Seek God's Grace and Mercy (2) (audio) David Eells (9/11/24) I have been constantly amazed at the grace and mercy God is giving a most unworthy world and its Christians. God has lessened the effects of true plague warnings of gifted men and women. Of true earthquake warnings confirmed many times. Of 13 attempts on the true President's life. Of conspiracies to bring down the grid. Of conspiracies of poisoning the air, water, food, etc. Of corrupting the DNA to turn men into animals, to name a few. I know it's not over yet but God has been lessening them all. There also is an invasion of the US of its enemies to do us harm and steal the election, orchestrated by the DS. Keep praying and believing. And Christians are not under the curse that Jesus bore. About Prophecies, Dreams & Visions God speaks in prophecies; sometimes by utterances to our spirit or vocally to others and sometimes in dreams and visions, if they agree with the Word. There are five dreams in Matthew chapters one and two in which God spoke to give wisdom, direction, warning, and to fulfill prophecy. The Scriptural Law of First Mention dictates that this is the way God will continue to use these gifts. In Acts 2:17 we are told that in the last days God's Spirit would bring forth prophecy, dreams and visions, and who is man to say differently? Job 33:14-18 says that God speaks this way to open men's ears, seal their instructions, withdraw man's purpose, deliver him from pride, keep his soul from the pit, and keep him from perishing by the sword; "but man regardeth it not". Joseph and Daniel were great interpreters of dreams; most often dreams and visions need interpreting by the Spirit and in light of Scriptures. Some say that prophecy in any form no longer speaks of future events because Paul said it speaks "edification, exhortation, and consolation". Many years after Paul wrote that God gave "edification, exhortation, and consolation" in the Book of Revelation, which certainly speaks of future events. Some say that God does not use dates in prophecies, dreams and visions. We would have to ignore the testimony of Scripture to believe this. God said to Noah that "yet seven days" the flood would come (Gen.7:4,10). God spoke the seventy weeks prophecy through Daniel. It dated the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the coming of the Messiah to die for us (Dan.9:24-27). Daniel also prophesied that from the middle of the tribulation when the continual burnt offering will be taken away there will be 1335 days until the resurrection (Dan.12:11-13). God spoke through Joseph to the butler and the baker of Pharaoh that in "yet three days" their judgment from God would come. With Noah it was "yet forty days". Some prophecies mention "after two days" or "after six days", meaning after 2000-year days from the last Adam, Jesus, or 6000-year days from Adam. Sometimes the Scriptures say "on the third day" or "on the seventh day". These are dates that are certainly coming to pass. These and multitudes of other less famous prophecies prove that God speaks dates. Can God delay a promised judgment after He has prophesied a date whether by dreams, visions or prophetic utterances? God will not change what is written in His Word. "Forever oh Lord, thy word is settled in heaven" (Ps.119:89). His Word is likened unto a rock, immovable and unchangeable. The Word is a sure prophecy. 2Pet.1:19 And we have the word of prophecy [made] more sure; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts: 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture is of private interpretation. 21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but men spake from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit. Some say God can change what He says in His Word because it is not prophecy. Notice in the words "word of prophecy" and "prophecy of scripture" that all scripture was spoken and/or penned by a prophet and is prophecy. However, the Word reveals many delays in God's spoken judgments that were ordained by Him. Therefore, if He delays or changes the prophecies spoken in His Word to millions of people, He can do it with spoken or revealed prophecy today through prophets, dreams, visions or through His Spirit in many ways. In the case of a delay, when the Word ultimately comes to pass it will be fulfilled as, and when, the Bible says it will for the Bible chronicles many delays and deletes. This was true of the many revelations of the destruction of America before the year 2000 and before the tribulation. This was a warning and threat that was not ultimately going to come to pass because the Scriptures clearly show that God delayed the judgment from before the tribulation to after the tribulation at the beginning of the day of wrath (see Judgment Delayed or the video, Fall of America; Rise of the Saints). Since this is so, we should spend a lot more time studying Scriptures than prophecies, whether they come by dreams, visions or prophetic utterances. Without a background in the Word we have no idea whether a prophecy is true or whether it is a warning or a sure future event. Can God delay a promised judgment after He has prophesied a date? God gave us an example of this in the book of Jonah. Jonah "cried and said, yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown" (Jon.3:4). God had told Jonah to "preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee" (2), so he did. He was not a false prophet. Because of this, Nineveh, the capital of Assyria, repented and God spared them for about 64 more years. If, as God said through Job, dreams and visions are to keep man's soul from the pit, and to keep him from perishing by the sword, then the threat cannot come to pass when the right men turn. Sometimes in Scripture, God repented of a promised judgment when there was repentance (Joel 2:12-20). Micah prophesied the destruction of Zion, but the people repented and God changed His mind (Jer.26:18,19). However, if we find that a person explains all of their prophecies, dreams or visions away with the excuse that they were delayed, we should suspect them. Delays are the exception in Scriptures and not the rule. As we recently shared, God can delay judgment because of a cry for mercy. God showed visions of judgment three times to Amos but he sought mercy from the Lord, saying, "Forgive, I beseech thee: How shall Jacob stand? for he is small". God relented and delayed this judgment twice but the third time He refused to relent (Amos 7:1-9). Some people say, why would God so quickly appear to change His mind. "Appear" is the correct word to use here. God is looking for a reaction. Isaiah prophesied death to Hezekiah saying, "Set thy house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live". Hezekiah then cried to the Lord and 15 years were added to his life. Look how quickly God appeared to change his mind after he got the result He knew He would get from before the foundation of the world. 2Ki.20:4 And it came to pass, before Isaiah was gone out into the middle part of the city, that the word of Jehovah came to him, saying, 5 Turn back, and say to Hezekiah the prince of my people, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee; on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of Jehovah. Some say God cannot change His prophecy so quickly but you see this is wrong. Death has been prophesied to me two times, 15 years apart in my life. One of the verses given to me by faith at random was "thou shalt die, and not live", but I would not depart from the promise in the Word for healing and God preserved me. I then asked for another word by faith at random and got “I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of Jehovah.” Was it a warning and not a prophecy? Did God change His mind or did He just try me and get the desired result? God can try us in this way as He did with Abraham's command to sacrifice Isaac. Was this a false word to Abraham? Obviously not. The scriptures relate that God was trying him and he overcame, saying that he and Isaac would go to the mountain and return, believing that God was able to resurrect him to keep His promise of a seed to him. Aaron interceded for God's people in the midst of judgment with incense (prayer) and the judgment stopped. Num.16:44 And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, 45 Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. And they fell upon their faces. ... 47 And Aaron took as Moses spake, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on the incense, and made atonement for the people. 48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed. Incense here represents the prayers of the saints. It seems that unless there is a threat of judgment, God's people will not seek Him for mercy and grace for others and for themselves. God says, "Ye have not because ye ask not" (Jas.4:2). In Joel he prophesied of a great army he likened unto an army of locusts for multitudes that would ultimately invade Samaria and devastate the sinners of God's people. This was before the actual invasion of the Assyrians yet he spoke of it in present tense which was obviously a threat at the time. Joel.1:6 For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number; his teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the jaw-teeth of a lioness. ... Joel.2:11 And Jehovah uttereth his voice before his army; for his camp is very great; for he is strong that executeth his word; for the day of Jehovah is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? 12 Yet even now, saith Jehovah, turn ye unto me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: 13 and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto Jehovah your God; for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, and repenteth him of the evil. 14 Who knoweth whether he will not turn and repent, and leave a blessing behind him, even a meal-offering and a drink-offering unto Jehovah your God? Then there is a cry for the leadership to ask for mercy. 17 Let the priests, the ministers of Jehovah, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O Jehovah, and give not thy heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the peoples, Where is their God? Then God answered and delayed temporarily this horrendous judgment and left a blessing. 18 Then was Jehovah jealous for his land, and had pity on his people. 19 And Jehovah answered and said unto his people, Behold, I will send you grain, and new wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith... He spoke of a time coming in the end time day of the Lord when they would never be a reproach again and the northern army would be destroyed. 19 ...I will no more make you a reproach among the nations; 20 but I will remove far off from you the northern [army], and will drive it into a land barren and desolate, its forepart into the eastern sea, and its hinder part into the western sea... Were the first one and a half chapters of Joel false because it did not happen at the time it was spoken? We should be careful because this is what some “Joel's” are being told today by some who love to judge by sight and have not heard from the Lord. When a true prophetic warning is delayed or cancelled because of the mercy of God, sometimes the prophet or dreamer becomes angry because now they are persecuted as a false prophet. They should take heart because it happened with Jonah. Jon.4:1 But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was angry. 2 And he prayed unto Jehovah, and said, I pray thee, O Jehovah, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I hasted to flee unto Tarshish; for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, and repentest thee of the evil. 3 Therefore now, O Jehovah, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live. What God pointed out to Jonah was that mercifully sparing the lives of a multitude of ignorant people should come ahead of the pride and reputation of the prophet especially when Phl.2:5-7 says that we are to follow Jesus' lead in being made of no reputation. 11 and should not I have regard for Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than six-score thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; …? People get mad when they pass on a prophecy to others and it doesn't come true. They sometimes retaliate against the one who prophesied or dreamed or had a vision. Their foolish egotistical pride would rather see millions die to prove their point than for them to be proven wrong. God is watching and trying these people who do not see their own evil. In a parable in Luk.13:6-9 the husbandman, who is the Father, had given three years to the fig tree, representing His people, to bear fruit. When He found none, He gave command to "cut it down". Was this a false revelation since it did not come to pass? Obviously not. The vinedresser, who is the Son, interceded for one more year's delay, until he could dig about it, meaning break up its fallow ground by tribulation, and dung it with persecution. He said, "If it bears fruit then, well, but if not, thou shall cut it down". Notice that no man interceded here for this vast group of people called the fig tree but the Son of God. How many times does Jesus do this when we don't even know it. If someone prophesies the same thing today many are quick to judge when they don't see what is going on behind the scenes. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes. A similar example is in Exo.32:9 And Jehovah said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: 10 now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation. Moses then interceded that God would not destroy Israel because of His promise to the fathers to save their seed. Many today who have heard prophecies of judgments coming to certain places, pled with God to remember their children who He had promised would be saved. He hears our cries today for friends, relatives, and loved ones in the threatened areas. God sware unto the forefathers that He would bring their seed to the Promised Land. Could He change His mind? Num.14:23 surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that despised me see it... 30 surely ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware that I would make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. We see now that warnings given in prophecy do not have to come to pass if people will listen. We also see that promises will not come to pass if they will not listen. Moses interceded that God would not cut Israel off for unbelief. Num.14:11 And Jehovah said unto Moses, How long will this people despise me? and how long will they not believe in me, for all the signs which I have wrought among them? 12 I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a nation greater and mightier than they. Moses reasoned that God would suffer disrepute among the nations if this happened and reminded Him of His mercy and God pardoned them. 20 And Jehovah said, I have pardoned according to thy word... How long did it take for God to change an absolutely positive statement? About eight verses. Those who say God would never do this overnight or in hours should think again. One man stood in the breach and God delayed His wrath. Psa.106:23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, Had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, To turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy [them]. When God cannot find someone to pray because the warning has been given, He judges. Eze.22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should build up the wall, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none. 31 Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them... What could God do if millions, who have asked Him to save relatives, friends, and souls in a certain area, hold to their faith? Some would try to intimidate the prophets or dreamers because their revelations might not come to pass; because they would call them false prophets. It appears that Jonah was intimidated this way. What a terrible thing that people might not be warned because of the devil's threats. Back in our Numbers text God relented for the moment, but when they continued to ignore the Word in unbelief, He overthrew them in their wilderness tribulation. Was this a false word unto Moses since it did not come to pass at the time? Obviously not, God has been merciful multitudes of times when men ask for favor. Jer.26:18 Micah the Morashtite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah; and he spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest. 19 Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? did he not fear Jehovah, and entreat the favor of Jehovah, and Jehovah repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? These are but a very small portion of revelations given through faithful men that did not come to pass in the time they were spoken. Today when something like this happens people are quick to drag an Old Testament admonition out to condemn the prophet, dream, vision, word, etc. Deu.18:22 when a prophet speaketh in the name of Jehovah, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which Jehovah hath not spoken: the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously, thou shalt not be afraid of him. But you will notice that God neither condemned these prophets who heard and/or spoke His Word of warning or promise nor used any of these type admonitions on them. If He did there would be no such thing as a true prophet for they would all be stoned to death. Notice that I used the word "warnings" because that is what many prophecies are and they do not have to come to pass in such an instance when the desired result is accomplished. Many have made themselves judges of prophecies who are not prophets themselves and do not have the word of knowledge, wisdom, or discernment. This is contrary to scripture. 1Cor.14:29 And let the prophets speak [by] two or three, and let the others discern. Notice that the other prophets are the ones commanded to judge for they have the gift. This is why people who do not know and have not heard from God should be quiet. 1Cor.4:5 Wherefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall each man have his praise from God. The brethren we have spoken of above who have brought God's true word that was delayed or deleted were not the kind of people who could be deceived. They were disciples of God and His doctrine. They were lovers of truth and the crucified life, denying themselves for the work of God. I have known people like this in our day who have prophesied or dreamed warnings that were put off because of mercy. This did not stop false judges in Biblical times from condemning every one of the prophetic instances we have spoken of and it won't stop them today. This does not mean we are to accept a revelation because it comes from one we believe to be a good person but it does mean that we are not to judge when we don't know. Deception and false prophecies and dreams come to and for just the opposite kind of people. 2Th.2:10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness for them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie: 12 that they all might be judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. We will speak of this kind more below. Some foolishly believe that God will always delay judgment through intercession. When the people continue to sin against God and man, even the most righteous of intercessors will not stop Him from destroying them. Eze.14:13 Son of man, when a land sinneth against me by committing a trespass, and I stretch out my hand upon it, and break the staff of the bread thereof, and send famine upon it, and cut off from it man and beast; 14 though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord Jehovah. 15 If I cause evil beasts to pass through the land, and they ravage it, and it be made desolate, so that no man may pass through because of the beasts; 16 though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, they should deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only should be delivered, but the land should be desolate. 17 Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off from it man and beast; 18 though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, they should deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only should be delivered themselves. 19 Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my wrath upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast; 20 though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, they should deliver neither son nor daughter; they should but deliver their own souls by their righteousness. Don't be deceived friends, for God's people who don't bear fruit there will come a great "falling away". The Lord ultimately is coming for the fruit, which is the spiritual man, not the carnal man. Our natural life is only the earth in which God has planted the seed of His Son, Who is the Word. Only He that came out of heaven will go back (Joh.3:3,13). Bearing fruit for those who walk by faith is no problem, but for those who confess Christ, while they refuse to believe His Word in order to bear fruit, there is destruction. Jude 3 Beloved, while I was giving all diligence to write unto you of our common salvation, I was constrained to write unto you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are certain men crept in privily, [even] they who were of old written of beforehand unto this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. "Lascivious" here means a license to do what they want. Those who think grace gives them this privilege will be destroyed. 5 Now I desire to put you in remembrance, though ye know all things once for all, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. Eventually, when men refuse to repent, God says not to pray for them anymore. Jer.7:16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me; for I will not hear thee. 17 Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? Here it is again in 14:10 Thus saith Jehovah unto this people, Even so have they loved to wander; they have not refrained their feet: therefore Jehovah doth not accept them; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. 11 And Jehovah said unto me, Pray not for this people for [their] good. 12 When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt-offering and meal-offering, I will not accept them; but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence. To the true prophets, God says to stop asking Him to delay or have mercy. Eventually only the false prophets promise the wicked peace, safety and prosperity. 13 Then said I, Ah, Lord Jehovah! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place. 14 Then Jehovah said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name; I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake I unto them: they prophesy unto you a lying vision, and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their own heart. 15 Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land: By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed. Dreams and visions can come from false prophets who imagine them in order to confirm themselves to the people. Jer.29:8 For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Let not your prophets that are in the midst of you, and your diviners, deceive you; neither hearken ye to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. 9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith Jehovah. 25 I have heard what the prophets have said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. 26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart? 27 that think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers forgat my name for Baal. 28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat? saith Jehovah. Even false prophets are sent from God to try the righteous and separate the wicked from them. These sometimes can have prophecies or dreams that come to pass to see if you will depart from the Word. Deu.13:1 If there arise in the midst of thee a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and he give thee a sign or a wonder, 2 and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods (Elohim [or “another Jesus”]), which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; 3 thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or unto that dreamer of dreams: for Jehovah your God proveth you, to know whether ye love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 Ye shall walk after Jehovah your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. Even pagans can have true dreams for God's purposes of impressing them or giving them direction or showing us the future. It was so with Pharaoh's dream of the seven years of plenty and the seven years of famine (Gen.41:1-7). It was also true with Nebuchadnezzar's dream of the future of the one world order and image of the beast, which God's people worshipped (Dan.2:31-3:7). Finally, brethren, pray for prophecies, dreams, visions, words of knowledge and wisdom from God. They will guide you through the coming tribulations and catastrophes. According to the Lord, the gift of prophecy will grow according to your faith to prophecy. Rom.12:6 And having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, whether prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of our faith. We are not to judge someone else's faith for "If you have faith have it unto yourselves". The saints must be permitted to grow up and mature in their gift without being judged by those who don't understand this about New Testament prophecy. The gift of prophecy also grows with maturity in knowledge. 1Cor.13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; (meaning part God and part us) 10 but when that which is perfect (mature or full grown) is come, that which is in part (us) shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child: now that I am become a man, I have put away childish things. Notice from the beginning of our covenant many prophecies may be part us and part God. As we see here, this does not mean the one prophesying should be condemned for having part of their prophecy wrong any more than a child would be for acting immature. The fact that one part is wrong does not mean the rest is wrong. Notice that these prophecies were permitted in the early church so that the immature could grow in their gift. Although permitted they were discerned for the sake of truth and those who heard. 1Cor.14:29 And let the prophets speak [by] two or three, and let the others discern. 1Cor.13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part... (Please listen to Prophesying in Part.) Why does knowledge have an effect on prophecy? Prophecy is not like the gift of tongues. When one speaks in tongues they have no idea what they are saying so their mind does not get involved and pollute the gift. With the gift of interpretation of tongues as well as prophecy there can be this pollution. Since the person understands what is being said, the mind can pollute the gift with immature thinking, false doctrines, and desires of the flesh. We are warned not to condemn someone who is seeking truth among us for having these faults but rather gracefully instruct them. (Rom.14:1-5) Those who judge the immature brethren's attempts to step out in faith and prophecy need to remember God's warning in Jas.2:13 For judgment [is] without mercy to him that hath showed no mercy: mercy glorieth against judgment. Probably no prophecies are perfect outside of the scriptures until "that which is perfect (mature or full grown) is come". The Lord has shown us that we are about to come to the time when the Man-child ministry will appear with the unleavened bread and the latter rain just as Jesus came but with the former rain. This will bring many to maturity because of the anointing and truth. This will quickly restore the five-fold ministry which is very feeble at this point. A person who is mature in the faith and doctrines of Scripture, as one who is in the office of true prophet must be, their prophecies are much more reliable. You see here that gifts of prophecy and knowledge are not judged as the office of a prophet was in the Old Covenant, so have mercy on those who are stepping out by faith. Many have these gifts without holding the office, which is judged more strictly because of the greater anointing and maturity of the gift. Many who prophesy claim the office but should not. As we have seen in the Word, true prophets spoke things that did not come to pass because of God's mercy or His people's repentance. On the other hand, some are just proving themselves not to be prophets and/or not to be mature in faith and knowledge needed to support their gift. No condemnation intended. Jesus said He always did what He saw of His Father. He constantly spoke in parables He saw from our Father. These parables offended the apostates and they did not understand them. Mat.13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. In dreams and visions, Father is still speaking in parables and they still hate them. Jesus took His disciples aside and privately explained the parables. Be a disciple of Jesus and you will understand.

The central question of Christianity is why does someone dying 2,000 years ago and rising from the dead matter to you? If the answer to that question is "it doesn't" then it's all meaningless, but what if it's real? What if God came to do something bigger than you can imagine?. Join us Sunday to dive in! OPENING ILLUSTRATION: Did you guys know there is a proper way to fold a towel? Look all the women are like, “Of course there is” All the men are like, “You fold towels?” It's really true. The other day I was folding towels when I was done I came back in and my beautiful wife was refolding the towels, I was like, “What are you doing?” She, with a kind look on her face said, “I appreciate you trying…” Lol… I wasn't mad though - it just means I don't have to fold towels anymore… :) Some of you are like, “No, it means you need to learn to fold towels correctly…” One of the worst feelings in the world is to put your energy into something that ends up being worthless… The other day I was having a conversation with someone who said he didn't believe Jesus died and rose from the dead. What he said was he couldn't understand how someone dying 2,000 years ago and rising from the dead would do anything for anyone. It's a good question, right? How does someone dying 2,000 years ago and then raising from the dead do anything for you? b What if you put all this energy into Christianity and it all ended up being worthless? b The even better question is, what if it's real? I wanted to share with you a historical account from the Story of God - if you don't know we've been in a series on this looking at how God's interaction in the world has worked. I want to show you a story today that I think will help make sense of why Jesus' death on the cross makes a difference for us… and then hopefully help you see that it's worth investigating… DAVID: Probably one of the most famous people from the bible is King David. David did not start off as King. He was a shepherd boy, he'd spend his days in a field, all by himself watching over flocks and caring for these animals. He would lay on rocks some days and other days watch as a wolf or bear prowled on his sheep and would have to fight them off. He was a musician and a warrior - actually, he was one of the fiercest men in the scripture. He did a lot of good things and did some hideously bad things… One time when he was older, while all the kings normally went off to war - meaning he was home in his Kingdom with most of the women - He took for himself one of his key men's wives and hatched a murderous plot to kill her husband - one of his friends… David did plenty wrong - but what he got right was he had a heart for what God's heart beat for. b Even when he messed up, David would turn back to God… one of the most famous stories of David was from when he was a young man before he had blood on his hands and before he'd seen enough life to know better… You have probably heard this story before. David was delivering food to his brothers who were fighting in the then King's army, Saul… Israel had drawn up battle lines with their foes, the Philistines. You HAVE to get your mind out of the little kid books you've seen about these stories. These fierce battles warn men. There is dust in the air, the stench of sweat and campfires. One minute these guys are prodding one another on, the next they are talking about back home. Picture any movie you've seen with military men waiting… They are waiting because neither army wants to go out and attack. The Philistines keep sending out their champion, a giant of a man - Goliath - 9 ft tall… (the bible was not meant to be a science book - the point of the biblical author is not to give you an exact height, their point is to tell you this guy was massive.) He would come out and offer to the armies of Israel - Let the battle of one take the place for the two 1 Samuel 17:8b-9 Choose a man and have him come down to me. 9 If he is able to fight and kill me, we will become your subjects; but if I overcome him and kill him, you will become our subjects and serve us.” You know the story, don't you? David, delivering some bologna sandwiches (that's not really what it was, but it's how I like to picture it) hears these taunts and he says, “Why is no one going out to fight this man? God is with us! David will do what seems ridiculous… b One man will go out to battle this giant - he will put his life on the line for all people of Israel. David will gather 5 smooth stones, he has a little sling - it's a shepherd's weapon. Goliath sees him and can't understand why they would send a boy out to be killed by him. David will swing the sling and with deft accuracy his first stone will leave the sling - you can almost picture it in slow motion ILLUSTRATION: Did y'all see Vince Dawson from Great Crossing sink that show over Lexington Catholic for the buzzer beater? That kid has ice in his veins! David's moment was like that. Everything had to be just right. Slow motion, that stone left the sling and it could go nowhere else but into Goliath's head. The stone turned into a bullet at that moment… Goliath fell and the part we never tell kids is that David ran over, grabbed Goliath's sword, and hacked his head off, the crowds are all watching in disbelief as David holds up Goliath's head. He had won the battle for the people that day! What a beast! Look, I get it, you may have not been here for all the sermons on the story of God… But it's a story you've been living… Humans, throughout all our history, have looked at God and said, “We can do this on our own…” b The problem is, when we rejected God, we had to pay the price for it… Scripture says the price is death, an eternal death Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death” I was just telling a friend, Hell is just God giving us what we wanted - an existence that is completely devoid of the good that God puts in the world… b Death is the giant in our world - it's what brings the deepest fear in the human heart. It's the giant standing out there defying us… Remember at the beginning I said my friend's question was how someone dying and rising from the dead would do anything for me today? b David's story isn't just David's story. God was showing us all those years ago what our story would look like. b In order for Jesus to defeat death, He had to go through death. b How would you know someone conquered death itself unless that person came back from the dead? that is really as weird as it sounds… It is why early Christians gave their life for this message. Actually, that's why I personally believe it. The early Christians were the ones who would actually claim to see Jesus alive after seeing Him dead. Those Christians, when asked to renounce their claim. They chose to die rather than renounce it. They believed so firmly Jesus had risen from the dead and that His promise was to do the same for those who placed their trust in His leadership that they allowed their own lives to be taken from them. THAT is significant! Again, I ask you the question. What if it's real? What if those people died because they had really seen Jesus alive after seeing Him dead? What would change about your life if you knew every sin you'd committed could be forgiven and you could find eternal life in Jesus? Because he defeated the giant of death with a stone too - it was a stone that sealed his grave and he rolled it away and came out alive and changed the world! CLOSING ILLUSTRATION: I remember when I first met my now wife. I thought, who is this beautiful woman and how do I get to know her more? I started trying to get around her, I'd invite her over to a party I was having. I'd try and be around when she was around. I did everything I could to be near her. Look, I get you might not be convinced. But What if it's real? Wouldn't you want to be around Jesus and get to know Him? Could I ask you a question today? What if you took the next 5 weeks and you just decided you were going to give God a try? You were going to see if you seek Him if He doesn't show up… What if it's real? It changes everything! Get around Him and I believe 100% you'll fall in love!

Over the last handful of days the LORD has been confirming to me the redirection He is calling for in this season. I mention that briefly in this podcast and also lay out some scripture-based truth on our call to pray for Israel. We need to be reminded it is not based upon what our eyes see. It is not based upon human behavior. It is based upon covenant love. Be reminded today that God has a plan for Israel, the same way he had a plan for us pagans. église AB Lausanne ; KJV Exodus 5 And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness. And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go. And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword. And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens. And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens. And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying, Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves. And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God. Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words. And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spake to the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw. ...
Pastor Lowell Nelson teaches on Exodus 32: 15-29 "Whoever is on the Lord's side—come to me!" on 11/7/2022 for our Upper Room Bible Study. Exodus 32:15-29 15 And Moses turned and went down from the mountain, and the two tablets of the Testimony were in his hand. The tablets were written on both sides; on the one side and on the other they were written. 16 Now the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God engraved on the tablets. 17 And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said to Moses, “There is a noise of war in the camp.” 18 But he said: “It is not the noise of the shout of victory, Nor the noise of the cry of defeat, But the sound of singing I hear.” 19 So it was, as soon as he came near the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing. So Moses' anger became hot, and he cast the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain. 20 Then he took the calf which they had made, burned it in the fire, and ground it to powder; and he scattered it on the water and made the children of Israel drink it. 21 And Moses said to Aaron, “What did this people do to you that you have brought so great a sin upon them?” 22 So Aaron said, “Do not let the anger of my lord become hot. You know the people, that they are set on evil. 23 For they said to me, ‘Make us gods that shall go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.' 24 And I said to them, ‘Whoever has any gold, let them break it off.' So they gave it to me, and I cast it into the fire, and this calf came out.” 25 Now when Moses saw that the people were unrestrained (for Aaron had not restrained them, to their shame among their enemies), 26 then Moses stood in the entrance of the camp, and said, “Whoever is on the Lord's side—come to me!” And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him. 27 And he said to them, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Let every man put his sword on his side, and go in and out from entrance to entrance throughout the camp, and let every man kill his brother, every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.' ” 28 So the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. And about three thousand men of the people fell that day. 29 Then Moses said, [a]“Consecrate yourselves today to the Lord, that He may bestow on you a blessing this day, for every man has opposed his son and his brother.”

12/12/21 Light To Israel // Let Light Shine out of the Darkness // 830 St Philips // Luke 1:57-80 by Church Hill Anglican
Wednesday, 1 December 2021 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. Acts 2:41 Peter has given the instructions to those of Israel before him concerning what they must do in order to, as he said, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” The instructions were found in verse 2:38, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.” The reason for this is because they are a part of Israel and because they lived during the time of this “perverse generation” that had crucified the Lord. Thus, they bore the national guilt of Israel, whether they had actually participated in His crucifixion or not. Therefore, they had to repent (change their mind). It was a necessary part of their conversion. Further, the baptism was to show an alignment with Christ, thus rejecting the actions against Him that had taken place. The account describes what occurred and why. It does not prescribe anything for us today because it is not normative in the process of salvation as laid out in the epistles. This is a one-time event that sets apart believers in Christ from those who would not believe. Remembering this now, we read the continued words of Luke, “Then those who gladly received his word.” The word translated as “received,” apodechomai, is a forceful one used only by Luke, mostly in Acts that signifies “to gladly receive.” In some manuscripts, such as that used for the NKJV, it is accompanied by the word asmenós, signifying “with delight.” Thus, there is a heightened sense of the joy they felt as they anticipated a joyous turn of events in their lives. Though the words are merely descriptive, they go to the heart of the gospel, and they clearly convey the doctrine of free will. Nothing is said here, or anywhere else in Scripture that God caused them to receive the word. They heard the word preached, and they have faith that the word is true – “But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, ‘Lord, who has believed our report?' 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:16, 17 The word “obey” cited by Paul in Romans 10 clearly means “to believe,” as it does elsewhere in this context. These people before Peter heard the good news, and in their hearing, they had faith (they “received his word”). Of those who received this word, it next says they “were baptized.” This is in accord with the Lord's instructions of Matthew 28 – “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' Amen.” Matthew 28:18-20 The people had believed, meaning they had faith after receiving the word. In this, they were saved. And so, as an outward demonstration of the inward change, they were water baptized. Because nothing is said of them receiving the Holy Spirit it cannot be known if that came before or after the water baptism. But the equation of Mark 16:16, which was cited when Acts 2:38 was evaluated, says that the Holy Spirit is received upon belief. As such, it can be reasonably inferred that this is the case here. From that point, these now-saved believers were obedient to the word of the Lord recorded in Matthew 28, and they were baptized. But even if during this recorded event the Spirit came upon them after water baptism, such would not be normative for the church age. For example, the description of the coming of the Spirit in Acts 8 and Acts 10 will be different than it is here. What is presented in these three chapters is not to establish a norm for the church, but to provide confirmation to Peter that these various groups had, in fact, been accepted by God. This will be seen as the accounts are evaluated. As noted in the Acts 2:38 commentary, and supposing Peter was speaking of water baptism (something that cannot be wholly determined from the text), this could not be considered a work for these people. Rather, it would be a necessary condition to bring them into the proper category where they co uld be acceptable to receive the Spirit. The categorical requirements were set forth. In being water baptized, this group of people would have then met the categorical requirement. As the timing of the coming of the Spirit upon them is not recorded, it cannot be known what Peter was referring to with one hundred percent certainty. The point, however, is that Luke is providing a historical record of what occurred. He is not setting doctrine for the church. And so, either way, this is not to be considered a normative standard. It is simply a description of what took place. With this understood, it next says, “and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.” A great number indeed! They had heard the words of Peter, they had believed the message, and they were saved. In being saved (either way), they were water baptized as a way of publicly professing their new faith in Christ Jesus. The number three thousand is an important number to see and understand. This is because it fulfills a pattern that is set forth in Scripture in which a theological point is made. In Exodus 32, we read – Now when Moses saw that the people were unrestrained (for Aaron had not restrained them, to their shame among their enemies), 26 then Moses stood in the entrance of the camp, and said, “Whoever is on the Lord's side—come to me!” And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him. 27 And he said to them, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Let every man put his sword on his side, and go in and out from entrance to entrance throughout the camp, and let every man kill his brother, every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.'” 28 So the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. And about three thousand men of the people fell that day. 29 Then Moses said, “Consecrate yourselves today to the Lord, that He may bestow on you a blessing this day, for every man has opposed his son and his brother.” Exodus 32:25-29 At Sinai, which according to Galatians 4 symbolizes the temple in Jerusalem, the law was received, and it was written on tablets of stone. Those tablets were given to Moses but were broken at the base of the mountain because of the people's turning from the Lord to a false God. After this, three thousand people died because of their sins. In Acts 2, at the temple in Jerusalem, the word of the Lord was again given, but this time it was written on the tablets of the hearts of the people, as Paul calls the work of the Spirit in 2 Corinthians 3:3. In this, three thousand people were saved because of their faith in Christ Jesus. The two accounts are given to show the superiority of the fulfilled law in Christ to the giving of the law by Moses. One was written on stone, and it leads to death. The other is written on the heart, and it leads to life. It was a perverse generation who failed to believe, having time and again rejected the Lord in the wilderness, and it was a perverse generation who rejected Christ and sought to seek their own righteousness apart from Him. The lesson we see is that for those three thousand who died at Sinai, they died in sin because of their deeds and their failure to believe. For the three thousand who received Jesus in Jerusalem, they died to sin because of faith in the deeds of Jesus. The contrast is complete. Life application: The question for each of us is, “When the Lord comes to visit us for punishment, will it be punishment in us for the sins we have committed in this life, or will it have been in Christ for those same sins?” These are the only two options available to man. If our sins have been judged in Christ, our names are written in the book of life, and they shall never be blotted out; we have overcome. If our sins have not been dealt with through Him, then another fate awaits It is the most marvelous news – in Christ, God so pardons sin as to remember our sin no more! The world doesn't even want to hear about sin. But it is a reality that cannot be denied when considering the holiness of God. Today many churches are filled with worshippers quite often because the church is geared towards the carnal man. There are promises of health, wealth, and prosperity, but there is no heart for the grace of God which frees us from sin. The sin is passed over and not dealt with. Or churches return their people to the law in an attempt to turn away the wrath of God. But God rejects this. What God has done is to accomplish all the work that is necessary for our salvation in and through the Person of Jesus Christ. To return to the law is to reject this. It is a self-condemning act. Or, to fail to acknowledge one's sins at all means that such a person doesn't really need a Savior. It too is a self-condemning act. Lord God, there is nothing surer in my life than the fact that I need a Savior from sin. I know that You sent Christ Jesus into the world to accomplish this, and I receive the offer You have made in Him. I receive the good news! Thank You, O God, for Jesus. Hallelujah and Amen.

They Curse Themselves David Eells 8/23/20 (audio) Communist/Muslim Witchcraft Thwarted by Prayer for Trump Claire Pienaar 8/22/20 (David’s notes in red) We prayed for President Trump last night, for his protection and his family’s protection. I had just closed my eyes when I had this super quick but powerful vision: I was in a black auditorium, with many many people all dressed in black robes. I was watching a stage, and the backdrop of the stage was a fire-burning sign of a sickle (like many communist/muslim countries) with a sword going through it. I saw some people on the stage, and they were walking in a half-circle, like they were just beginning a ritual. (Witchcraft) I saw a very well-known political woman in that half-circle. (Speaking of the sickle in communist/muslim countries: The sickle is actually a crescent moon in muslim countries and is on their flags. It originally represented the moon god represented in scripture as enemies of God’s people thousands of years before Islam. Communism and Islam are very similar in many ways. They both bring the people into much bondage through deception. Both are anti-christ and ant-Christianity. Both have joined together to make war against this political revival in America through the Trump Administration, I was standing on the left of the stage, mid-way towards the front of the auditorium and I had a white veil on from head to toe and I think it made me invisible. But they realised I was there. I am not sure whether they saw me, heard me or smelled me, but their senses were heightened and they turned directly towards me and the well-known woman was HRC and said “get her”. (This leftist faction in the government and in the “Church" have been attempting through witchcraft to curse the righteous but will fail as their curses come upon themselves as we will see God’s Word says. The witches world wide have gathered at least 3 times to curse Trump but only gave him favor from God. And this is a parallel with the Man-child and the witches against them.) And then I woke up tasting metal. (This vision seemed to last mere seconds). I calmed myself by singing scripture to myself to get to sleep. But this morning I remembered everything and told Riaan. Within seconds he found this: The Sword and the Sickle is a novel by Mulk Raj Anand first published in 1942. Like his other novels, this one also deals with the topic of social and political structures, specifically, the rise of Communism. The title for the book was given to Anand by George Orwell. The novel was in keeping with British and American writings of the time. The book was the final part of the trilogy that included The Village and Across the Black Waters. The symbols that were on fire show us that the socialists/communists/fighters are all part of the same spiritual enemy force. Essentially, there’s only 1 enemy. And he's defeated through faithful and faith filled prayer! Amen! I asked the Lord for a word by faith at random, and received the following: Mark 7:32-35, with my finger on “fingers” and “tongue”: “And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to lay his hand upon him. And he took him aside from the multitude privately, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spat, and touched his tongue and looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. And his ears were opened, and the bond of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain." I think the verses are showing me that we have the “tongue of Christ” to speak the Word of God, and to use it as a sword (hence the metallic taste in my mouth). (And the tongue of the righteous will conquer their enemies.) Let’s continue to pray for Trump (and the Man-child parallel) – it’s driving the dark side crazy! Glory to God! The Curse on the Factious David Eells Both factions, in government and Church, should pay attention to this but they wont. Pro 26:2 As the sparrow in her wandering, as the swallow in her flying, So the curse that is causeless alighteth not. Gal 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Gen 12:3 and I will bless them that bless thee, and him that curseth thee will I curse: and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed. — God said this to me when an enemy cursed me to my young son on the street in front of our house . I saw them speaking but I didnt know what it was about. His father died on that very spot the next day. Balak, king of Moab, the leader of the faction against their brethren, the chosen people, said: Num 22:6 Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land; for I know that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed. But every time Baalam opened his mouth he blessed the chosen. Num 23:8 How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? And how shall I defy, whom Jehovah hath not defied? 9 For from the top of the rocks I see him, And from the hills I behold him: Lo, it is a people that dwelleth alone, And shall not be reckoned among the nations. 10 Who can count the dust of Jacob, Or number the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, And let my last end be like his! 11 And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether. 20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: And he hath blessed, and I cannot reverse it. 21 He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob; Neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: Jehovah his God is with him, And the shout of a king is among them. The Leader of the faction failed to Curse the chosen so he tried again and failed… Num 23:27 And Balak said unto Balaam, Come now, I will take thee unto another place; peradventure it will please God that thou mayest curse me them from thence. Balaam could not curse them but he did bless them. Num 23:8 How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? And how shall I defy, whom Jehovah hath not defied? Num 24:8 God bringeth him forth out of Egypt; He hath as it were the strength of the wild-ox: He shall eat up the nations his adversaries, And shall break their bones in pieces, And smite them through with his arrows. 9 He couched, he lay down as a lion, And as a lioness; who shall rouse him up? Blessed be every one that blesseth thee, And cursed be every one that curseth thee. (The faction curse themselves and everyone can see it in Church and government) 10 And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together; and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times. ( A number of the faction against us was led by their leader to try to curse a sister to death. He sent a fornicating medium from among them to try to release this curse on the sister but instead what happened was a miracle of healing of her blood and she became much more healthy. The nurses gathered around her declaring that only God could do that. And that she should be dead.) Jdg 8:31-9:20 And his (Gideon’s) concubine that was in Shechem, she also bare him a son, and he called his name Abimelech. (Notice: He was of the faction not of the Bride) … 34 And the children of Israel remembered not Jehovah their God, who had delivered them out of the hand of all their enemies on every side; 35 neither showed they kindness to the house of Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, according to all the goodness which he had showed unto Israel. (We all served them well but they turned Judas against us when it was them who turned to the most vile sin. Pro 17:13 Whoso rewardeth evil for good, Evil shall not depart from his house.). 9:1 And Abimelech the son of Jerubbaal went to Shechem unto his mother's brethren, and spake with them, and with all the family of the house of his mother's father, saying, (Notice: The head of the faction went to those who were brethren of the concubine, not the Bride for they would not listen. So he spoke the faction and they gullibly received it to their own death.) 2 Speak, I pray you, in the ears of all the men of Shechem, Whether is better for you, that all the sons of Jerubbaal, who are threescore and ten persons, rule over you, or that one rule over you? remember also that I am your bone and your flesh. (Notice he did not consider himself one of the sons of the Man-child body. ) 3 And his mother's brethren spake of him in the ears of all the men of Shechem all these words: and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech; for they said, He is our brother. (The joined the faction) 4 And they gave him threescore and ten pieces of silver (just like Judas) out of the house of Baal-berith, wherewith Abimelech hired vain and light fellows, who followed him. (Like those men who lied about Jesus) 5 And he went unto his father's house at Ophrah, and slew his brethren the sons of Jerubbaal, being threescore and ten persons, upon one stone (The factious leader killed his own brethren with slander): but Jotham the youngest son of Jerubbaal was left; for he hid himself. (Just like Jesus the man-child hid from Herod) 6 And all the men of Shechem assembled themselves together, and all the house of Millo, and went and made Abimelech king, by the oak of the pillar that was in Shechem. (King of the faction that only they recognized. They make the unordained the ordained.) 7 And when they told it to Jotham (Type of the Man-child who escaped Herod), he went and stood on the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried, and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you. 8 The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive-tree, Reign thou over us. (They before had asked Gideon the Man-child to reign but he refused.) 9 But the olive-tree said unto them, Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honor God and man, and go to wave to and fro over the trees? 10 And the trees said to the fig-tree, Come thou, and reign over us. 11 But the fig-tree said unto them, Should I leave my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to wave to and fro over the trees? 12 And the trees said unto the vine, Come thou, and reign over us. 13 And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my new wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to wave to and fro over the trees? (Apostates asked Samuel to make them a king. God said they rejected Him from being their King. So He gave them Saul a demon possessed man who in hated and jealousy tried many times to kill David. Then he spoke to a medium but it was he who died) 14 Then said all the trees unto the bramble (or thorny briar, a porcupine “christian’), Come thou, and reign over us. 15 And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and take refuge in my shade; and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon. 16 Now therefore, if ye have dealt truly and uprightly, in that ye have made Abimelech king, and if ye have dealt well with Jerubbaal and his house, and have done unto him according to the deserving of his hands 17 (for my father fought for you, and adventured his life, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian: (God through us delivered these people and provided for them) 18 and ye are risen up against my father's house this day, and have slain his sons, threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and have made Abimelech, the son of his maid-servant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your brother); 19 if ye then have dealt truly and uprightly with Jerubbaal and with his house this day, then rejoice ye in Abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you: (Notice, Because they had returned evil for good the Man-child prophesied their destruction) 20 but if not, let fire come out from Abimelech, and devour the men of Shechem, and the house of Millo; and let fire come out from the men of Shechem, and from the house of Millo, and devour Abimelech. — The curse of God that was not causeless was performed by God who spoke it through the Man-child and evil did not depart from their house as it is today. Curses should not come from us but from God. Rom 12:14 Bless them that persecute you; bless, and curse not. God can speak a curse through any person of God prophetically but the curse should not come from them personally or it could come back on them. God does not ordain to judge anyone through a person who is full of hatred, slander, witchcraft, faction, fornication, etc. 2Co 10:6 and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience shall be made full. We have many dreams of the factious attempting to speak curses on us through witchcraft. Some are very specific and names are always in them including the latest head of the faction. There is a curse spoken, not by us but by God on the factious. God gave it to me a few days ago by faith at random. Psa 109:17-20 Yea, he loved cursing, and it came unto him; And he delighted not in blessing, and it was far from him. 18 He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment, And it came into his inward parts like water, And like oil into his bones. 19 Let it be unto him as the raiment wherewith he covereth himself, And for the girdle wherewith he is girded continually. 20 This is the reward of mine adversaries from Jehovah, And of them that speak evil against my soul. … 28 Let them curse, but bless thou: When they arise, they shall be put to shame, But thy servant shall rejoice. 29 Let mine adversaries be clothed with dishonor, And let them cover themselves with their own shame as with a robe. They tried to kill sister but we blessed her. The unforgiving Faction’s curse comes upon them. Mat 18:23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, who would make a reckoning with his servants. 24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, that owed him ten thousand talents. 25 But forasmuch as he had not wherewith to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. 26 The servant therefore fell down and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. 27 And the lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt. 28 But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow-servants, who owed him a hundred shillings: and he laid hold on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay what thou owest. 29 So his fellow-servant fell down and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee. 30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay that which was due. 31 So when his fellow-servants saw what was done, they were exceeding sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. 32 Then his lord called him unto him, and saith to him, Thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou besoughtest me: 33 shouldest not thou also have had mercy on thy fellow-servant, even as I had mercy on thee? 34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due. 35 So shall also my heavenly Father do unto you, if ye forgive not every one his brother from your hearts. God Curses the Disobedient 1Ki 20:36 Then said he unto him, Because thou hast not obeyed the voice of Jehovah, behold, as soon as thou art departed from me, a lion shall slay thee. And as soon as he was departed from him, a lion found him, and slew him. Jer 42:21 And I have this day declared it to you; but ye have not obeyed the voice of Jehovah your God in anything for which he hath sent me unto you. 22 Now therefore know certainly that ye shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the place whither ye desire to go to sojourn there. - - Babylon brought a curse upon them because of their disobedience. The DS Faction Burns US but Fails Gabe Watson 8/22/20 (David’s notes in red) Where I live there's kind of mountains and hills all around me. (Representing the kindoms gathered together under the Deep State against the Christians) I was on a boat by myself. I was just praying normally and all of a sudden I could see in the spirit all the trees that were on the mountains and hills burning with fire. I then heard "this nation will burn". Everywhere I looked, I just saw fire on all the trees. As I begin to continue to pray that didn't seem abnormal to me considering all the things that are going on in the nation right now. But then I saw a huge bucket with two hands holding it. The bucket began to pour water on every where there was fire. The water began to put the fire out. As I looked at the bucket, I noticed an inscription that said "Prayers of the Saints".The verse I got at random was Numbers, 19:12 the same shall purify himself therewith on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean. Then I asked if I should send it to you and got this verseJoshua, 23:14. And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which Jehovah your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, not one thing hath failed thereof.Note - as I was about to send this to you I noticed there were 500 wildfires in California. I had no idea this was going on.(I believe Leftists, BLM, the anarchists, and radical muslims will on behalf of DS Babylon, attempt once again to burn the US, and especially in burning churches and pastors out. As we know the Obama/Hillary administration invaded the US with muslims for the purpose of overthrowing their enemies the Christians and right wing. As God’s people prayed He sent Cyrus to conquer the DS. But God told us through many verses in our morning prayer meeting, some today, that He would still use this DS to burn apostate Christianity typed as apostate Israel in scripture who was conquered by Babylon as a type of the Deep State. Jer 21:10 For I have set my face upon this city for evil, and not for good, saith Jehovah: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire. Jer 34:2 Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, Go, and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire: Jer 38:18 But if thou wilt not go forth to the king of Babylon's princes, then shall this city be given into the hand of the Chaldeans, and they shall burn it with fire, and thou shalt not escape out of their hand. The DS is pushed in a corner with all the prosecuting evidence against them for their crimes and love to hate Christians…I also believe that Cyrus will finish his job to conquer the DS and their proxy warriors. Here is an old revelation of America conquering the moon god of Islam.) War Leads to Revival in Islam Michael Hare - 11/07/2008 (David’s notes in red) Yesterday my wife went out on the back deck and was praying for God to save the world. She then looked up at what was a half-moon and saw the U.S. flag unfurled setting on top of it in full color. The moon's crescent points were facing to the left like a "D" shape. (Updates 8-23-20 in red: The left and crescent moon of Islam are one today) Then, as if it grew out of the moon, a pole rose up with the flag flying on top. (The flag of the US conquering Islam) There were many beams of light shining down from all across the bottom of the moon. At one time she briefly saw a cross on the right side of the moon. (The glory of God will come to Islam through this defeat) This was happening at the same time UBBS was taking place. She saw this three or four times when she went outside. I went out but did not see the flag or the light beams. Then the next night she went out and saw the flag flying over the moon once again but the beams of light were surrounding the half-moon this time. It was as if the moon was in a tunnel of light beams. (God will bring his glory to many Islamic people) She also said the moon had changed position. She didn't remember to what extent it changed, though. She saw this vision a couple of times that night but the cross was no longer seen. The next day she told me that she saw the flag over the moon even in the daytime. That night she saw the flag again but on a shorter pole, but this time the moon disappeared and a lady's face and neck appeared with beams of light on top and on bottom. Those converted from Islam will enter the Church as many are even today.) 2008 Note from David: Flags are raised in places where territory is taken or claimed. The crescent moon is the sign of Islam that is on all their flags. This probably means there will be war with Islam, as we have been expecting after another strike on the U.S., and the U.S. will be victorious in subduing some Muslim territory. (Update: as Cyrus is doing now) In this case, the crescent's points on a moon face to the left, making it a decrescent moon, as opposed to right which would be an increscent. This is a declining moon and signifies a decline in the power and world authority of Islam. The light beams shining from the bottom of the moon mean that following this suffering for them a revival of the cross and glory of Christ will begin in the lowliest of Islam. (Update: We are now watching this happen) This revival will increase, symbolized by the beams surrounding the moon in the next stage. The moon changed position, indicating a change of position among the chosen in Islam. The momentary appearance of the cross on the right side was a hint that those on the right would indeed face the cross. This happened during the UBBS program because we have written that this would happen in Hidden Manna for the End Times (see excerpt below) and taught it on our broadcasts. The last stage, the moon appearing in the daytime, signifies that God's light will shine to dispel the darkness of Islam. The lady's face and neck with light all around indicates that God will chose a glorious bride from among them, too. PTL! Here is a portion of chapter 15 of Hidden Manna, called Fall of the United States: I believe that before the tribulation begins we will see another attack on the U.S. far worse than 9/11, causing the U.S. to retaliate on its Middle Eastern enemies. (This of course has happened and many Muslims are discouraged with Islam and turning to Christ.) I received a confirming vision that had been given in autumn 2002 to Erich Reber, a Swiss prophet who is reported to be very accurate. Erich says he was transported by the Spirit of God into U.S. cities and neighborhoods, where he saw an Islamic terrorist attack that left many thousands of people dead. (Update: this is what we have seen) The silver lining in all of this will be a wonderful revival, even among Muslims. In 2005, he saw the vision again and God told him to speak it to America, which he did on May 6, 2006. "It looked far worse than after the 2004 Tsunami", he said. "The result of this attack will be the emergence of a cloud of poison that will hover over the U.S., and then slowly, over a number of days, move toward Canada”. (Update: Could this be the next plague after Covid19 which we have seen is coming?) This attack will have two results: First, it will lead to a great and new quest for God. (Revival) The followers of Jesus in the U.S., therefore, should get ready for a large harvest of people previously unmoved by God. Second, the U.S. as a nation will overreact and retaliate with military means so strong that this will lead to a huge humiliation and demoralization of the Islamic world. America and some political allies will lead a military strike of such a force that millions of Muslims will cry out to Allah in desperation -- in a similarly unanswered way as Christians in America who merely cry out to God to do something. Then, many Muslims will cry out for help to anyone, and this will be the time when Jesus will reveal Himself to them. This, in turn, will open an entirely new door for the gospel and many Muslims will be brought into the Kingdom of God. Let me describe how I feel the Scriptures show this U.S. attack on militant Islam will come to pass. First, every new world order has been preceded by tremendous war in which they conquer the previous declining empire. The wars the U.S. are fighting against the Middle East, sometimes by proxy, have their type in Scripture. Babylon became the head of the new world order by defeating the huge Middle Eastern Assyrian Empire, whose capital of Nineveh fell to them in 609 B.C.; some say 612 B.C. Nineveh is in the area of Mosul in Iraq, which the U.S. conquered. The Babylonians then chased them from city to city, like the U.S. is doing at this point. This parallel is even more striking when we consider that the Babylonians conquered the Assyrians when their chief male deity cult was the moon god. The crescent moon is the symbol of Islam and is clearly shown on the flags of the Muslim countries in and around the old Assyrian Empire. In the time of Gideon, who was a type of the Man-child in tribulation, Israel conquered the people whose god was represented by their "crescents" (Jdg.8:21,26). In the time when Isaiah cried to save Judah from Assyrian beast captivity, God promised to take away from them the "crescents" (Isa.3:18). The last unified stronghold of the Assyrian moon god adherents before the new world order was Carchemish, which was the eastern capital of the old Hittite Empire. "Hittite" means "terror". Assyrians were known as the worst of terrorists. Bernie Monsalvo, who wrote on ancient Middle Eastern Empires, wrote of them: (Update: Who are the terrorists of the moon god today?) "Assyrians seem to have been about the worst of them all. They built their state on the loot of other peoples. They practiced cruelty. They skinned their prisoners alive, or cut off their hands, feet, noses, ears, or put out their eyes, or pulled out their tongues, and made mounds of human skulls, all to inspire terror”. (Update: this is common to Islam and the DS Satanists) From here, what was in type Islamic terrorists, made one last attack on the Babylonians at Haran. This attack infuriated the Babylonians who threw all they had at Carchemish and destroyed them and their allies. (Update: There is a new king of Babylon today who is conquering Islam and the DS, Cyrus Trump.) This is historically when Babylon, a type of the U.S., was recognized as the head of the new world order and will be repeated as the tribulation begins. (Update: True) This whole sequence of events is related in Jeremiah 25. (Jer.25:1) The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah (the same was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon), (2) which Jeremiah the prophet spake.... The "fourth year of Jehoiakim" is said by Jeremiah to be when Nebuchadnezzar defeated the Egyptians, who were allied with and fought alongside the Assyrians, and represents the worldly nations fighting through the foreign insurgents fighting to stop U.S. "democracy" from taking root. (Update: The DS and Islam hate democracy and are fighting against it with the communists.) (46:2) Of Egypt: concerning the army of Pharaoh-neco king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon smote in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah. This battle was the end of the old order Assyrian Empire and beginning of the new Babylonian Empire. I believe this battle represents a terrible attack by the U.S. and allies on Middle Eastern Islamic enemies after, and in retaliation for, the next 9/11 attack on the U.S., symbolized by the attack on Haran. After this, in our Jeremiah 25 text, Babylon, as a type of the U.S., ruled for seventy years before its own fall to the Medo-Persian bear in 539 B.C. This seventy years is a type of the seven years of tribulation in which Middle Eastern peoples will be destroyed by divide-and-conquer tactics or directly by the U.S. (Jer.25:11) And this whole land (Middle East) shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy (seven) years. (Update: Coming to pass) Years ago, when I was reading of this seventy-year captivity, I heard the Spirit say, "seven years". The "seventy years" that these nations and the Jews served Babylon are a type and a reverse abbreviation for the end-time seven years of tribulation when the Middle East, Israel and the Christians will serve Babylonish U.S. at the head of the world beast. This is confirmed in Revelation 17 where the harlot of Babylon is destroyed by the beast after riding it to the end of the of seven-year tribulation. We will see much more proof that the seventy years are now seven as we continue.

Then Balaam spoke his message: “Balak brought me from Aram, the king of Moab from the eastern mountains. ‘Come,’ he said, ‘curse Jacob for me; come, denounce Israel.’ How can I curse those whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the LORD has not denounced? From the rocky peaks I see them, from the heights I view them. I see a people who live apart and do not consider themselves one of the nations. Who can count the dust of Jacob or number even a fourth of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and may my final end be like theirs!” Balak said to Balaam, “What have you done to me? I brought you to curse my enemies, but you have done nothing but bless them!” He answered, “Must I not speak what the LORD puts in my mouth?” Then Balak said to him, “Come with me to another place where you can see them; you will not see them all but only the outskirts of their camp. And from there, curse them for me.” So he took him to the field of Zophim on the top of Pisgah, and there he built seven altars and offered a bull and a ram on each altar. Balaam said to Balak, “Stay here beside your offering while I meet with him over there.” The LORD met with Balaam and put a word in his mouth and said, “Go back to Balak and give him this word.” So he went to him and found him standing beside his offering, with the Moabite officials. Balak asked him, “What did the LORD say?”Then he spoke his message: “Arise, Balak, and listen; hear me, son of Zippor. God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it. “No misfortune is seen in Jacob, no misery observed in Israel. The LORD their God is with them; the shout of the King is among them. God brought them out of Egypt; they have the strength of a wild ox. There is no divination against Jacob, no evil omens against Israel. It will now be said of Jacob and of Israel, ‘See what God has done!’ The people rise like a lioness; they rouse themselves like a lion that does not rest till it devours its prey and drinks the blood of its victims.” Then Balak said to Balaam, “Neither curse them at all nor bless them at all!” Balaam answered, “Did I not tell you I must do whatever the LORD says?”Luke 22:47-71While he was still speaking a crowd came up, and the man who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss him, but Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?” And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear. But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him. Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him, “Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come with swords and clubs? Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour—when darkness reigns.” Then seizing him, they led him away and took him into the house of the high priest. Peter followed at a distance. And when some there had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and had sat down together, Peter sat down with them. A servant girl saw him seated there in the firelight. She looked closely at him and said, “This man was with him.” But he denied it. “Woman, I don’t know him,” he said. A little later someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them.” “Man, I am not!” Peter replied. About an hour later another asserted, “Certainly this fellow was with him, for he is a Galilean.” Peter replied, “Man, I don’t know what you’re talking about!” Just as he was speaking, the rooster crowed. The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly. The men who were guarding Jesus began mocking and beating him. They blindfolded him and demanded, “Prophesy! Who hit you?” And they said many other insulting things to him. At daybreak the council of the elders of the people, both the chief priests and the teachers of the law, met together, and Jesus was led before them. “If you are the Messiah,” they said, “tell us.” Jesus answered, “If I tell you, you will not believe me, and if I asked you, you would not answer. But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God.” They all asked, “Are you then the Son of God?” He replied, “You say that I am.” Then they said, “Why do we need any more testimony? We have heard it from his own lips.”
EXODUS 32: 25 Now when Moses saw that the people were unrestrained (for Aaron had not restrained them, to their shame among their enemies), 26 then Moses stood in the entrance of the camp, and said, “Whoever is on the Lord’s side—come to me!” And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him. 27 And he said to them, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Let every man put his sword on his side, and go in and out from entrance to entrance throughout the camp, and let every man kill his brother, every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.’” 28 So the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. And about three thousand men of the people fell that day. 29 Then Moses said, “Consecrate yourselves today to the Lord, that He may bestow on you a blessing this day, for every man has opposed his son and his brother.” 30 Now it came to pass on the next day that Moses said to the people, “You have committed a great sin. So now I will go up to the Lord; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.” 31 Then Moses returned to the Lord and said, “Oh, these people have committed a great sin, and have made for themselves a god of gold! 32 Yet now, if You will forgive their sin—but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written.” 33 And the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book. 34 Now therefore, go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you. Behold, My Angel shall go before you. Nevertheless, in the day when I visit for punishment, I will visit punishment upon them for their sin.” 35 So the Lord plagued the people because of what they did with the calf which Aaron made.
