The regular season is over. Nebraska finishes 6-6 after falling to the Iowa Hawkeyes 13-10 on Friday night in Iowa City. From pre-game shenanigans to missed opportunities while the clock was running, all-in-all it was an ugly day in an ugly state surrounded by ugly people. The defense was solid with the exception of the screen pass to Caleb Johnson that was the Hawkeyes' lone touchdown. But it wasn't enough to overcome passes either overthrown or missed and bad special teams play. How did the Hawkeye Hicks treat our beloved Hoss, who attended the game in Iowa City for the second time in a row? The big OVERreaction after Friday was going down the list of people to fire. While we expect some changes to the coaching staff for one reason or another, it should be noted that none of the main players are likely to go anywhere (this assumes Dana Holgorsen's agreeing to stay in Lincoln after this season, which...he should). GBR...always.
