Raised in New Jersey, Europe, Boston, L.A., and now Nashville, TN. As a teen, I was hell-bent on filmmaking until music took over, landing me in Hollywood as a long-haired heavy metal singer. A storyteller, just louder. I paid the bills by working as an extra on sets with everyone from Tarantino to Zemeckis and soaked it all in. When music shot me back across the country to Nashville, by day I worked my way up the crew ladder to Assistant Director. When the rekindling of my childhood passion couldn't be ignored any longer, I wrote and directed the short comedy "Rocco & Vinnie." Since then, I've written, directed, and released, through Gravitas Ventures, two features and directed shorts, commercials, and music videos. My period supernatural thriller, "Final," is my latest short supernatural thriller. I have multiple finished screenplays and pilots ready to produce and am always looking for collaborators to make that happen. His first album, I'm Dreaming, which was released in 2021, gained critical acclaim and commercial success. The album had four chart-toppers on the World Indie Music Charts and the Official European Independent Music Chart, including “I Called You Rose,” which climbed all the way to No. 3. Recently, Chris was in Nashville, working with legendary producer Stephen Wrench, as well as some of the finest session musicians in Music City, to record his upcoming album Fly Away. During the production of the album, Chris released the song “Hey Siri,” which quickly hit No. 1 on the World Indie and Official European Independent Music charts and remained there for five weeks. “Hey Siri” has a playful, rolling African groove reminiscent of Paul Simon's Graceland. This clever, lively, and thought-provoking song focuses on the drawbacks of modern technology. Stylistically, it's an outlier of sorts, scratching only the surface of the deep and impactful artistry Chris showcases over the course of 13 tracks. The diversity of the songs makes it very hard to fit Chris' music into any one genre. His voice is velvety and clear on the album's ballads, and heartfelt and rocking on the up-tempo songs. His tenor voice has remarkable range and clarity, and his different vocal stylings on each track make it hard to believe it's the same singer throughout the album. Fly Away is set to soar. The title track is a soulful, poetic, and powerful song about the birth of his son, John, and the times Chris spent with him from childhood through his recent graduation from high school. He wrote the song as his son was preparing to head off to college. All parents whose children have left the nest can relate to Chris' heartfelt lyrics: “I just held you I cannot believe it/You're heading off to live on your own/A million hours, tears joy laughter/I treasured it all, the best years I've known…” The song is set for release on February 25, 2022, his son's birthday. Jeff Lake's debut EP, “Field of Grass” was released in August of 2021 by WBA Records in Nashville and distributed worldwide by The Orchard/ Sony. During the last 8 months, the 5 song collection has amassed over 200k streams on Spotify. Check out the video for the title track “Field Of Grass”, appropriately being released on Friday, April 22nd - Earth Day 2022! WATCH FIELD OF GRASS ON YOUTUBE The opening track, “Better Times Will Come” has led the way with 100k views on You Tube. The title track serves as a stark contrast to the bright, upbeat tempo of “Better Times…” revealing a darker and more poetic side of Lake's writing, as well as his high tenor vocal range. Lake sings “so are we men of the world, or is the world for man to use and throw away”. Lake's brand new 10 song album, “Seven Days” is due to hit CD & digital outlets worldwide later this year. LISTEN TO FIELD OF GRASS ON SPOTIFY Recording artist Jeff Lake combines elements of rock, folk, bluegrass & country music for his own brand of Americana. A multi-genre songwriter, he has written music for Universal Greece recording artist, Michalis, the theme song for CBS's Latin American Idol spinoff show, the “Nueva Estrella Awards”, as well as recent collaborations with up & coming hip hop artist, Seon. As a guitarist & band-leader, Jeff has perfected his craft by playing alongside members of the Billy Joel Band, the Dennis DeYoung Band (Styx), and the Transiberian Orchestra. His career began as a frontman for hair metal band, Big Bang, opening for groups such as Winger, White Lion & Extreme. His melodic, lyric-driven songs and down-to-earth approach are gaining him an international audience. Chris St John has been on a roll this past year, especially these last few months. He has had several international hit singles, including “I Called You Rose”, “I'd Send You My Heart” and “A Box For Jewels” All songs dominated the Euro and World Indie Music Charts, rising to No. 3 and 8 respectively. St John's latest track, the extremely infections “Hey Siri”, perfectly captures the current state of our techno-crazy modern world. The song humorously yet pointedly song addresses both our addiction to, and frustration with, Siri, Alexa, Facebook, Amazon, texts, emails and cell phones, while lamenting the loss of simpler times before the cell phone/social media age. Over a lighthearted, playfully rolling, whistle-infused African/Carribean styled groove reminiscent of Paul Simon's classic Graceland vibe, the fast emerging multi-faceted Americana, folk, soft rock and country influenced artist shares insightful lyrics we can all relate to – and will be singing by the second chorus: “Siri's unavailable, Alexa won't stop talking, texts and emails coming, our children text for talking/I can't remember my passwords/Days run like a river/My phone is like an organ./You'll kill me if you take it away.” Produced by industry legend Stephen Wrench, who has worked with everyone from Lynyrd Skynyrd and Tom Petty to Bob Seger, Bonnie Raitt and Ozzy Osbourne, the buoyant track was recorded at Omni Studios in Nashville with some of Music City's most renowned session musicians. Wrench, also a powerhouse radio promoter whose company Musik Radio Promotions caters to a network of over 250,000 stations in 180 countries, worked with St. John's earlier singles – and was so impressed by his latest batch of songs that he signed as his producer for the current project. “Hey Siri,” a compelling video for which is in late production is the first lead single from St. John's mostly finished album in progress Fly Away, planned for release in early 2022. Fly Away is the follow-up to the singer's debut collection I'm Dreaming, which dropped earlier in 2021 and was showered with more than 30 worldwide rave reviews. “Hey Siri' is a song I wrote in less than a half an hour, early one morning at my office,” says the Long Island based St. John. He began writing songs at age seven but set his musical dreams aside for years as he pursued a successful career (a prosecutor, judge and an attorney and owner of a large law practice). “I heard an upbeat melody in my head and added lyrics about the
