I loved making this episode. I love Asian Man Records. I love Mike Park. And I love all the acts that he got together to release music from. Asian Man Records was a big part of my early years of loving the ska sound, as I was already a fan of ska, but AMR really helped me branch out and learn about more bands. As a pretty skint kid, I didn't always have the cash to buy a ton of CDs and AMR kept it as cheap as he could and put out super cheap samplers to find out and hear new bands. I have so many AMR records on my shelf, ska, ska/punk and of other genres that this was an easy one to get together. I know I leaned a bit on the early years here, but I also wanted to show AMR is still holding up the ska banner and supporting those songs. Mike was a man of many tastes, and he always had good taste, so if it was ska or not I'd always check it out, and usually dig it! But for the topic at hand, we're focusing on the ska and ska/punk and you may or may not be surprised how much it isn't packed to the gills with ska/punk! Hey Punky Peeps, here is a new episode of Punky Power: An Unoffcial Punky Brewster Podcast S1E3: Punky Finds A Home Part 3 Air Date: September 30, 1984. In this episode Henry Warnimont goes to court to gain temporary custody of Punky Brewster and become her foster parent. Stephen had his first paranormal experience as a child. Since then he has become a strong advocate for paranormal study, research, and investigation work. He started investigating the paranormal in 1997, conducting investigative work for politicians, military facilities, the board of education, museums, commercial locations, businesses, television, and civilians. In 2007, he formed P.I.T. Paranormal Investigation Team, which was later dubbed The PIT Crew. During its peak, P.I.T. had members and divisions in North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Kentucky, Connecticut, New York, West Virginia, California, and more. Stephen appeared on A&E Biography's My Ghost Story in 2011 and again in 2012. He has been interviewed on hundreds of radio shows and on various news broadcasts revolving around paranormal phenomena. He also often gives public lectures on the subject. In 2009, he self-published Paranormal Investigator: True Accounts of the Paranormal, which was later discovered by Llewellyn Worldwide and re-released as True Casefiles of a Paranormal Investigator in 2012. The book contains personal case files, and it welcomed stellar reviews from the general public and was added to the Library of Congress. Lancaster retired in 2014 following a near-fatal car accident.
