I have an exciting trip coming up to a place where I've never been -- it kinda looks like New Zealand up there: Maine! I cannot wait, and it coincides with my birthday! The sun is out, providing us with all that energy, fueling our vibration and passion! Let's talk passion + profit. We start things because we are passionate about them. And that's how it should be! But, somewhere along the road, we lose that passion. Instead, we become consumed and obsessed with the profit side of the business. That's what I want to talk to you about during this episode. Why passion > profit. We lose sight of our passion; we lose our profit. We attract more profit if we stay in the high vibration of doing things from a place of passion. [4:23] Be inflow, but also be aware and take control of your goals. When you don't know where you're going, you're going nowhere. [8:00] Obsession with profit puts off a very low vibration. We are out of Mercury Retrograde! We've gone into the uprising of female power. We're going into major competitive mode while taking fellow women down, and it feels like there is a race to the throne. We're supposed to be supporting and lifting each other up. If you're a female and feel like you're still in this more masculine, competitive, hustle/grind/push/shove, get-to-the-top mindset while hurting fellow females, listen up. You might have some healing to do. And, that's okay. We will work on that together in this episode. If you've been wounded, let yourself feel that for a day or two. But don't stay in that victim or pity mode. That is super low vibrational! If we live awake and are super conscious, our healing and recovery will be faster than those who are totally unaware. [7:40] Emotions carry a frequencywith them. When you feel something emotionally, your electromagnetic field changes. Your healing process will depend upon how hurtful the experience was and the level of frequency your emotion is at. I have had some pretty harsh lessons this year, and it is purely female-based and mostly business-based. When I hear about females burning other females in businesses or friendships – my clients, my friends – I get super protective. We have no control over other people's actions; we only have control over ourselves. In this episode, I am really talking to you, females, about how we can all be better human beings in general and protecting our own energy. Live awake and increase your intuition. I am in a situation currently where my gut is raising alarm bells, cautioning me to be careful with this person in my life. And I am listening. [4:20] You are your intuition; your intuition is you. Meditate. Sit with yourself so you can hear and listen to yourself. Here's how. [5:04] Intuition can sometimes manifest physically. If you are really good with listening to your body and in alignment with your intuition, you can stop these manifestations before it turns into a really bad physical illness. [12:30] Being in tune with your intuition will protect you from females trying to hurt you or may burn you in the future. Intuitively, you'll be helping cut the cycle of females hurting other females by disrupting negative narratives. [16:00] Hurt people, hurt people. It's in those times when we are hurt that we end up doing hurtful things to other females. It's so important to do our inner work to heal, be fulfilled, and be self-secure. Do you believe in signs? And if you do, do you ask for them? I have been diving deep into asking for signs, connecting deeper with the Universe and spirit with my own intuition and allowing the two to be coherent. But asking for signs is just half of it. The other is learning how to surrender and listening to the signs given to you. And we will talk about just that in this episode! When you ask for a sign and receive it, it elevates your vibration and frequency, and the reason is because you feel supported. [2:00] Even 'no sign' is a sign. [5:36] You will keep getting sent the same lesson until you learn the lesson. So try learning it the first time around, or the Universe will keep throwing you the same lesson in different packaging until you do learn! [7:45] We don't need to rationalize everything and come up with the answers on our own all the time. Surrender; ask for help and guidance from the Universe, from your god – whatever resonates with you. The answers will come if you allow them. [10:10] My elevated state has opened new opportunities for me: this gave me four new clients. I cannot even make this up! [18:30] This is how I ask for my signs. Extra tip: I tune in to the present moment (so I don't give the Universe mixed signals).[22:06] Remember: always stay in a high vibration to attract positive things – whatever you put out will attract the same energy. I went away this weekend to the mountains with friends for my husband's birthday. It was so awesome and fantastic – we had the best time celebrating, eating out, very late nights, so much laughter and fun! Here’s the kicker: I came home with a nosebleed for the first time in my life after. And, I knew exactly what had happened: my energy is depleted. I am an introvert. I need my downtime alone to recharge and recover. And we will talk about the how’s and why’s on this episode. After being around a lot of people and you were not drinking, if you feel sickly but not; very fatigued and tired, and just not your 100%, you are depleted of your energy. [3:11] Introvert vs Extrovert: which one are you? [5:53] What to do when your energy is depleted? Just chill! Don't overwhelm yourself; accept that this is where you're at temporarily. Take your time to rest, relax, and replenish your energy. [6:52] It's also scientific – if your nutrition hasn't been on point during the time you exerted more energy than average, you need to give yourself time to rejuvenate after that big event. [10:50] With energy depletion, sometimes you can avoid it, sometimes you can't. This is where energy protection is essential, but you also just need a good ol' day off after being around so many people or after an event. Stay hydrated. Eat real good. Fill-up that joy bucket. Positive experiences do not cause as much havoc in our nervous system as negative emotional responses do. We are so impressionable that we tell ourselves stories that might not even be our true beliefs because we want to fit in. Our brain just naturally mirrors things that we like from our external environment, which eventually becomes our reality. This tends to be short-lived contentment and eventually hits us for the worst. In the body-building community, it's a common theme to say and believe that we hate cardio; because "we are all about lifting" and that we are "meatheads". I'd tell myself the story that I hate cardio and running. That period of my life eventually led to my rock bottom, and we will talk about that in this episode. Before we dive in, keep in mind that sometimes, we have to go through rock bottom to reach our high point. If you keep telling yourself the same story that you've picked up from your external environment over and over again, what do you think is going to happen? The story that you tell yourself will manifest and become your reality! [2:50] Body-building caused my panic attacks, extreme anxiety, and basically, just my rock bottom. I will never ever train anybody to train body-building again. It's not a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. [4:40] Don't deprive someone of their rock bottom because it's at rock bottom where we open our eyes and become awake. [6:30] Be wary of the advice that you give. Offer support and be there for that person, but don't intervene [unless it will lead to death or prison] on their way towards rock-bottom. Only then will they make a life-changing decision for the better. [8:28] This episode is for people who want to help all the time, who step in and intervenes too much. You still can – by supporting them and being there for them in their rock bottom. It's painful, yes. But, on the other side of the rock bottom is the biggest lesson and just pure greatness! Time is a priority. The reality is, we all get the same amount of hours in a day! We all get 24 hours; no one else gets 25 or 30. I am a morning person. I'm very mindful of how I utilize my time and sticking to my routine. But sometimes, there is just not enough time in the day, and we sometimes run out of time. There's only one way to get more time, and I'll walk you through how in this episode. There are tips and tricks in making better use of your time, but there is only one way to get moretime. [4:10] By changing your perception and the way you speak of time, you can make better use of it. Thinking, 'I don't have time'is not wrong. Still, this perception puts out this rushed energy into the Universe, therefore blocking off receiving wonderful things coming into your life. [5:19] I brought awareness to what I am doing and what I am saying. 'I have all the time in the world'. By switching to that, I had less stress just by changing how I perceived time, and fantastic opportunities started flowing into my life. [8:20] Here it is: the only way to get more time is to buy somebody else's time. Hire somebody who can take tasks and jobs out of your hands. [17:37] It's a win-win: equal energy exchange! You can show up better, and you are gifting somebody a job who needs and wants it. [21:10] 'I don't have the money to buy time' is a typical thought process. But remember, it's about prioritizing what's of value to you. Money is just energy. Where are you putting your energy [money] into? [23:08] Give yourself the gift of time. Clients buy my time – I take tasks off of their calendar so they can spend their time on something more valuable. What does an hour of bought time do for you? An extra time with family? Another hour for self-care? You can't put a price in spending your energy on something more fulfilling to you. We tend to do whatever we can to be included, to belong, even if it’s not with the right community or environment. And this is why most of us are not walking around as our Authentic Self. Being your Authentic Self means knowing truly who you are underneath all the expectations and standards of our external environment -- be it families, media, friends – of what “should” be. I know it’s a heavy topic, but it needs discussing, especially during the Age of Aquarius, where we are getting a higher vibration and energy from the Universe! Be aware of the tell-tale signs that you’re not being your Authentic Self. [2:25] How do we become our Authentic Self? [5:30] Start listening to your body—the physical cues and manifestations —when you feel off around certain people. [7:15] Digging deeper to reveal your inner and Authentic Self is not easy. What a doozy April it has been! We hibernate in the winter; we shed and bloom anew in the spring. This transition from winter to spring means new energy are looming, and things are naturally being removed and let go. And April has had a lot of that! In this episode, we will talk about April's energy: the many purging that's been going and what it means. Cyclical numbers and their relevance to the month of April (9) and May (1). "No's" are a blessing in disguise! [4:19] I have experienced hard hurts and losses this month, as well. I have been grieving, but I also have been surrendering and, in the process, healing. In order to heal, you have to feel. [7:10] Lesson from the inside out. Things happening from the "outside" is not the actual problem. The real problem is usually silent and deeper, and not what's on the surface-level. [9:39] This is the time to go deep within and focus on appreciation, gratitude, and compassion. It's the perfect time to try 'metta meditation', a guided meditation cultivating the feeling of compassion. [14:05] Holding on to anger, frustration, and resentment with others don't hurt them; you're only hurting yourself. [16:55] If you are going through this purging process in April, learn the lesson! Feel the pain so you can leave it behind in time for new beginnings that's about to come out in May! Energies that no longer vibrate in your level and no longer serve a purpose in your life will naturally be removed by the Universe from your frequency. May is the beginning of a brand new cycle so, mind your vibrations – you can't go in this new cycle with the same low vibration you have been putting out. I have racked up debt in my teenage years because of fashion! I’ll elaborate in a minute. People have always seen me as the “fitness guru”, and that that is what I’m all about. Fitness is my zone of excellence, but it wasn’t my zone of genius. I enjoyed it, and I had fun, but there was always a part of me missing. I wasn’t identifying myself as the “fitness guru”. In this episode, I’ll share with you my story from fitness to fashion and how and why I pivoted. How it all started: my love for fashion and my passion for fitness, and my non-stop attempt to get into the fashion industry. [4:15] Fast-forward to March 2020 when COVID hit: I was in a good financial position with my fitness business, but the boutiques were hit hard. I wanted and needed to support small, local boutique businesses – be it free modelling, shouting them out on my social media – anything and all that I could for the community. [7:50] My zone of genius is leading with the heart and making sure that your energy is taken care of; a community that is happy and joyful for the highest good is the reason I did a massive pivot from fitness to fashion. I talk a lot about Meditation. I was a meditation teacher for five years and had been meditating regularly since 2015. It really, really changed my life in so many ways! During my bodybuilding days, I had really bad panic attacks, to the point that my doctor gave me prescription drugs for my anxiety. But I didn’t need it. What I needed to do was to change my lifestyle and get into a healthy regimen again. My eyes opened to mindfulness and meditation. Today, we talk about the why and how it changed my life, the science behind it – why meditation works and heals, why you should be doing it, and how to actually do it. What is mindfulness? It’s getting you out of autopilot and getting you in the present moment. [3:30] Your perception is everything: it creates your reality. My life is phenomenal and fantastic because I chose to think that way. I chose to let go and surrender and not live in the past. [8:00] Mindfulness vs Meditation: what’s the difference? [10:00] The science of meditation and its proven benefits. [18:45] When we are stuck and blocked, we do not live abundant lives; we do not attract and manifest our dreams. [24:16] Don’t get aggravated with yourself and think that you’re failing at meditation because your mind goes on its own little tangent. Instead, practice bringing awareness to and stopping the thought and coming back to being present. [27:07] You will attract the same energy and frequency that you put out. [33:57] Meditation is the art of bringing your mind back to the present moment. It’s important to do meditations that resonate with you. I hope this helped shed some light on meditation. If it doesn’t result in death or prison, you’re good! (There’s a context in this, I promise!) We don’t talk about falling apart a lot, but the reality is falling apart happens more than things coming together. And that is okay! It happens; we can’t control it happening. Still, we can control how we go about it: by putting the energy of panic into something else, transmute it into something more valuable and productive. In this episode, we will talk about how to fall effectively when it feels like everything is falling apart. If you feel like everything is out of control, why can’t the natural reaction be “surrender”? [2:14] You can’t delete energy; you can transmute it into a different type of vibe or store it as something else. [4:30] It’s okay to feel panic, anxiety, stress, overwhelmed, and freaking out like everything is going to crap. Feel it, acknowledge it, bring awareness to it, and then detach. Detach from that emotion; that isn’t you. It doesn’t define you. [9:00] The habits to adapt when things are falling apart: transmuting the panic energy into a productive one. [12:53] Let’s play a game of “What’s the worst that can happen?” [16:25] When you feel like things are falling apart, it’s because you are thinking of how it will affect you next week. So, take a moment to pause; be present and evaluate how you are right now. The anxiety and the panic come when you are not present in the moment and the right now. Make a conscious effort to change your mindset, and it will turn into a habit, then you start rewiring your subconscious. You are safe, you are good, you are protected, and I am here for you! I’m back from my mini-vacation over the weekend! I was overwhelmed, exhausted, and very close to burning out for a while, and just had to get away before I reach my tipping point. I probably take on too much responsibility for each of my clients. I take all of it on. I like it that way, I just have to do better in setting boundaries and not taking on other people’s emotions or manifested energy. I’m a work in progress and still learning how to create boundaries for myself and protecting my energy. So, I can only teach you what I know, which we will tackle together in this episode. We are constantly forming new boundaries as we realize what boundaries need to be laid. It’s even more important for business owners to set very clear boundaries—and strictly sticking to it! [6:25] A lot of people won’t set boundaries because of a lack of self-worth, self-confidence, and self-love. [12:00] Don’t ever feel guilty for creating and having boundaries. Stand firm with your boundaries. We show people how to treat us by the way we treat ourselves. Be the lesson. [15:43] The effective steps I take to make my boundaries stick. [17:58] “If I don’t do this, people will think this.” No one cares! Everyone is busy with their own lives. It’s always the judgment that we have towards ourselves, and we deflect it by thinking that others judges us. 2020 was such an odd year for everyone – "odd" being an understatement. To some, it was a bit of a doozy, but it has also been phenomenal to others! My #2021Goals is continued health, wealth, and happiness by being more mindful and through conscious living. In this episode, I'm sharing all the details on how you can achieve your goals, whether it's for just this year or the next ten! Eighty percent of an outcome is determined by mindset, and 20% is by strategy and action. You could be born in the luckiest of circumstances but still be miserable if your mindset and perception are off. [1:50] "How do we make sure that our mindset is set at the right level for success in all areas of our life? First, I want you to understand that we run 95% from our subconscious mind every day. Out of that 95%, 70% was formed based upon negative experiences in our past. We're basically wired to think negatively as a natural reaction." [2:58] Live more from the conscious mind by being present. [3:39] When I used to compete for bodybuilding, I eventually developed a severe binge-eating disorder; my "why" wasn't strong enough. I would end up sabotaging everything I have worked hard for was a vicious cycle. What is your "why"? It has to be emotionally disturbing enough to motivate you daily until you create and commit to a healthy lifestyle. [10:20] We tend to stay in our comfort zone, to that feeling that feels familiar regardless if it is harmful, unhealthy, or chaotic. Saying to yourself, “I don’t have time” is like saying, “I am not a priority.” Doesn’t that sound wrong? During flights, if oxygen masks need to be used, we are always told to always put our own oxygen mask FIRST before helping anyone else. It’s because we are no use to others if we don’t prioritize our well-being first. In this episode, we explore why it’s so very important to serve yourself first and foremost before you even think of serving others. “You cannot be faithful to two masters who ask conflicting things of you.” – A Course in Miracle Our true nature stems from love, and because of accumulated experiences, we learn – and admittedly, constantly choose – fear over our true nature: love. Whichever master we follow directs us to the reality that we choose to live in. If we have that much power to create a living hell with fear, doesn’t it make sense that we have the same power to create a love-story reality? In this episode, we discuss, recognize, and learn how to redirect our negative thoughts: Master Ego prevents you from feeling joy, love, and happiness; the true nature of love. [3:57] How to shift your reality from choosing fear to effortlessly choosing love [5:50] Replace our negative, fearful thought with a loving, positive one. [10:42] “I witnessed my judgment and acknowledge that it is just my fear, shame, and past wounds showing up. But the problem is it separates you from others and your true nature. Being judgmental is a natural and human response. We all do it. But, is it a healthy behavior to possess? Short answer: NO. Other than the sheer fact that it is such draining energy to have, it is really just an unprocessed emotional-response-from-the-past-turned-into-projection-as-defense-mechanism behavior. Being overworked is not #goals as burnout isn’t a badge of honor. Don’t try and do it all [by yourself]! Doing everything yourself in a one-woman-show is more harmful to your overall lifestyle than it is helpful. Being a #BossBabe means knowing when and how to delegate tasks and accepting that you do not need to get your hands dirty with every single item your day-to-day. We want it all. We can have it all. But, we don’t have to do everything ourselves to achieve it all successfully. I have been practicing 'mindset shifting' for 16 years. I was first introduced to the concept by my mentor when I was 17 years old. I dove head first into Tony Robbins, The Law of Attraction, The Secret, and personal development in general. Mindset shifting is training the mind to think of the positive, optimistic, and feel good side of an event, circumstance, or experience. We run 95% of the time from our subconscious mind, and 70% of our subconscious in formed by negative experiences in our past. So it's no wonder that our automatic response to things is negative. We have to rewire our minds to think in a more conscious way and choose a better way to look and feel about things. This isn't easy when we only operate 5% of the time from our conscious mind, but it can be done. It's just creating a new habit. A new habit where your mind immediately thinks of the positive side instead of the negative. So how do we start? I've created my own method of mindset shifting, where I've taken what I've learned from my teachers and put them together in an easy step-by-step process. I call it 'The Shift Method'.

There are different modes of movement and everyone is so individual. Injuries, fitness level, age, goals etc all need to be taken into account when deciding on what exercise program you should follow. In this episode I explain some of the different ways to move your body for at least 30 minutes per day. Movement every day can be as simple as walking your dogs for a minimum of 30 minutes. We are becoming very sedentary so just creating movement in our bodies will begin to prevent disease and illness.
