She supports people to make peace with their body, eat intuitively, find joy in movement, and become self-compassionate. With lived experience of navigating the world in a bigger body since childhood she understand firsthand what it's like to face constant criticism, not feel good enough and to have a body that the world says does not belong.She first discovered the Health at Every Size (HAES) paradigm in 2013, when working on a uni assignment for her first career. It changed her life, so much so that in 2021 Bridgette commenced a Master of Counselling so she could transition careers and help others in bigger bodies. Bridgette hopes to create the sort of space for others that she wish she had embarking on her own body image journey.
