The New Church has many amazing truths, truths that we can be grateful to have found. They give us insight into life and inspire us to grow spiritually. But sometimes we get so caught up in having the truth that we lose sight of the purpose. But there is no point in having the truth if we don't live it; and one of the ways we live it is by sharing it with others. The truth of the New Church is a gift that has been freely given from the Lord; and it is incumbent on us to freely share it with others.
Thom has heard from many church leaders about this question. He shares what will be the likely consensus in most churches. The post Is Your Church Giving Raises in 2024? appeared first on Church Answers.
In Jesus, we have received a new heart, spirit, outlook on life, new way of living and that includes how material resources are handled. The early church excelled in the grace of giving. It was in response to what Jesus has done. The generosity of the Holy Spirit resulted in their generosity to one another. An act of worship yielding everything to the Lord.
Welcome to a thought-provoking episode of The Church Revitalization Podcast, where we delve into the complex paradox facing churches in the post-pandemic era. In this episode we explore the intriguing dichotomy of increasing church giving and attendance juxtaposed with declining pastoral morale. We kick off with an in-depth analysis of recent findings from the Hartford Institute for Religion Research. Listen as we unpack the statistics that reveal a substantial rise in church donations and a modest decline in attendance, highlighting the resilience of our faith communities in adapting to the digital era. Yet, beneath this optimistic surface, we uncover a concerning trend - a significant number of pastors are battling disillusionment and fatigue, contemplating leaving their current positions or even the ministry altogether. Our episode takes a closer look at the challenges behind the pulpit. We discuss the multifaceted roles of pastors and church leaders, who serve not only as spiritual guides but also as administrators and community leaders. The episode sheds light on how the pandemic has intensified these responsibilities, leading to emotional and spiritual tolls that are often invisible to congregations. Then, we shift our focus to practical solutions and strategies to enhance pastoral morale. We emphasize the importance of building personal connections beyond the church, seeking external leadership help, and prioritizing self-care, including Sabbath observance, vacations, and family time. These strategies are presented as essential steps to sustain the spiritual and emotional health of those who lead our faith communities. Join us for a riveting conversation that goes beyond the surface of church statistics. This episode of The Church Revitalization Podcast is a must-listen for church leaders, congregants, and anyone interested in the future of our faith communities. Discover insights, solutions, and a call to action to support and uplift our pastors, ensuring the vitality and resilience of our churches in these challenging times.

During economic uncertainty, people start adjusting their financial choices, including their generosity. The reality for most church members is that they are working with fewer resources than before due to inflation. At the same time, given their limited resources, they're trying to achieve what they believe is the greatest good possible through their giving. And, according to giving data a significant number are choosing to give to religious causes other than their church. In this episode, we're talking with Carl Tierney from Vision 2 to understand how churches can improve both their communication around giving and the financial discipleship of their members.
Did you know, in the next decade, that most people will be holding their wealth in non-cash assets instead of their checking & savings accounts? This shift is crucial for the local church to understand, especially when it comes to giving encouragement. As times change, we must adapt our approach to align with the evolving financial realities of our congregation. Vance Roush is the Founder/CEO of Overflow, whose mission is to inspire your church with a faster, simpler and more accessible way to give. The battle for truth is real, and something that many parents whose children are questioning their gender are clinging on to. Governor Ron DeSantis has new laws set to take effect in Florida that support parents, and while some question the support of those laws others are looking to come alongside a community that is hurting as these battles continue. Dr. Kathy provides great encouragement for families, and gives us a picture of how these battles are ones our larger communities should engage and support those who are wounded in them.

Send in your question via text to 1-800-485-3139. Question #1 (02:06): Why do some church giving providers charge zero dollars per month? What's that about? Question #2 (10:44): Brady, can't companies just charge what they want? Question #3 (12:45): Brady, aren't you just talking about this because your company stands to make money? Question #4 (33:25): Brady, this isn't a good luck. Why attack a company like this in public? The Church needs to unite as one, not divide itself.

Today we continue in our series The DNA of a Transformational Church with a message on living a generous life - the kind of life that will one day leave behind a legacy.
Take a look at 3 ways to increase giving in your church. Spoiler alert: there is no magic, but there are strategies. We've worked with a lot of churches, and some are blessed with an abundance of finances, and some struggle all the time. Of course, there are many factors that may predispose a church to greater financial resources such as location, size, and demographics of the congregation. If everything was equal in those respects, there are still things that one church could do that would provide different results from another. Here are three.
