Hem parlat amb ell dels seus inicis al món de la dansa amb la Sílvia Paretas, de l'esforç i la dedicació que li té en aquesta disciplina i del seu somni de convertir-se en el primer ballarí d'una gran companyia de dansa. El futur en el seu cas passarà sí o sí per marxar a fora a estudiar perquè, tal com ens explica, a Catalunya i a Espanya la dansa continua sent una disciplina poc valorada i reconeguda. March 27, 2026Today's Reading: Mark 15:33-47Daily Lectionary: Exodus 5:1-6:1; Mark 15:33-47 “And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, ‘Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?' which means, ‘My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?'” (Mark 15:34)In the Name + of Jesus. Amen. The final words of Christ make a declaration. Christ is truly alone with the weight of all the sins of all people from all time bearing down upon him. He has completed the requirements of the law, and now the perfect sacrifice for all mankind is finished. “Why have you forsaken me?” is uttered, and He breathes his last. He is alone and dead. His father has turned His back on Him. The few that have come to the cross stand at a distance. All that is left is to bury Him.It is not a glorious death. His death is a death of humiliation and torture. It is a bloody death filled with agony and pain. His disciples have left him but one, John. The local church leaders have stopped by to deride him and cast their insults upon Him. They truly kick Him when He is down. No mercy is shown to Him other than a bit of sour wine on a hyssop branch. Often in our lives, we are left feeling all alone. We may cry out in a similar fashion, “My God, why have you forsaken me?” Various circumstances in our lives can leave us feeling as if no one is with us. We continually hear the shallow platitudes of those around us regarding the omnipresence of God. Yet the darkness in our lives seems overwhelming. The family is still fighting. The homework is still piling up. The parents are still divorced. The slanderous remarks still spew from fellow classmates in the hallways and on social media. We are left under the weight of our sin and abandonment.It is in the sacrament of Holy Baptism that we are reminded that we are not alone. In all of the above circumstances, we see the separation and loneliness that exists on account of sin. In your Baptism, you are connected to the cross of Christ. His being forsaken by God the Father is your promise that God the Father will never abandon you or forsake you. Your Baptism is that seal, that promise that God never turns His back on you. It is not that you “were” Baptized but that you “are” Baptized. Daily, when the sins of this world bear down upon you, you can proclaim, “I am Baptized.”In the Name + of Jesus. Amen.I bind unto myself the name, The strong name of the Trinity By invocation of the same, The Three in One and One in Three, Of whom all nature has creation, Eternal Father, Spirit, Word. Pero es que las palabras de Jesús no son un gesto de falta de fe. Antes de ser el grito desesperado de un moribundo, esta frase era el primer verso del Salmo 22, uno de los más profundos del salterio, que, como buen judío, Jesús conocía muy bien.Se trata de una oración de David, tan conmovedora en su densidad humana y en su riqueza teológica, que es una de las más repetidas y estudiadas de toda la Biblia.Se trata de un pasaje que el Crucificado empieza a recitar en voz alta, y que prosigue diciendo que Dios nunca «menospreció la aflicción del afligido, ni de él escondió su rostro, sino que cuando clamó a él, le escuchó» (Sal. 22: 24). Jesús también se sabía el resto del salmo.Jesús se identifica con esa oración de un inocente perseguido a muerte por sus enemigos, que se acoge, en su dolor, a un Dios que no responde y que parece haberlo abandonado. Pero su oración se dirige a Dios, a pesar de sentirlo muy distante, o cruelmente ausente. Es una petición que supone escucha, y que espera como respuesta un gesto de consuelo.Aunque Cristo en la cruz comparte el sentimiento de abandono del salmista, ambos gritan al cielo esperando ser escuchados. Su «Dios mío, ¿por qué me has abandonado?», expresa, más allá de la angustia de un hombre al borde del fin, el sufrimiento incomparable del Hijo de Dios, ofreciéndose por la humanidad, asumiendo por ella el drama de la muerte.Sin embargo, Dios está con él, y en sus manos entrega su espíritu, acogido por el Padre con una seguridad y ternura tan infinitas como incuestionables (Luc. 23: 46).En esta vida todos estamos expuestos a pasar por momentos en los que Dios parece ausente y nos sentimos terriblemente solos. In March 2020, 18 year old Eloi Rolland left his homestay on Auckland's North Shore  just before dawn. He was a French exchange student - curious, soft-spoken,  and enchanted by New Zealand's beauty. That morning he opened Google Maps and searched the word Piha. A remote black-sand beach known for its cliffs, its isolation… and its danger. He caught a bus, then a train. CCTV caught him walking alone as the city woke up. By 9:18am, his phone pinged one final time along Piha Road in Waitakere Ranges -  and then… nothing.No more messages. No more movement. No more Eloi.  Police scoured the bushland - dense, silent, and endless - but no trace of him was ever found. What happened in the misty hills outside Auckland? Did Eloi wander off the track?
