver's Perspective: Mary Lou emphasizes the need to meet the person with dementia where they are, suspending personal needs to prioritize theirs. Caregiving is described as improvisation, requiring adaptability and a willingness to accept failures. Lessons in Forgiveness and Vulnerability: She reflects on her book, “I Didn't See it Coming, Scenes of Love, Loss and Lewy Body Dementia,” as a journey of reconciliation with herself as a caregiver. Forgiveness and vulnerability are central themes, offering insights into the complexities of caregiving. Nicky's Messages and Final Moments: Mary Lou shares Nicky's enduring messages and the profound experience of understanding his needs in his final moments. She highlights the transformative potential of grief, turning it into catharsis. Raising Awareness and Encouraging Support: Mary Lou advocates for greater awareness of Lewy body dementia, urging celebrities and public figures to help shine a light on this condition. She underscores the importance of creating supportive communities for family caregivers. Notable Quotes from Mary Lou: “You have to join the person where they are, you can't expect them to come to you in their former state. It's just not possible.” “Suspend what you need and give them what they need.” “Grief doesn't have to be your nemesis, it can be your catharsis.” Closing Thoughts: Mary Lou concludes by emphasizing the moments of light and hope amidst the challenges of caregiving. Her story serves as an inspiration and a call to action for increased understanding and support for those affected by Lewy body dementia. Now with a few less shins burning holes in their pockets, everyone heads to the amphitheater to see what this performance by the Slumbering Spectacle entails. With the help of a large numenera device this troupe weaves the dreams of the audience members into performance. As our group steps into this surreal experience, they also uncover something a little unnerving. Emotions are deeply felt, memories are questioned, and spectators are rescued. Join us as Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori explore dreams. What's the best thing to do when you arrive in a new city? Shopping of course! And since Dynafel is known for its textiles, some new clothes are definitely on the list. It's also decided to check out the dream based performance troupe at some point. But that's going to have to wait till some shins are spent. Beautiful garments are tried on, technological vestments are purchased, and simple apparel is donned. How many ways can I say they bought a bunch of clothes? Join us as Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori go shopping. Having settled in just a bit, everyone does a little exploring. While some people are getting to know the city of Dynafel, others are investigating their traveling companion's motives. While Oben's help has been greatly appreciated, no one is quite sure if he is to be fully trusted. Rooms are snooped in, noodles are enjoyed, and helpful guides are acquired. We finally know the origin and purpose of the creatures that have been terrorizing the people of Mirath. Unfortunately, it was not as clean cut as anyone would have liked. Now armed with a tool to help identify cinomar duplicates in their midst, the group returns to the village to try and put an end to this entire problem. It proves to be both a diplomatic and moral quandary that no one is happy about facing. Meetings are called, duplicates are tracked down, and alternative options are hoped for.
