What God is is beyond our small human mind's capacity really to grapple with and until you get pushed so deeply into yourself, usually by pain, that you have to get into regions of the unconscious or the superconscious or the soul which is really the self-sense of all of it. In other words, in the soul, there is no division between the unconscious, subconscious, and superconscious. The higher self is the superconscious part of the soul. The subconscious is the wisdom of the DNA and the cells that make up the miracle of the body. The unconscious is everything that the ego cannot be aware of because it can't process even close to that much information per any given unit of time. But the soul has access to all of it and only God can give us soul so really the soul is God embodied. - Paul Chek Get 15% off your CURED Nutrition order with the code WELLNESSFORCE ---> Get The Morning 21 System: A simple and powerful 21 minute system designed to give you more energy to let go of old weight and live life well. David Baum Jiddu Krishnamurti Why we have to reinvent our government to get it to be a true democracy again. breathwork.io M21 Wellness Guide Wellness Force Community Power Quotes From The Show We Are The World "If God is God then what else could you be? And if you're not God that's okay, then you're the universe. Even if you don't believe in that, guess what? You're the world because look at what your body is made of; you're 70% water, your blood has the same level of salinization as the ocean, your bones and tissues we can call the earth element, your breath is the air element, and your metabolism is fire and you can't get by without sunlight. Even if you don't believe that you are the universe then you have to wake up and look at your own science and education and realize that you are the world. We all need each other; we are each other." - Paul Chek What Limitations Can Teach Us "When you really look at it, limitation is as important to freedom as freedom is itself because if there was no limitation, you wouldn't know what freedom was. So, really enlightenment is the realization that you really are free and that limitations are tools to work with that ultimately can be used to create freedom for yourself and others." - Paul Chek How Humanity Can Rise Up In 2020 "One of the most important functions of meditation is that it organizes the mind because it creates space for things. If you have no space between the notes and music, you don't have music, you have noise. We need to take advantage of this time and be brave enough instead of running around like chickens with our heads cut off and drugging ourselves, being scared, and getting fanatical about it...." "...Let's sit in a circle with friends and people that are really concerned and chant, sing spiritual songs, or gospel songs or anything that brings you to a state of calm. Let's practice being with silence so that it creates a space within ourselves that allows creativity to rise up. If we have the intention of holding hands, caring for each other, and caring for the planet so that we can evolve to the point where we can handle another five billion people on the planet without destroying it and we know how to live together and take care of the planet, then I think we can be really proud of what we created and our spiritual evolution and religion will become meaningful." - Paul Chek Links From Today's Show How to Eat, Move and Be Healthy PPS Success Mastery Program Living 4D with Paul Chek | CHEK INSTITUTE Show Notes Episode 36 – Josh Trent: The Making of a Buddha 226 The Revolution Is Coming: Paul Chek (Three-Part Series) 275 The Revolution Is Here: Paul Chek Arnold J. A negative self-talk loop is when the demeaning and degrading story we tell ourselves about ourselves or our life not only plays on repeat in our brain, but leads to even more demeaning and degrading thoughts. And since negative self-talk thrives off of uncertainty, it makes complete sense that it’s been having a field day for so many of us in so many ways throughout 2020 in particular. If the self-talk coming up for you right now is along the lines of: "I’m exhausted. I’m doing everything I can and it’s just not cutting it. I'm so behind. I can't believe I’m still HERE. If I only had ______, this wouldn’t be so hard."...then this episode is for you. SHOW NOTES: Episode 71 with Christen Brandt WANT website Katie’s Instagram Leave a review on iTunes! With everything happening at a breakneck pace it seemed prudent to do another one this week and talk with radio personality and former police officer Garland Nixon about the state of things in the U.S. Garland and I discuss the underlying rage and discontent that has been brewing for months in the U.S. at the unfair and rotten system which has driven hundreds of thousands around the world into the streets to vent that rage. The problem is, of course, that this rage is being misdirected and used by very sinister people to achieve terrible political and social goals through violence, looting, rioting and generally carrying on cranky. And we're all being abused by it. Something deep and abiding has to change within us before we can ever attempt to change the system we are a part of. And it is great to see two people from opposite ends of the political spectrum agree about so many fundamental aspects of this current crisis foisted on us to accelerate the descent of our civilization.Show Notes:Episode #5 - Garland Nixon and Chasing Down the Lies on K Streethttps://www.spreaker.com/user/tomluongo/episode-5-garland-nixon-chasing-down-theBurning America: Be Careful What You Wish Forhttps://tomluongo.me/2020/05/31/burning-america-careful-wish-civil-war/One Screen, Two Movies, Three Times the Troublehttps://tomluongo.me/2020/05/30/one-screen-two-movies-three-times-the-trouble/Tim Pool - Exposing Antifa Tactics and Why They Are Fake Anarchistshttps://youtu.be/GnJBOSTZzSc

Show Notes – Episode 2 This podcast began a result of Tricia and Rob staying at home due to the Corona virus. This season of quarantine and quiet gave Rob the time to think creatively. Tricia, on the other hand, needed a creative mental diversion from all that comes with being “locked” in a house with three men (two of whom often act like teenage boys), and two dogs! Both are thankful for the diversion of thinking out loud together, a pastime they’ve relied upon for nearly 38 years now (or at least, since they each learned to talk). Summary In this episode, Rob and Tricia discuss the value of ‘self-censorship: giving space and time to how we respond to others via emails, texts, or even conversation.” They each learned that lesson through embarrassing experiences shared in this episode! Quotes to take with you Rob: “Use that ‘Snooze for 30 days” option that Facebook offers to you when someone is letting their opinions get the best of them. Give them 30 days to calm down about that thing they’re upset about right now. Create space for them to work it out!” Tricia: “Dance like nobody is watching, but email and text like everyone is watching.” What are they currently reading? Tricia: Maybe You Should Talk to Someone, by Laurie Gottleib, “a therapist who is seeing a therapist.” This book has Tricia thinking on the concept that “we are responsible for our reactions to things. It’s not just what life dishes out to you, but how you respond to it that helps you find your sense of meaning.” Rob: Know What You’re For, by Jeff Henderson, “a pastor in Atlanta who started a movement with his church in which, instead of marketing for their church, they put all their effort into the hashtag, #ForGwinnett. They wanted to get the message across that, ‘We are not just FOR our church, we are also FOR our community.’ More of a marketing book than a religious book. Great marketing advice!” What are they “for” these days? Rob: “I am for good theatre, good storytelling. Great storytelling has the capacity to change someone’s life, and potentially, honestly, to save someone’s life.” Tricia: “I am for Story, and for Kindness, and especially for kindness in a story. That’s what I write about, what I will put on Facebook, what I will write on my blog, the conversations I have and the books that I write, even the books that I write for other people. Where else can you find them? Tricia: “Facebook, Instagram, and my blog. Google any version of ‘Tricia Lott Williford,’ and you will find me. And when you do, I want to know your story, what you are ‘for,’ and where is the kindness in it?” Rob: “Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, just search for ‘robalott.’ And when you find me, tell me in a sentence or two: when all of this is over, what is the story you want to be able to tell?” “Hey, this was fun! Let’s talk soon!”

Welcome to AiArthritis Voices 360! Today we are introducing Rheumy Rounds™, a concept developed by the International Foundation forAutoimmune & Autoinflammatory Arthritis (AiArthritis) that will unite two very important stakeholder groups - the rheumatologist (as associated rheumatology professionals) and the patient - in roundtable discussions where both parties will be on equal levels discussing important topics that, if solved, can improve outcomes. By listening to one another's concerns, perceived barriers, and desired improvements, we can begin to develop solutions that will impact patient lives and the rheumatology community as a whole. This is a break out series in conjunction with our AiArthritis Voices 360 talk show (podcast). This episode, join your patient co-hosts, Tiffany and Kelly, as they are joined by roundtable guests - rheumatologist, Dr. Alfred Kim, and graduate researcher Jerik Leung -as we dive right into the heart of the issue - communication barriers that currently exist between patients and their rheumatologists in the office setting. Some issues discussed today include:How does each stakeholder view the expectations and the goals of the visit and how do they align with one another? When a patient sees a new rheumy they often feel it's "starting over", but if the medical records are intact, the doctor views it a continuation of care - how do these differing mindsets affect behaviors? How do social determinants affect care? (geography, outside social support, income, etc.)Rheumies are people too - how does emotional burn out affect visits?Listen to the episode then take a few minutes to add your comments to the conversation. Based on your input, we will work to build solutions to address this issue and come back with a future episode to build on the discussion. You can join the conversation by submitting comments about this episode using this link. AiArthritis Voices 360 is produced by the International Foundation for Autoimmune and Autoinflammatory Arthritis. Tou can find this episode and more information about Rheumy Rounds, including how to be part of the show and submit future topics, at www.aiarthritis.org/rheumyrounds.Show Notes: Episode 13 Rheumy Rounds Pilot Episode: Office Visit Communication Obstacles (Part 1) 00:52 - Tiffany welcome listeners to the pilot episode of Rheumy Rounds01:15 - Tiffany is joined today by co-host, Kelly01:36 - Tiffany identifies her diagnoses01:58 - Kelly explains her diagnosis02:35 - Tiffany welcomes today’s guests: Dr. Alfred Kim and Jerik Leung03:01 - Kelly introduces Dr. Kim and Mr. Leung and explains their work focus in the AiArthritis Community04:54 - Tiffany explains the goals of the Rheumy Rounds Series07:04 - Today’s Topic: Improving Doctor / Patient Communication08:12 - Jerik’s research showed that patient goals did not always align with the physician’s goals, especially relating to medications and side effects09:20 - Patients who are not connecting with their doctor and aren’t understood by their family will often seek out online communities so that they feel understood by someone 13:05 - Dr. Kim says the primary goal of rheumatologists is to determine what is actually going on with the patient. Are additional testing or imaging studies necessary? Are the notes from the previous doctor or patient provided information enough?13:54 - Practicing Rheumatology is somewhat similar to practicing psychiatry in that there are usually not clear cut answers divined from test results. The physician has to review as much information as possible to arrive at a correct diagnosis.14:50 - Rheumatologists must also prepare to have a difficult conversation with patients if the diagnosis doesn’t align with what they have been told previously or what they believe or don’t believe they have15:13 - Sometimes patients arrive at a new doctor with incorrect information in their chart because a previous doctor had to use a certain diagnosis - even if it wasn’t the correct one - so the patient could get access to a needed medication17:13 - Rheumatologists primarily base treatment plans on symptoms, rather than diagnosis. This is different than 99% of medicine practice and is confusing for patients.20:08 - 80% of health outcomes are determined by social determinants, and only 20% is based on medical care20:14 - Social determinants are the variables of how your living and working situation influences your health (income, education, social support, addiction status, employment status, etc.)20:40 - Physicians have no meaningful training in influencing social determinants in their patients23:30 - Patients really benefit from having collaboration between their doctors and having someone coordinate the services they need - both medical and social determinants - all in one place29:45 - Physicians must translate colloquial information from the patient to technical information so that it will align with their training and then translate it back to colloquial format so the patient will understand it and be able to explain it to their social support network30:18 - Physicians receive no formal training in communicating effectively with patients32:33 - Patients should document concerns as they go so that they can communicate them effectively with their physician 32:50 - Shortened appointment times, electronic medical records requirements, and overwhelming workloads all contribute to emotional burnout among physicians who want to provide emotional support for patients
