Erebus stands as a formidable four-story haunted attraction nestled in Pontiac, Michigan, and is open during the Halloween season. From 2005 to 2009, it held the Guinness World Record for being the largest walk-through haunted attraction. Its chilling origins trace back to the year 2000 when it breathed new life into an abandoned four-story parking garage, dormant for nearly half a century. Prior to Erebus's arrival, this very structure languished as an indoor junkyard. The visionaries behind this macabre masterpiece are none other than Edward and Jim Terebus, distinguished for their prior ventures into the realm of haunted attractions around the Detroit area. Before Erebus, their expertise was demonstrated through portable haunts constructed within trailers. Complementing Erebus, they also helm the publication Fear Finder—a seasonal beacon that serves as a central nexus for Michigan's haunted houses, facilitating effortless discovery for the intrigued and the brave-hearted alike.

Michael has experienced the more negative side of the paranormal after having lived with a mother who was demonically possessed. As a child, Michael lived in terror of what his mother would do next. From pouring hot soup on him, beating herself daily with a log, chasing his sister with a butcher knife to setting fires in the house and being institutionalized twice — no child deserves to grow up in a world where this is their reality. Michael has shared his story and life through two books he has written, "Devil Take The Hindmost Part 1: A True Story of Terror" and "Devil Take The Hindmost Part 2: The Aftermath."

Curious by nature, he found himself downloading a copy of Sarah Estep’s book, Voices of Eternity, which he didn’t read completely until November. That fall he experienced events that helped him overcome his addiction to substance abuse. After reading the book he immediately set out to record for EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena). Very soon all of his energy became channeled towards the study of life after death.  As time progressed, multiple corroborative readings from separate mediums and psychics led him on his path.
