As we celebrate two hundred and fifty years of freedom in America, it is good to pause and reflect on the blessings of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Every July 4th is filled with parades, picnics, and people enjoying freedoms we often take for granted. Fireworks may light evening skies, but do we truly understand the fragility of freedom or our role in preserving it? Dr. James (Jim) Garlow, Linda's guest in this episode, discusses historical truths from our nation's founders and how their ideologies and ideas influence our lives today. He also offers an exciting opportunity to learn about our history and governmental system – especially as seen through a Biblical lens – through a program called More Than Fireworks. Designed for individual or group participation, the More Than Fireworks series can be used in families or businesses to bring awareness and understanding regarding the incredible blessings and enormous responsibilities we have as American citizens. The series starts July 4, so be sure to listen to this episode and share with friends. What is the Electoral College and how does it preserve states' rights and protect the votes of American citizens? Some media pundits and activists are calling for "national popular vote" reforms. What would those changes mean to our country and to freedoms we cherish? Harry Roth, Director of Outreach at Save Our States, joined Linda to discuss this important topic. Harry shared historically grounded and constitutionally sound insights into how the Electoral College protects minority rights, prevents regional domination, and ensures that small and large states have a voice in presidential elections. The Electoral College provides a stabilizing force to ensure states' rights and citizen voices are protected. A clear understanding of the importance of this process is essential for every American who cares about the impact of their vote on the future of our country. This week, I'm joined by Jermaine Jones, visionary founder of Jones Global Group and a recognized leader in enterprise risk and strategic talent selection. Jermaine shares his insights on common pitfalls sales professionals encounter during account transitions, and gives actionable strategies for aligning account plans with customer objectives. We also discuss his favorite tools and methodologies for key account managers and why he believes that stakeholder mapping is a crucially important part of the process.    Outline of This Episode   [00:00] Key Account vs. Regular Account [01:26] Common mistakes organizations make in defining key accounts [02:45] Importance of diagnosis before prescription in consultative selling [03:31] Use of a closed loop system and Ansoff Matrix  [04:39] How to tailor communication for different decision-makers [06:16] 4D task prioritization tool [12:04] Finding a Zone of Possible Agreement (ZOPA) to protect margins and reduce risk   Moving Beyond Revenue Organizations often misclassify accounts by prioritizing revenue rather than focusing on profit or the return on time invested. Jermaine references the Pareto Principle, the well-known 80/20 rule, and explains that "80% of your profitable sales come from 20% of your customers". A key account isn't simply about large volume; it's an account where your domain expertise fundamentally shifts the client's profitability. To identify strategic partners, sales leaders have to calculate return on time invested and examine how their influence impacts the client's bottom line. Without this, accounts remain routine and are a missed opportunity for strategic growth.   Rethinking Relationship Management Transitioning from a transactional sales approach to effective key account management is fraught with pitfalls. The most common mistake is staying stuck in a perpetual "hunter" mindset. Salespeople fail because they skip the prescription before the diagnosis." The sales process is a little like medicine, where selling becomes 'malpractice' if you pitch solutions before properly understanding the client's needs via thorough discovery. The path to success lies in shifting focus. Account managers should embrace a consultative approach, building trust and acting as advisors rather than mere vendors.   Aligning with Client Objectives Jermaine recommends using closed-loop goal execution and the Ansoff Matrix to identify opportunities for market penetration and product development. He emphasizes aligning one's talent and resource supply chain to support the client's expansion and adapt quickly as objectives evolve. Critical to this approach is ensuring plans are dynamic—active tools shaped by real-time feedback and shifting environments rather than static documents filed away and forgotten. Effective plans rely on the 70/20/10 development model, so you're continuously adapting based on 70% real-world experience and market feedback.    The Power of Stakeholder Mapping Stakeholder mapping prevents communication style bias, for instance, pitching with enthusiasm to a data-driven CFO is a sure way to lose trust if the presentation lacks concrete analysis. To gain access to senior decision makers, authority and social proof are key: bringing rigorous, certified data positions the seller as an invaluable source of insight rather than a time-waster.   Essential Tools and Methodologies for Key Account Managers According to Jermaine, what sets top account managers apart is mastery of three things. First, understanding and employing the five pillars of sales success, with particular emphasis on self-awareness and domain expertise. Technology and AI are no substitute for deep industry knowledge. Second, the 4D task tool prioritization (Do it, Delegate, Date, Delete) ensures efficiency does not replace effectiveness—the real goal is to do the right things, not just do things right. Third, value-based motivation statements open every executive interaction with a clear, credible promise, establishing technical trust and ensuring every conversation is purposeful.   Resources & People Mentioned The Pareto Principle Ansoff Matrix    Connect with Jermaine Jones Jermaine Jones on LinkedIn  Connect With Paul Watts    LinkedIn Twitter    Subscribe to SALES REINVENTED Audio Production and Show Notes by PODCAST FAST TRACK https://www.podcastfasttrack.com

From integrating collision, mechanical, and glass into a true one-stop model, to staying on the leading edge of training and technology, to building deep, strategic partnerships that actually move the business forward.   And that's really where we're going to spend time today: partnerships. Not just vendors, not just suppliers, but true partners like AkzoNobel who contribute to training, process improvement, and growth.   What should you expect from your partners? And just as importantly, are you actually leveraging them the way top operators do? This is a conversation about legacy, evolution, and the idea that great businesses aren't built alone. Let's dive in.   Connect with Mike: https://schoonoverbodyworks.com/ https://www.facebook.com/schoonoverbodyworks

Turn your executive assistant into a true strategic partner- not just task support. In this video, I break down the 4-step framework I've used to move an executive assistant from reactive task taker to proactive strategic partner. I share the mistakes I made early on as a CEO, how that limited both me and my EA, and what changed once I started giving real ownership over inbox, calendar, and priorities. I also walk through the exact tools and rhythms that helped me get back 20–40 hours a week, protect my energy, and create more leverage inside the business. If you're a CEO who feels like you're still the bottleneck, this will show you how to build an EA relationship that gives you real freedom instead of just more delegation. Politicians plan for the next election. Statesmen plan for the next generation. Strategic short-term thinking may help win elections, but long-term thinking is needed to preserve culture and protect our God-given rights as outlined in the Constitution. Our education system has often failed to teach basic skills and critical thinking needed for successful employment, leadership, and responsible citizenship. Preparing young people to lead our nation wisely cannot be left to government.  Many parents realize this and choose to educate children at home. With Linda to discuss this growing trend (and how it affects the workplace) is Robert Bortins, CEO of Classical Conversations, an organization serving homeschool families worldwide. They discuss the decline of public education, the rise of home schooling, the demand for home educated students in the workplace, and the need for employers to promote quality educational opportunities for all employees and their families.    ©Copyright 2026, Prosperity 101, LLC __________________________________________________________ For information about our online course and other resources visit: https://prosperity101.com To order a copy of Prosperity 101 – Job Security Through Business Prosperity® by Linda J. Want to know the difference between leaving your consulting or coaching success up to chance or creating with strategic intention? Today on the Consulting Matters podcast, we're getting into the differences between getting clients and building a business and standout brand with my guest and client, Leslie Faircloth. For a lot of us, we get into consulting or coaching after leaving our jobs because we have a generous network who as soon as they hear of our availability, they are introducing us to people who could use our expertise (or maybe hire us themselves) And then at some point we realize, while this is great for now, we know that this isn't enough to create the sustainable success we need to go all in our consulting or coaching business. That's exactly what happened with my client Leslie, who instantly after leaving her job as a director of small business programs with the navy was getting people wanting to work with her. She got professional photos taken, and put up a website. It seems like it should be enough, right? For her, it wasn't. What was missing? The strategic intention and brand foundation underneath her expertise. If you're an aspiring, new or even seasoned consultant or coach looking for the strategic path, a thriving business, clients and impact, this is the episode for you. In this episode, you'll hear: Why “people already want to work with me” isn't enough to build a sustainable business What happens after the initial wave of referrals and interest starts to level off The shift from being in demand… to building a business that consistently creates it As you listen, notice the shift Leslie made in how she thinks, speaks, and shows up. Then go take a look at her website: https://lesliefairclothconsulting.com/ It's a clear example of what happens when your brand and positioning finally match the level of work you're here to do. For decades, climate alarmists have used fear to convince and coerce people into submission regarding business operations and lifestyle choices. Years ago, we were bombarded with messages on global freezing and fear propaganda filled the media – until data showed otherwise. Then messaging switched to proclaim the threat of global warming. Repeated threats of worldwide deaths convinced the public to abide by choice-limiting regulations that altered lifestyles until once again - data showed otherwise. Now it is all just referred to as "climate change" – which somehow gives excuse to limit freedom, geoengineer weather, and regulate every aspect of life under global control. In this episode, Linda interviews Marc Morano, veteran journalist from ClimateDepot.com. Many businesses hire agencies to execute tasks: build a campaign, design an ad, launch a website. But the strongest agency relationships go beyond simple execution. A truly strategic agency sees itself as a partner in growth, focused on outcomes like revenue, customer acquisition, and brand positioning rather than just delivering assets. For Littlefield Agency, that partnership means asking “why” before saying “yes.” By understanding the real business objective, we can recommend the right solution and push back when we don't feel like something will move the needle. Strategic partners also think beyond individual campaigns, looking at the customer journey, competitive landscape, and the metrics that actually drive business growth. For us, these are also the best, most collaborative and rewarding relationships we have.So give this week's episode a listen and ask yourself, "does my agency act like an order taker or strategic partner?" If your answer is the latter, you got yourself a good one!See you next week for more Little Talks.— Sam, Roop, Claudia, and ChelseaTell us what you think!

A very serious threat to freedom is rising in our nation. Many people have not heard of, nor do they understand how adherents to Sharia Law want to change our culture, legal system, and ultimately our entire system of government. They have openly admitted such desires and are working diligently throughout the country to accomplish their goals. In this episode, Linda interviews policy expert, Frank Gaffney, to discuss the need for all citizens to be aware and informed on this matter. Frank also provides time-sensitive information for people in Texas who have an opportunity to express opposition to Sharia Law and show support for our Constitution through voting in a special election on March 3, 2026. (Early voting has already started.) Proposition 10 is a simple ballot proposal stating opposition to Sharia Law, and if passed it will send a message to Texas and the nation that we want our Constitution to remain the law of the land. Outside the box. Maverick. Independent thinker. These terms are often over-used in our society, so much so that they almost become generic. However, every entrepreneur understands the very personal application and meaning of each word. To forge new paths, we must embody those definitions without fear. This episode, in which Linda interviews author, financial policy expert, and successful entrepreneur, Ziad K. Abdelnour, is a broad look at what it takes to achieve success – financially and personally – and how business leaders can positively impact our culture to foster human flourishing and freedom. Don't miss thought provoking comments about political changes in New York City, shifts in culture over past decades, and the perspective of it all through his immigrant eyes and experiences.  ©Copyright 2026, Prosperity 101, LLC __________________________________________________________ For information about our online course and other resources visit: https://prosperity101.com To order a copy of Prosperity 101 – Job Security Through Business Prosperity® by Linda J. In a world where the pace of change is compressed into weeks vs years, we can't help but consider how to stay relevant and on top of innovation so as to not be outpaced.  The AI conversation in the broader marketplace is centered around models, tools and code however in the boardroom and breakrooms, the real story is anchored in the human factor.  How to remain relevant, add value, drive change to compliment artificial intelligence vs be replaced by it.  For many, the underlying unease has little to do with algorithms. It's about security, identity, and whether they can adapt fast enough to thrive in whatever comes next.  That's why this episode of The Reboot Chronicles lands with such urgency. Rising tides lift all boats, and effective leadership raises standards of excellence in every sphere of influence. Are you a mission-minded leader? What is your mission?  For many leaders, their mission is to gain more money, power, or fame. While that may indicate success in the eyes of others, it can also lead to emptiness, division, and despair.  Money cannot buy true purpose, unity, or freedom. However, there is a rising tide of business leaders choosing to focus on mission over money, service over selfishness, and purpose over pride. They are growing in roles as servant leaders – the most effective kind. In this first episode of 2026, Linda interviews Krystal Parker, Founder and President of the U.S. Christian Chamber of Commerce, to discuss the rising tide of business leaders who view their role in the marketplace as a calling and mission. They are crossing cultural divides and bringing unity to diverse cross-sections of business and culture. Legal shouldn't be the brake pedal on your mission. We sit down with two seasoned leaders—Anne Garcia, SVP and General Counsel at The Ohio State University, and Trent Stechschulte, Chief Legal Officer at I Am Boundless—to show how legal and compliance can be the engine for trust, speed, and sustainable growth. From personal paths that span litigation, healthcare, and university governance to building departments from scratch, they reveal what great counsel actually does: translate dense rules into workable steps and align decisions with culture and strategy. We unpack the real remit of legal teams—governance, contracts, risk management, crisis navigation—and how a “pathfinder” mindset replaces the old “office of no.” Anne and Trent highlight the power of early involvement, especially when stakes are high and reputations are on the line. Compliance gets the spotlight it deserves: investigations, auditing, corrective actions, and the culture that encourages reporting without fear. We explore why under-investment invites silence, retaliation, and costly enforcement, and how boards can use benchmarks and transparent metrics to fund what truly protects the mission. If you're a nonprofit executive, board member, or program leader, you'll walk away with practical steps to stay proactive: Enjoy the conversation—and if it sparks an idea, share it with your team. The temptation to get something for nothing, whether it be knowledge, riches, or power has plagued individuals since the dawn of time. Examples from the Garden of Eden, Wall Street, Main Street, and election results across the country are easy to find as people long for quick-fixes and easy answers to their problems. However, history has shown us that depending on government to provide needs only leads to increased dependency and a loss of freedom. With that in mind, the focus of this episode is the recent mayoral race in New York City which has led to great speculation about the loss of liberty expected for New Yorkers if the new mayor's policies are enacted. Linda's guest, Eric Michael Anton, Senior Managing Director at Marcus & Millichap, has lived and worked in the heart of the city nearly all his life and provides first-hand insight regarding the effects of public policy on business and quality of life in the city. He also provides examples on how to support American values in a diverse, world-class city that is often polarized politically.  ©Copyright 2025, Prosperity 101, LLC __________________________________________________________ For information about our online course and other resources visit: https://prosperity101.com To order a copy of Prosperity 101 – Job Security Through Business Prosperity® by Linda J. We unpack replacing yourself with the right operators, building simple systems, leveraging automation without losing the human touch, and shifting identity from doer to designer. If you're plateaued at 10% growth and stuck in 80-hour weeks, this conversation is your operating memo to scale sustainably, increase enterprise value, and protect your mental health.    About the Guest: Brandon Moon is CEO and Strategic Partner at TD Pine Advisors, where he helps founder-led companies reduce owner dependency, align teams, and grow valuation. He hosts “Coffee with TD Pine Advisors,” answering real questions from business owners navigating growth, change, and exit readiness.    Key Takeaways : • Owner dependency crushes enterprise value—design the business to function without you.• Audit your time: keep high-leverage work, outsource/offload bookkeeping and repeatables early.• Hire/contract operators (COO/plant manager) so you can focus on growth, not firefighting.• Automation/AI ≠ less personal; it frees time for deeper client relationships and BD.• Identity shift: move from running the business to designing the business (systems, culture, cadence).• Network weekly—your circle can be a growth engine or a cage.• Pride is a glass ceiling—surround yourself with people smarter than you to break plateaus.• Think legacy: every owner exits; build a company that thrives after you.   How to Connect with the Guest :  LinkedIn: search Brandon Moon (active on LinkedIn — best contact route).
