To miał być ostatni wywiad młodej, ambitnej szwedzkiej dziennikarki – przed przeprowadzką do Chin. Kim Wall wiele miesięcy czekała na tę okazję, a gdy w końcu nadeszła nie wahała się ani chwili – 20 sierpnia 2017 roku weszła na pokład łodzi podwodnej „Nautilus”, należącej do słynnego konstruktora i wynalazcy, Petera Madsena, nazywanego duńskim Elonem Muskiem. Ze wspólnego rejsu powrócił jednak tylko on. Nieszczęśliwy wypadek? A może zabójstwo? Tragiczna prawda zaczęła docierać do wszystkich, gdy 11 dni później na plaży odnaleziono tors kobiety…

!ChatGPTThe case surrounding the death of Kim Wall and the subsequent trial of Peter Madsen is a harrowing tale of deception, violence, and the pursuit of justice. Here's a detailed summary of what happened:Meeting and Disappearance: Kim Wall, an independent journalist, went missing after accepting an invitation from Peter Madsen, an eccentric inventor, to visit his workshop on August 10, 2017. She was last seen alive boarding Madsen's submarine, the UC3 Nautilus, for what was supposed to be a short trip around the bay near Copenhagen.Discovery of the Submarine: When Kim failed to return, her boyfriend reported her missing to the police. The Danish Navy launched a search operation, and the Nautilus submarine was eventually found sinking in the bay. Madsen was rescued, but Kim was nowhere to be found.Madsen's Conflicting Stories: Initially, Madsen claimed he had dropped Kim off safely, but his story quickly changed. He eventually admitted to the accidental death of Kim aboard the submarine, claiming she was killed when a hatch fell on her head. However, subsequent evidence contradicted his claims.Discovery of Kim's Body Parts: Eleven days after Kim went missing, parts of her dismembered body began washing ashore on Amager Island. Further searches led to the discovery of more body parts, including her head and legs, all showing signs of mutilation.Forensic Evidence and Investigation: Forensic examinations revealed that Kim had been stabbed multiple times and likely strangled to death. Investigators found incriminating evidence on Madsen's computer, including videos depicting violence and death.Trial and Conviction: During the trial, Madsen changed his story multiple times, but the prosecution built a case against him based on evidence of premeditation, including his possession of tools used in dismemberment and his attempts to lure other women onto the submarine. Madsen was found guilty of murder, indecent handling of a corpse, and sexual assault, and was sentenced to life in prison.Aftermath: Madsen's marriage to Jenny Curpen while in prison attracted media attention, with conflicting reports about the nature of their relationship. Emma Sullivan's documentary about Madsen, "Into the Deep," shed further light on the case but faced challenges in distribution. The case of Kim Wall's murder shocked the world and served as a stark reminder of the dangers journalists face in pursuit of the truth, as well as the depths of human depravity.
Danish engineer and mad inventor Peter Masden was intriguing to Swedish journalist Kim Wall. He was inspiring to many and well known for his rockets, space lab, and multiple submarines. But her story of a lifetime turned into making headlines in a very different way that she had expected. Peter secretly plotted to get her alone, under the ocean, and then reveal who he really was.Sources:https://www.newyorker.com/culture/culture-desk/peter-madsen-guilty-verdict-leaves-lingering-questions-and-pain/amphttps://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5526977/amp/Kim-Wall-killer-watched-videos-women-impaled-spikes.htmlhttps://www.hbo.com/undercurrent-the-disappearance-of-kim-wallhttps://www.oxygen.com/true-crime-buzz/who-is-peter-madsen-submarine-maker-and-murderer-of-kim-wall?amhttps://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_MadsenThanks for listening! Peter Madsen, 47, a self-proclaimed inventrapeneur independently built 3 submarines and a rocket. He was well known in his home country of Denmark for his inventions and eccentric personality. His first rocket launch was just days away when his entire life unraveled on August 10, 2017, after he invited award-winning freelance journalist Kim Wall, 30 aboard his submarine for an interview. Kim, a social justice warrior, traveled the world conducting her “shoe leather” style of journalism and was known for her intriguing and sometimes quirky style of journalism. She had pursued an interview with Madsen for months and jumped at the opportunity to come aboard his submarine. Only one of them returned.Sources:https://www.foxnews.com/world/who-is-peter-madsen-the-danish-inventor-charged-with-murdering-kim-wallhttps://www.wired.com/story/final-terrible-voyage-nautilus/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRdb_NB7uG4https://www.max.com/shows/undercurrent-the-disappearance-of-kim-wall/9e2b2ddb-6867-41b5-bb87-f807d26625achttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9X93IA1ieVEhttps://thecinemaholic.com/where-are-kim-walls-parents-now/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dOGDq2Yw5Ehttps://forums.digitalspy.com/discussion/2400522/the-investigation-bbc2-pace/p3https://www.weekendavisen.dk/2018-19/samfund/kim-walls-kaereste-hun-var-levendehttps://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-54018795https://thecinemaholic.com/where-is-peter-madsens-ex-wife-jenny-curpen-now/https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/oct/12/my-friend-kim-wall-journalisthttps://www.newyorker.com/culture/culture-desk/peter-madsen-guilty-verdict-leaves-lingering-questions-and-painhttps://www.rememberingkimwall.com/tributeshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJZPtMjmXsUhttps://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/sep/17/danish-law-to-outlaw-life-sentence-prisoners-starting-new-romances-peter-madsenhttps://www.vice.com/en/article/5dpqgb/the-story-of-kim-walls-murder-but-not-as-you-know-ithttps://www.wnyc.org/story/crumbling-leaking-radioactive-dome-pacific/https://www.amazon.com/Silenced-Voice-Life-Journalist-Wall-ebook/dp/B07WG88JPQ/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1BB62U18U37OM&keywords=kim+wall+book&qid=1693872146&sprefix=kimball+book%2Caps%2C131&sr=8-3
Kim Wall grew up in Sweden but traveled all over the world while becoming a freelance journalist. After finding out about inventor Peter Madsen and his submarine The Nautilus, she decided to reach out and try to get an interview. On August 10th, 2017 Peter and Kim were set out on The Nautilus for about two hours for Kim to get her story. After two hours went by and there was still no sign of Kim, Peter or the submarine Kim's boyfriend alerted the coast guard. A huge search was set out to find The Nautilus, but nothing was found until 11am the next day. Although Peter was the only one that came out of the submarine.
On August 10, 2017, independent journalist, Kim Wall, boarded a submarine to interview its owner, Peter Madsen; she would never return to shore alive. This week, Hannah tells Katy the absolutely tragic story of the events that unfolded next, and the brilliant young mind that was lost to the hands of a truly evil man. This one has homemade submarines, unchecked narcissism, a surprisingly competent police force, and so much more. We recommend a palate cleanser and/or emotional support drink/pet nearby for this one because it gets rough. Join us this week as Hannah takes us to Denmark! This is the story of the submarine/rocket man Peter Madsen. A Danish “inventrepreneuer” and total psychopath. He was convicted in the brutal slaying and subsequent dismemberment of Swedish journalist Kim Wall aboard his “home made” submarine UC3 Nautilus. Side tangents include bloat and water sniffing cadaver dogs. For astrology this week we get a new moon eclipse in Aries and we enter Taurus season! PS: We should probably fire our editor…
Peter Madsen a toujours nié l'avoir tué. Le 9 septembre 2020 lors d'un documentaire diffusé au Danemark, il a avoué l'avoir frappé à mort.

Michelle Carter) tells the story of accomplished journalist Kim Wall, who tragically went missing in 2017. Wall was last seen just prior to interviewing the eccentric entrepreneur Peter Madsen aboard his self-made submarine in Danish waters. Madsen is soon put on trial, and a judge is tasked with determining what actually happened on the vessel. The documentary weaves together trial testimony, expert opinion, never-heard-before audio from Madsen himself, key new interviews with those who knew Wall and Madsen, and includes commentary from a range of officers, scientists, and journalists close to the case. In 2017, Swedish journalist Kim Wall boarded the submarine of a local inventor/entrepreneur, with plans to write a story about him. At 30, Kim had an impressive resume of achievements and accolades, and prided herself on listening to the people she interviewed, telling their stories in the way that only she could. This time, she'd become the topic of the story, and it would overshadow her accomplishments. Let's try to undo that. When you talk about this one to people, be sure and talk about the real story—how tragic it is that a woman as talented as Kim Wall, who would've undoubtedly gone on to make a difference in countless lives, was senselessly taken from the world at 30 years old. All murder stories are important. I want to bring special attention to this case by reposting it for this week of Thanksgiving because Kim Wall, the victim in this episode, gave so much of herself to everyone around her, her community, and the public. I want to honor her. I'll be back next week with a brand new case—one you will not want to miss.
