It was dark in damp. Of course, that was not unusual for the Tacora Cave, a giant underground system which was strewn with precious jewels and priceless artefacts. Those were the reason why we were here in the first place. Armed with our torches, we explored one tunnel after another, always mindful of traps. Sooner or later, one of us would get scared and make their way back to the entrance with their share of the treasures we had found so far. Un factor que suma perquè un joc entri amb la catifa vermella al Descobrint Jocs és que estigui editat en català. Un altre molt important és que tingui com a protagonista a la ciutat de Barcelona... i avui hem trobat un joc que combina ambdós factors i no volem esperar més per presentar-vos aquest flamant Zoom in Barcelona. Sobta d'inici veure que està dissenyat amb 3 caps i il·lustrat a 4 mans, però vam estar a una de les sessions de 'testing' obert (concretament al Festival Molins Horror Games 2018) i allà vam poder copsar que l'entesa entre totes les parts era simplement perfecte. Una nova i petita editorial de casa nostra com Cucafera Games ha estat capac de treure al mercat un joc amb un format molt complet (amb cartes, tauler, 'tokens' de cartró, peces de fusta...) i amb uns estàndards de qualitat òptims. Bona feina! Normalment els crítics sempre posem el crit al cel amb les baixes qualitats però mai fem el contrari quan tot està bé, i això també ha de canviar. Zoom in Barcelona és un joc, o un sistema de joc extrapolable, sobre el plànol de Barcelona en aquest cas. On ens hem de moure i capturar fotos de la manera més optimitzada possible per puntuar més que els altres jugadors. Una munió de mecàniques elegants i plaents destinades a un públic familiar. Recorda en sensacions, salvant bastant les distàncies, a la genial sèrie de jocs sobre mapes que van fer del 2003 al 2013 l'Alan R. Moon i l'Aaron Weisblum coneguda com a "10 Days in...".

Spin-offs, spin-offs i més spin-offs! Potser és una bona estratègia comercial quan tens una marca com ¡Aventureros al Tren! sobre la taula... i és que del clàssic joc de trens ja hem vist infinitat de mapes (taulers), també versions d'aniversari amb components de luxe, fins i tot la versió infantil i ara venen els spin-offs de ciutats del món. S'ha d'anar amb molt de compte quan es fan aquestes coses. Perquè el producte original és un GRAN joc... d'aquells imprescindibles en qualsevol ludoteca (gran o petita). I quan compares ¡Aventureros al Tren! amb ¡Aventureros al Tren! New York s'hi veuen les vergonyes. Generosament hem etiquetat aquest spin-off de "demo tècnica" del joc original, i hem tornat a utilitzar a la secció el concepte "ludus interruptus" després de molts anys (5 concretament) quan vam analitzar l'infame Un Imperio en 8 Minutos.
