As Lise Cutshaw and Micah Van Huss summarize the "hellish" locations and delve deeper (pun intended) into the inhabitants of these dark places and their futures in the end times story – including the battle of Armageddon, the evil military leaders, such as Apollyon and Satan, and the 200 million-man army that Jesus will annihilate. Jesus, Micah says, is the focus of all of his studies of the forces that continually wreak havoc in the unseen realm, as well as the realm of the dead – for now.
This transcript explores the Infinite Plane Society's critical analysis of modern conspiracy theories, media manipulation, and the blurring lines between reality and fiction. The speaker critiques Christian pastors and influencers who claim secret government knowledge regarding alien disclosure, dismissing these narratives as state-sponsored psyops or “clout-chasing.” By examining Hollywood archetypes, the text suggests that cinema and news act as a “New Testament” used to program public perception through esoteric symbolism. The discussion further addresses internet censorship, arguing that recent platform bans are premeditated strikes designed to control the narrative of upcoming global events. Ultimately, the source advocates for a philosophy of informed disbelief, urging listeners to recognize patterns of deception within a rigged media system. The Pastor “Secret Meeting” Psyop: Pastors are claiming they attended a secret government meeting to prepare their congregations for a massive disclosure regarding non-terrestrial, interdimensional beings that are supposedly biblical angels.Quote: “The first rule of this secret meeting about something that's going to change the world is to talk about it on X.”Hollywood Archetype Casting: The sources argue that major celebrities are cast to embody deep esoteric archetypes, such as Michael Jackson and Joaquin Phoenix as Christ figures, or Ed Harris as a “Demiurge” character.Quote: “Instead of like typecasting, archetype casting refers to beyond just their superficial characteristics... what deeper symbolism can they embody what can they put into the subtext.”Predictive Programming and 9/11: Significant media, including The Matrix and James Cameron's Titanic, supposedly contains coded references to 9/11 and other “future” events, suggesting a scripted reality.Quote: “The movie screen is the Overton window and anything they put on the movie screen is now in the public's frame of reference and they are prepared to accept it.”The “Pre-Purge” Censorship: The recent deletion of independent channels like Tim Truth and the IPS is viewed as premeditated “pre-purging” to ensure total narrative control over an upcoming major event, possibly involving nukes or UFOs.Quote: “I think they are pre purging Because they want to have total creative control over what they do next and I think it has something to do with nukes and UFOs.”Informed Disbelief vs. Media Religion: The speaker differentiates between “low information believers” who follow mainstream or alternative news and “informed non-believers” who use skepticism as a mental immune system.Quote: “Informed disbelief the skeptics view and we're not even talking agnosticism we're talking about Gnosticism knowing as much as we possibly can about something as opposed to low information accepting it.”Trump as a Scripted Archetype: Donald Trump is analyzed not just as a politician but as a solar “divine sun king” or “Apollyon” archetype, with his career mirroring predictive programming themes of time travel and assassination.Quote: “The Christification of Trump, the martyrdom of Trump goes deep... the overlapping of the filming of Joker and the Trump on trial really stood out to me as more than coincidence.”Critique of Gematria: The use of “number magic” by atheists to decode the news is described as a Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy that manufactures intricate but fake connections.Quote: “The conspiracy theorists who use number magic are applying the same system but they're doing it to the news... connections that they make, which are fake, are so intricate and statistically just impossible.”

Rev. Jon Jo | Modern Service | Revelation 9:1-121 The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. 2 When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. 3 And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. 4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 They were not allowed to kill them but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes. 6 During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.7 The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. 8 Their hair was like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth. 9 They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. 10 They had tails with stingers, like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months. 11 They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).12 The first woe is past; two other woes are yet to come.

Today is Monday, March 16, 2026, and this is episode #7 in Series 2026. This episode is titled, “Jesus Christ Is Coming Back.” Before we get into our message, let me share a resource that will help you to draw closer to Jesus every day. It’s titled The Daystar Devotional and is a compilation of daily meditations I’ve written based on a Scripture verse for the day. If you’re looking for daily encouragement in your walk with Christ, The Daystar Devotional will provide just what you’re looking for. Daily readings will give you fresh insight into Scripture verses that will inspire you, encourage you, and strengthen you as you face the daily challenges of life. The Daystar Devotional is available in both print and ebook formats at the links below or in the show notes. The Daystar Devotional (Print)The Daystar Devotional (eBook) And now, let's dive right into this week's message: Jesus Christ Is Coming Back. A lot has been said recently about the return of Jesus Christ in the cataclysmic event called the Rapture. So much, in fact, that the fact that Jesus hasn’t returned yet has caused the mockers to increase in number and intensity. But just because Jesus hasn’t returned yet doesn’t mean He won’t. To think that His delay is permanent is deception, and it is where the great danger lies. For you see, my friend, Jesus Christ promised us that He would return. Before He went back to Heaven after His resurrection, Jesus said this to His followers: “In My Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” (John 14: 2-3). Since Jesus is God, He cannot lie. He will keep His Word. He will return. Let me be as clear and as simple as I can. The Bible prophesies the return of Christ in an earth-shattering event called the Rapture. Let’s read about this in 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17: “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.” After the Rapture, the Bible prophesies that a seven-year period of intense human suffering will come upon the earth. This seven-year period is called the Tribulation and will occur during the rule and under the rule of a man called the AntiChrist. Why is he called the AntiChrist? Because he will oppose everything the true Jesus Christ stands for and, in fact, the AntiChrist will attempt to replace Christ. The AntiChrist will proclaim Himself as God. Behind the AntiChrist will be Satan himself who will, in effect, use this man to perpetrate the worst horrors the world has ever known. Listen to what the Bible says about these horrors in the Message Translation where the AntiChrist is referred to as “the Anarchist:” 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-5 and verses 9-12 (The Message Translation): “Before that day comes, a couple of things have to happen. First, the Apostasy. Second, the debut of the Anarchist, a partner in crime with Satan. He'll defy and then take over every so-called god or altar. Having cleared away the opposition, he'll then set himself up in God's Temple as God Almighty . . . The Anarchist's coming is all Satan's work. All his power and signs and miracles are fake, evil sleight of hand that plays to the gallery of those who hate the truth that could save them. And since they're so obsessed with evil, God rubs their noses in it—gives them what they want. Since they refuse to trust truth, they're banished to their chosen world of lies and illusions.” The Bible further describes the day of the Rapture in the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians, chapter 1, verses 2 and 3. This is Paul writing: “You know as well as I that the day of the Master's coming can't be posted on our calendars. He won't call ahead and make an appointment any more than a burglar would. About the time everybody's walking around complacently, congratulating each other—“We've sure got it made! Now we can take it easy!”—suddenly everything will fall apart. It's going to come as suddenly and inescapably as birth pangs to a pregnant woman.”Did you hear that, my friend? The day of Christ’s return will come as a huge surprise to those who are not looking for His return. Some translations describe his return as unexpected as the intrusion of a thief in the night. Moreover, in Revelation 4: 8, we read of the holy angels who are now worshipping the Lord and proclaiming the promise of His return: “Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty— the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.’”The question then is not if Jesus will return. He Himself said He would. Nor is the question when will He return. The question is a far more important and momentous one: Are YOU ready for His return? You might be thinking, Dr. MaryAnn, this sounds like hogwash to me. Why should I be paying attention to the return of Jesus Christ? Why should I care? I don’t even believe in Jesus Christ. Christians have been talking for years about the return of Jesus, but He hasn’t come back yet. So what’s the deal? The deal is that your position regarding the return of Jesus Christ will mean the difference between whether you escape the Tribulation or whether you won’t. Why should you want to escape the Tribulation? Because during the Tribulation, as the Bible states in Matthew chapter 24 verse 21, “…there will be greater anguish than at any time since the world began. And it will never be so great again.” (Matthew 24: 21 NLT) Sobering words, no? So what will happen during the Tribulation? The Bible describes the scenario in several places. Let’s take a look at a few of them: 2 Thessalonians 1: 7-9 NLT: “He [Jesus] will come with his mighty angels, in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don't know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious power.“ Revelation 6: 12 (describing the vision of John the Apostle in approximately 95 A.D.): ” . . . there was a great earthquake. The sun became as dark as black cloth, and the moon became as red as blood.” Revelation 9: 10-11 – “Then the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen to earth from the sky, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit. When he opened it, smoke poured out as though from a huge furnace, and the sunlight and air turned dark from the smoke. “Then locusts came from the smoke and descended on the earth, and they were given power to sting like scorpions. They were told not to harm the grass or plants or trees, but only the people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. They were told not to kill them but to torture them for five months with pain like the pain of a scorpion sting. In those days people will seek death but will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them! “The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. They had what looked like gold crowns on their heads, and their faces looked like human faces. They had hair like women's hair and teeth like the teeth of a lion. They wore armor made of iron, and their wings roared like an army of chariots rushing into battle. They had tails that stung like scorpions, and for five months they had the power to torment people. Their king is the angel from the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon—the Destroyer.“ So, my friend, you can see from these few Scripture verses that the Tribulation will not be a picnic. It will be horrifying. Over half of the world’s population will die. In Revelation 6: 8 NLT, the Apostle John prophesies that one-quarter of the earth’s population will die: “I looked up and saw a horse whose color was pale green. Its rider was named Death, and his companion was the Grave. These two were given authority over one-fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword and famine and disease and wild animals.” Then later, in Revelation 9: 15 NLT, he tells us this: “Then the four angels who had been prepared for this hour and day and month and year were turned loose to kill one-third of all the people on earth.” That’s over 80% of the world’s population that will die! These verses give just a few examples of the horrors that will befall those who are alive during the Tribulation. You don’t want to be one of them. But, if you do not accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, you will be one of them. Only those who receive Christ into their lives will escape this time of unfathomable anguish, but those who do not follow Christ will not. So what is your choice, my friend? Do you want to live through the Tribulation and probably end up living forever in hell? Or do you want to believe that Jesus loves you, and that He died and rose from the dead to take the punishment for your sin so that you could live in Heaven with Him forever? The choice seems like a no-brainer. You might say, “I’ll just wait and see, Dr. MaryAnn. If I end up in the Tribulation, I could always accept Jesus then.” Yes, you could. But it will be extremely difficult. Why? Because the Bible says that those who accept Christ during the Tribulation will not be allowed to buy or sell anything unless they take the mark of the beast. And they won’t take the mark of the beast. The Beast is the AntiChrist, also known as Satan personified. The mark is a digital I.D. that will be placed on or subcutaneously implanted into one’s forehead or hand. This mark will identify that person as a follower of the AntiChrist. Those who refuse to take the mark in order to follow the true Christ will be identified as traitors and will be executed, most likely by being beheaded. In order for you to buy food for your family during the Tribulation, you will need to pledge allegiance to Satan and worship him as god. And once you do that, you relinquish every opportunity to be saved and to go to Heaven. Listen to what the Bible says:“Then a third angel followed them, shouting, ‘Anyone who worships the beast and his statue or who accepts his mark on the forehead or on the hand must drink the wine of God's anger. It has been poured full strength into God's cup of wrath. And they will be tormented with fire and burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb. The smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever, and they will have no relief day or night, for they have worshiped the beast and his statue and have accepted the mark of his name.’” Why will those who take the mark of the beast be doomed forever in hell? Because accepting the mark of the beast will alter your DNA. If your DNA is altered, you will no longer be human but transhuman. And transhumans cannot be saved because Jesus died only for humans, not for transhumans. My friend, please hear my heart. I don’t want you to go to Hell. It is a place of eternal torment from which you will never be able to escape. Can you even fathom what eternal means? It means never-ending. Forever without hope. Have you ever felt hopeless? Well, multiply that to the nth power and you will get only a glimpse of what eternal hopelessness feels like. But you can avoid all of this simply by believing in Jesus Christ and in His love for you. How hard is that to do? How hard is it to believe that God loves you so much that He was willing to take the punishment for sin that you should have taken? God does not want you to go to hell, my friend. He doesn’t send anyone to hell. People send themselves to hell by refusing to believe God. Listen to what God’s heart for you is: “For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” – 1 Thessalonians 5: 9. The Tribulation is the time when God will pour out his wrath on a sinful world. The Bible tells us that the Christ-Follower is not appointed to wrath. Friend, you don’t have to be here for the Tribulation. You can escape the hell that is about to be unleashed on the earth. All you have to do is receive the love Jesus has for you, a love so profound and so perfect that He gave His very life for you. Won’t you do that now? Won’t you accept Him now? Pray this simple prayer with me: Lord Jesus, I need You. I don’t want to be here for the Tribulation. I want to spend forever with You in Heaven. I believe that You are the Son of God Who died for me and rose from the dead and paid the price for my sin. I receive You now as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for saving me. Thank you for taking the punishment for my sin. Make me like You, Jesus. In Your Name I pray. Amen. If you sincerely prayed this prayer from your heart, you are now a born-again child of God. For more than two centuries, The Pilgrim's Progress has encouraged believers along the narrow way. Now, in this newly updated edition, Charles H. Spurgeon – who read Bunyan's classic more than one hundred times – walks with readers through the allegory's most memorable scenes, illuminating the spiritual truths within “that sweetest of all prose poems.” Originally delivered as Monday evening addresses and published post-posthumously by Spurgeon's son Thomas, these messages reveal Spurgeon at his pastoral best: warm, practical, biblical, and deeply earnest for the salvation and spiritual growth of his hearers. With vivid insight, he explores Christian's early companions: the Swamp of Despond, the gate of salvation, the battle with Apollyon, the dangers of Vanity Fair, and more – drawing lessons for young and seasoned travelers alike. Rich with Scripture, full of spiritual counsel, and alive with Spurgeon's unmistakable voice, Pictures from Pilgrim's Progress invites you to walk again with Christian, see yourself in Bunyan's characters, and grow in love for both the allegory and the Word of God that shaped it. A timeless help for all who seek the Celestial City. About the Author Charles Haddon (C. H.) Spurgeon (1834-1892) was a British Baptist preacher. He started preaching at age 16 and quickly became famous. He is still known as the “Prince of Preachers” and frequently had more than 10,000 people present to hear him preach at the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London. His sermons were printed in newspapers, translated into many languages, and published in many books.

When the howling tempest has played out its strength, it soothes itself to sleep. Then comes a season of calm and quiet, so profound in its stillness, that only the monstrous tempest could have been the mother of so mighty a calm. So seems it with us. Deep waves of trial, high mountains of joy. But the reverse is almost as often true; from Pisgah's top we pass to our graves; from the top of Carmel we have to go down to the dens of lions, and to fight with the leopards. Let us be on our watch-tower, lest like Manoah, having seen the angel of God, the next thing should be that we say we shall surely die, for we have seen the Lord.

Allegories. Christians love allegories! That’s a story element of having a person, place, or thing meant a a direct picture of something else, like Jesus or moral virtues. Some people think Jesus did this in parables, or C.S. Lewis did this with Narnia. Others point to Pilgrim's Progress as a prime example. Even if they're right about that, might some readers and authors focus so much on possible “allegories” that we miss great stories’ deeper meanings? So in Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress, the character Timorous represents fear and Mr. Worldly Wiseman represents worldly wisdom. In our day, distinction of genres has been muddled a bit, so we tend to regard any story with symbolic elements in it as allegorical, but it was not always this way. C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia, for instance, are not allegories, even as often as they are referred to as such, and Lewis himself said as much. The parables of Jesus could be said to contain allegorical elements, some more than others, but they are not strictly speaking themselves allegories. Jesus definitely deals in the world of virtues and vices, but he is most immediately interested in the world of human beings, their hearts, their words, and their deeds. “How Not to Read the Parables,” Jared C. Wilson The reason for the long history of the misinterpretation of the parables can be traced back to something Jesus himself said, as recorded in Mark 4:10–12. When asked about the purpose of parables, he seems to have suggested that they contained mysteries for those on the inside, while they hardened those on the outside. Because he then proceeded to “interpret” the parable of the sower in a semi-allegorical way, this was seen to give license to the hardening theory and endless allegorical interpretations. The parables were considered to be simple stories for those on the outside to whom the “real meanings,” the “mysteries,” were hidden; these belonged only to the church and could be uncovered by means of allegory. How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth by Gordon D. Fee and Douglas Stuart 1. Jesus's parables aren't just allegories Sometimes the Lord interpreted His tales this way. For example, He says the seed is like His word and different soils are like different hearers (see Mark 4:13–20; Matthew 13:18–23; Luke 8:11–15). But we may miss His main point if seek out the Secret Allegories. No less top church fathers seem to have started this trend. Famously he read many allegories into the Good Samaritan tale. But the central point is to answer, “Who is my neighbor?” At other times He simply said, “The kingdom of heaven is like…” Meaning the whole parable says something about His kingdom. What follows might be a prophecy of doom in the end times. Or it might be an illustration of human behavior fit for His reign. His parable may be about groups, individuals, morals, or salvation! In either case, “he who has ears to hear, let him hear.” 2. Pilgrim's Progress is allegory; Narnia is not Many readers fondly remember John Bunyan's classic quest tale. The allegories start simple but accessible, especially for Puritans. “Christian” is a Christian. “Evangelist” is. Apollyon is just a demon! Then as we've previously explored, the allegories get complicated. God, angels, the Bible, and Heaven are literal. So are good and evil. At one point Moses himself cameos as a Law-enforcing antihero! Altogether, Bunyan is both less and more creative than we thought. However, we needn’t impose our view of Progress For instance, many Christians learned to like Narnia by accepting the common belief that Lewis put “allegories” into his fantasy tale. Stephen recalls one article around the movie release in 2005. The writer meant well, but made up all kinds of silly “allegories.” He believed the Pevensies are apostles and weapons are prayer. Lewis himself specifically says outright that he did not do this. Aslan isn't an “allegory” for Jesus. He is Jesus, working his good will in many worlds across a fantastical barely glimpsed multiverse. One's view of “allegory” shouldn't overturn clearly stated words. Otherwise we'd all end up reading our own ideas into the Bible too! 3. Forced allegories may ruin some stories Frankly, forcing allegories into stories risks rejecting their real truth. With limited allegories, Jesus made sure His parables carry layers. With mixed/complex allegories, Pilgrim's Progress has aged well! By avoiding direct allegories, Narnia can be subtle yet also overt. And for new Christian-made fantasy, we can expect the same. Kids and grown-ups can lose themselves in the story, not pulling it apart for useful parts, but being surprised by deeper meanings. History shows this is a far more powerful way to read stories. Instead of making them into Teaching Tools, as if stuff we make up could replace God's word, stories help us see our own responses. This is a far more human emphasis closer to imagination's purpose. And for new writers out there, we encourage going deeper. Allegories look like ultimate meaning, but they're really 101 level. Example: any sword may evoke Ephesians 6. But it's first a sword. You don't have to limit this idea to the word of God or even prayer. Swords have more resonance in Scripture than just one text. They're tools of men and angels alike to defeat or restrain evil. So don't reduce the concrete object to some spiritual abstract. Really this comes down to how we see the world. Do we expect a bodiless “spiritoid” eternity? Or one where matter itself matters? Scripture promises a union of tangible New Earth and New Heaven. Ultimately our stories must hearken to this reality. So study deep! Com station Top question for listeners How do you look for deeper meanings in the Bible and stories? Next on Fantastical Truth Next week is Groundhog Day, and we've already seen this story: Your favorite Christian author, who usually talks about book updates and inspirational life anecdotes, is suddenly posting about controversial political stuff. Should readers impose “no politics! no religion!” rules on story creators who feel strongly about a topic? Or might we expect more from authors posting or not posting hot takes?

Revelation 9 ESV 1 And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit. 2 He opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft. 3 Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth. 4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 They were allowed to torment them for five months, but not to kill them, and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings someone. 6 And in those days people will seek death and will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them.7 In appearance the locusts were like horses prepared for battle: on their heads were what looked like crowns of gold; their faces were like human faces, 8 their hair like women's hair, and their teeth like lions' teeth; 9 they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the noise of their wings was like the noise of many chariots with horses rushing into battle. 10 They have tails and stings like scorpions, and their power to hurt people for five months is in their tails. 11 They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.12 The first woe has passed; behold, two woes are still to come.13 Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour, the day, the month, and the year, were released to kill a third of mankind. 16 The number of mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand; I heard their number. 17 And this is how I saw the horses in my vision and those who rode them: they wore breastplates the color of fire and of sapphire[c] and of sulfur, and the heads of the horses were like lions' heads, and fire and smoke and sulfur came out of their mouths. 18 By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed, by the fire and smoke and sulfur coming out of their mouths. 19 For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails, for their tails are like serpents with heads, and by means of them they wound.20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, 21 nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts. The sun and the air were darkened by the smoke from the pit. 3 And out of the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given the kind of power that scorpions of the earth have. 4 They were told not to harm the earth's grass, any green plant, or any tree, but only those people who do not have God's seal on their foreheads. 5 Indeed, they were not given permission to kill these people but only to torture them for five months. And the pain they cause is like the pain caused by a scorpion when it stings a person. 6 In those days people will seek death but will certainly not find it. They will long to die, but death will escape them. 7 The locusts looked like horses ready for battle. On their heads were what appeared to be crowns that were like gold. Their faces looked like human faces. 8 They had hair that looked like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth. 9 They had breastplates that appeared to be made of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of many chariots and horses charging into battle. 10 They had tails with stingers like those of scorpions, and in their tails they had power to hurt people for five months. 11 They have the angel of the abyss over them as their king. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he has the name Apollyon. [1] 12 One woe is past. Look! After these things two more woes are coming. The Sixth Trumpet 13 Then the sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice speak from the four [2] horns of the gold incense altar that is before God. 14 It said to the sixth angel, the one with the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 And the four angels who had been prepared for this hour, day, month, and year were let loose so that they could kill a third of the people. 16 The number of soldiers on horseback was two hundred million. I heard their number. 17 And this is what I saw in the vision of the horses and their riders: They had breastplates that were fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow. The heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire and smoke and sulfur. 18 As a result of these three plagues, the fire and the smoke and the sulfur that came out of their mouths, a third of mankind was killed. 19 For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails, for their tails are like snakes that have heads, which they use to cause injuries. 20 The rest of the people, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands by giving up their worship of demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, or wood, which cannot see, hear, or walk. 21 And they did not repent of their murders, their sorceries, their sexual immoralities, or their thefts. ORIGINAL AIR DATE: MAY 22, 2021Revelation 9 reveals John's vision of the fifth and six trumpet judgments. Several interpretive issues are immediately apparent. What is the nature of the angel with the key to the bottomless pit (Rev 9:1)? Is this angel the same or different than that in Rev 9:11 or Abbadon/Apollyon?

Reach Out: Please include your email and I will get back to you. Thanks!Revelation 9 The fifth angel sounds his trumpet, and a star falls from heaven to earth. He is given the key to the bottomless pit and opens it, releasing smoke that darkens the sky and a swarm of locusts with power like scorpions. These locusts do not harm plants but torment people who lack the seal of God on their foreheads. Their king is called Abaddon in Hebrew and Apollyon in Greek. The sixth angel then sounds his trumpet, and four angels bound at the Euphrates are released to kill a third of mankind. A vast army of horsemen appears, bringing death through fire, smoke, and sulfur. Despite these terrifying plagues, the rest of humanity does not repent of their sins, including idolatry, murder, sorcery, sexual immorality, and theft. Their hearts remain hardened. We reflect on these scenes as fulfilled in the past, yet they still speak to our hearts today. The judgments were severe, and the suffering was great, yet people continued in rebellion. This shows the tragic reality of hardened hearts when pride resists repentance. We are reminded that judgment is not just about punishment but a call to turn back to God. Even now, we can learn from those who refused to repent. We must remain humble, quick to confess, and eager to walk in the light. God desires hearts that respond to His voice. These fulfilled events urge us to examine our own lives, reject sin, and faithfully follow the one who has sealed us with His name. All-powerful Lord, we come before You with humility and reverence. You are just in all Your ways, and Your judgments are righteous and true. Though the scenes of Revelation 9 were fulfilled in the past, they remind us of the danger of hardened hearts and the cost of unrepented sin. Keep our hearts soft and open to Your truth. Help us turn from every form of evil and walk in obedience to Your will. Strengthen our faith and guard us with Your seal. May we never ignore Your voice but live each day with repentance, gratitude, and devotion to You. Thought Questions: God's judgment on the enemy was extreme. What do God's actions teach you about His attitude toward sinfulness among the nations? What does the continued refusal to repent, even after suffering, reveal about how hard hearts can get? How do you avoid such a heart? What can the seal of God on the faithful teach you about the importance of your spiritual identity and faithfulness at all times?

The Order of the Vanquished Dragon is a reference to Michael/Miok slaying Apollyon, which is parallel to St. George of Cappadocia lore, which was actually a real story of the Noble Goths who defeated the Serpent/Dragon child sacrificing semitic cult in Carchemish 5,000 years ago. This Christian Order was devoted to the defense of Christians against the Muslim Ottoman Turks and their co-conspirator Jewish alliance. Introduction: Someone once said, "Sin is its own worst avenger." THIS IS TO SAY, "IN THE SINS THEMSELVES ARE THE SEEDS THAT DESTROY." The CONSEQUENCES of sin punish the transgressor. The man or woman who chooses sin chooses self-harm. WHY? BECAUSE SIN IS TRANSGRESSION AGAINST GOD HIMSELF. Whatever is contrary to God's nature and God's will is contrary to GOOD. ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS IS GOOD AND ALL SIN IS DESTRUCTIVE. And standing behind all sin, all rebellion against God is the great leader of that rebellion — Satan — and he is a DESTROYER. ESV John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. NAS Revelation 9:11 They have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon. (Ἀπολλύων is "a destroyer.") In sin is that which is OUT OF ORDER. In sin is that which is SELF-DESTROYING. In sin is that which is OTHERS-DESTROYING. In sin is the WISDOM FROM BELOW that produces CHAOS ALL AROUND. THE FRUIT OF SIN IS PAIN, LOSS, REGRET, DISCONTENTMENT, AND EMPTINESS.

Please pray for Tony's wife, Lindsay, as she battles breast cancer. Your prayers make a difference! If you're able, consider helping the Merkel family with medical expenses by donating to Lindsay's GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/b8f76890 Description: In episode 755: Marked By The Wolfman, Tony is joined by Parris, a man whose childhood was marked by a spiritual battle he never asked for, but couldn't escape. It started around age six, when a towering gray-skinned demon appeared in his home, causing his mother to vanish mid-hallway and plunging him into supernatural terror. As the years went on, this entity returned, appearing in windows, lurking in trees, stalking him like a predator. But Parris wasn't just being haunted, he was being recruited. As his faith deepened, so did the enemy's attacks. From being named by the spirit of Apollyon in a dream that left physical marks, to being paralyzed and choked by a shadowy figure during a Florida vacation, Parris recounts a life of spiritual warfare that blurred the lines between dreams and reality. Yet amid the darkness, divine encounters lit the path. Towering angels clothed in white, heavenly singing that drowned out the demonic lies, and a revelation of authority in Christ changed the game. This is more than a story about nightmares; It's a testimony of how heaven moves when hell tries to mark you—and how light always exposes the shadow.
