"...sister wounds have had a wide and vast impact on our ability to feel safe, whole and free. So we do need to do that healing work just as men need to heal in brotherhood." This week, I'm joined by Kylie McBeath as she talks about one of the deepest wounds that women have with one another, betrayal. She discusses that women have been sourcing their power and safety through men for generations, but there is a shift and women are currently breaking free from this. Kylie touches on how she builds a stable ground internally to feel more anchored within her own body and with her own connection to the earth which allows her to hold a higher bar of integrity; not only for herself, but everyone around her. For her, holding that bar of integrity is what leads to more liberation. "...even though it's sticky, even though not a lot of people want to meet that bar at times, I'm just like, that's the bar we get to hold when we feel really safe and grounded in our own selves is like, because really what happens is that re-embodiment, is re-sensitization process." Kylie's Bio: Kylie is the Co-Founder of the digital wellness community, Zura Health and the host of the Our Journey Home podcast. She is a writer, Earth guardian and mentor who supports humans in remembering who they are and their soul's purpose for being here at this time. In this episode, I talk with the lovely Kylie McBeath and as you’ll hear, it kind of blows my mind. Which in itself is an understatement. The transformation I experienced from integrating what she shared was quite profound and life-changing.Kylie is, well, simply a wonderful human. She is also a Mentor, Writer, Earth Guardian, Medicine Woman, Mystic, co-founder of Zura Health, and co-host of the Zura Health Podcast. This isn’t the first time I chatted with Kylie (it’s technically the 4th - but you’ll hear all about that in the episode), we also have another episode together that aired in 2019. Which, if you want to check out, is linked in the show notes.A few things we talked about today…The profoundly transformative initiation she went through in Sedona. Why it’s essential we reclaim the feminine principle. The importance of honoring the womb and how to start.Shame around and sexuality and sensuality. Why she went on a “No Man Diet” for five months. Why we’re so disconnected from our bodies and the repercussions of it.The (very common) survival relationship pattern she broke. How distorted sexual energy influences relationships. How the shadow masculine and feminine have been existing together. Why we judge the “woo-woo” and talk of connecting to the womb. How many of our spiritual models are rooted in patriarchy. Why support is so key when reconnecting to our body and womb. How women are reflections of Mother Earth and why we hold the bar of integrity. And MUCH, much more.As you’ll hear in my very excited response to Kylie’s beautiful wisdom, this episode holds so many activations for deep transformation. Plus, she’s just an awesome human.I hope you glean as much from it (and more) as I did.Patreon: patreon.com/realrebelpodcast Show Notes: realrebelpodcast.com/guest-episodes/kylie-mcbeath-2Your Host,Katie B

On this week's episode, I am hosting Kylie McBeath, a vibrant, abundant and deeply wise and intelligent woman. Kylie is unapologetic about her purpose and the truth that she embodies to fulfill it. Our time together takes us deep into the origins of our human existence, beginning with our first families and the patterns, beliefs, and teachings that we receive from it to navigate our world. We get into the richness of what happens when we move from survival strategies and enmeshment to initiation into individuation. This includes the healing journey of sourcing anything from the external (think perfectionism, being "the good girl", constantly high achieving, wanting to be "cool" and "chill"). We recognize that much of the fears that we may operate under are inherited, and we are invited, at the latest during a big painful ending (or rupture, as she aptly describes them) to examine and investigate how we got here, and how we wish to create our lives so that we do not need to revisit this place again. Big painful endings are, in fact, initiations, and they have the power to break us open to our truth. Through a process of moving into deep trust from within, we can find our way into liberated love, both for self, and for others. Ruminate with us in all the joy that comes from sharing and exchanging. There is SO much. Show Notes: Find Kylie on Instagram @beingisbeautiful or on her website www.kyliemcbeath.com. Kylie a Certified Health Coach, Emotional Expert, Co-Founder of Zura Health, Podcast Host, Speaker and Writer. This is Kylie's second time on the show and we dive in real deep, real fast. We talk about our thoughts on the nature of feminine power, the importance of community and interdependence, and what an embodied & intentional path to self-trust and intuition looks like. We also discuss why you can't actually consent to anything if you don't know and trust yourself, the anger and grief-laden process of recognizing you've confused abuse with love, and why we both feel that if there's going to be a revolution, it will be one grounded in self-knowing and regulation. In this episode, Cat shares her experience with de-programming the imposed colonial mentality as a Latinx American Woman and relearning her truth through accessing the wild feminine nature. Cat gives an overview of the push & need for decolonization by Indigenous people and people of color, specifically in America, and explains how this parallels the need to de-condition and reclaim sovereignty of the wild feminine. Our guest today is Kylie McBeath, a truth-telling, eternally curious introvert who guides women through powerful life transitions and supports them through the process of self-discovery and rebirth. She is someone who deeply inspires us and shares incredibly important content. As the co-founder of Zura Health — a digital, integrative health platform — Kylie helps lead and support individuals who want to become trauma-informed, justice-informed health coaches. She believes we all have the power to become the hero of our own health journey. In this episode, we have a deep conversation about overcoming shame, acknowledging the truth, sitting in our shadows, and reclaiming our power. Kylie shares about her own journey in healing ‘the mother wound,’ becoming radically committed to living in alignment with her soul, and learning to prioritize her intuition, instinct, and self-trust. She offers wisdom on how we can open ourselves up to growth, healing, and having a shift in perspective; why shadow work is imperative to overcoming the wounds that keep us from deep, intimate, trustworthy relationships; and how we can begin to live more proactively, mindfully, and intentionally. If you want real life examples of what it takes, looks and feels like to re-parent, heal, transcend the destructive behaviours that kept us safe as children but sacrifice our true selves as adults, this is your podcast. Kylie McBeath is the Co-Founder of Zura Health, Writer, Emotional Wellness Coach, and a spokesperson for soul. She is committed to uncovering the tools, technology, and ethos to live a life at the bleeding edge of our potential. Her mission is to create a world that is in harmony with all of life's expressions by simply being her raw, vulnerable, and human AF self. What I feel you'll vibe the most with in this episode: The road out of sabotage is liberating, but it comes with your whole body having to go through the motions of fear and "death". It's a process which we face on a human level as we collectively shift from powerlessness to reclamation Examining "death" and our survival strategies that are no longer in alignment with our highest Stepping out of punitive consciousness and cultivating practical practices to support this growth Tools and techniques that you can use right now to help you sustain your new choices and beliefs when it feels scary and impossible Exploring how boundary setting is a process that requires action and consequence not just verbal explanation Unpacking the different ways in which our feeling 'not enough' unless we receive or do X, Y and Z can show up in the masculine (yang) and feminine (yin) imbalance That we are all human, supporting and navigating this life and how powerful it can be to learn the lesson of asking for support, being radically honest with yourself and most of all, how to do this This episode is so personal because well, it's something we all go through as humans and both Kylie and I are real about this. We both know that expressing out own journeys as well as sharing advice, tools and techniques to do this powerful work yourself are equally as important. On this episode of the Real Rebel Podcast Band of Rebels edition, we're doing things a bit differently. For the span of the next 6 weeks, I’ll be asking 18 Rebels the same question. “What advice would you give your 20-year-old-self?” The panel of Real Rebels for this episode are Jess Dales from Jess Wandering, Kylie McBeath from Zura Health, and Sheleana Aiyana from Rising Woman. Each of their answers was taken from the end of their previous episodes when I ask them this question in the rapid-fire segment. The Band of Rebels series was designed to act as a platform for the voices of the RRP Community. So often we listen to a podcast and don't ever connect with fellow listeners. We also live in a world where we're judged by the number of followers we have. Often times we only end up hearing the wisdom and voices of those who have large social followings. This isn't to say those humans are lovely humans, I just feel it's important to branch out. Just because someone has 10 followers doesn't mean they don't know some good sh*t worth sharing. I firmly believe that we all have a deep inner-wisdom, regardless of the number of followers we have to our name. The Band of Rebels series puts the mic in the hands of people you might not otherwise hear from while simultaneously connects you lovely listeners with other listeners whose wisdom might just be the remedy you needed. Lots of love! Your Host - Katie B

On this episode, I talk with Kylie McBeath Writer, Health Coach, Emotional Expert, Speaker, Co-Founder of Zura Health, and Host of the Zura Health Podcast. And as far as I’m concerned she is a source of a lot of light in this world. We recorded this episode for the second time due to a few technical hiccups on my end. So I was more than happy when she invited me into her home to record round two. Not only do we have a lot of fun in this episode, we also talk about a lot of really important and often touchy subjects. The main one being money and the changes Kylie has had to go through in order to create some major shifts in her relationship to it. We also riff on things like burnout, slow living, relationship power dynamics, and much more.

It's not ever about the body In this special edition podcast, the roles have reversed and I am the interviewee. Kylie Mcbeath, co-founder of the holistic digital program Zura Health holds the mic this time as we role-reverse - you will recognise the wisdom of her voice from my most recent podcast episode (#23), Empowering Your Needs + Breaking Through. I share loads about my experience in the health and fitness worlds that ultimately led me to the work I do today, and how something like emotional eating goes deeper than our relationship to food. Time and again I've seen the one thing that can crush an otherwise empowered and successful person: lack of emotional awareness, mental empowerment, and overall self-connection. I can't stress these factors enough. If you're not seeing the results that you want from your self love affirmations, endless diets, and strict eating and exercise regimes, this message is for you. By results, I don't just mean physical, I'm talking about achieving a deep sense of emotional fulfilment and love within. If you want to look in the mirror and feel gratitude and freedom, you must learn how to work with your mind and emotions so you are no longer their servant. We discuss (to name a few): The core cause behind our unhealthy relationship to food and our body A question to ask yourself that may radically change your life An easy-peasy meditation practice The core human needs Disconnection = not living an alignment Tools and action steps to cultivate deeper connection to self Identifying our core values Emotional resiliency and why it's so effing important Understanding emotional data Discipline, self connection, and emotional resilience are REQUIRED LIFE SKILLS if you want to let go of control, radiate with confidence, and find the happiness that you deserve. Today's guest, Kylie McBeath is the Co-Founder of Zura Health, Writer, Emotional Wellness Coach, and a spokesperson for soul. She is committed to uncovering the tools, technology, and ethos to live a life at the bleeding edge of our potential. From inner struggles to moments of complete bliss, Kylie invites us to the depths of our own shadow so that we can integrate, accept, and become the most aligned version of ourselves. In this conversation, we get up close and intimate with the power of our emotions, and what the heckneeds even are. Ky gets real about her own weaknesses and strengths and the reality that the work never ends – because that's where the adventure is. Fulfilment is found when we play at our edge. Her mic drop advice right at the end is amazing and I share a little real life breakthrough from an experience I had with an angry man in a sauna… We covered all of this and heaps more: The perfect world we grew up with could sabotage our perfect adult life How our relationship with our parents can write our future Dealing with darkness How to get yourself unstuck How to have heart-centered anger The difference between being overpowering and being powerful Why going against our values is not about being a “bad person” How to “do the work” and shift your life Understanding spiritual bypassing Learning emotional intimacy How resisting, denial and being stuck in our story affects our relationships and our life You don't have to break down to break through Kylie is a breath of fresh air in this realm of work. She's honest about her own journey of unpacking her stories while holding a refreshing perspective on getting intimate with our emotions without getting entangled in them. She is a powerhouse and I hope you love this interview as much as I loved having this conversation! One of my all time favorite humans is on the pod! This episode is all about: the fear of being seen, the pressures of being in a “visible” relationship (being an Instagram power couple), perfectionism, not feeling credible in the health and wellness space, expectations in relationships, identity in relationships, shattering, the danger of being selfish to heal your own emotional pain, the upper limit problem. BIO: Kylie McBeath is a certified holistic health coach, lifestyle writer, and the co-founder of Zura Health - an online holistic wellness program & platform. After a few catalyzing events in her life (divorce, separation from family), Kylie felt that what was truly important, if we are to heal & reduce human suffering, was to look at the source of where our discomfort stemmed— being the stories & environments that shape our lives. Understanding those stories and working on healing them treats the condition at its source. Kylie cultivates a private practice where she creates a safe space for her clients to heal and grow, by addressing the deep emotional ice burgs that exist beneath the surface of this human experience. THINGS WE MENTION: • Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski • State of Affairs by Esther Perel • Wild Feminine by Tami Lynn Kent TRUTH BOMBS: • "When you feel trapped, when you don’t see a way out, you kind of just say, 'screw it, let me blow this thing up.'" • "I just heard, 'you created this whole thing because you were afraid.' And trying to create this whole external feeling of security ended up imploding my whole life." • "Honor and accept your path, but when you know better, do what you can to get out of your old patterns."
