Join me and my guest Rocky Lalvani as we talk about the perception of money that most entrepreneurs have and struggle with having. In this episode, Rocky shares the behavioral psychology side of finance and the principles that have helped his many clients understand the true harmony they need to have with their money and business. He believes in the importance of talking about money at a young age, address what money is to one's life, and embrace the essence of believing in success in order to truly achieve it. Welcome, and enjoy! In this episode you will learn:What mindset can make a lottery winner go broke?Address the limiting belief that's holding you back from your success. The Principles of Profit First. You got rich, now what? The importance and effect of loving what you do.About Rocky Lalvani:Rocky was shocked to learn most business owners don't look at their financial reports. It has to do with the mindset around money and also fear and shame. When he realized how much of a problem this was, he knew his purpose was to help business owners be profitable. As a certified Profit First Professional, Rocky helps business owners put Profit First, so they have the fuel to build the business and life of their dreams. He changed the standard GAAP equation from Sales - Expenses = Profit to Sales - Profit = Expenses. By putting Profit First, business owners focus on what matters in their business and cut expenses that don't provide value.Rocky started with nothing when his parents immigrated to the United States when he was two years old, and his parents were in their 40's. It was his parents' second time starting over in life when they moved to the US to experience the American dream. Despite a lot of struggles and his mom passing away when he was 7, he has achieved financial success and wants to share all that he has learned along the way so others can achieve success much faster.Connect with Rocky Lalvani on:Website: https://profitcomesfirst.comhttps://richersoul.comPodcast: https://profitanswerman.libsyn.comLinkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/rocky-lalvani/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/rocky.lalvani.9Twitter: https://twitter.com/rockylalvaniInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/richer.soul

I started The Eagle Institute to help business leaders and entrepreneurs learn the skills that helped me the most on my business and personal journey. These are meditation and self-healing skills. I was originally asked to start teaching others when going through some extremely emotionally and mentally challenging circumstances. When telling the story of some recent experiences in a mindful and calm manner to a group of my colleagues, a few of them asked me, “How can you tell that story so calmly? I would be in the hospital from so much stress.” “My meditation practice,” I replied. “It gives me the skills to stay neutral and not get caught up in the drama. It also helps me to learn from and heal the parts of me that created these circumstances in the first place.” A few of those people were my first clients. “I need to learn that, better yet, so does my executive team." Since that time, I have added additional meditation and personal healing techniques that allow practitioners to make changes quickly. The results have been outstanding. Clients have healed issues, whether stress and burnout, or personal growth issues in less than a year when they had been struggling with the same issues often for decades. I am personally certified as an advanced yoga and pranayama teacher, which I completed 18 years ago. Since that time, I have trained in Mindfulness, Vajrayana, psychic healing, and Ho'onoponopono. Combined in all disciplines, I have more than 11,000 hours of experience to date. I completed this practice and training at the same time as founding and / or running seven different businesses. ~ You can find Kira Leskew on: ●    Website - https://theeagleinstitute.com/●    Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/c/Theeagleinstitute/videos●    Intuition Training: https://theeagleinstitute.com/intuition-training-2020/●    Breath Practice (Pranayama): https://theeagleinstitute.com/breath-practice-for-stress/●    Midlife Crisis & Erasing Your Karma: https://theeagleinstitute.com/help-my-midlife-crisis/●    LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/kira-leskew-34419118●    Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kira.leskew

It's a skill that not all people have! The developments that automation can drive.Enabling more opportunities for charities during the pandemic. ~ About Jody Steinhauer: Fueled by my entrepreneurial passion and commitment to helping others, I founded an award-winning discount wholesale & promotional products company and a national charity focusing on giving back to my local community and across the country. This was the catalyst for our new social enterprise Kits for a Cause.I started The Bargains Group with the goal of helping retailers save money on wholesale clothing and accessories. 29 years later, The Bargains Group has grown into an award-winning company famous for our $2.00 t-shirts; but now offers over 50,000 custom promotional products and other non-branded items at up to 80% off.I live by the philosophy “giving back makes great business sense” which led me to found the charity, Engage and Change. Engage and Change is focused on good people working together for the good of people. Together we've mobilized 1,000s of corporate volunteers to pack thousands of survival kits and donated millions of bottles of water to the homeless community.Kits for a Cause was created because there was a void that existed between non-profit organizations and the corporate world. Our social enterprise matches companies who want to do good, but have no clue where to start, to a local non-profit that aligns with their mission and company core values. Kits for a Cause engages group by providing them with everything they need to host a Kit packing event in their own space. We send everything a group needs to pack custom Kits for the charity and support them in planning for the event with our toolKit. Do you close, continue, or pivot? ~ About Vince Fowler: I help business owners and entrepreneurs to accelerate and amplify the impact they make in the world. How? Let's talk about you, first. You have a business or two. Maybe more. You, and those you've inspired to work with you, work your backside off. You know what you do makes an impact in the community - you aspire to make it bigger. If you're somewhat early in your entrepreneurial journey, while you're very competent in what you do and the industry you're in, you acknowledge there's a gap in knowledge. As gritty, determined and resilient as you are, the gap in knowledge isn't lost on you... and you're willing to work with someone to close it.If you're experienced in your entrepreneurial career, you're more than competent, your very savvy about business, you're an industry leader and your business(es) is already making an impact. Your challenge isn't the absence of business acumen, nor strategy or a strategic network. You're challenge... managing the narrative and second-guessing the comes with every high performing leader.Whether you're the first example or the second, or you're somewhere in between, what's consistent is you aspire to accelerate and/or amplify the impact your business makes in the community, the region, and beyond. While I understand the overall mechanics of business - how money is made, profits are earned, and how social and economic factors can play a role in a company and/or industry - I also understand how your emotions and thoughts can affect on the way you behave and lead in the midst of opportunity, crisis, or operational uncertainty.~ You can find Vince Fowler on…Website: https://www.vincefowler.ca/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/vincefowler/Twitter: https://twitter.com/vincefowlerFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/VincentAFowler/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/vincefowler/

Find out how you can get out of the old factory way of thinking! In this episode, you'll learn: The drive to focus more on virtual businesses in the new factory way of thinking. How most business owners tell the same story about their companies. They define their business on their product! Finding your new niche. Are there businesses that are unable to do that? Can you immediately start on that change your business needs? Learning how to adapt. Something terrible can always happen! ~ About Bill Bishop: In his teenage years, Bill Bishop was dead set against a career in marketing. His parents operated a small marketing company and to save money, they often used Bill as free labor in advertising and PR programs. At the age of six, he was cast as "The OFF Boy" in a series of commercials for the famous insect repellant. At age 14, they dressed him up in a frog outfit to promote a local retail mall, followed by a humiliating stint in a pink bunny suit. These indignities, along with many others, made Bill swear he would never pursue marketing as a career. Yet, in his early 20s, Bill was thrust back into the marketing world when he won a waiter contest by selling 1,400 lobsters. This seminal event was so inspiring and lucrative that Bill concluded he actually loved marketing and decided to start his own marketing company. Since that time, Bill and his team of coaches have helped more than 10,000 entrepreneurs in dozens of industries around the world develop and market innovative BIG Ideas. Today, Bill is the CEO of The BIG Idea Company and the creator of The BIG Idea Adventure™, an advanced coaching program that helps entrepreneurs grow their business by creating, packaging, and promoting BIG Ideas. He is also the founder of The New Economy Network, and the inventor of the popular board game Quibberish®: The Paraphrase Puzzle Game. In addition, Bill is the author of nine books including How To Sell A Lobster (now sold in 25 countries in 12 languages), The Problem With Penguins, Beyond Basketballs, Return of The Lobster, and Global Marketing For The Digital Age. He was also the author of Strategic Marketing For The Digital Age (1996), the first book published about e-commerce and Internet marketing. He recently published his new book The New Factory Thinker: Re-Wire Your Mind For Success In A Disrupted Marketplace. Join me and my guest, Alan Lazaros, dive deep into helping business owners master their numbers and scale. Alan is a performance business and fitness coach, helping people become the best at what they do, doubling (and even tripling) down on what's creating the most value for the people they serve. In this episode, you'll learn: The value of influence and how you can utilize it to your advantage. Looking for entertainment versus equipping yourself for the future. Being clear on who you want to be and reverse engineering to figure out your goals. Viewing businesses as mediums to help customers, employees, and the environment. Getting into a resourceful state when you're in fear. ~ About Alan Lazaros: Years ago at age 26, after being involved in a nearly fatal car accident, Alan questioned everything. His father passed away in a car accident at age 28 when he was only 2. So this car accident really shook his snow-globe… He questioned everything. What if that was it? Did I live a life true to myself? How courageously did I fight for what I believe in? How fiercely did I love? Not liking his answers and filled with regret, he decided to change forever. Today, Alan's a Professional Speaker, Peak Performance Business Coach and Consultant, and the Co-host of The Hyper Conscious podcast. Between Speaking, Podcasting, Coaching & Consulting, Alan has clocked and tracked thousands of hours inspiring, motivating and educating others on how to master their systems and design a magnificent life on their own terms. Alan believes that life is about choices. He grew up his entire life hearing stories about his father, and he can tell you from experience that how you die isn't going to matter. What's going to matter is how you chose to live. ~ You can find Alan Lazaros on...
